got this as a gift from one of my clients, first thing i have to say is wow. this, being from not even a fragrance or designer house but as someone already mentioned in the comments a "higher end European Body Shop" its truly a bang for your buck, the early mint strikes a masculine smell in the beginning after the drydown its this sweet vanilla mixed with little amounts of ginger (personally not a fan of ginger) but this one made me enjoy ginger. very dissapointed that they have discontinued this.

I love Eryo, it's gorgeous!! Sweet and bitter - beautiful contrast! I love the unusual mixture of things, all of the notes work for me. Delicious ginger and mint mixed with bergamot, which is how it starts on me - and I love it. It's mmmm.....terribly delicious!! And then rosemary, rich herby, earthy patchouli, and lovely smooth sweet resiny benzoin. Beautiful!!! It's just gorgeous! And lasts for ever! And I get compliments all the time, my husband especially loves it on me. It's yum!!!

Yep. This is what I want. This is one of those aha moments. I’m so delighted to add this to my collection. I stumbled upon this by just browsing the database and saw the positive reviews - well deserved. Vanilla, citrus and spice. It’s just perfect. I bears a slight resemblance to Gucci envy - but lacks the sandalwood. I enjoy this much more than envy. It’s one of those scents that just has something about it. Couldn’t be happier. 8/10

too bad this one has just been discontinued, had to buy a bottle before it goes forever as Nature Millenaire and others from Yves Rocher, this one smells, how to say it, sweet and bitter at sametime, reminds a little to Armand Bassi blue

too bad this sour sweet males fragance is discontinued now, a gentle sea like smell perfect for mediterranean summer, anyway Bsi homme, the blue bottled Armand Bsi,s one is a good substitute if you cannot find that one anymore

Really like this one. I bought it quite some time ago. Lovely scent, warm, intriguing and,in some way, relaxing. Good quality.

WONDERFUL fragrance for men! GORGEOUS!

I used Eryo by Yves Rocher about a dozen years ago, but around 2011 the perfume was discontinued and my adventure with it ended. However, the memory of this scent remains very well in my mind. Not only because I used them a lot in the first decade of the 2000s, but also because of their very variable nature. Eryo is characterized by great variability from the opening notes to the base notes. It was a chameleon fragrance and it evolved a lot during its development. It started with fresh, crisp and sparkling citrus fruits and mint, then went through a herbal phase thanks to the large amount of rosemary in the middle part. Then it completely transformed into a warm, vanilla and spicy scent with plenty of spicy notes. It was never excessively sweet, it was well-balanced, soft and cozy, with a hint of romance. A fresh start, a herbal middle and a warm, balsamic and spicy finish. I remember that it also had quite good parameters. The scent was really surprisingly good and interesting, it had a very characteristic, slightly dreamy atmosphere of perfumes from the late 90s and the beginning of the new century. It had a Chanel Allure feel to it. Maybe it wasn't the pinnacle of Yves Rocher's perfume world, but it was certainly one that left me a little sad that it was no longer available. Surprisingly, you can sometimes buy it on the secondary market for a not too high price, but that's probably because even among customers, Yves Rocher was never particularly popular. However, I am still hesitant to buy it again, only because of the changes in the quality of the scent and the time and method of storage. 7/10

Good fragrance from Yves Rocher. One of the first I purchased...got it with the very good shower gel and after shave balm (which has almost no scent). To me, this is a good, natural male fragrance that does more than one thing - it starts off bright with the bergamot and mint with green notes of crisp/sharp rosemary and then the dash of patchouli and the costus note (indeed, very similar to ginger) transcend it into a nice oriental-tinged vanilla/benzoin drydown. This is the sharp, but warm effect happening. Not excellent but somewhat unique as it is a clean and lifted top (shower scent almost) with a warm bottom - I think it would be good for work as it is definitely not offensive or loud at all. I enjoy the blend - and feel YR did something decent here. People try to compare Yves Rocher fragrances to mainstream and it's difficult. I find that YR is usually about QPR and it almost always is very good - Eryo being another one that you should buy just to try. Like I said, good fragrance (6.5-7/10)...short on longevity for me - only 3-4 hours for me, but I don't like to heavily apply it.

