Garden Party

Very short staying power on my skin. I can barely smell it 1 h after I applied it on my wrist. I do smell fresh roses and mint, there's no hint of sweetness or powdery notes, just plain rose & a bit of mint. So, weak sillage and longevity but still enjoyable especially in spring/summer mornings.

I was wearing this beauty yesterday and with each whiff of it, I confirmed that it is the ultimate summer perfume. When it is scorching outside, this fragrance veils me in the most stunning cool mint haze. The longevity, though, could be better.

my quick grab when im in hurry. Actually my fave of all in the range. i get patchouli which is nicely blended. Very longlasting and pleasant all day.

Smells very good but doesn't last.

I was pretty hesitant about this one at first due to its low rating and some negative reviews, but I'm glad I gave it a try. It's pretty damn good. If you love rose and pink florals in general, you'll love this fresh take on the fragrance. I think the negative reviews are from those who may have over sprayed this thing. Don't - most rose fragrances will feel headache-inducing and cloying if over sprayed. The idea of this fragrance is to enjoy it for yourself. Have some light sprays on the clothes and you're good to go. It's light rosy, minty (but not in a spicy kind of way) and the combination is simply gorgeous. To reiterate, don't over spray. It's marketed as unisex. However, it's inclined to the more feminine side all things considered. Still, men can pull it off, but they'll have to look - and dress - more like K-pop singers rather than Arnold Schwarzenegger. Dressing light colours is the way to go with this one. Sillage is intimate. It's a fragrance for your own enjoyment. If you'd like for others to smell you, go with Comme une Evidence collection rather than over spraying this. Longevity is to the poorer side. However, the scent alone is worth it. If you love rose, florals, or fresh fragrances, give this a try. Edit: This smells exactly like Rose Eau Fraîche by the same brand in the dry down. It's cloying and headache-inducing despite the light spray. I doubt I'll get a full bottle of it.

I got this on a 45% sale the other day because I love both rose and mint so I was really hyped to smell this. I'm glad I got it on sale, I wouldn't buy the full bottle for that much money since while this is the least offensive rose perfume I've smelt so far, it also doesn't last at all, it's gone completely within 30 mins to an hour. I don't get any noticable mintiness in this either, this is just a green rose scent that sits very close to the skin. It also has some subtle sweetness that becomes a bit powdery after a few minutes. I still find it nice tho but for me it doesn't worth the full price and it's not unique in any way that'd make me feel like I can't live without this perfume. I'd definitely call this a more feminine scent in a more traditional sense but in a very understated subtle way, a bit like a grassy shade of pastel green in a form of a fragrance.

sparkly fresh rosa damascena scent. I do not get any mint(there is definitely something green about this perfume but anyone who has smelled rosa damascena before knows that sharp green smell it has along the typical rose scent). simple beautiful perfume; comes in a generous cologne like bottle (100 ml) and projection is quite good. get it if you like clean scents. Edit: I'll be honest, this perfume I enjoyed the very first weeks (when I still got it) and it reminded me of the vintage tea rose scents that we used as teenagers (90's generation, I see you!) and that are no longer in trend right now. honestly this is the kind of scent that belongs to the past now and is no longer "acceptable" nowadays ( I never imagined myself saying that about a perfume but here it is!). it's somehow innocent, simple, but also very underwhelming.

At first it was not interesting enough because there was no mystery to me. A few months later tried it again but in the summer. I found it to be a really nice, light everyday floral for warm weather when you want to feel feminine without overwhelming with how girly you are. I did not get the mint and the rose was just rosy instead a Damask Rose. After a couple of hours it just seems as though my skin smells good instead of have a 'perfume' smell. I love to wear it when I'm in the country.

At first Garden Party feels like a light and breezy floral scent. I wouldn't insist solely on rose. Just floral. When it settles, now and then I get a whiff of mint mingled with the rose. This rosy mint reminds me of Balenciaga Florabotanica which is beautifully fresh and bold and would have been my signature scent if not for the cannabis note. Garden Party is less cold overall, but less complex also and quite faint for an EDP. It's nice, but too fleeting.

