Sur La Lande

this and cuir de nuit are my favs from yves rocher, i use cuir de nuir for fall-winter and sur la lande most in spring-summer but i think this fragrance can be used any season. it’s also a really good sleep scent, it’s not listed in notes but it has a really strong lavender-vanilla mixture in it which gives it this calming, relaxing sleep scent that u see in those pillow mists. it’s so cozy, fresh but it has this effortless, chic, french girl vibe to it i think it’s from the jasmine note. jasmine is so seductive and calming in here so it gives this beautiful girly aspect to it. i sometimes use this to bed bc it makes me feel like a goddess just took a shower, completely clean and beautiful. if i’d use one word to describe this fragrance it would be “relaxing” or “beautiful” 8.5/10 for me💗

Received a 5 ml sample bottle without an atomizer as a gift. The description in the box says "floral-oriental mineral". You really have to use your imagination to find the oriental. However, it's pretty, inoffensive, soft, rounded, natural. A pleasant fragrance but unfortunately, so fleeting... I can hardly smell it after an hour. Actually I struggle to smell it even right after applying, so in addition to poor longevity it really does not project. Maybe when you have an atomizer and can spray it all over you. Shame, because it is pretty and I like the bottle design, minus the white plastic cap though.

It's just lovely! It has a nice white floral bouquet (it's not straight jasmine), the camomile makes it not that obvious. The seaweed gives an aromatic (bit salty) touch, especially in the dry down. It's a floral woody mineral scent, classy and feminine, but a bit generic. It's like it reminds you of a lot of perfumes, but you can't quite get which one. It's perfect reach for spring and summer, when you get out of the house to run some errands and you just want to smell nice. If you don't like salty mineral scent, than it's not for you.

It's lovely. I ended up getting a full bottle after a sample. There's something melancholic about this for me that I can't explain. It also somehow smells "humid" and in actual high humidity seems to appear sweeter than it is on neutral ground. Yes it's quite sweet but not cloying. Very pretty, with no sharp edges. Some say it's mainstream which it surely is, but on the top of my head I can't think of a designer fragrance with the same vibe. The bottle is very pretty, too, and imo the color of it matches the perfume.

When I cheked the notes and compared to what I can smell - there is no chamomile and seaweed for me (fortunately), I can smell raspberries, which are not listed and smth sweet like caramel in the background. I like this scent for casual usage. I rarely receive compliments on fragrances, but on this one I received them 3 times and very positive.

It smells expensive, woody, and smoky, but the jasmine scent makes it feminine. I like that it is not very sweet and not spicy. It’s warm enough without being overwhelming, and it doesn’t give me a headache or anxiety like other warm perfumes sometimes do. It can be worn during the day and night in the cold seasons. Love it!

Sugared clean&fresh flowers. In the beginning i said "oh thats like lanvin-eclat" but finishes up, remind me black opium&fresh laundry. I think this one is best for spring season and summer nights.

Pretty scent for spring and summer, it's fresh and sweet, but nothing groundbreaking. My dentist always compliments me for it lol.

Just got my sample bottle so very first impressions. First few seconds remind me of the opening of Moment de Bonheur by Yves Rocher. It's fresh and flowery-green opening. Feminine as well. Then comes sweetness of powdery flowers. Reminds me more of chamomile than jasmine. And some aquatic notes. I'm not a fan of aquatic notes at all but I can tolerate this. It's something fresh and mineral you can smell by the sea. Not wet. More mineral or earthy. The middle notes are musky to my nose and therefore a bit sharp. This aquatic-musky sharpness is something that makes this fragrance smell more synthetic than other YR frags. It's something that makes me worry if this can cause me a headache that I get easily. The remining scent is pleasantly woody. Maybe cedar. There is definitely something herbal and woody about it. Some moss maybe and juniper. I'm not sure how the heathers smell but I can imagine them. If the opening was feminine the basenote is masculine in very calming way. It's like a hug. To my nose the notes would be: Top notes: dewy grass, jasmine, white flowers. Middle notes: chamomile, yellow flowers, sea minerals, musk. Base notes: cedar, moss, heather and juniper. This is maybe the most mainstream scent by YR. Very casual. Do I like it? I'm not sure. It's somewhere in between.

