Green Tea (The Vert)

This was a blind buy in my search for a replacement to EA Green Tea. I wore that for years but either I became sensitive to one of the ingredients or they changed the formula. It started smelling really cheap and sharp to me. Enter YR Thé Vert au Fraîche. It does the job of being a light green tea scent without irritating me at all. Great for when I'm feeling a bit headachy. It's very soothing. When I first got it I thought it was too weak and almost gave it away. But, I gave it a chance and the more I use the more I like it. It's one of those scents that you think fades away quickly, but then it always gets me compliments even hours after applying. I'm not sure if they've added some molecular scent here that fades in and out, but people say I smell so good when I'm wearing this even if I can no longer smell it on me. There's a whisper of a hint of white floral to my nose, as well as a noticeable hay or chamomile note in there, too. All around a lovely hidden gem and much more natural smelling than EA.

Thé vert is exactly what you'd expect from a straight-forward green tea fragrance. I can't detect any other note than the popular generic green tea one, but it's done perfectly and it actually lasts longer on me than I expected (~2 hours). Just like the other frags in the Eau fraîche line, Thé vert gives you the feeling of a sweet morning dew added on top of it. Definitely gets the job done.

IT’S ONE OF MY TOP 5 FAVS. Smells so nice and fresh suitable for sticky disgusting summery days gives such a lovely vibe I know I describe it in an ugly way but I love it if you’re not gonna buy it at least give it a try :,)

This lasts on me quite well. Smell is good, fresh and uplifting. I use this during lockdown very much. It just make me feel good all day. The price is too cheap but i can say a quality smell. A blind buy success for me.

On me this smells more citrusy, lemon-y.. if you know the drink Nestea Lemon Ice -- I feel like this is very near to that. To me this smells more like an English breakfast tea with lemon. This is a relaxing scent, almost smells like a spa. It's not cloying even during the most hot and/or humid days. What I do dislike (very much) is that this lasts 30 minutes max on me and on my clothes. Over spraying doesn't help because it will still disappear on me within 30 minutes.
