Yohji Yamamoto Her Love Story

I bought this perfume in the winter, and I was so underwhelmed. I tried it again on a warm spring day, and it ́s a love for me. Stunning, everyday citrus-green, slightly musky perfume. Much better citrus scent than Light Blue. Ideal for spring and summer. It doesn ́t smell cheap at all. I ́ll be wearing this a lot this year. 100ml for 19€ is a steal.

I am quite a big fan off this perfume. It is my signatures scent at the moment. I really like citrusy scents. I must say it can cause a headache sometimes. But it smells really fresh for me. Just don’t spray to much because you may get a headache. I’ll rate this perfume a solid 8.7/10 I recommend but it’s not for everyone.

I've smelled Chanel Chance Eau Friache many times already. Though not a side by side comparison, I can say that this reminds me so much of the former. You probably don't need both in your collection. Plus it's like less than half the price of the orig one. It just smells fresh, citrusy and a bit fluffy too. Love this 😊

I love this! I bought it as an replacement for Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche when Chanel changed the composition. The fragrance seems to last forever on my skin and moves from fresh and lively to mature and calm. Unfortunately I can get it in EU anymore. I feel that is the story of every fragrance I fall in love with

I’m surprised. It really smells like chance eau fraiche EDT. I think I’ll buy this because it is cheaper than chanel.

Hot June day and it is indeed similar to Chance Eau Fraiche, but less loud and subtler. It was far more flowery during colder weather, and then it did not resemble Eau Fraiche at all. It is very pretty and feminine. Today it started with bergamot, lemon and green notes plus grapes in far distance. The heart, I am feeling a fresh rose on vetiver canvas from the base. The scent is very fresh and energetic today. I'll need to remember to compare it to Eau Fraiche. The fragrance itself and the presentation are of high quality. Having it today again on myself I feel that eau Fraiche is harsher.

It does have resemblance to Chance Eau Fraiche by Chanel but it is airier. Lovely creation. Opens citrusy floral. I feel lemon, bergamot, green notes, rose, a drop of patchouli and vetiver. The blend works very well together. The Chanel I feel all day, this clearly only a half and there is a need to reapply. But it is gorgeous. Perfect for summer heat but it is versatile with regards to weather.

I have both this and Chanel Chance eau fraiche, they are really identical to my nose. I wouldnt buy Chanel eau fraiche as long as i can get this. Her love story is stonger than Chance eau fraiche, need to be careful not to spray too much at once, otherwise headache. Fresh, uplifting scent. Love love in spring and summer time.

This one disappointed me. I'm really only picking up on the top notes, except instead of grapes, add aquatic notes. I wish the base notes were more prominent. Usually this brand has more unique releases, but this smells common. It's smells like an aquatic, citrusy green fragrance. I can't even pick up on the floral notes; it smells like a feminine leaning unisex freshie. It smells like a designer scent that I could imagine being sold in Ulta. It's not bad, and I could actually see a lot of people liking this. I'm just very picky and like more unique/interesting fragrances, plus I don't like this scent profile. I expected something more coming from this brand. Update: I started wearing this more in the springtime and I'm enjoying it now. I think it suits a transitional season like spring more. I might find it to be too much in the heat. I see it as a casual fragrance that still smells put together.

I was really hoping the dry down on my skin would be the same as Chanel's but Her Love Story just did not do it for me. I was aiming for that similar nice, soft, powdery, soapy, fresh dry down but Yohji didn't give me that. I'm assuming because Chanel's Eau Fraiche ( 2007 version ) contains iris and amber while Yohji seems like it does not have any of those notes. It's definitely my fault, I blind bought the perfume because it's cheap and most reviews are mentioning how it's a great dupe. To me? they both smell the same on the opening but dry down is definitely a DIFFERENT STORY... Now if you're just simply looking for a summer fragrance, then Her Love Story would be a great one!

Excellent citrus smell! Bergamot, Green Notes, Lemon, and Grapes are the top notes; Pink Pepper, Jasmine, and Rose are the middle notes; while Musk, Patchouli, Vetiver, and Vanilla are the base notes. For me, it smells incredibly fresh and lively. Perfect for the summer season, and it gets a lot of praises. Longevity is long-lasting, and the silage is sufficiently robust.

Was hoping I would like it based on the notes and similarity to Chanel Chance but it's not for me. I have a full 3.4 fl ounce bottle if anyone's interested.

Smells very similar to Chance Eau Fraiche by Chanel but this is a tad cheaper.
