Vanille d'Orchidée

Lovely bright vanilla married with buttery white flowers, very gorgeous and sweet. Sillage is good but the longevity is really short. Wish I had bought a few extra bottles of this one, Im gonna miss it when the bottle runs out!

Honestly one of the best perfume i've smell, this vanilla scent isn't too strong, it's literally perfect. The only thing i dislike about it, it's limited sadly

Love the smell ! It's a nice floral vanilla. Obviously it's an eau de toilette so the longevity is poor, but for that price it's not bad.

So sad...for the price (I paid 40€) u can actually buy a nice designer perfume that actually LAST. SKIP THIS!

Received this yesterday. I'm disappointed. What's wrong with YR nowadays? Old fashioned greed? Prices up and quality down? This should be eau fraiche or a body mist. Edt is totally misleading! I have usually liked YR vanillas, especially Xmas vanillas. 2021 My Vanilla Garden, 2022 My Shiny Vanilla and 2023 Voile Dore were all light but this is almost non existent, gone in 5 minutes. I bought two bottles because I guessed it might need to be reapplied over and over again and I was soooo right. Luckily I have spare bottles of My Shiny Vanilla and Voile Dore left.

painfully underwhelming, the body mist was more of what i wanted from this scent profile tbh

Very disappointing. First of all, this was launched as a christmas perfume and the scent has absolutely nothing to do with christmas, it's more like a spring/summer perfume. Second of all, I barely can smell the vanilla and after it sits on the skin for a while it turns into a headache inducing play dough scent which doesn't last for a long while. I saw someone say they paid 40€ for a full bottle and it must have been SO disappointing to pay that much for something so boring. Definetly a skip

Wow...I am usually like lacemylove mentions on YR's holiday vanillas...This year has gotten away from me and I just realized I hadn't yet seeked out the 2024 offering from YR. I'm so glad I am getting in late to the game for 2024's Vanilla d'Orchidee! This certainly does sound beautiful, but thanks to everyone's reviews already here, it's obviously not worth blind-buying. I'm with lacemylove on the holiday vanillas from YR. They seem to have taken a turn for the worse in recent years. I am in absolute LOVE, still, for my Vanille Nuit I got years ago at Christmas! My Vanilla Garden was the last YR vanilla I ended up keeping. My Shiny Vanilla was ok, but I determined it had a weird waxy scent to me, and Vanille Doree last year ended up a miss for me, too (spicy/woody note that overtook any vanilla). I will still consider YR's vanillas, but with more caution than previous years!! My favorites remain YR Vanilla Bourbon and YR Vanilla Nuit, I just hope this company brings quality back in the upcoming years!!! Update- I did purchase a bath/body set in this scent so I could at least try it out!! IMO, this is My Shiny Vanilla with a powder note thrown in there. It's not terrible, but also not a LOVE from me. If you're familiar with My Shiny Vanilla from YR 2022, this is the vanilla note you will find in Vanilla d'Orchidee.

It's more simple than these notes above. Cozy vanillia dominance. Boring. Just for feeling the warmth of vanillia. I still have it, time to time I wear with my pyjamas it if I want to feel something simple and warm. But not to outside. Sometimes I layer this with some oudy or bitter notes like incines, smokes that lack of sweet notes in it. Makes other perfumes changes good with a touch of sweet vanillia.

I honestly don’t get the bad reviews. It might be weak, but the scent itself is simply gorgeous. It’s addictive and beautiful, I just can’t stop smelling it.

Very faint floral-vanilla fragrance. I couldn't smell it after 1 hour.