A pleasantly sweet and aquatic floral, which slowly turns warm with just a very slight touch of wood. For the most part, it's nothing like the indicated top and middle notes. Chamomile is barely noticeable and the jasmine is there but not as the main star, it's definitely mixed with other sweet floral notes. The aquatic floral sweetness is somewhat reminiscent of expensive floral shampoo (without being powdery), but the warmth pulls it back into being a dainty and youthful wearable fragrance. As it dries down, the aquatic qualities take a small step backwards and the warm notes take a step forward. It's not just wood. I'm getting amber and an almost caramel-vanilla effect dancing with the florals. It dries down sweet but not cloying. I usually despise fragrances that dry down being too syrupy-gourmand on me, but I like this one. It's a great everyday wear. Doesn't last long on me though. At most I get about 3 hours longevity on my skin.

I remember it was my 18th birthday. I've had so many plans made for upcoming adulthood, even though I didn't know much about becoming a woman. Back then, I was a little bit of a daydreamer, often had my head in the clouds. Being a teenage girl was kind of tough. Every emotion felt big and it was too easy to feel lost in all of it, especially when it came to grief after my grandpa and pandemic isolation. It was a hard time, but I was trying my best to keep my spark alive. I felt very pretty on that day - dressed in a long, elegant black dress with an open back and a stand-up collar. My favourite aunt gave me this perfume as a gift. The smell was very chic, parisian, flowery. She also left a birthday card with a wish "For beautiful Karolina - A beautiful life". Now, some years later, I think it is coming true. It was always coming true.

a tastefully done springtime fresh-floral. it's a modern take on their earlier releases. i haven't tried many YR fragrances, but i got reminded of their miniatures that used to be popular. it's simple, youthful and a bit flirty. in the same realm as 'dior addict eau fraiche' or 'comme une evidence'. it opens up quite fresh and fizzy, the woods add substance and depth to the drydown. the seaweed here isn't strong. while not unique (i've smelled similar zara perfumes), it's undeniably romantic, a bit playful and very on-brand for yves rocher.

I don't normally like this kind of girly perfumes but I really like this one. It smells very young in a good way. I also have the body mist which I prefer more because I unfortunately am allergic to the perfume version for whatever reason (but body mist is fine for me). It is not the most original scent ever but smells nice for its price! It is also not extremely sweet and has a little spice in it which makes it different than most of the drug store perfumes. I like to sprey it into my hair and it gets me compliments.

This is really lovely. Like a beach scent but on the woody side, not with coconut. It's a different take on a beach fragrance, giving you the scent of the salty marine air. It's simply stunning and understated. It's not meant to show off. It's meant to savor. This is great if you go on vacation and want a beachy, herbal fragrance that's not too overpowering. Or just wear it around the house as a pick-me-up.

At first I didn’t think much of this scent - it’s fairly basic and does smell good and floral but really nothing unique. I wear it on days I stay home, or to run quick errands. However, I wore it last night before bed and when I woke up I smelled so good and comforting! I don’t know how to explain it but I love this scent now, it wears out beautifully and I’ll be wearing it more often as a lounging scent.

No, it’s more like a cool breeze sweeping over a chilly heath, a soothing scent that brings peace. A very delicate fragrance, fleeting like a breath of wind.

I like this perfume, but I don't understand the listed notes! I smell soft vanilla and lavender, with only a hint of jasmine. I'm able to notice the chamomile too, but I don't notice the seaweed. This scent smells young, innocent and simple. In my opinion, it would be great for to a teenager!

I find it quite fresh and lovely at the first spray but quickly i smell something quite intense. For me it's a lighter Mon rouge from Yves rocher. the drydown (20 minutes...) is exactly the same... (ok maybe not that cloying but still)

Nice, fresh floral fragrance. The chamomile gives it a herbal tone (though I wouldn't recognize it as chamomile, really) and the seaweed gives it a salty touch. Very natural, exactly what I would expect from Yves Rocher.
