Pop Exotic

I got a sample of this in the mail today and it's a lovely summer fragrance. Very sweet and fruity. Longevity is not great, as with a lot of Yves Rocher fragrances but for the price, and with such a large bottle, one can afford to spritz away. I get mostly pineapple and some flowers, not exactly sure what's "exotic" in there but nonetheless, I love it and it went straight to my Want list.

I just went by a Yves Rocher store before going to work (I am a fragrance obsessed) and spritzed some on my wrist< Regrettably the lasting power is not great but love love love the smell.

This scent isn't bad at all, but it reminds me quite a lot of these Always pads and I don't know, the idea of smelling like a very famous brand of menstrual pads doesn't appeal to me that much. I am a complete Yves Rocher junkie, I love everything they sell, especially their Monoi line and their Plaisirs Nature and I know I will get a lot of thumbs down because of what I am writing, but it is my opinion and I think that someone else will find this similarity as well.

I blind bought the shower gel and shampoo before and loved the scent but the edT got me really disappointed. It has so much alcohol that makes it seem like a regular drugstore perfume. I've tried better ones from Bi-es and La Rive... This is definately better as a shower gel than a perfume.

The shampoo is super fruity (+ a bit juicy) and tropical! <3

I had high hopes for this fragrance. I have several of Yves Rocher's "summer edition" perfumes, and haven't been disappointed yet... If there is any pineapple it may be just at the very beginning, and evaporates right away. Then, I can smell the flowers, and maybe there is fruit too. But it is all a bit faint, and I am putting my nose right to my wrist. So, while this isn't an awful perfume, it isn't anything special either.

I ordered this today and I'm so excited for it. Hopefully it's fruity smelling and "pineappley" :D Will go in for a more i debt review once it's here.

Very very fruity, and definitely not unisex.
