6 place Saint Sulpice

Pivotal fragrance in my "journey" or however you wanna refer to this process. Tried it a while in a business trip to OKC. Had brought with me a few decants of some fresh, while still interesting fragrances - nothing niche or expensive - at the time, to myself. Ended up sampling this from a Dillard's that had an amazing rep. She let me try basically all I wanted and still, after all the testing she gave me three samples of YSL Private (6 Place not being one I tried in store), namely, Cuir, Caban, and 6 Place. Once the emotion was past, I ended up trying 6 Place last while in line to go through TSA at the OKC airport. OMG, I felt something otherworldly indescribable. I am not someone who leans towards or even truly enjoys darker scents - this, however, is right up my alley because of the lack of density/"cloyancy". Airy enough but robust, interesting, intriguing and mysterious, while not full on DARK/gothic as the bottle indicates. This absolutely kills the beloved Babycat to me, no doubts, though I've never tried the so-popular Tuxedo. Smells of black upscale outfitting and whereabouts. I said this was pivotal because, even though my budget was still short and I wasn't super into niche, I kept going after 6 Place-like fragrances without any luck of finding it even through YSL's website. Gris Extrait and Santal Austral were close; Gris being the closest, but NOT 6. Their differences are enough to make them not redundant, but of course similar. Then, a TRADE showed up locally. No hesitation I got it, and God bless America for an open marketplace, this was legit and I finally got a bottle. Shit's fantastic! Dressy, warm, leathery, masculine, sexy oh my this thing's phenomenal. Though my review is very emotional, I can objectively say this is an amazing fragrance, especially if dark scents are not your thing, this can be the one to have with absolute versatility for night-wearing and cooler weather. Price is kinda ridiculous and I thankfully and certainly "underpaid" but the wearing experience is awesome! Good longevity, sufficient projection, and enough nuance from opening to drydown some 7h into the wearing, to then a soft skin scent with still some humph! One of my, if not the absolute, favorite cooler weather-only fragrance. Addicting!

Incoming YSL 6 glaze. This is what people classify as WEALTH IN A BOTTLE. Doesn't have a laundry list of notes and ingredients but it takes what it has and is blended masterfully into perfection and as a special occasion scent, I believe wholeheartedly that this is as good as it can get. Scent: Peak perfumery for those who love that amber and woody scents. 6 opens up with what I can only describe as high quality woodiness, almost as if walking into a carpenter where they're working with the highest quality of woods with a light touch of that spiciness from saffron. As it progresses, that tonka and labdanum really shines through where this HIGH QUALITY warm, creamy almost vanilla note emerges even though it's not listed as a note. If your fear is that 6 is a very leathery scent which is a fear that I had myself, to my nose I get just the smallest hint of leather, way less than what Babycat had. Performance: If you're a fragrance enthusiast you already expected these notes combined into a fragrance would probably perform quite well and it definitely does. Sprayed it for an evening event to test (and because I love it) and I could still smell it on my arm after I woke up. Projects quite strongly as well especially during the first maybe three hours before pulling back just a tad bit. The scent trail that 6 leaves behind is also divine so honestly, no complaints here as long as you don't overspray. Versatility: Warm, spicy, woody ambers. Keep this shit out of the heat for everyone's sake. Other than that it's a beautiful scent for colder or more grand occasions, probably the best of its kind. Scent: 10/10 Performance: 10/10 Versatility: 7.5/10 Personal Score: 10/10 🪵 6 place Saint Sulpice is one of the highest tiers of private line luxury and no, it's not just influence from the social media hype. It might be pricey and an absolute pain in the ass to obtain but it is more than deserving of its perfect score to me just from the masterful blend and the quality of ingredients used. SENSATIONAL.

