Lilas Mauve

* full 100 ml with box available for swap * I was at Yves Rocher with my best friend the other day, she gave me her points card since I don't live in Russia anymore, and I purchases my Monoi de Tahiti oil and got a free full size cream with it, was very happy. She had 20$ worth of purchases on her card, but claimed she didn't need anything, and offered me to pick something. I was so happy! I immediately snatched this fragrance. Lilac is my favorite flower, my grandma had a huge lilac tree close to the gate in the courtyard. I loved drowning my face in the pretty purple flowers, they smelled heavenly. This scent is the closest thing to real lilacs to me. It is so realistic it's mindblowing. I saw other fragrances on this website that claim to smell like lilacs and I just can't even pick up a glimpse of it. It literally smells like fresh lilacs hanging from a tree. It has a hint of greenness that comes out after a while, very subtle, as if the big lilac tree was still wet after a spring rainfall. In a way, it reminds me of Pleasures by Estee Lauder for it's floral greenness. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Longevity is poor, which is sad, but it just leaves you longing for more. As for similarities, the drydown might make you think of Omnia Amethyste, but the flowers are completely different, albeit both purple. Pur Desir was its big sister when I was growing up, and I would lie if I said I remember perfectly how it smelled. Overall, I am in love with this.

After a long time of not having this, it came in the mail yesterday and I *love* it! Much has been already said about the beauty of the scent of a blooming lilac tree and how it blooms for such a short time only. I enjoyed two of those trees so much this year... This is such a calm, quiet perfume, yet it is powerful in it's own way. In a way it's a scent that is modest, yet at the same time has some sexiness to it. When you spray it on, all those green notes appear, it is so fresh, yet shortly after there is this magical, wonderful heart of a blooming lilac tree... and there is something else! It has this sort of aquatic note, as if you smell fresh water. It's like the lilac tree is blooming next to a river, so beautiful! On me it does last a few hours with a very soft and so enjoyable sillage. Edit: Yves Rocher discontinued it as they so often do. Let's hope they bring it back in a new packging, as they also so often do ;-)

My second lilac from YR (after my first love, Pur Desir de Lilas). At first I was a bit dissappointed, because this scent is a bit more shy to my nose than the first one, but after the second testing I absolutely fell in love with it. It's more powdery with a bit musky drydown (I don't detect any resins here), very lovely, clean (not in a detergent way) and feminine. Yes, it's very similar to Bvlgari's Omnia Amethyst, and lasts more long than that one, especially when you layer with the body milk. Ideal choice for spring or summer for the soliflore lovers. Another plus: gives no headache. The bottle is simply but pretty, too.

I grew up in a Ukrainian village, and this fragrance instantly transports me back home. It smells like the weather right after the rain: wet, fragrant lilacs, warm sunshine, and a fresh breeze. It’s pure nostalgia in a bottle. The lilac note is incredibly realistic. Sadly, the longevity is quite poor, it only lasts about 3 hours on my skin and just a bit longer on clothes. I think the price is a bit high considering the performance, but it’s still my favorite. No matter what, it’s truly special to me.

This is probably my only non-fruity perfume. I bought a handy 20 ml edt and a body lotion. Such a soft, powdery lilac scent! It is my comfort scent, reminds me of my childhood summers. There is something very sentimental about the smell of lilac. The smell of early June.. after a long and cold winter. I was very happy to find this, with very reasonable price, too.

Me encanta! Me sorprendió mucho el aroma porque su predecesora me agobiaba mucho. Esta nueva versión és más ligera, no me la huelo cuando me la pongo pero cuando me quito la ropa por la noche y la huelo al dia siguiente sigue allí el olor a lilas. Las notas cítricas son un acierto ya que la salida de la anterior era un poco seca para mi gusto.

This does have that fresh lilac scent but as other reviewers have said its very light and has little longevity, much like the actual flower. I have the body lotion too, and wearing both gives better staying power. If you enjoy lilacs, this is a good one even if you're the only one who can smell it!

I love the smell of lilac shrubs that bloom in May where I live. This fragrance allows me to enjoy that smell during the rest of the year too. It's not a strong scent and it doesn't last long (about 4 hours on my skin), but if you are serching for natural-smelling lilac perfume, this is the one.

As someone who has used many perfumes from this brand, this perfume made me feel the most confident and happy. It is very suitable for use in spring and summer, my favorite lilac scent. I smell the few drops left in the bottle from time to time and I miss it so much. Please come back

Yes, i have Lilas in my garden. And yes this perfume smells like lilas. And yes its great. What a nice scent this perfume has. It is simple and gives y really a nice feeling if y were walking in the garden filled with lilas. It last long enough to enjoy its scent.

It's rather a poor replacement for Pur Desir de Lilas, but it's good that they at least introduced one. It does not stay on my skin long and the sillage is not impressive either, but the scent as such is beautiful indeed. I wish it was ten times more intense!

