Mon Evidence

I tested this in a shop, quite eager after seeing the notes. For some reason though, I get no Coco Mademoiselle or Miss Dior from this. To me, Mon Evidence smells like moist, mushy, slightly mouldy bread. I can't possibly understand why. I wanted to like this, since it was created by two perfumers I admire very much, but sadly it is not for me. I hope no one else gets to have the same olfactory experience as I did. However, I must admit that I love the woody cap of the bottle - such an elegant touch! Later edit: Wow, I must've got a bad batch, because I tested this once again in an Yves Rocher shop and this time around it was amazing! Still no Coco Mademoiselle or Miss Dior for me, but overall a really pleasing, non-offensive scent. Rosey vanilla and patchouli emerge beautifully on my skin. The sillage and longevity are okay - nothing to write home about, nor to complain about. I'm so glad I gave this another shot! Final edit: I gave in and bought this - and I am so glad I did! I sprayed this before I went to sleep and the scent was heavenly and even better than what I remembered. On my skin, the rose and vanilla transform into an eerie candy note, which I love. The patchouli is there as well, from start to finish. This perfume is a cosy autumn heaven and a big compliment-getter. And to think that the first time I tested this all I could feel was mouldy bread... What a journey! P.S.: It would be a good idea not to use this when the temperatures outside are above 15 degrees Celsius. I did and the sweetness was overpowering.

First time I tried Mon Evidence, its patcholuli has immediately reminded me of Miss Dior EdP (I didn't have the chance to smell Mon Cherie by the way, so can not make a comparison). As I'm not into sweet patchouli scents, I didn't pay much attention. But after I had left the store, a beautiful rose-strawberry combination brightened with citrus has started to blow my nose. At this point, that berry note -not listed but definitely there-, convinced me that it could be a lighter summer alternative for my beloved Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming. The more I sniff my arm, the more I liked it and went back to store to purchase. Mon Evidence projects in the begining and then settles. It's a well-blended perfume in its price range, but not as long lasting as Absolutely Blooming. As I do not expect a summer scent to last for ages, I don't consider this as a problem. Additional review: I forgot my bottle in my office drawer during the pandemic and it took 1.5 years to come back from online working to workplace again. After two hot summers and a winter, the perfume has turned but in a good way. First seconds are still a bit harsh and synthetic, but rest is fuller, stronger and longer lasting now.

Once a year I would get the itch to update my small collection of fragrances. I wanted something fruity-ish. Prior to Mon Evidence, I found a lot of fruity fragrances to smell synthetic - even the ones from brands on par with Yves Rocher. I was in luck because then I found this. I agree with a number of people on here saying this EDP is similar to Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle. I think Mon Evidence is sweeter and fresher than Coco Mademoiselle. Firstly, I'd like to say that I love the packaging of Mon Evidence - very simple, very chic. Whenever I use this, I pick up strong whiffs of floral and fruity notes that are calmed by a sugary vanilla note upon drydown. I don't detect any bitterness in the drydown too. I think Mon Evidence is good for all occasions, but leaning towards the formal side because the projection of the scent makes damn sure that other people are aware of your presence (I see what you did there, Yves Rocher). UPDATE: This scent makes my mouth water, this means the fruity notes work so well for me! If this ever gets discontinued, I will be very sad. Officially one of my favourites! <3

The opening of Mon Evidence really reminds me of Miss Dior Cherie. I never had MDC, so this is based on memories of testing it in store 14 years ago, therefore don't expect an exact dupe. I can't really remember the drydown, but I think that was different, this doesn't smell like caramel/popcorn at all. I don't see a lot of resemblance to Coco Mademoiselle, Mon Evidence is much sweeter and not as sharp. And it doesn't smell like anything else from the Evidence line which I usually dislike because of the soapiness. Anyways, I can smell the rose, clean patchouli and mandarin in this, but also a very clear unlisted strawberry note. The drydown is creamy and fresh with vanilla and jasmine and still some hints of the fruity-rosy topnotes and patch. I like to wear this right now in the springtime, but I could imagine that it would work year round. Really pretty and girly, good performance, versatile, what's not to love?

Yves Rocher Mon Evidence – What an intriguingly playful first sniff! On the initial spray, I get a sweet, almost gourmand impression—yummy and cozy—but it fades rather quickly. After about 10 minutes, the scent shifts to a sour citrus brightness. I don’t notice pear directly, but I suspect it adds sparkle to the overall composition. Jasmine is completely absent to my nose, which I’m happy about since I’m not a fan of it standing alone. The rose, however, plays a steady role throughout all stages, soft yet persistent. I can’t judge the sillage properly since I was alone when wearing it, and as for longevity, it’s too early to say—this was my very first wear, and excitement made me less patient. Still, what a fun and delightful fragrance to experience!