I’ve had a 10ml decant of this for a couple months now and every single time I wear it I can’t stop smelling my wrist. To me, this smells exactly like sophistication. Perfectly unisex but if I had to budge I’d say leaning ever so slightly male. I see people saying this smells like Polo supreme leather—not sure I’ve smelled that yet. This gives such black patent leather stiletto, black dress, silhouettes, or something straight out of YSL SS24 winter men/women. A refined beauty. Bentley Bentayga to the Ritz kind of fragrance. It’s creamy, aromatic, grown vanilla-Tonka almost milky without the tart. 6Place is a quintessential blending of notes that sit so nicely on skin and I can smell every single note here—which I absolutely adore. Usually when this is the case it means most people won’t be able to “put their finger on it”. Everybody who says Babycat and Tuxedo are elusive don’t know the deal about this Prive collection. I personally prefer this note story over Tuxedo any day. I actually don’t really like Tuxedo ... Anyway, you must like leather, lavender and tonka to even consider getting your hands on this but I’d say give it a try anyway, or don’t.. more for us. Usually I don’t like to place limitations on what season or time of day to wear Parfums but I am curious to see how this would perform in balmy Mediterranean climate. Easily 8+ hours. I wake up and smell its departure. So good. Strong but not a stinker. Just pure class. I love this a lot actually.

Purchased this at Neiman's two months ago where I was told that it was the first time this fragrance had been back in stock since the pandemic started. This was my introduction to Saint Laurent's Prive collection, and I have no regrets. If Azzaro's Most Wanted was amber and tonka bean-forward, it'd smell like this. It's sweet and sensual, and it's intoxicating to my nose when I wear it, so I love using it. However, I feel like it'd give certain other types of people slight headaches. That being said, if you'd like to indulge in this fragrance, be mindful of how much you choose to apply. Being frugal in this case (2-3 sprays max) might be a more successful strategy than, well, bathing yourself in the droplets that you've sprayed incessantly into the air from the nozzle. Other than that, 6 place Saint Sulpice is a rich, deep scent, and though the notes listed are quantitatively few, the scent profile is complex. And for a Prive collection fragrance, damn is it SEXY. It's the full package, sexy, elegant, intriguing, LONG LASTING (seriously 24 hours is nothing for this). If you're looking for a special, rare, beautiful piece to highlight your winter collection, 6 place Saint Sulpice is the dark horse of what you're seeking. SCORE: 93%

A very cozy and masculine-leaning evening fragrance. The leather is prominent and smooth, and it kind of reminds me of a high end leather sofa, where the leather has been processed to handle heavy use...in other words, it's not animalic or "raw" smelling. I think the tonka in this is interesting and it's interplay with the lavender is nothing short of masterful in that it adds depth, shifting the scent away from being a strict leather scent to a vanillic and aromatic scent that's warm and comforting for the wearer and those around them. There's a powdery finish, and I definitely think there's iris/orris, and some type of wood in this, maybe sandalwood, but who really knows? It's a great addition and makes 6 softer and more unisex. If I were to nitpick, I'd knock this fragrance for remaining relatively linear throughout its life, but in this case, it's not totally bad because this is such an interesting and pleasing scent. YSL 6 is an easy to wear leather scent that combines warm vanilla/tonka, lavender, and powdery woody notes to add depth, instead of typical fruity notes found in most designer leathers. It's definitely the best fragrance I've smelled by YSL so far. 9.4/10

Love this scent!! First time they showed me the private collection at YSL I passed on this one, and ended up buying 24 Rue de l'Université and Tuxedo... all I can think about that day is that I was surely drunk... don’t get me wrong, those two are great scents... but 6 Place Saint Sulpice is just amazing, perhaps my favorite Parfum ever!! Think about Spicebomb Extreme on steroids!! Spicy leathery tonka is what this parfum is about... but there is not a single note that stands out on its own, is just a perfect and amazing blend, and one that you will smell for hours and hours on your skin, and for days on your clothes. The only drawback to this perfect concoction is projection... not very good at that... but it doesn’t matter, still one of the coziest aromas for night/cold weather that I have ever smelled. And if you wonder about this Parfum not being ideal for a special occasion, or wondering if it might be somewhat “fresh” from the notes of Lavender and Bergamot, think again, those ingredients are just added to create a perfect blend, 6 place Saint Sulpice is by no means a fresh scent, it is just a wonderfully created Parfum for the most special of occasions.

