Calme Absolu

True to its name, this is Calme Absolu!! Don't expect the typical barbershop 'fougère' men's fragrance here; you shall not get any of that. Instead, this is the kind of lavender I and literally anyone can wear and will offend no one. I don't really like to treat this as a fragrance seriously - it's more of a naturally extracted lavender oil. The smell is identical to, at least to my nose, the oil version. I think it's really nice. It will not stand out and no one except the wearer will notice it, but after all, this fragrance is not intended for those purposes. It's intended just so that the wearer can relax - think aroma oil and you get the idea, and to that end, it does its job quite very nicely. Hope this never gets discontinued.

I don't get the dislikes this one gets, IMO it's the best out of this new collection. Definitely the most interesting.

I don't know what to say about this fragrance. It's.. soft and calm.. nice blend of citrus and lavender and woods.. very light and faint though, more like an EDT. However, I just can't memorize how it smells though I've sprayed it over so many times!! Is it just me or the YR fragrances are lacking identity over the years? Like.. seriously.. Bloom in Love.. Sur la Lande.. Verte Envolee.. Fleur des Sentiers.. Calme Absolu... Tendres Instants.. Ondes Positives.. Yes, they're all different but none has a character! They're just quite identical fresh green florals.. 6/10

I had to grab the last one from this collection (roll-on, of course). It smells like a mother, a sister, a wife, a daughter standing in a lavender field at dusk, waiting. Waiting for the return of a son, a brother, a husband, a father. To me, this simply smells of longing.

This is quite nice for a lavender frag. Lavender and my skin don't usually like each other but here the lavender note is so well blended that I don't actually even smell it. This is a herbal freshie and edp is totally misleading. Cologne or bodymist would be correct. If you want this, wait for sale and a good discount% because IT.DOES.NOT.LAST.

This is... okay, just okay. I was hoping for a more vibrant lavender note but I honestly can't even smell the lavender, it's more like a powdery floral scent. I have a friend who loves this but it's just meh for me. Not bad but definetly not a lavender scent, I think the body oil of this perfume smells better

i do not smell any woody notes in this its just citrus to me and a bit floral but barely i got this for free during a sale and i wouldnt have paid the price for it honestly

I got this one as a gift with purchase. The only good thing about it, is its name. Smells like cheap cologne. The performance is desperate. Lasts 10 minutes. For this price I could get a good dupe of niche perfume or just get a few body mists. Even the cheapest body mist would last longer than this, and smell better. Complete dissapointment.

Very delicate woody scent with a touch of lavender, I can barely smell it right after spraying 3 times on my wrists fresh out of shower. Would be nice and fresh, if only more intensive. Maybe I just have wrong skin chemistry for it.

I just tested this over the weekend and was disappointed. This is a sharp and very citric-forward 'cologne' with a woody backbone. Don't expect even a bit of lavender.

It's just lavender,thats all,absolutely nothing special. Doesn't last either,waste of money.

This is a very soft and pleasant citric-lavender scent. Unfortunately, it is very weak and disappears from my skin in less than an hour. Even though it's quite cheap, it is still not worth the money. So there.

This would make a lovely hand soap!
