Ivanhoe

Accidentally took this perfume from a shop, and guess amazed with its perfume, few days later one of my relative just noticed and asked the bottle from me, I gave it, then for many days I searched this perfume as it was discontinued? finally I got it in another shop, I took 2 bottles, just want a huge stock of the juice, wonderful and masculine. I just love it.

The best go to perfume any day I am tired of other perfumes I have a collection of 200+ fragrances But this one is so special to my heart. I dono why no one sense the sweet marjoram / artmesia on this For the price point just love the way its been crafted

I wrote a similar review for Luminous Vivid by Maison Alhambra because I own both fragrances and they are (basically) identical, even though LV is a clone of Perseus by PdM. I haven’t had the chance to smell Terre d’Hermes so I don’t know how surprised I should be by this similarity. By complete coincidence, I bought Ivanhoe a day earlier (the regular one, not Ivanhoe in Black; for 57 PLN / 13 euro ) than Luminous Vivid. As soon as I sprayed Luminous Vivid, I immediately noticed the same grapefruit as in Ivanhoe, and indeed the scents are essentially identical. I used two sprays of each on my forearm and two on the inner elbow, and the only differences are: In the opening, the grapefruit in Ivanhoe is clearly bitter, while LV is balanced by sweet orange or mandarin, so the result is neither sweet nor bitter — just right. But this opening lasts a very short time so it’s irrelevant, honestly. After 5–15 minutes, both dry down to the same scent; LV settles into Ivanhoe’s bitterness. It’s pleasant. The only real difference is that LV is stronger, clearer, as if Ivanhoe had been sprayed earlier and was already starting to fade, but otherwise it’s the same scent. And indeed Ivanhoe projects less and lasts shorter. After about an hour, Ivanhoe became a skin scent, LV about half an hour later, so not a big difference, but during that whole time LV was noticeably more detectable. From the 2nd to the 4th hour of wear (as I’m writing this), Ivanhoe is already hard to detect on the skin, though still possible, while LV I can still clearly smell when I bring my nose close. It’s simply a stronger fragrance than Ivanhoe. Ivanhoe feels like I’m smelling LV from slightly farther away, but it’s exactly the same scent, really. Next time I’ll try spraying Ivanhoe 4 times and LV 2 times to see if that balances them out, but even if it does — what’s the point, since LV costs less than twice as much. And over time it might become more widely available in Poland and the price may drop to around ~50 PLN / 11 euro like the other PdM clones from Maison Alhambra, at least in Poland. Maybe I’ll also manage to apply Perseus on skin and compare it directly to them, not just from the cap, and then I’ll edit the review. Ideally I’d also like to find Terre d’Hermes. Lastly, I’ll note that I only just bought both fragrances, so over the coming months they might each change in different ways, but I doubt it. The similarity is too strong.

I own Terre d'Hermes EDT and EDP, and wanted to try out a cheaper alternative. Bad idea. This is just a nauseating chemical mess and no resemblance whatsoever with Terre d'Hermes. Luckily I only paid 15 euro because it will go straight into the bin.

Strong + ugly = very ugly .. chemical artificial notes makes me feel a headache and want wash my hands as soon as possible ..sorry guys but it was my opinion !..

It was suggested to me as a new comer by a salesman. Put a sample on the wrist, went home and I started counting the minutes to go buy it the next day. Superb, masculine, refreshing, never-boring, and long lasting. I wore it on 7:30 a.m., went to the office, and came back at 4:00 and it is still giving me the thrill of musk, wood and spices.

ok its baisicly copy/clone of Terre d'Hermès on steroids so strong!!! its perfect to water down! ,or i recomend to mix it with laura biagiotti roma - im serious! quality is bit lacking but untraind nose cant tell diference betwin this and oryginal

Seeing the comments some are mixing up Ivanhoe In Black to original Ivanhoe both have a black bottles but the Original is shiny and In Black is matte black. Both are totally different smells.