Interesting. A signature style of Carlos Benaim here the amber labdanum leather combo. IMO this is better than his work for Reine De Saba Sagesse de Salomon. Quite likely did a quick remix there as RdS is high profile names with relatively low creative direction and most fragrances feel inspired by others or twists of well known hits. Ironically I saw a podcast of RdS arguing that fragrances were overpriced yada yada then he comes out with that brand terrible. I digress. This is a wonderful amber labdanum leather with hints of lavender for some more masculinity. It feels like Fahrenheit was a launchpad taking that idea of rugged masculinity with all the leather and petroleum. Here it’s like Tom Selleck became a metrosexual a bit weird but these are the times we live in. A tad weak on the projection so could be a good scent for humid nights out to get an extra oomph or for really closed and intimate spaces. The intimacy of the scent for me is a tad too much. If I had to pick an alternative I’d go for Falcon Leather or Aaron Terence Hughes Oud. Both get the same idea roughly but make a bolder presence felt. Still beautiful though.

Sometimes you like or love a fragrance immediately, and that was was YSL 6 place Saint. When I first tried this, it immediately grabbed me reminded me of one of my favorite discontinued Kilian scents - Amber Oud from the Arabian Nights collection. I am lucky enough to own a bottle of AO, and I only wear it on special occasions because it's impossible to find and crazy expensive if you do find it. YSL 6PSS has that same labdanum and sassafras feeling I get from Kilian AO. The Kilian also has oud, a little smoke, and the most gorgeous barrel aged vanilla. They're not identical, but the heart note blend is in the same family. Once the drydown arrives, 6PSS diverges to a dusty, semi raw, slighly sour cuir. Not challenging or really detectable at a distance, but I can smell the bit of labdanum leather funk up close. What's interesting is I 6+ hours later on skin, the leather has receded, and I smell the heart notes again. Overall a great fragrance and a solid alternative to the rare Kilian AO. ---------------------------------------------- Scent 94/100 Performance TBD

This scent? It’s like a top-tier mixtape of saffron, lavender, and labdanum jamming on a creamy tonka groove, all wrapped up in the fanciest leather money can buy. It’s the sexy cold-weather weapon you didn’t know you needed. I spritzed it on my arm and now I can’t stop catching whiffs of this gorgeousness every time I move. Seriously, I’m practically sniffing my arm non-stop. If I had to pick one scent for life, this would be it—no questions asked. Sure, it’s a bit of a scavenger hunt to find, but it’s worth every penny. A 125ml bottle will last for years. 3-4 sprays and it sticks around for a solid 6-7 hours on skin (much longer on clothes) and puts on a show for the first 2-3 hours. Then, it chills close to the skin, but you’ll still catch whispers of it as you move. Comparing it to Santal Austral? Nah, they’re like distant cousins, not twins. YSL 6 brings in the saffron-lavender-leather combo, while Santal Austral goes for the iris and sandalwood. Both bring the warm, creamy vibes, but in their own distinct styles.

I recently stayed in the 6th Arr about a 1 min walk from the 6 place Saint Sulpice boutique. They didn’t have this in stock when we went in but it was a cool YSL and the people were pretty nice. Fast forward to my trip out of CDG back to the states and the larger duty free had one bottle of this left. It was 168€ after discount, so I had to buy it. It’s a fantastic combo of leather and tonka with a light labdanum. It’s not Le Lion level of Labdanum, more of a supporting note. It does share some similarities to things like Gris Charnel Extrait or a few of the Palo Santo heavy scents (Valentino Noir Absolu comes to mind) but it’s more subdued and classy. Leathery, lightly sweet, very well blended. A late entry of Mr Benaim and one worthy of being aside his best. Longevity is very good at over 7-8 hours and it’s more of a moderate projector. Think upscale dinner appropriate. I’ve tested this 4/5 times. A 8.25/10. Really classy stuff that I’ll associate always with that trip to Paris.

