Dragon Tattoo

From hate to love the distance can be surprisingly short. I can’t explain what has happened, my initial reaction to Dragon Tattoo was anything but love, rather repulsion... Since then I have kept going back to my sample, every time getting increasingly attracted to the fragrance, ending up being totally and hopelessly addicted to it! This change is remarkable, I have never experienced that a fragrance has had this effect on me. I’m not sure if it will become my «go-to» fragrance on an every day basis, but I have this craving for it, to smell this on my self, for myself! I don’t care how my surroundings will react to it. I placed my order this evening and never have I had such a longing for a fragrance to become a part of my collection. This is SO WELL DONE, so even if it ́s not for everyone, I find it one of the most intelligently composed perfumes I have ever smelled. THIS is bold perfumery! I SO look forward to get this bottle home!

My husband- while in Zurich for work was tasked with finding me a perfume I’d never heard of before, cannot get in NYC and something he enjoys. (I default to parma violets which he hates lolz.) I think he did a marvelous job- selecting this scent. Because he’s obsessed with calligraphy pens & inks- I can see the attraction to the ink concept here- we also both enjoy musk. My bottle- while beautifully packaged and substantial- is in a totally different bottle- no spikes or black glass. It’s much more minimalist. Maybe the spiky bottle was too costly to produce anymore? He was miffed the bottle I opened wasn’t the spiky one he was shown in the Zurich shop. The numerous “disgusting” reviews below are amusing- are we smelling the same scent?!?! Dragon Tattoo is unique but quite smooth, quiet and unassuming. Very much a skin scent. It reminds me of a cross between Muscs Koublai Kahn & M/MINK. But softer and creamier.

i will be honest .. its realy realy the smell of punk girl with tattoo, drunk, sweaty and so dirty but wait.... its a masterpiece that not any one can make it or any one can wear it, if you love boudoir of vww you will love this but you need time .. its the smell of tattoo ink .. thank you

The first fragrance I tried from Ys-Uzac is Immortal Beloved. And I really liked it so much it peaked my interest in discovering other fragrances from this house. I was sooo looking forward to try this fragrance. And to be honestly it's mostly the bottle design which attract my interest to this fragrance. I was so looking forward to like this fragrance just as an excuse to have such cool bottle in my collection. Looking at the notes initially it's not something I would go for, however the smell of ink does intrigue me. Finally I was able to order a sample of it directly from the Ys-Uzac website the moment it was available. One would think : the notes of ink combined with caramel and fruity notes could not go wrong. But it did, and it really repulsed me. And I have to agree with Q80. If this is the smell of skin, then it would be the smell of skin of the groin area of a person who has not bathed in years and frequently been peed on. Seriously it's that's gross! At least to my nose. Seriously if I did not buy the sample directly from the Ys-Uzac website I thought the seller would have just performed a very bad practical joke on me and just ended up scooping up pee samples from uncleaned public bathrooms. This is not a perfume, but just to give it some light of positivity: This is a form of Art. Being that Art is meant to evoke a certain reaction from people. And this did succeed in doing exactly that. It will evoke unpleasant reaction from people. Looking at the love - like - dislike meter on Fragrantica I really, genuinely like to meet someone who voted "love". Not to bash them, however just out of curiosity and intrigue what kind of person would Love this fragrance. Oh, another positive thing though, this stinker is REALLY strong. If you love strong fragrances, this is your juice! :-p

OH GOD... this is the second fragrance (after Montcresto by Masque) that disgust me in the extreme disturbing way! Sorry Ladies but this should be said: it is the smell of a playable girl (mostly a hooker) who party all night long wearing Madonna's Lucky star Outfit, drinks plenty of alcohol till she gets SUPER drunk, uses drugs at max, and sweats like a pig in a very loud cheap club & she's next to the club's public bathrooms. It is EXACTLY like that, mostly her armpits sweat... just like Vincent Micotti wanted this juice to smell like & i can't deny that he reached his goal PERFECTLY! the main note that made this reached it's purpose is the dirty musk. The dirty musk consists of Ink, Leather and MANGO which they didn't mention. The mango is crystal clear shown within the top note till the base note & side by side with the musk that made it smell like tattooed sweaty skin. This bottle is ART as a shape and as a juice inside and this can't be neither denied nor neglected as a piece of art. The question is "would anyone want to smell like this! :)

It is rare that I would find any perfumes disgusting, most of the time I can still appreciate it even when it's not my cup of tea. Well here's my first. Not only did it affected me, my boyfriend kept saying I smell like insecticide. To me, the smell was like after a few bottles of beer and a mixture of some stinking piss. I sprayed it before I went out and had to try really hard to wash it off. It was so strong that I couldn't wash it off entirely. But to some extent I do agree with another reviewer that this is some form of art. Imagine dragon's breath maybe this would be it. I normally love ink and leather smells but this one somehow mixed with fruits gave me a deep guava. And it's not the good kind of guava.

This is by far the most disgusting fragrance I have ever encountered. It made me dissy and nauseas. Who would ever want to smell like ink? Think of a white flower drenched in ink by a butcher with a slipknot mask that listens to epileptic techno on his mp3 player while hi is preparing to finish off his victims. 1/10

This smells like a very young woman sweat during a party. Just after the first hit (for because of it) it turns into a very alluring smell. In certain skins it can go into a catastrophe. I gave it a try on my skin and was surprised it didn't went more sweet as most fragrances do.

Does anyone have this fragrance who might let me sample it? I will happily pay to try!

How is this floral? Very confused. I hav to say I'm curious as I love leather.
