Rose

I LOVE IT! A very fresh pink rose! Not heady at all and so discreet. Unlike many perfumes, where the rose is often synthetic, this Eau Fraiche really smells like a natural rose, that has just been picked! But as my preference always goes for the honeyed Damas rose, I would rate it: 8.5/10.

I really like this, ok nothing complex about it,but its simplicity attracts me. So light, just perfect when you want to smell good but not too strong. A real favourite for me and such a good price too 😍

Realistic fresh rose scent, very uplifting and pretty

Light bodyspray type Rose. But nicely done. Not too sweet, very slight hint of lemon and quite realistic freshly picked rose. I bought the combo with the shower gel - definitely recommendable, especially at the price point. Update: I just got L'Occitane Rose EdT and now I start liking Rose Yves Rocher less and less. It feels too soapy and synethetic in comparison to the sparkling fresh rose in L'Occitane.

This is pretty similar to its former version Rose Fraîche, but the rose note is more potent here. It's a little bit powdery and somewhat reminds me of a mix of Rose Fraîche, Roses de Chloé and even a tiny little bit of the beautiful Secrets d'Essences Rose Absolue. However, like all new Yves Rochers, this is unfortunately very light. But at least it's inoffensive and office-friendly. A charming scent.

There's nothing else in here apart from rose. (The fresh-just-picked-with-the-morning-dew kind.) Nicely done, but over-spraying can be surprisingly cloying. Actually, it gets me headaches easily. But a good scent, still.

The whole (old) Eaux fraiche collection is discontinued (The Vert, Verveine, Muguet, Cerisier, Rose, Chevrefeuille).

I bought this as a gift but tested it out on myself first even though rose is very hit or miss for me. This is more of a nice body spray than it is a perfume--it's inoffensively feminine, simple, and light. The upside of this, that others mentioned is that you don't get hit with alcohol on the first spray; it really lives up to the "fresh water" title of the collection. The biggest draw back is that it really doesn't last long.

As a big rose fan this is a real disappointment. Too synthetic, soapy, disappear too quickly.. after a while it ends up smelling like some random laundry detergent (not a pleasant one). For a pure rose smell within this price range, check out L'Occitane en Provence Rose collection!

Very synthetic, also smells like straight up sweat on me. Not a fan

One of my first perfumes. I first tried it in Paris and it was my favourite perfume all throuh highschool. I'd definitely still wear this now though! It's very simple, a pure scent of a fresh rose in a dewy garden. Very wearable. It doesn't last very long, but considering the price I think it's a beautiful scent that is easy to re-apply throughout the day.