This is my favorite perfume among others in the collection. I love Rose so this makes sense. When I spray it, it gives me a light beautiful rose. The dry down is not annoying and it is not headache-inducing like some of Yves Rocher’s perfumes. Too bad the perfume doesn’t perform long enough and doesn’t project well. You won’t leave a scent trail nor make people turn their head, but it does make you feel good and you smell nice.

Little fairies with transparent green wings dance around a box of montpensier, which I put down to catch them. Sweet and sour unobtrusive (white or pink?) rose. Maybe I even feel a little bit of apple compote. It's very cute!

Very green, citrusy and rosy smell with the spice of mint! Fits perfectly for summer and spring days where flowers are blooming and green plants grow! Nice for casual hangouts!

I don't like floral or rose scents but I like this perfume and I get a tea scent from this which doesn't make sense at all.

lively mint and delicate rose. almost like a peppermint tea in a rose garden in full bloom

Cheap synthetic flowery fragrance, horrible projection, horrible bottle like for shower gel...( all the bottles of this line are in such bottles.. uhhh!)..looks like an air refresher..I could not put it on my table with my other perfumes..! Sorry, if I am being a little bit bitchy now, just honest. Yves Rocher- the creator of this brand and of trademark, if he would be still alive, he would not produce or sale things like this one. ..Each of his bottle was a masterpiece..

I received this perfume as a bag spray from YR as a gift for my 1000 loyalty points. I like it, it's very floral, and wearing it would really feel like walking through a garden party! But I find the rose-mint combo a bit strange... The scent is still very pretty as is and can be worn on any occasion, especially in spring! 7/10

Very nice and refreshind ,but... i have to renew it every 2 hours.

I tried, I tried and again tried...but no, this is not for me. Too floral, so synthetic, sharp like a razor blade. I do appreciate the intention of making a unisex fragrance smell like a thousand blooming flowers, trees and spring petals but it seems YR stumbled half way and did not get the chance to make final tuning. I see other reviews saying they had issues with the longevity. Well, on me this lasts more than 10 hours. Interestingly enough it doesn't develop at all during this time, it remains the same harsh, floral laundry detergent scent. What happened to my beloved Yves Rocher? I want it back, with its mesmerizing fragrances that used to turn heads and get applause from everybody.

Very nice opening with minty notes and a pink rose. But then... the fruitsalad stuff kicks in. The rose turns into that sickly sweet chemical kind of mess you probably know very well from drugstore perfumes. I don't have any longevity issues with this one, on the contrary, it lasts and lasts... the drydown can be perceived for days on clothes etc. Really unpleasant. A huge disappointment and not at all what it says on the label... about being "natural" and using a "simple approach". To me, this scent is a synthetic mess and I wouldn't recommend wearing it to any party, it will spoil your mood.

This one is quite a scrubber (quite screechy, tiresome synthetic rose) but lasting power is rather impressive (the only thing I'm actually impressed about, lol).

A beautiful, fresh and rosy fragrance but one should carry a bottle with and add it every now and then if this could last to the end of a real garden party -the lasting power is pretty weak. It's well blend and quite girly though has the same fresh undertone that is supposed to make it unisex. I could't imagine this on a boy or an elderly lady. But at home I find it pleasant when in need of little pick me up. The whole line is a nice opening for a new season.

I got scared by the negative reviews, and when placing the order with YR, ordered a hand cream for this one to try instead. I have to say that in the hand creme form, this is very fresh and green, and I do perceive the mint. It is exactly what I was imagining a rose/mint scent combination to be. I suspect I made a mistake in not ordering the perfume version, although it's also possible that it wouldn't smell the same as a perfume.

Did you ever bumped into those flower petals in the herb markets-spice markets? Blooming dried roses for the Rose Tea. No, not smells like dried roses, when you put those rose petals in hot water to make tea.. That smell I am talking about... This perfume is you in a wet green garden, wearing white and lacey tea lenght vintage dress, enjoying spring sun with a cup of Rose Tea in your hand. Classy, rosey, garden tea party.

this is going to be discontinued (along with tropical tentation, nouveau genre, voile d'ocre and autour de minuit). if you like it, grab it while you still can.

This perfume is perfect for spring time, it’s light and fresh, turn a bit powdery on me after an hour. It lasts on my clothes for the whole day. I love it