Leather perfected? I'm not the type of person to like leather notes in fragrances, I could even say that leather is my least favorite notes. I really want to like leather notes, but I just couldn't. That is until I found this. YSL 6 Place Saint Sulpice (YSL 6) is the perfect leather fragrance, the mix of leather and labdanum is so well-done. The tonka and the saffron that helps each other shine is perfect. I can't say anything bad about this fragrance, only the price is a bit absurd in Thailand (15,000 THB or 470 USD for a full bottle). This fragrance is fairly linear in scent, I don't really see it develops or changes character while wearing this. It's not a bad thing at all, except you like something a bit more complex. I do get impressions of BDK Gris Chanel Extrait's dry-down, but a really small bit. It's just the same "vibes". I wish I could use this everyday, but I don't think this fragrance will hold up against Thailand's heat at all, lol.

This is quite a creamy, almost lactonic (not really lactonic. There's just no proper way to explain the cozy, comforting and musk-like silage) tonka bean, with lots of resinous labdanum. These together, it comes off as a creamy benzoin with suede. The leather accord is very smooth and suede like. Unlike the harshness I was expecting The tonka bean isn't toothachingly sweet like I thought it was. (Think tonka imperial). This is more of a caramelized sweetness. The only critique I have to say is I wish it lasted longer and there was more "leather" and labdanum. This is such a wearable scent. I was expecting something that would have been too strong for me to wear/the scent wears me instead. This is definitely a favourite! I could also swear that I smell similar notes to 24 rue de l'Université with the creamy, slightly powdery sandalwood.

I came here today to say, while going on a boutique tour, i noticed that YSL has these as their boutique exclusives. There were no other fragrances in that boutique, but the black bottle 3. I’ve had my 3 at the start of COVID, purchased right from YSL. At the time they ran for, if i can remember correct, $280. Give or take. Never knew they are exclusives. Anyway , while seeking just to leave the whole exclusive observation on here, i noticed some of you saying how this doesn’t last. Mine last. And last. All of mine lasted from the point of purchase and still last, with no discernible difference. I mean, 10+hrs kinda last. Reformulation? Perhaps. Although i noticed they change the bottle a bit (new leather labeling to reflect their leather products, i was told), i didn’t spray the new bottles. Maybe I’ll go back one day to see.

Got to admit the hype and inaccessibility got me. Based on the reviews and notes I decided to blind buy this one. I watched the YSL website for a couple of months all the while seeing out of stock. My persistence paid off and I was surprised to see it available when I opened the website. Of course I grabbed it. The next day the website said out of stock again. Crazy! It arrived today and it is sensational! From the notes you would guess it to be kind of heavy. It is smooth as silk or should I say a fine leather wallet or handbag. Not at all overbearing but has a definite one of a kind personality. So good that I could wear this year round. I wouldn’t wear it to the beach or outside in 90 plus degree weather but it is a rare fragrance that I would wear in those conditions. It has landed a place in my top 5 for sure.

That’s the smell of a sensual sophisticated woman. It’s extremely sexual, mysteriously sexual, not sticky-sexy. It’s addictive, classy and versatile. Easily became a signature and favourite scent. Very different on a blotter and on a skin, test it before buying. It was extremely masculine and underwhelming on a blotter, but sales assistant was persistent enough to test it on skin and told me wait a while. On a first spray/sniff it reminded me of any male cologne. I left the store and came back in ten minutes to grab the bottle :D definitely plays with your skin chemistry. Saffron burnt in sugar. By the end of wearing it’s mostly beautiful tonka and labdanum. I wish they added ambroxan/ambergris to the base. I’d say if you are a female and love&wear Santal 33 or Jo Malone Myrrh&Tonka this one is right up the alley.