It is safe to say that this is the most complimented scent I've ever owned. Some days I even wonder what smells so damn good until I realise it's actually me with Mon Evidence on. It is subtle, yet strong, straight forward, yet complex, fresh and cosy. The opening has a strawbery jam vibe to me, then the roses come up. This is a rose bush actually, sometimes sweet and fresh, sometimes sultry and solemn. The dry down is warm and comforting with vanilla and some mossy patchouli. I find it very long lasting and the projection is pleasant. I like wearing it in colder weather and for me ME qualifies as a signature. It is very similar to the older versions of Miss Dior Cherie, but MDC is a bit more musky.

I love the mandarin in this one, very, very pretty. Now, if they would have made it doubly strong on the mandarin this would have been the bomb! The vanilla is not overpowering which I really like, the patchouli is demure and nice and the flowers are quiet and lovely. The pear and peach combo stands out, to me, more than the floral notes. Now, if that pretty mandarin would just have been stronger... It is a nice perfume, actually quite nice, but it doesn't last.

Thank you Fragrantica reviewers! I've been on a hunt for a fragrance that would remind me of the Miss Dior Cherie nostalgia...and the first whiff of Mon essence really takes me back! It opens like MDC but it doesn't develop as MDC, but rather like Coco Mademoiselle. I believe it was heavily inspired by those fragrances. Great find, especially for the price (30 EUR is a bargain).

Sweet sweet pink airy mandarin. The patchouli and a simple vanilla hold the mix in a delicate (green ? sometimes even slightly minty ??) embrace. Nothing too much, nothing missing, it matches perfectly my chemistry and my lifestyle. Such an evidence, since 2018, and an instant (and longlasting!) love. For me one of the best fragrances for its price.

To me is really similar with Miss Dior Cherie, also a bit like Oriens by Van Cleef. Nothing to do with Coco Mademoiselle. It's way more lush, almost chocolaty. Long lasting, I sprayed a little at 20:00, and when i woke up at 07:00 i could still smell it on me. Perfect for cooler weather, decently priced. Great job Yves Rocher!

My first reaction when I smelled the scented tissue...its Miss Dior!!! Cant stop sniffing...have ordered a purse spray...I am pretty sure it will suit my skin as I like miss Dior a lot and love CCM...lets see how it works for me ..will update soon :)

A simple but elegant fragrance, the patchouli and vanilla shine through the most, giving the fragrance as fresh yet creamy quality. It has a Miss Dior/ Coco Mademoiselle vibe about it. Strength and longevity are good, about 4-5 hours. Simply divine!

Miss Dior Cherie The same Rose, Patchouli, Mandarin Combo and something in it reminds of Strawberry, Popcorn or Chocolate. Fresh, Fruity and Gourmand at the same time. Believe it or not but this could easily be a Miss Dior 2019!

In some ways, I prefer this one to to La Vie Est Belle. Mon Amour is comparable to La Vie Est Belle. I appreciate this one so much! It has a lovely dry down too. The combination of rose, vanilla and patchouli is addictive!

This is my favorite affordable perfume of all time <3 A sweet diamond. I have Miss Dior edt too, Mon Evidence is more sweeter and easy to love & wear. The perfect spring & summer perfume.

The dry down of YSL Mon Paris is extremely similar to this perfume. I don't think is a coincidence, both are Mon and they share 7 notes. It's gorgeous, feminine and elegant ✨🌸

I’ll admit I only purchased this to avoid the astronomical private seller prices to replace my 2005 Miss Dior Cherie. I find it a worthy replacement, extremely similar

At first sniff from the Yves Rocher store, all I could smell is a bunch of pink roses which is so tinglingly sweet, I though of it as a pink peony meanwhile patchouli got me stunned within it grasped. I love patchouli but sometimes it is too medicinal or herby which makes me felt dizzy at times. But this, this one’s patchouli isn’t the strong loud scent but a more timid yet outspoke. The patchouli is breezy enough to use in hot humid weather such as summertime in Thailand. So I give it a vote for summer fragrance since in Thai there is no spring. The scent is not at all offensive and everyone actually likes it! I am surprised since everyone in my life hates fragrances as if all of them are “too strong” (even tho it was something like really light and fresh) or outright called it disgusting. (I once wore a decant of Tiffany&Co&Love Woman and they just outright said what smell is that eww....yes I am hurt by that but it doesn’t stop me from loving fragrances at all) The projection is large but the silage is very weak...? Which I am glad but find it surprising for me. Also this was my first fragrances which I used my own money to buy as a high schooler 2 years ago. I am proud and not regret any baht I spent. It was pretty average in term of prices, not super expensive and not underwhelmingly cheap. A perfect 899฿(~27$) spent for a young feminine guy who doesn’t yet have a sustainable or stable income like me. edit ; there is one thing I needed to say is that the bottle cap (the old one aka. the one in the picture) is loose and tends to fall off a lot.