Pro: A fresh green that's distinctive and well balanced. Some heft and body, but not much. Many minty fragrances don't appeal to me but here, it works, balanced with vanilla which for once isn't overwhelming while the rosemary and ginger sparkle. Perhaps not as satisfying as some in its general category but a lot better than many others. Con: Doesn't last long and I wish it was a little heftier...or maybe the fact that it isn't hefty actually helps. Not sure. But it could last longer. It's no fragrance earthquake but it does not smell cheap and is adequately pleasant. Nothing to complain about, really.

Nice. Soft sweet kind of fragrance. Reminds me of a toned down Individuel but less complex. I prefer this to that. This is more wearable. Could easily be unisex. Has that trademark comforting Yves Rocher ' je ne sais quoi ' buried deep within it. Good quality and natural smelling, not to strong thankfully or it could become a bit cloying. Slightly fresh opening, rosemary is probably what gives off that Yves Rocher signature. Slightly resinous vanilla base, not really picking up the patchouli but all said another great product from their line. Easy 8/10

Oriental, Strong. For the one who likes that genre it could be a hit. Wierd that Cinnamon isnt even on the list. Could be the Rosemary / Benzoin combo? (for me its India- in- a - bottle) I got an old bottle from like 2003 with the similar to Eryo Blue cap....but with a golden-metallic cap. Longevity and Sillage is Huuuge for an Yves R scent, back then they mostly made cheap stuff that wouldn ́t last. Smell 5,5/10 Longevity 8/10 Sillage 8/10 Versatility 5/10 Uniqueness: 7/10 Value and Quality 7/10

Warm delightful fragrance is quite close to Allure and a little bit like joop! but it has its own personality(it could be consider a light version of joop!), smooth and clean, great for winter at the office , nothing out of this world but nicely done. 85/100

stunning, very quality fragrance, it could easily be a Chanel or a Dior. I still believe that the ingredients, in early 2000 decade, were very quality and natural, most of them. It is imposiblle to find it, remember that was very beautiful and potent.

Really green and soapy on me. I don’t get any vanilla, just rosemary, mint, patchouli, and ginger. Can’t stand it. It has minimal sillage and lasts about 2 hours. Kind of reminds me of Elizabeth Arden Green Tea but a hint spicier from the ginger.

And another woman... on me it starts as soap and that lasts for at least half an hour. After that it's all vanilla with a touch of benzoin. In my opinion it's too sweet for a man. It's even to sweet, nice and soft for me ;)

This is probably closest to ST Dupont Signature Pour Homme, which is close to Envy for Men, which is in the same range as a bunch of other fragrances. This one is strong for a couple hours, then it tapers off quite a bit. It's not bad at all, but I don't like the strong sweet patchouli in these kinds of fragrances, especially when there is also a cedar note, which this one doesn't seem to have, thankfully. I can't envision myself wearing it much because a few notes are very strong (spice, vanilla/benzoin, and patchouli), which I tend to dislike. To give you an example, I'd rather wear Pi by Givenchy, because while it is similar in some ways there is no patchouli andd the cedar offers nice contrast (rather than being part of an irritating "blob" type blend). So if you know what kind of fragrance you're seeking, this might be for you. If you are a "newbie," you might love or hate this one at first, then a few months later totally change your mind about it. Don't say I didn't warn you !

This is an unsung modern masterpiece that was quietly discontinued by Yves Rocher. A benzoin-vanilla powerhouse with a stirring herbal heart of rosemary and mint, Eryo also has this magnificent fresh ginger note; it's delectable and realistic. What's also striking about Eryo is that it comes from a time just before overdoses of Iso E Super, Ambroxan, woody ambers, norlimbanol, all of those indelible aromachems that clog the olfactory receptors, so really, everything has a true radiance, with only patchouli and musk propelling and fixing the composition. Furthermore, unlike the often cloyingly sweet contemporary gourmands that are all desserts and no savory or umami, Eryo has a little sour and bitter to contrast with the sweet. A true delight for for a nose that craves more dynamism. And to think that Yves Rocher is pretty much a higher end European Body Shop; sometimes stunning fragrances come from less likely places (see also: Avon).