We know that perfume is subjective and that each person likes different things. So I will speak subjectively: this perfume is BEAUTIFUL. As the ladies sitting a few meters away from me on the Paris Metro were discussing my scent: while one thought it was a tad too strong, the other just said that she enjoyed it a lot -, both convinced that I wasn't listening - when in fact, it was a friend who overheard the conversation and reported it to me. The leather accord, the subtlety and balance of the ingredients, the discreet cloud, but perfectly perceptible from a safe distance, make this perfume a dream for any user lucky enough to be able to pick up a bottle. I used it while visiting the namesake place, and I won't forget the experience.

I am really happy I got the chance to get two 3,5ml samples of this one, the distribution is limited to the extremes. I guess this is the reason why this is the first review of this perfume here, even though it is on the market for a full year already. This one starts as some kind of burning saffron (I guess it is the leather note that gives this "burning" feeling), turning to a sweet slightly herbal scent - it opens really loud and needs about 30 minutes to settle down to a creamy tonka - labdanum saffron. Stunning. Starts off strong and aromatic, then quickly rounds out to a smooth buttery suede. I am not a leather lover, but this suede is something else. There's no hint of the animalic roughness that leather has. Superbly done front-and-center labdanum and a light lavender that plays a supporting role. On deep drydown, 5-6 hours in, smells like an avant-garde unsweetened herbal chocolate cake you might get at a ridiculously expensive New York restaurant. I have received compliments on this many times. It is easy to like, but has the oomph to keep a niche-head satisfied. Unisex, but you need to be a strong woman with an edge to pull this off. Smells like money. Masterpiece. 10/10

NEARLY THE SMELL IF HEAVEN!!! I have never written a review about a fragrance and I am not a professional perfumer, but THIS IS AMAZING! What can I say? It's the cleanest version of me, and that's a feeling I had for the 1st time with this wonder! It's clean, fresh, creamy, soapy "royal fancy soap" beautifully sweet, can be worn at work, casuals, dates, parties! Beautiful opening and even better dry down! It projects for 1-2 feet with 10+ hours longevity! It's definitely a fall/winter fragrance but it's amazingly versatile on its season! It's pricy but, I never had the feeling of a happy buyer like this. Definitely 10/10 Ysl and Carlos did the job at it's very best!

Tested at a YSL store in China. It starts out super-strong, smokey and resinous with a touch of sweetness that is ever-evolving. From 8-10 hours, this tenacious elegant beast relaxes its grip and morphs into a softer creamy tropical coconut cotton candy with a touch of lime. At 15 hours after a shower, it's still linear and projecting and arm's length. Fast forward to 25 hours and it is finally a skin scent, but no sign of disappearing anytime soon. Try it first as it is very distinctive and if you like it pull the trigger before they reformulate. 1 spray, two if you dare. Do not blind buy. Formal. Winter / Fall. Uber quality.

I have a few hundred fragrances and find myself reaching for YSL 6 more frequently. Maybe because of the colder weather at the moment. Nonetheless, I truly enjoy this one as it does have a unique and noticeable scent profile that is often complimented. I've layered this with some of my favorite vanilla fragrances for evenings and some fresher bergamot fragrances during the day or in the office. It took me a while to find YSL 6, and could never find it anywhere to test so had to go with a blind buy. I would consider it a successful pickup that presents as elegant and well refined.

As a fragrance lover this is my first ever review regardless any perfume. I was between five and sixes while chosing 6 and 37. Tried on again and again and after asking many I chose 6 place over 37, despite being an oud fan. Longitivity is too good. I pit it on aronund 12 in the day and while writing this review I can still feels and smells it. Very clean, soothing and refreshing scent. I think price is good for being a 125ml bottle as compared to other bottles selling at much higher price but in little quantity. My recommendations are go and grab this. You arent going to regret.

