Appears the soliflore simpleton, but isn't. At all. I will devote some time finding out the offical notes, coz just muguet is not what my nose picks up here. There's a woody backdrop with musks and some less prim flowers too. As with many (vintage) YR fragrances, you get a lot more than you see. More complexity and depth. Here also a great balancing act between flowers and soap and a very decent longevity. Just scrumptious! Will come back when I find out more...

According to basenotes.net muguet des bois has grapefruit on top, iris, jasmine and LOV in the heart and tonka bean as a base. No woods, no musks? To me the breakdown sounds a lot less rich and complex than what I'm actually smelling... a nice example of less is more?

This is a little treasure that I love. I first sniffed it at a mall in Mallorca, and I fell in love with it when the lady gave us a spritz on both my mum and I. I loved it so much that I convinced my mum to pop in in Yves Rocher and get a full bottle of this. (There were an early version with a bottle with cap and a later one with an atomizer). When I smell it I still remember that day (20 years ago aprox.) To me it smells fresh and green and towards the drydown it smells more aromatic with a hint of lily of the valley. I have seen a new reformulation but I haven't smelled it yet to be able to compare them both.
