A great frag at low price. Could be considered as the masterpiece of Yves Rocher!

Gorgeous spicy oriental for men, especially the vintage red bottle!

Fragrance Review For Aztek Yves Rocher Top Notes: Bergamot, lime, sage rosemary Middle Notes: Nutmeg, caraway, coriander cinnamon Base Notes: Patchouli, cedar french labdanum Taken by surprise with this one. It's classified as an Oriental but it's a Mexican. And I love it! This is a spicy very aromatic masculine/unisex fragrance. The opening is lime scented aftershave and aromatic with rosemary. I do love that rosemary and it's quite realistic. But this was pretty much the way men's colognes start and even the way they finish. Let's talk about the spices. Oh there's nutmeg, caraway and cinnamon. Very delicious if you like spices in your fragrances. It wore almost like L'Elephant by Kenzo without the floral touches. There is no flowers in this scent. It smells like it's name suggests: Aztec. It's an Aztec market place in the pre-Colombian era. When I inhale this fragrance I visualize Aztec Indians in loin cloths smoking tobacco and walking across bridges into large cities where the market place smells like this: spicy, aromatic, and lacking in fruits and flowers. Clearly not designed for girls who like candy scents, or fruity florals. Or for guys who like floral fougeres. Just pure spice. I think it's gorgeous. I wish more women would check this one out. Don't let "for men "for women" labels keep you from experiencing some of the most amazing scents on the planet.

I'm reviewing from the smell on the paper - and I really understand why they had to reedit this fragrance. It's really good - though an oriental it's not overwhelming strong, or all about spicyness. It has class and sillage and I wouldn't mind my BF wearing it. It's not as classic as EGOISTE de Chanel, but it's in this frame of mind. The citrus start is almost the usual, but with the rosemary it becomes special. The spices of the middle are so well blended together, I can't differentiate the notes. The drydown is strong of cedar with this nice labdanum note. (kind of like in Pasha Cartier).
