Plein Soleil

This perfume is pure luminous tuberose. The sandalwood and cardamom in here give it a surprising creaminess and ylang ylang makes it a fragrance for those spring or summer days when you don't want to overwhelm your nose. Although it is a very linear perfume (what you smell at the beginning you smell all day long), I must say that it is my favorite from Yves Rocher and from their Eaux de Parfum collection. Every time I use it, someone always points out the tuberose. It reminds me a lot of the school chapel I used to go to as a child and maybe that's why I like it so much. The name "Plein Soleil" suits this fragrance perfectly. Although it does not have a great lasting power, it's enough for me on the skin, ideal for going out or for a day party. It's very rich and not offensive on the nose. This is my second bottle now, and I would love to always have it in my collection.

What a delight this perfume is! The more I wear it the more I enjoy it! I love 4 things in particular: 1. A pleasant evolution on my skin, which is very rare for me in general! 2. Excellent longevity (6 hrs +). 3. Even in a very hot weather, the smell remains the same! 4. You never get tired of it because its olfactory notes don't perform all together, but keep alternating! coconut, sandalwood, cardamom, tuberose, jasmine, yellow flowers, milk, orange blossom! A perfume to wear in any season, but especially in summer. I clearly smell a coconut note in it so I'm surprised it's not listed! It reminds me of Soleil Blanc by Tom Ford and a liittle bit of Pure XS by Paco Rabanne, but the latter is more complex, especially with the salted butter popcorn note. However, I find that it is not similar to My Way, except for the Tuberose note. 8.5/10

I like this a lot, but i love the entire line! My least fave would be autotaur de minuit. My fave is prob sable fauvre and close second voile d ochre. But this i like more than i expected. I like this line far more evidence i think, but both are good. That smells good, but performance poor on those imho. This smells bright and clean and not overpowering. Id get it again! Update: i fell hard for this over the last few months. I thought sable fauve was my fave, or voile de ochre, but it changed to this! I love to wear this to bed, after a shower. It is very comforting, pretty, feminine, but not too cloying or overwhelming. This is actually far more complex than i originally thought, it took me time to wear and fully appreciate it. I just bought a back up bottle bc i like it that much.

Green tuberose with faint cedar and a wisp of cardamon. It took me a while to figure out what this reminds me of--and then the nickle dropped---Love's Soft Jasmin--which is itself a pale shadow of the original Love's Musky Jasmin Flower from my college days--also Gucci Bloom---but way less obvious. I can also pick up YR's own Tendre Jasmin. I love Jasmin and tuberose--but I thought this blend might be more like Fracas or Bond #9's "I love NY for Earth Day"---one of the best green tuberose scents ever but SO damn over priced!! Still---this is a soft fresh floral with a clean cedar drydown--I will see if this is still on sale next month and maybe pick up a bigger bottle if it is!!

Good oriental floral gem with a lot of facets. Opening gives you a bunch of spiced, nutty gardenia with a hint of bugspray note(this is like a norm to most white florals Ive owned), but later settles down into a milky, green(almost slightly fruity) tuberose scent with hints of gardenia AND lily and some woodiness that reminds us of 90's perfumes like CK Eternity. It fades with a small hint of aquatic and sweet slightly powdery notes. It smells of higher quality than its price point. Only downside is it fades too quickly to a soft skin scent, so you have to pump two sprays or so after 4 hours to boost that sillage.

I hink Yves Rocher has some hidden gems for daytime wear. They don't win in the sillage department or longevity department. With that said I wear these more like a body mist that I can refresh throughout the day. I'll say I'm partial first to this fragrance because my husband loves it. So do most men. Wear this to feel flirty but approachable. I like that I can refresh this and control the longevity and sillage of it- if not, I believe it would come off as too heavy. Best described as a candied tuberose. There is an edible quality to the cardamom and what I pick up as cinnamon. It wears very warmly on the skin.