I have a 15ml decant of this, and it's fricking heavenly... I've never payed $270 for a frag, but this is one that I would part with my hard earned money for. This is a brilliant offering from YSL, and I would love to wear it more in the cold climate, but I have to conserve what I have... Plus, I have 170 frags to burn through.... I'm not sure if this is blind buy worthy, but EBay often has decants pretty regularly if you've got the itch to try this. I've also tried 37 Rue, and it's not nearly as good as this. This is just stunning.... Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐(10/10)

I don't even know where to start with this gem. Such a gorgeous creamy smokey leather based fragrance that I find absolutely stunning. There's so much going on here is hard to pinpoint what I'm smelling. It's a fragrant symphony of beautiful notes dancing within arms reach. My girl loves it too & she rarely likes any of my fragrances. I don't see musk listed but I get faint hints of lavender, vanilla, musk & tonka.. This is class in a bottle. Best blind buy I've ever made. Got to add the other 2 to my collection immediately.

Gorgeous dark amber scent, opens super aromatic fresh with the clary sage and a bit of coriander that reminds me a lot of Prada Luna Rosa Black or CC Amberwood before drying to almost Chanel Le Lion.I don’t see the LVers comparison I have a bottle of that and that’s a sandalwood and galbanum bomb, this is a conservative labdanum scent that should honestly not be as exclusive as it is. Will have to come back to this in the cold for final verdict, it feels too intimate for wear and I forget I even had anything on

absolutely outstanding perfumery. seeing these notes wont give u the slightest hint of how sexy and alluring this thing smells. this opens up with fresh lavender and saffron with a slight designer vibe but it quickly goes away and settles down a warm amber and leathery feel. after awhile the tonka comes out and turns the fragrance sweeter. i can see myself rocking this all winter long, it deserves to be a winter staple. please dont buy this, this needs to stay under the rader. 10/10 hidden gem

9.5/10 Probably the greatest scent of the entire YSL private lines, if not, ALL the YSL fragrances. This scent, for me, is the perfect balance of leather and a soft woody scent with a very good longevity (around 8 hours for me, but this varies). That said, I do think this requires smelling for yourself, so get a sample or visit a YSL store, however limited those are. I am aware of the THRILLER scent, which is the dupe of this, but until I smell that for myself, this is in a class of its own.

I didn’t expect to like it this much! The blend is beautifully done very “designer,” meant to appeal to everyone, but with higher-quality ingredients. It evolves a lot, very Gris Charnel-like but more masculine, and for some reason it even reminds me a bit of Penhaligon’s Mr William’s. Radiant, smooth, and creamy ; perfect for lazy winter days ! A woman could definitely pull this off; it’s absolutely signature-worthy. What a fragrance. Carlos Benaïm really delivered a masterclas !!!

absolute beaut. opens with a fresh leaning on artificial cleanliness like the seats of a car a few weeks after you buy it. As it dries down, it warms up to a masterfully deep and decadent slightly sweet suede smell, like flecks of pastry on the sleeve of a winter coat. Feels like a suit of armor at times, like it does the confidence for you if you aren’t quite feeling up to it. performance could be better, but my mom can smell it after a day’s wear, that’s good enough for me.

6 place Saint sulpice est un parfum pour toute saison selon moi. Il est doux épicé pas trop fort juste Correct pour un usage quotidien. Il est rupture de stock. Chaque jour je vérifie sur le site. J'utilise pour un ami pour le moment, wow wow wow il est mon numéro 1. J'ai juste mis 4 pulsvérisations mais au bureau tout le monde veut se coller à moi🥰. Ce qui est rare est cher, je comprends maintenamt cette phrase. Je recommande fortement ce produit. 10/10

Yes, yes the leather and labdanum is spectacular! But hey, no body talks about the clary sage and saffron combo which is what sets this scent apart from the mainstream winter leather scents to a top class private line. This is somewhere towards the dry down when it gets creamier and gives off a slight 🥥 coconutty touch with some 🌿 herbal spice, which to me is what sold me on this one. Compliments to the chef - Carlos Benaïm 🫱🏿🫲🏾👨🏻🍳