Very very nice. First when put on a little shocking, was searching for the fragrance of lilac. But the longer it stays the nicer it becomes, the flower fragrance comes out. Very gentle and sweet.

Please bring it back! I went through four bottles of this during my university years. It had such a beautiful lilac note, fresh and not indolic. 💜

best lilas on the market. unfortunately discontinued. but a diligent search online will net you one.

Since some years I live in a country with a tropical climate. So especially during spring time I find myself missing all the fragrant lilac bushes which are so abundant in my home country and give the season a very characteristic scent. This is why this has just become my current favorite spring time post shower fragrance. Even far away from home it puts me in the spirit of the season and uplifts my mood instantly. It's a very nice slightly soapy yet mild lilac fragrance. Applied right after my shower I can perceive it wafting around me for an hour or so, if I don't move out into the humid heat that is, in which case it vanishes in no time. For me that's fine though, because I'll usually apply a stronger fragrance before moving out anyway. So for what it's worth, for me sitting in the humid heat this is a lovely even if short lived reminder of home. I can imagine it to be a wonderful clean spring time fragrance for European weather though, especially for people who are not into strong perfumes. A bonus point is that it's very affordable. Strong like from me.

I have had this perfume for over 2 years now and I only use it in the summer. It's a summer scent. When you first spray it, you can only smell pure lilas. I didn't like it very much because it seemed like that was all. But in the dry down, it started smelling great! I kept smelling my wrist, but unfortunately, it's really really soft and poor. You can only smell this perfume when you're nose is like 1cm away from the skin where it's sprayed on.. So if you want to impress someone by walking them by with this perfume, choose another perfume, this is not the one you're looking for. You can barely smell it. It's completely gone after 2 hours. But like I said, I use it in the summer, during my exams when I just want to be natural and I don't really care about my looks and I don't put any make up on. This perfume really suits at such times. So my conclusion : Summer perfume, very very soft, and a very natural perfume you wear when you are going for a walk in the summer or something. It also feels very..happy and light..

This smells... lilac Thanks for reading my review. ... I mean, the GENUINE lilac. Not the toilet freshener lilac. Not the fabric softener lilac . Not a cheap old-fashioned lilac cologne . Just LILAC, people ! The lilac from the garden behind my grandmother's house that I looked forward to sniffing every year, bending the branches until they broke (oops... I didn’t do it !). The staying power isn't great, but it's an “eau fraîche”... Ideal for spraying yourself after a shower or before going to sleep. Yes, I'm one of those weird people who wear perfume to go to bed, what you gonna do ? It is to be deplored that Yves Rocher has abandoned this beautiful soliflore from the "un matin au jardin" series as well as its cute, very photogenic bottles. I also still haven't healed of the disappearance of "agrumes en fleurs" which remained in the catalog for even less time for a mysterious reason.

A tart tangy green opening, sour citrus more than leaves and stems. This lasted a good twenty minutes, and was not pleasant, although not unpleasant, just sour and astringent. Just when I was thinking i really didn't want this to go on another minute, the green cloud went poof! (it didn't dissipate so much as it disappeared) and i found myself smack in the middle of a garden filled with blooming lilacs. Quite realistic and natural lilac. this is a soft, gentle fragrance that wears close and lasts about four hours on me. I will retry this in warmer weather, when I suspect it will bloom more fully on my skin. A beautiful powdery drydown.

I have this fragrance ... it is gorgeous -- soft and delicate, young and feminine, very natural-smelling to my nose (yet a welcome echo of old-fashioned scented soap), and with a gentle green note. Puts you in the very presence of a lilac bush in bloom. Does not seem to last long on my skin (30 minutes), but staying power on fabric is at least four days: I spray my sweaters and hair to make the scent last longer. (It probably remains on skin too, but I can't smell it after a while) This appears to have replaced Yves Rocher's Pur Desir de Lilas, so now my desire to own a YR lilac scent has been satisfied.

I was really surprised I liked this one a LOT. It probably reminds me of my childhood home where there used to be a lilac bush. This scent just screams summer! It's a very nice lilac, very realistic, as mentioned before. But it isn't anything more then lilac. Just straight, linear lilac. It has some green notes to give it an even intenser spring/summer feel, but that's it. But it's such a happy fragrance. Girly, irresponsable, just summer in a bottle. I normally don't like soliflores, but I might make an exeption for this little beauty.

I've tried all the floral scents from this line and this is by far the most long lasting. That being said it's still very light! I'm must be one of the few that really enjoys the green notes on top, I wish they would stick around longer. The rest of the fragrance is very clean and soft. It smells like pretty lilac with a touch of soap (the resin note? maybe?). It's very clean and comforting. I have noticed myself gravitating to this one on days when I feel unwell, or just want something comforting and clean.