My favourite of this line. I restricted this one for days off - so I will get the off work vibe. It is fresh and flowery and I depick some mint in it, but very softly. It has casual nonchalance. This scent has character, which is rare nowadays. Yves Rocher knows how to make good scents but they also discontinued my beloved ones - Neroli, Matin Blanc, ..... So I bought 2 bottles just in case. The only problem is bottle - nowadays it has ugly pink glass bottle, looks very cheap but smells great.

Alright, I bought it and gave to my wife - she liked it and uses it pretty frequently. Sometimes I give myself the odd spray...It took me some time to nail down this one, but after listening to Voyage Voyage by Desireless and Love Like Blood by Killing Joke, early to mid-80s hits, I realised this perfume smells like 1980s French girls, the girls who lived in my French penfriend’s town. Projection and longevity are great for us. Re-living my youth...memories and emotions. Love for me..

If happy spring/summer day was a perfume, this would be it for me. It's not all that special, brilliant or loud. it's calm, pleasant and appropriate everywhere. Now that I think of it : I only wear this when it's a little hot but I'm carefree, have no engagement, mostly when I don't want to think so much or try to make an impression. Reminds me of the summer/spring days shopping and eating alone, having the day all to my self : I love it.

I like it! Smells literally like combination of My Way + Giordani Gold Essenza (my perception at least) Probably it also has some similarity with Tendre Jasmin If you are into warm, tuberosy fragrances - this thing is for you! :) I have to update my own review: it's probably even So Scandal, very similar opening!

Reminds of something but cannot put my finger on it. Yet. For girls who like guys who like girls. By the way, there is an awful troll here giving bad reviews to multiple YR scents. Claims to be an English teacher but I wouldn’t fancy being one of her students judging by her poor grammar.

I love tuberose but I usually find it hard to wear it in summer. This bottle makes it possible. It’s not mind blowing but it puts me at ease. Not too light but also not too heavy, receives compliments from strangers. I love it for the sake of it’s tender companionship.

Summery notes as described! A fragrance that reminds me of happiness and social events! Even though I recommend this mostly for women; men, especially young men, can have it as well! A fragrance that fits very well in the bright summer heat! Love it!!

This wasn’t love at first sniff, but it really grew on me and now I love it! It smells like a manic pixie dream girl enjoying her lollipop in the park while plotting her next adventure. It even got me a compliment 🥰🥰🥰 Happy happy me!

It's a creamy floral that punches way above its weight. It's both elegant and easygoing and I love the fact that it's affordable but doesn't smell department store-y. The only downside is performance, but you can't have it all.

This is so pretty! It's a happy, sweet, creamy floral. Good performance too. Nothing beats my beloved MFK - Le Beau Parfum in this genre, but that one is sadly discontinued. This one is like its younger sister!

Creamy is the word that came to my mind when I sniffed this perfume for the first time. a little bit shampoo-y too! reminds me of Valentina by valentino minus the strawberry note.

I agree with the comment below - it is a very comforting perfume. The scent is pretty simple, but if you like floral fragrances in general, chances are you will like this.

My safezone perfume of all times. I try to change it but find myself go for it again and again. Perfect for tuberose lovers but it really has no depth nor complexity.

It’s a gorgeous creamy, sunny tuberose scent. The name “Plein Soleil” is such a great fit for the fragrance since it literally means full sun in French.

Last year, Yves Rocher sent a sample of this and the moment I smelled it I knew it was going to be my go-to summer scent. I love it.

