Cerisier (Cherry Blossom)

Sweet smelling, floral and delicate, Cerisier has easily become one of my favorite perfumes and the ones I opt for when going to work. I tested it in-store and it was an instant love! I am a sucker for cherry blossoms and will impulsively buy anything cherry blossom-scented - be it lotions, shower gels or shampoos - and I'd say that I consider this to be the best take on cherry blossom I've encountered so far. Yves Rocher really does an excellent job replicating the scent of the flower -- airy, sweet, natural, smells exactly like cherries without sacrificing the floralcy, while also possessing a nutty nuance which I think is almond as the previous review said. Longevity-wise, it doesn't last very long, about 1-2 hours and it's gone, but this is understandable since it's just an eau fraiche. It doesn't project either; it sits very close to the skin throughout its short life. However, this is not a perfume meant to be worn to draw attention as no one will notice it, but it is office-friendly and an intimate scent perfect for private time at which you enjoy yourselves at home alone or with your loved ones. Cerisier is an impressive interpretation of cherry blossom that will indulge you with its oh-so-sweet scent yet not cloying or gourmand-ish by any means, and is also one of the best cures for a cherry blossom craving in my book.

Cerisier doesn't smell much, but it fulfills the cherry blossom fantasy. I detect a hint of almond, with a very soft and delicate white flower core. I blind bought this and was worried the scent would be totally off regarding its interpretation of cherry blossom, but it smells rather natural (even though cherry blossoms don't actually have a smell in real life). It's an eau fraîche so it has close to no longevity, but I really enjoy the smell!

This Eau Fraîche is great for the spring and summer, but also for the winter because it is so refreshing and comforting. The smell is really floral and delicate, smells like nature. Perfect for everyday use or at work if you want to smell good and not be overwhelming. It goes well with other floral or sweet perfumes. Bonus, it also stays surprisingly for a long time. I will give it 9 out of 10.

Smells amazing, one of the best cherry blossoms fragrance I've ever come across. I like it better than even L’Occitane's. Smells like dewy cut flower, very slightly sweet, light and fresh. The only dowside is no staying power, after 1 hour I can barely smell it on my skin. Stays slightly longer when sprayed on clothing.

I love it, even its fleeting essence. It’s purity in a naive and floral way, picturing how cherry trees blossom for Sakura days in Japan. You’d like to catch their petal rain and make it stay for you, but, like time, wind always wins. I spray on my clothes, sometimes even the day before I wear them. I’ll catch little whiffs of fantasy cherry blossom in the early morning. Then I reapply the pale pink bottle during the day, just for pleasure. It makes me feel so good, surrounded by a kind of light and transparent beauty. It works when I get nervous, tired, bored, and layers well with whatever I was wearing before ;

This smells beautiful, and very feminine. I was shocked to smell this. It doesn’t smell too floral, and it has a fresh hint, a very office friendly scent. The downside is the longevity! It is not a perfume so I didn’t expect an excellent longevity but it performs worse than body mist!

Nice smell but lasts too shortly. I don't know what's the real point of such things. It is only good as a top initial smell while the mid and base are just missing, that type of thing. So maybe use it in some self made mixes with something else to get a nice cherry blossom top note.

Delicate, airy, and natural. It reminds me of ripe cherry skin mixed with hint of almond extract. This is a very pretty light floral scent that I won't mind reapplying on a hot summer day. Not sugary sweet at all. It's a solid like for me.

It is nice and delicate, but it doesn't last which is sad.

The smell is so weak that all I smelled was alcohol. I tested it while testing along the Eau Fraiches "Lily of the Valley" and "Honeysuckle" and, compared to these 2, the scent was non-existent for me. I have to test it again on its own to try to figure out the scent... But I think it already gives an idea about the projection of the perfume: almost zero!

Love the airy floral, slightly green opening but personally can't stand the lipsticky, fruity dry down. Will be using it as air freshener so I can enjoy the opening without having to deal with whatever that comes after it sticks to the skin/clothes.

The most beautiful cherry blossom scent among dozens of others. Cherry blossom is a fantasy note and thus, perfume makers can concoct whatever and give it the name cherry blossom. But Cerisier is the most apt of the delicate nature, the soft pink/white color of the flower. If the flower is to have a real scent, this is it. Very simple, linear, fresh, bright and uplifting. It smells like a spring morning. Longevity and sillage are non-existent, but I expected this to be the case. This is too, too weak even for school, church or office. I would use it solely as a pick-up sent at home. To me, this is much better than L'occitane cherry blossom, which is equally simple and weak, but w a higher price tag.

I love love love cherry blossom so so much. I was pleasantly suprised with this. To be honest; I didn’t expect much of this. I love wearing this at home to feel calm and content. It’s almost aromatic and therapeutic. It smells a bit green, soapy and dare I say slighty powdery. Like you rubbed your whole body in with cherry blossom body butter. It’s more of a skin scent, but for some reason; people have asked me what I’m wearing. Describing me smelling verry feminine and soft. Absolutely recommend.

Yet another failed attempt to create a good cherry blossom fragrance. It itself smells okay as a cherry blossom scent - for a mere 20 minutes, then gone. I have experienced good staying power from YR, this is not anywhere near of even a body splash. I wouldn't pay for this, I'll spray away what I have and forget we ever met..

Cerisier features a very realistic recreation of the scent of cherry blossom. The problem with this 'eau fraiche' is that it is very fleeting and doesn't last beyond one hour. Obviously, it was meant to be applied generously. It's a perfect summer daytime scent, which can be topped up as needed.

The whole (old) Eaux fraiche collection is discontinued (The Vert, Verveine, Muguet, Cerisier, Rose, Chevrefeuille).
