Comme Une Evidence L'Eau de Parfum

Im not sure which version of l’eau i have, i think its this one, bc the box says bergamot and i bought it last year but just unboxed it today, (i save purchases and give them to myself a year later as a gift:) and this says it came out in 2017. I think there is another l’eau by annick mennardo that came out in 2003, where the fragrantica photo of the bottle for the 2003 version looks like the one i have, BUT the notes on the box match the description for this one, the 2017 version. My box also says nothing about violet leaf. I think a lot of people are putting their recent review of this one (the 2017 release) on the fragrantica page for the 2003 version but who knows? There are so many versions and bottles and releases all having extremely similar names which is just so confusing and frustrating. I love you YR, i love your fragrances, i love your prices, i love your promos and products, but i just wish you could streamline your collections a bit more so i can trust reviews, and give accurate reviews myself for your great products. I think the confusion of all of the very similar sounding releases is detrimental to the YR brand, and ends up muddying the reviews of each separate release. Please consider a simplified mon evidence line! End rant. This is definitely very chypre, very french, very european feeling. I dont know if chypre is my favorite but i do really like this. I think it is very versatile and wearableIt is a very vintage style but yet somehow made current and relevant. It does sort of have a soapy-pink soap- church lady vibe but not in a bad way! I kinda like that vibe sometimes and i am planning to attend mass today anyway so it works out! I think the scent pyramid is very good at demonstrating the complexity of this, it has a liitle of everything! I definitely get bergamot rose and patchouli, and i love all three of these accords. I think sometimes chypre type fragrances are just too much for me, but this i feel is wearable and you will stand out simply bc it is different. It feels springy-summery, clean, innocent yet sophisticated in a weird way. I tend to like rose with citrus a lot so that works for me.

I currently have this as a small bottle. But I first got it in 2007 or 2008: a fragrance sample on paper in the catalogue blew my mind and then I ordered a deodorant. This was the moment I realised I like "female" fragrances and fragrances in general. It was and is very good rose-based scent. The current version is probably the same but I don't have such good memory to assure this or compare the differences. I have used this over the years. It's a good scent overall. Having used it a lot in the past, I also use it to mix it with others that I don't like that much to see if anything interesting happens (it does!).

I've got this perfume as a free gift from my other purchase. I love this perfume. It's a beautiful soapy clean floral scent. It reminds me of my mom and her vintage pink soap; which is very comforting. The scent is not flat nor has cheap rose that you may find from other cheap fragrances. Some notes in here may be associated with "old grandma" but is balanced with fresh youthful bergamot and other contrasts. I would say that it's easy to be someone everyday signature scent because of how inoffensive and simple yet beautiful it is.

Received a complimentary miniature with an order. Screechy and soapy. Never got why this range is one of YR's top sellers. The original version is better though.

It's so confusing how many versions of Comme Une Evidence Yves Rocher has launched. I've lost track long ago! I recently recieved a bottle of this as a birthday present from YR. (Gotta love the freebies!) I thought it would be the other version with much more complex scent. But recieved this, apparently the newest(?) version. As you can probably tell from the listed fragrance notes, there's not much going on. Too simplified for my taste, there's no depth. Needless to say, I was disappointed. Some of my favourite perfumes ever are YR so I had high expectations. I wouldn't say it smells bad on my skin but it certainly doesn't smell nice either. Just "bleh". I tried spraying it on a scarf. Later that day I left the house and wrapped my beautiful scarf around my neck, only to find out it now smelled like rosey "old lady"! I will be passing this one on. So glad I didn't pay for it! Update: The other week my husband found the same scarf from a closet while cleaning, and asked me if it was definitely mine because it smelled like his great-grandmother. I smelled it too and yup, there was Comme Une Evidence. Nice nostalgia trip to childhood memories for my husband but I'm even more convinced to pass this one on now!

I'm pretty sure I'm reviewing the right one, testing from a mini. It's somewhat mind-boggling how many slight variations on this name Yves Rocher uses. Looking at the note listing wasn't super helpful either. I suppose that's what Yves Rocher reported; there's definitely more going on than the three listed. It's clean and soapy. Light and mostly pleasant. I found it a tiny bit sharp at times with something that felt like LotV. The patchouli is clean as a whistle, lends a bright greenness and the bergamot keeps it fresh. But the floral bouquet is more than rose for most of the wearing. In the long lingering scent, the rose does come to dominate and develops an old-fashioned feel; like very classic, ladylike soaps and roswater.

It is the first time that I do not express a judgment for a fragrance. It is the first time that I refer to a perfume, leaving as a last symbol a question mark. On the one hand, I like Evidence for the vague resemblance to Narciso Rodriguez for her, on the other hand I find it devoid of refinement. There is something: something that prevents me from saying yes to this fragrance and also something that does not square with the notes of fragrantica. Will it be an undeclared jasmine? Analysis:?

This is a light rose perfume, with very slight soapy notes. There's a deeper notes along with the rose, that's probably the patchouli. This is a nice scent for all over wear, like a body spray. Nice and uncomplicated, this is a scent for everyday use.

Clean soapy scent! Florals, some rose and the depth of patchouli on my skin. Very fresh, confident and feminine. Reminds me of when my mother would let her hair out, put on silver hoops and a shimmery eyeshadow before going out to dinner.
