Art Collection: La Nuit de L'Homme

This is the first reformulation of the original, it's a 2013 batch that is heavy on cardamon, vanilla and lavender. It's a beautiful spicy, woody scent, very alluring and sexy. I tested this with next to the current formulation. The current is more powdery, lighter and doesn't project that much. This has more depth, the cardamon is very prominent with the lavender and has a vanilla sweetness that i can't find in the current formulation. The performance isn't great, about 6-7 hours longevity and very good projection for the first 2 hours and I get whiffs even 3-4 hours later, while the new formulation has less longevity (4-5 hours) but very soft projection and you can barely smell it after an hour. Overall, i definitely prefer the 2013 batch, it has all the things that made la nuit one of the most loved fragrances ever! If you can find it in a good price grab it but if you can't the new formulation is close but you need to spray more to project.

Cardamom bomb 2014 batch still very very good quality. Pick your La nuit de l’homme asap when it is going on too bad of reformulated time and time again