Renewed text. Testing day 3. Pleasurable, modern receptions' & hallways' scent... Flowers. Watery, mild, soft, light & lightful. Slightly sweet. Airy and flowery breath of air. I found it (not good) in the first test. That was because the perfume is/felt like randomly mixed 2 mild perfumes. So, felt a bit like a cheap-soft-fiasco - but wait, it's quite not. A voyage on a big ship, when summer is still cool and is beginning to bloom. This reminds very much of Coty's Eau Masumi (1993), [that was a mild perfume, and more like ship premisies' modern smells, almost even tobacco-trails included.] This is more like of flowers & plants. But same kind. I was about to find a hint of old times' jewing gum scent, when the perfume had dried properly. I'd love that, and wish I'll sense it again. (Hardly there is such.) But it may get just a bit sweeter on the skin, nice & pretty. Anyway, sweetness is not much. Flowery-airy / wind-light. The perfume doesn't disturb you, it's that mild and fades.

I just got this for a bargain on eBay. Smells great. A little young for me (and I'm 38, so go figure). Reminds me of the 90s/early 2000s somehow and I'm not sure why. Maybe it's that overly sweet note. I wish there was more patchouli to bring this high sweet note down to earth, but it's okay. Definitely smells nice. #1 issue I have is that within 20 minutes, I could no longer smell it on myself and it had zero projection. Only way to smell it was to actually stick my wrist up to my nose. I'll do a few more sprays tomorrow and hope it sticks. The bottle is too big to be carrying around all day for touchups. Came back to edit to say that it slightly reminds me of a more mellow L.A.M.B. by Gwen Stefani. That was my favorite perfume in the early 2000s. It might be the peach or pear note. Now the smell of something so sweet really turns me off.

I’ve finally tested Mon Evidence, and it is very similar to Comme un Evidence L’Eau de Parfum Intense. It’s a typical Olivier Cresp creation: sweet, vanillic, fruity, gourmandy, with very prominent patchouli. Other reviewers have compared it to Coco Mademoiselle and Miss Dior Cherie, but I’d say that Mon Evidence is what one would get if they mixed 1/3 of Coco Mademoiselle with 2/3 of Angel! It’s got that unmistakeable Angel-like caramelised patchouli, elevated by mandarine orange and a sweet jammy rose. Mon Evidence lasts about 6 hours and projects much better than some fragrances that are 10 times more expensive. In the final analysis, this one is a tad too sweet and fruity for my liking, but it’s a very well made fragrance that would make a perfect gift for young girls.

I like many perfumes from YR and just when I discovered Mon Evidence, it turns out YR are closing in the UK!!!! . I agree that Mon evidence smells similar to the various Miss Dior's and CMM, unfortunately I can't wear CMM (due to associations). Miss Dior I like but have to wear sparingly otherwise it nearly 'chokes' me after one spray. Mon Evidence does not have that effect on me, but still has good longevity. I have a 15ml bottle and will enjoy that whilst it lasts. Update: wore this today and my son who usually says everything and everyone stinks, said you smell nice!! I then sprayed Miss Dior on him and he said Mon Evidence was better and said he could hardly smell MD it was too mild??

This was a nice suprise as I am not a big fan of patchouli but here it is executed very nicely despite it being the second strongest note, it gives this earthy, wet and warm ground feel but is not too strong (with 2 sprays hah) Might be best for fall, maybe even winter as the rose and citrus gives this crisp aspect which I think could compliment sunny snowy days, will have to try out. I can't see wearing this everyday or even a whole day as it is quite overwhelming in the long run, also not for enclosed spaces or hot weather (please don't be that person) but would be lovely for walks and dates in the open air.

At first, I didn't like it. I got it as a gift from Yves Rocher and didn't expect much, since I've never been a fan of rose scents. I opens with floral, sweet and fresh notes, which sounds lovely, but I have never been fond of floral perfumes. Therefore, I considered it a perfume-when-I-want-to-wear-one-but-don't-want-to-use-my-favourite-more-expensive-ones. However, I wore it a couple of times at work and let it work with my natural chemistry, and all I have to say is that I take back what I said - now I like it! After a while, it becomes deeper, more mature, and the floral scents, to me, mostly disappear.