This scent is so beautiful to me. It manages to be a true chameleon for me. It has severeal elements that reminds me of other perfumes, yet it smells unlike anything else I have smelled before. To me it opens up bright and citrussy with a green tinge to it. The green probably from the cardamom. It does not list any citrus but I do smell something like bergamot or orange. something about the fruity green opening makes me think of Pure XS by Paco rabanne... but only for a moment... it then becomes more floral as the tuberose takes over. I could swear I also smell neroli or orange blossom, but it may just be my mind associating the tuberose with those other florals, as they seem to acompany eachother in some of the fragrances I enjoy. But it does make me think of a more unisex, less sweet voce viva or Paradoxe. (they layer great with this fragrance). On my skin this retains it's greenness from the cardamom, while the sillage is more floral and sweet to me. It smells absolutely lovely to me. Great scent for everyday wear. Performance I would say is average, wich I actually prefer in an everyday scent.

I had originally bought Matin Blanc at the store, but ran back the next day to exchange it for Plein Soleil because I couldn't get the scent memory out of my head. After a year in lockdown, a big white floral was exactly the vacation I needed. Plein Soleil is a sunny day at the beach in the '90s -- floppy hat, one-piece, sunscreen and all. It opens with a beautiful blast of tuberose and actually smells like gardenia in the beginning, buttery and opulent. When I smelled it in store, I was immediately reminded of Tocca Florence, which is heavy on both. There is a woody undercurrent that keeps Plein Soleil from being too floral, though. As the scent progresses, it makes me think of Yves Rocher's own Monoi perfume, which I briefly owned a few years ago. Today I used their coconut shower gel and lotion and sprayed on Plein Soleil over it, which transported me to a place I physically can't be in at the moment. And that was the goal of this perfume, and this line. For a bottle I got at 40% off, this is an exceptionally well-blended and valuable scent. Vacation in a bottle!

Oh this is quite lovely. The composition of the notes is quite Indian. Heady tuberose and creamy sandalwood. I don't get much of Cardamom or Ylang-Ylang to be honest. The all over blend, however, is western-leaning and on the light and fresher side. Granted, there is not too much depth to it, it might as well be a bodymist, lotion or shower fragrance, but that way I feel it would just be amazing for hot summer days, when you don't really want to smell perfume-y, but just want to elevate your summer mood a bit. I feel this would smell amazing on warm, sun-kissed skin. Sillage is moderate, but might definitely vary with the temperature and amount of sprays. Longevity on me is 4ish hours. Considering that Yves Rocher regularly has very good discounts going on, I'd definitely get a bottle if it's a good deal (say, 50% off or as a freebie). No-brainer pick for the summer, if you like warm-ish yet light tuberose-sandalwood combos that is. If you prefer fruity or zesty fragrances in summer, move along.

This was a blind buy for me but it turned out to be a success, fortunately. Totally fell for the scent for it reminds me of one of my 90's favourites, Dewberry by The Body Shop. Plein Soleil is a modern, spicier and warmer version of the fragrance mentioned above and to me it smells pleasantly irresistible. Love the warm tones that suit the winter season more than well. Surprisingly long-lasting as well if spritzed onto clothing, wears off from the skin more quickly. I don't think it's a unisex thing even though the manufacturer says so, to me this is clearly a feminine fragrance altogether. I can smell tuberose but it is blended well with the other ingredients so it doesn't dominate over (which is a good thing as I kind of dislike having too much tuberose in my frags). Sophisticated and feminine in my opinion.

I always use this as base layer before putting Mancera Black to Black on top. This combo works wonderful together, superlasting yet supersillage. A bomb! You may try with other rose base parfums, it will enhance your presence. Sometimes i combine it with clean freshie oceanic Sel D'azur from the same range. Kinda experiment that really worked!! This is very cheap but its performance n quality put many niche to shame. I have the complete range. To me it performs like a stronghold of Amouage and Parco Paladiano BV range, though not as complex. Worth buying. I dont understand why some people say it doesnt perform. It works so well on me, and in fact i compare it with my niche parfums. Niche can be much worse than this cheapie. Train your nose!!!