Definitely a fall time in Manhattan kind of scent. Not the Bronx, Queens, Staten Island, or Brooklyn; Manhattan. I'll go so far as to say had this had NYC etched into the glass, with no other naming, this would have been one of the most recognizable and most sold perfumes of all times. The lackluster marketing definitely handicapped the embrace of this one. A beautifully made, chic, masculine perfume. 10/10

I initially tested in Neimans and fell in love at first sniff. A few months later, I found this online and I got an excellent deal on this. This is LOVE. This is perfectly unisex. Both my husband and I love it. This has to be one of the best. I purchased this and Velours and I am most likely selling Velours. But this one I will never part with. This is a well done masterpiece.

this is what i imagine batman wears. maybe not on a night out with his roster, but when hes sitting on a rooftop in gotham city all suited up, this is def what hes wearing. fr tho this is a nice spicy leather scent that is wearable because its not overly harsh. mighjt be a little too spicy up against ur nose but i think its sillage smells really beautiful

Such a beautiful scent! It opens with saffron and soft leather, dry down is mostly tonka, labdanum and bergamot. The impression is an almost highbrow coconutty sunscreen scent for a person who normally would not prefer either citrus, coconut or to much tonka. I have 24, it is one of my absolutely favorites, this is almost as lovely. FBW and 10/10.

Just received this magical masterpiece!! i can't found charming words enough to describe it!! it's not only extremely luxurious,,, You can imagine it as a very handsome man in a luxurious all-black suit sitting in the most luxurious hotel in Paris with the most beautiful lady in the world..🖤

Perfection. The leather and spiciness isn’t too rough, as it’s balanced with amber. The performance is INSANE, worth every penny. I literally only need to go with 2 sprays, and 10 hours later people are following the scent trail asking me what I’m wearing. Favorite fragrance ever.

What a master piece I smelled this at my YSL by Bloomingdale’s and felll in love right when I got the first sniff bought it the next day the leather isn’t a harsh leather it’s so creamy and sweet and a really great date night scent for sure love it 10/10

Love this fragrance, beautiful & sophisticated! Kept going crazy over that this reminded me of something I’ve smelled before and couldn’t figure it out until I put on Amouage Reflection 45. Am I the only one who gets that?!

Fresh, peppery leather, signature-worthy perfume. I'd say grapefruit rather than bergamot, and some ink note that underlines everything. Unisex. I will try it in summer - it may work just fine, because of the lavender.

I loved all 3 of them but I like this one the best. Very dark , woody , smooth and creamy. Only for evenings or nights out. I don't detect much leather in it (luckily) Masterpiece as far as I'm concerned. Thumbs up!

Just have to come here and say that this is so much better than the extremely overhyped Babycat. I absolutely love this fragrance and am so glad I found a bottle at a decent price as this is disctoninued in the US.

Kind of reminded me of The Blazing Mr Sam in the opening but the dry down was very unique. A ambery dark leather fragrance that projects. Steep price point but definitely worth it.

A very well crafted fragrance, very good masculine scent. 2 issues: Price and performance. It lasts quite a while, like 8hrs, but projection after 1hr is non existent.

This might be the greatest scent from the YSL private line. Perfectly balanced. Warm and sweet with overdoing it. Spicy and elegant. A must for anyone’s collection.

I love the scent, hate the performance. I don't know if it's my batch or what but it lasts at most 2hrs. It's still macerating so I hope it gets better.

I only smelled this one through the cap when I saw it in store, but from what I remember- Tonka and Leather goodness. I gotta try this one again

Leather and lavender, never would I have thought of them combined, but this fragrance is so well blended and brilliantly executed! 🤩

Anyone know if the new bottle have better projection and longevity? I got the old bottle, becomes a skin scent after 1h.

Smells luxurious and dark. I love it. I can definitely smells some patchouli in the opening. Better than babycat? Yes!