Mon Evidence was the very first perfume I ever bought and back then, I only wore it when going out or going on dates. It's girly, smelling like a bed of flowers during spring or summer. Strong notes of rose and vanilla. It reminds me of fun, careless times with friends. Youthful, playful, sweet and light. Nothing I would wear again after a few years of growing up. But it still takes a special place in my heart and sometimes I open the bottle to bring back memories of mild summer nights where nothing really mattered except for having a good time.

This is one of those cheapies that smell crazy expensive. I only detect a quality scent without any artificial ingredients, and like many others are mentioning, it is a safe blind buy if you like Miss Dior Mon Cherie, Coco Mademoiselle or anything around that area. The only problem is longevity on me. Unfortunately, it does not project after 30 min and it completely disappears after 2 hours, so I would have to constantly reapply :( I am not regretting buying it because it was a great deal, but will not repurchase.

Earlier today, a sales assistant at my local Yves Rocher store tried to convince me that Mon Evidence is not a new scent, but the exact same Comme une Evidence, only repackaged. Obviously, I didn’t believe her... I’m gonna have to revisit that store in a few days and hope to meet a better informed SA. Those of you who have tested the new Mon Evidence, can you tell me the main differences between this flanker and the pillar (CuE)? Thanx!

At first spritz I smell citrus and also a slight bitterness, rose and vanilla and I think I'm catching some of the patchouli too. It's a pretty scent. I get the comparison with Coco Mademoiselle. Having CM, I'm not sure if I want to keep this. Obviously t's not as good as CM, but it can act as a replacement and still smells refined. The longevity is quite bad for me - around 2.5 hours or even less than that.

If you like all the fruitchouli types of scents like: Miss Dior, LVEB, Coco Mademoiselle, might as well try this one too. The citrus is more prominent, which makes it usable also during hot weather. Honestly, this kind of perfume DNA is starting to get overused because people are overspraying. It takes away all the joy in smelling a nice scent.

Mon Evidence is a fragrance with a very good, sensual and strongly feminine character. Rose, Patchouli and mandarin followed by Peach, Pear and Vanilla. In my nose, non-existent Jasmine (luckily since I'm not a big fan of this flower). Mild sigh of bergamot accompanying all the time vanilla and peach. Another masterpiece of YR! Recommended.

Just tried it in the store and its funny because the comments I see here it's exactly what I got on first impression: Coco mademoiselle! And since I love Coco Mademoiselle well of course I had to get a bottle of this one so I bought it. Edit: love the smell and dry down but no sillage or longevity on my skin

I'm pleasantly surprised by this fragrance. I received a free sample in my order and when I tried it I immediately thought of Miss Dior /Miss Dior Cherie and Mon Paris. The patchouli, sweet pear and rose shares a strong resemblance. Great affordable alternative if you are a fan of YSL and Dior.

I must say I was very impressed with this perfume. It is very well blended and it lasts forever, especially on clothes. I would say it reminds me of a more tame and less sweet “La vie est belle”. I just didn’t find myself reaching for it so often.

It's not a bad fragrance, reminds me of other perfumes in the sweet floral category (La Vie Est Belle and Miss Dior Cherie). But wears off quickly. Definitely has that underlying Yves Rocher scent that every one of their fragrances seem to have.

On me this smells like rose scented lotion. I'm not usually into rose scents but I like this one. A delicate creamy smell, not loud or offensive. Can be worn daily doing errands or to the office. Can't see why anyone wouldn't like this one.

I smell roses, mandarine and patchouli. The sillage and the longevity are correct. I prefer miss Dior, but in fact you can see some similarities for a very low cost. 7/10 for me, for all seasons, good value but I do not love it

I kinda like it, but there is like a bread smell. It’s a good spring scent nonetheless, fresh, not so heavy, floral but maybe too much patchouli hence that weird bread 🥖 scent.

My friend gifted me this, and it smells like Nina Ricci’s Nina Fantasy perfume I used to wear as a child. I love it. It feels so nostalgic.

I blind bought a full bottle of this during a sale in Yves Rocher for being a dupe (allegedly) for Miss Dior Cherie. To me, it smells like a sweet citrus juice mixed with rose water. However, I find the patchouli here too earthy like a wet soil. Fortunately, Mon Evidence dries down to rose petals glazed with vanilla extract - a pretty refreshing scent. I never wear this alone. It can be too sweet for my liking. I tone it down it by layering a musky or white floral fragrance. An overspray can induce headaches. You will get that unpleasant plastic-y rose scent. Quite long lasting on clothes but weak sillage. I don't mind keeping this until I ran out. Will definitely not repurchase. Not worth paying for full price.

