Nature

NATURE was my signature perfume for many years, I used 2 bottles 50ml (splash), and I had deodorants and bodyloitons, and I loved it so very much. It was a perfect blend with my skin. Nature was "Nature", I could walk for ours with my dog at the mountains, and I was in one with the nature. The smell is so intoxicating, I can never get enough of this beautiful scent, it's the lily-of-the-wally, and it's the mose, it's the sjasmin and freesia, holy moly... I quit smoking for 9 years ago, and gave away all of my perfumes, about 30, because everything smelled to much for me, and my beloved Nature also went... I've been greefing and crying "why", I just could have stored them on the loft, stupid me..... But than tings happened, suddenly 3 dispensers turned up from nowhere - - - and one of them contains about 7ml of Nature, I'm in the seventh heaven! Now I have spent some ours sniffing and sniffing my dearest NATURE. I tasted some beer and white-wine, have been reading and seeing pictures from La Gacilly, thinking: -I must travel more! Nature: 10/10

For you ladies wondering what the difference is in the differing versions of Nature, here is my take on the matter: Nature EDP (still sold, I am not sure if they changed the formula. I am reviewing the vintage). This is a moist green, but with a floral heart. Soft floral but very fresh, like it has been raining just a few minutes before inhaling this gem Nature EDT vintage: this is the VERTICAL Nature. This is a very strong sweet green. I detect a heart of honeyish Galbanum. So we are not talking about a lighter version of the EDP, not at all!! Nature Eau Fraiche: this is a rare item, vintage formulation. This is a lighter version of the Nature EDT. It goes in the manner of a melon green of the sort. This could be considered a lighter version of the EDP as well. Desir de Nature: This one is sold as the EDT nowadays. I do not have it and I cannot remember smelling it. I think it is in the database here, so you can look there for some input. Good luck! Action

Hi Enchantia! You are sooo right, Nature gives me the same calming feeling you describe!! My explanation for that is that they added a note in this perfume, that resembles the GREEN feeling I remember from my youth. That is the same reason it is my favorite green perfume ever. Of course I adore the classics like Scherrer original too, but nothing touched my green memory like this!! Then about your question, being discontinued. Actually, it can still be bought in Edp concentration. I dare not say if they changed that formula, but the bottle looks the same. The EDT concentration however is, as far as I know, replaced by the Desir de Nature. Good luck!! Action

I always loved this one. It was the one I took on vacations because it was such a favourite. I haven't had it in years and then I lucked out today. I found someone selling a large bottle more than half full online locally for $5! It looks to be from the 1990's with the name Plaisirs de Nature in script writing. Oh how I've missed it! Very floral, clean, a bit green but still quite dense. It's not an airy green freshy like a lot are now. It's a really good everyday scent, easily a signature.

This used to be my no.1 fave in Yves Rocher fragrances back in the 90's. The bottle gives a good hint of what to expect from the liquid inside, which is just like fresh and pure morning dew mixed with delicate white flowers. Nature is very feminine, harmonious, refreshing and tender; just as a slow walk through the woods during a beautiful and sunny day in midsummer. Excellent!