TF's Soleil Blanc without that beautifully blended hint of coconut. On me I get dominant notes of tuberose & some ylang ylang so it obviously leans towards feminine . Picture a woman in her mid to late 20s wearing a pastel maxi dress taking a leisurely walk through blooming garden in a calming summer morning. She's free of commitment & has all day for herself . It's an inoffensive, safe , suitable for informal occasions scent like coffee date or Sunday brunch . As for the price, it's a good bang for the buck I purchased the full bottle of 100ml at $20 in an annual promotion event which take place few times per year. Yves Rocher sales happen quite often & during these their entire range of products go into huge discount.

Something about this perfume is soooo comforting. I like how the tuberose and ylang-ylang notes make this such a soft, sweet yet floral fragrance. I failed to smell the other accords mentioned. It lacks depth so it’s pretty linear, I can see how it can become boring overtime. The longevity and the sillage are good though, I got compliments about it multiple times. It’s perfect for summer and spring, definitely a 7/10.

Ohhh my allah this is beautiful !!! I was searching for this dna for a while ! I mean i found it in supreme bouquet but im not gonna pay that freaking price for this dna that i can find in yves rocher perfume...guys this smells pretty high end like it’s from a armani line or smthng and it’s freaking AFFORDABLE and smells unique in my opinion also long lasting although 8,5/10

Really lives up to its name, smelling it for the first time really made me feel like I was looking up into the bright sunshine on a warm summer day. Even if it was in the middle of December on an overcast day in Paris! It is sweet, but fresh. Perfectly fit for a warm summer holiday. It doesn’t last long on my skin, so I end up re-applying it a few times during the day.

this has a big, bold 80s tuberose out front with some cardamom and sandalwood in the back. later on i think i get some ylang ylang which softens the perfume a tiny bit but this is primarily a woody tuberose perfume. good for when one wants a bold but not indolic tuberose. it is a *little* bit screechy on me but not too bad, thankfully.

A really really nice non indolic tuberose/white flowers little thing. Very easy to wear, tastefully done but not remarkable. Could be used as an introduction to this genre, bright and a bit beachy. Not the greatest performance, but fun altogether.

It smells very beachy, slightly soapy, sweet and sunny. It's very pleasant for chill days, whether at home, running errands or meeting friends. It's unassuming.

This is really nice. Comforting and uplifting. Fresh and almost aquatic but also clean and creamy. It smells like a nice floral soap. Great choice for summer.

Upon opening, I get citrus - lemony bergamot - which isn't listed here? I suppose it's something with how the cardamom reacts with the sandalwood - ends up smelling very citrus lemony fresh. Reminds me a lot of Soleil Blanc. I really don't get tuberose from this scent at all - I mostly get the lemony sandalwood with a sweet subtle ylang ylang. The tiniest touch of tuberose, so subtle you'd be surprised to learn it was there if you didn't read the notes. If you're a tuberose fan who likes Carnal Flower or Lys 41 or those types of tuberose, this isn't anything like those. I'm actually surprised that was rated the #1 note for this perfume as it's the one I smell the least. I was initially so thrilled with the soleil blanc-like opening, I thought I finally found a good dupe. But after several subsequent wears, I've moved on from this fragrance. It vanishes too quickly for my preference - I get maybe 2 hours out of it on hot days, 4 on cooler days. Sticks close to the skin. Isn't unique, yummy, or addictive enough to make me want to keep smelling myself, I just find myself reapplying to try to make myself smell summery. Even when I reapply 10-15 sprays every 2 hrs for an entire day, I can barely smell anything on my dirty clothes the next day. My spouse has sat on our patio 3 feet from me a dozen different days when I've worn this scent and he has never noticed I was wearing any perfume at all, unless I spray coconut with this, and then he tells me I smell like coconut. Most of my perfumes will stick around on my dirty laundry for days, sometimes weeks later I can still smell a good perfume on a bra I wore for a couple hrs and never washed. This just doesn't cut it, performance wise. It's a good value and I will use up the rest of my bottle for a quick refresher, but overall this is the least exciting out of all my summer scents I've gone through. I can't make out anything unique that I like about it. I tried to layer it with coconut, which improves the fragrance, but it's still gone in under 2 hrs. It seems like the perfume is too watered down. As far as citrusy sandalwood scents with a touch of coconut, I much prefer Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche/Skinscent, which is richer, more addictive, more expensive smelling, and lasts and projects a bit more than this, at a lower price. I also bought Voile d'Ocre at the same time as I bought this scent and VdO lasts hours longer and smells great, though it's a more fall/winter spicy sandalwood scent.