It's like childhood in a bottle. My grandparents used to have so many lilacs growing in their yard. It was magical when they blossomed in June. The scent was so wonderful. Lilas Mauve smells pretty much like that. It's fresh, innocent, natural and just plain lovely. It's inoffensive and easy to wear. Perfect for summer. It has this old fashioned vibe, which I truly like. (I think it's a single note juice, thus the listing is faulty. No resins here, what so ever.)

I don't hate it or love it. I like it. A good, simple, quite light fragrance. Reminds me of spring days on the countryside. The main note is clearly the lilac. It has personality but not a very loud one. I'd recommend this for an old soul; your mother or grandmother. Not very fresh or exciting but it does have enough strength and depth at the core to be of good quality. Mediocre lasting.

I've allready written a review for this lovable powdery lilac perfume, but I wanted to add something. This smells awesome (!) layered with Mitsouko EdT (I know, it's blasphemy, but it really works). It enhances Mitsouko's warmer side. There is of course a lilac note in Mitsouko, but I think it's also the powderiness in Lilas Mauve that makes this combination work.

This is (as far as I know) an upgrade from the previous version, but not necessarily an improvement of the scent. To me it smells less of lilacs than Pur Desir did. I have bought two bottles and used it when I was younger, but I definitely had to reapply three times a day. That being said, I liked using it before I stepped into the adult world of perfumes.

Second review, though not technically one: I've discovered this layers very well with Yves Rocher Cedre Bleue (with an optional smidge of The Body SHop's Moringa body butter). I don't know what to call the resulting nebula of fragrance, but I know for sure that it smells heavenly, and lovely to wear to bed. Drifting to sleep on a gentle pastel cloud.

I bought it this summer, and I'm glad I did! When you don't really want a heavy perfume that gives you and the people around you headaches, and you like the smell when you're walking into a garden full of flowers, this is the smell for you. Yes, it is kind of a "light" perfume, but it just makes you feel good. It's perfect for in the summer!

This is a nostalgic scent for me, it reminds me of being a kid playing in the yard with the smell of lilacs wafting all around me, ahh.. it's very green, crisp and fresh. Not much more to say about it - it does exactly what it should, it's pleasant, and is the perfect springtime scent.

Lilacs as lilacs are supposed to smell! Very clean, very fresh, very delicate! Pure lilacs in a bottle! The lastingpower is quite poor, but this edt in combination with the showergel and bodylotion is perfect to maintain your ''just hopped out of the shower'' feeling a little longer!

I used to wear it back in 2018, as I really enjoy likac scent. It reminded me of some sort of a childhood perfume I owned and sprayed barbies with. It is rarher one-dimensional, and different people around me asked if someone sprayed a toilet freshener around..

Previous lilac fragrance Pur Desir de Lilas by Yves Rocher was much better like natural lilac scent. This one is a disappointment after it. Not natural and long-lasing enough.

Lilac and green notes are prominent, I wish it should be more powdery and milky because the green note is too much. It's nice, fresh and soft, kind of skinscent anyway.

Not a bad floral fragrance, but not TRULY reminiscent of lilac bushes (I know, I have one right in my yard). Also very fleeting and light - more like a body spray?

Absolutely one of the best true lilac scents out there--I love it for that. However the longevity and sillage are so weak that it breaks my heart.

Nice fragrance. But I still miss Pur Desir de Lilas because this scent doesn't keep longer than cca. 45 minutes. Not even on my clothes.

Try it at store.. so lovely pure & soft floral scent. So i bought it. Give another try at home. All i can smell is Toothpaste scent :(

This scent is a soft and inoffensive floral, so weak that it's impossible to overspray. A good scent to give to a very young girl.

Authentic lilac scent, light, fresh and alluring. Later it gets thicker, but if you like resins, it should not be a problem.

A really cute floral smell, that is gone before you know it. Generally I quite like Yves Rocher flower scents and this one is very pretty too. But sadly it won't last even an hour or so. I'm so sad about that because it smells like a spring fairy tale garden, so green and so lilac. Other than that it's just very inoffensive and extremely light, lacking in character I would say.

I’m angry at this perfume, because it replaced the best Lilac I’ve ever smelt and wasn’t even close to the original :( it’s still a nice lilac, I won’t deny it, but if one smelt the Pur Desir version - nothing compares to it. And that’s why it was a disappointment for me. Also, poor longevity and sillage.

It's certainly one of the lightest fragrances I've tried. My skin just absolutely soaked it up and it was gone in a flash. What's left is the faintest idea of fresh lilac rubbed against the skin. Pleasant, but not remotely what I want from a perfume. 4.5/10

I got this for my mom since she loves lilacs. It’s realistic and smells nice. Though it doesn’t last long or project much.