I bought this perfume because I love Yves Rocher fragrances, and the original Evidence used to be one of my favorites. Since I enjoy florals, I thought this would be a safe choice. For me, it was just okay. It wasn’t very long-lasting and didn’t project as well as the original Evidence or Evidence Intense. Because of that, it didn’t really stand out to me. I never repurchased it and don’t plan to in the future. To me, it felt like a weaker version of the original Evidence. I still used it, but it’s not something I would buy or wear again

Alot of people are comparing this to Miss Dior (I think I’ve smelled it once or twice but have no memory of it) but if you’re one of those people who thinks Daisy by Marc Jacobs is basic, this is definitely for you. They go together so well and make you smell like a fresh bouquet. I don’t care for this on its own that much but anything floral or citrus with this is amazing

Blind bought this hoping for a sweeter, fruitier spin on my favorite perfume, Miss Dior Cherie (2005-2008 version). And that's kind of what Mon Evidence seems to be going for, but the result isn't enjoyable to me at all. Having worn MDC exclusively for the past couple months I can tell you Mon Evidence is definitely not a dupe, so if you're looking for a replacement, this will not satisfy you. But if you like that citrus-rose-patchouli composition and synthetic sugary sweetness, then you'd probably like this. I'd recommend sampling it first though. At first spray It's most similar to MDC, but once the initial burst of mandarin orange fades, which it does very quickly on me, it's sort of like a younger, more basic, much cheaper, sweeter cousin to MDC with more fruit and iced roses. MDC is somewhat sweet, but in the way a fresh ripe strawberry smells naturally juicy sweet. Whereas this is sweet in a syrupy artificial way like a strawberry candy. This smells like a Bath and Body Works scent (nothing inherently wrong with that) whereas MDC smells like, well.. a Dior perfume. However it's not entirely fair to compare the two since their price points are very different. If you like sweet fruity florals I'd say this is worth testing. If you want a cheap MDC I recommend the clone from Eden Perfumes, "Miss Cherry", although it's not quite the same, but definitely closer than this.

Mon Evidence opens with sweet, juicy orange notes with some off-putting plastic-y rose and a cloud of patchouli. It is a thin and fairly linear scent. The patchouli is discordant, slightly unpleasant instead of providing a nice counterpoint to the sweetness. Synthetic vanilla becomes more prominent as the orange notes fade, and some peach creeps in, providing more sugary sweetness.The rose and patchouli accords soften, but remain for almost two hours until it fades into a vanilla skin scent. Sillage and longevity are both fairly weak. I am a fan of both perfumers, but presumably they were working within a tight budget to produce this run-of-the-mill sweet floral/fruity in the vein of La Vie Est Belle. Not to my taste, but definitely has mass-market appeal. 1/5.

OK, I didn't know what I disliked so much about this perfume, but I noticed recently that I have almost the same reaction to Miss Dior and Coco mademoiselle... Now I know: it's when patchouli, rose and citrus are co-dominant that I'm annoyed, and that's often the case in chypre perfumes. I find this combo too strong for my nose! It puts me off. I think I prefer rose and patchouli alone with rather sweet notes, but this is far from a chypre scent. Personal opinion: 3/10. But that's just me! I know that this perfume will please many people, especially fans of chypre. I think the only chypre perfume that I can stand is "Si" from Giorgio Armani.

I don't like this one, which is surprising coming from someone who generally appreciates évidence lineup. It smells just bad. Like something burning. Maybe patchouli and vanilla ought not to go together. The vanilla in here is way stronger than I prefer. The result is something rather sharp, pungent, and cheap-smelling. Luckily, I got this one for free from Yves Rocher. I'll give it to someone I know as a gift.

The opening was a reminiscent of YSL Mon Paris. I almost got the same berry smell. The dry down tho, smells like cherry candy, sugary sweet, yummy, mouth watering, almost like toffee and cute. I know cherry is not listed in the notes. But I can smell it. I can imagine a teenage girl of 15 wearing this as her first perfume.🍒

Sweet, fruity, floral. For me the rose is the most prominent note, but it definitely has a very citrus-y vibe as well. Ultra girly, not very complex. While it's not a dupe for La Vie Est Belle, I think this would appeal a lot to those who love that fragrance.