I get only tuberose, ylang-ylang and coconut, despite it's not in the notes. Very creamy, beachy, suntan-lotion-y. I like the opening but the dry down is too feminine and too creamy for me. It's sweet and not bad, to be honest. Pretty strong in the first ten minutes and settles down into a coconuty scent on skin. If I were a big fan of beach fragrances, I'd love this. It's a tad too think, creamy, and feminine for me. Reminds me of Replica Beach Walk, but this one is much more reasonably priced and less offensive. Best for summer days. As far as beach scents go, I'll stick with my Oceani di Seta from Salvatore Ferragamo.

It does remind me of TF Soleil Blanc or Aerin Hibiscus Palm both of which I happen to own, however, I find it to open up way nicer than those. Definitely a summer, I'd even say beach vacation scent, very good value for the money.

Give it to my sister. Was okay for me but still feels the tuberose too heavy and sweet. Give me headache.

This smells like a more pleasant version of Tom Ford Orchid Soleil.

Test 1: Feminine. Heavy flowerish beauty. Why do I sense coconut? Woody. (Woody like spicy cut wood, not the "garage"-woody.) Somewhat strong woodiness, sharpness and strength disturbs me badly/ disappointedly lot. Did I apply 2 tiny squirts on wrists (?) Test 2: Feminine beauty. Now it's more like gardenia. I stand it more now, propably because applied only 1 tiny squirt. Woodiness is noticeable, it tends to go over the sensitive edge. (The mentioned content, cardamom, I can't sense.) Disturbingly sharp and heavy. Woody simple "gardenia"-kind.. I could wear this 1 squirt at a time, if crabbed it accidently with me instead of my favourite perfume. Woody seldom is enjoyable to me. One hour and sharpness is gone. All of the perfume has disappeared in a few hours.

First of all, I don't like tuberose, it causes me headache. I was hesitating to write a review, because I thought it would be unfair :) but hey, reviews are subjective, and something I find attractive might smell like dumpster to someone else, so here I go. It is a straightforward, clean and soapy tuberose. I can get a bit of sandalwood too, unfortunately no cardamon in my perception. Unlike many other tuberose heavy scents it has a low to moderate sillage so it was acceptable for me too. It might be good for someone looking for an office friendly version of tuberose in this price segment :) but I miss complexity and depth on this one.

I love tuberose but this perfume isn’t it. This smells too warm, which I know it has cardamom in it but it’s waaay too warm, and not in a good way. I tried to spray it during the summer but this caused me headache. Maybe I’ll try it again during winter. Anyway, good side is: this perfume leaves scent trail, has good sillage and projects well. I know some people love this perfume but this is not for me. At least not during spring/summer.

I'm glad i didn't get this one before testing it. On me it's a cheap cloying super sweet heavy scent, i only sprayed once on my arm. I couldn't stand it actually, it's a typical headache indusing perfume. Although i'm after coconut perfumes & love them, this one smells very heavy coconut not in a fresh way.

This smells just like Britney Spears Festive Fantasy, which I just sold a few weeks ago. Sometimes I also get that pickle note people are talking about in Ariana’s Thank you next (which I also tested). It’s just so sad. I don’t understand how this can appeal to someone, or even be considered feminine.

I didn't like this one. I'm glad I didn't buy it before testing it. It smells like air freshener to me when I first spray it and after some minutes it becomes OK but not nice enough for me to purchase it. Pass.
