Atlas Garden

I selected a sample of this fragrance with an order from YSL. Somehow my box was damaged in transit. When it was delivered, I was immediately hit with the most fantastic smell. I was confused, because I thought my Libre Intense had morphed into something incredible that I didn't recognize. When I opened my package, I saw that it was the sample of Atlas Garden that had totally shattered and left it's amazing scent everywhere. I removed the other items from the package and wiped them down - the Atlas Garden remained in and throughout the packaging. The first few days, the fragrance filled up a room. It's been almost a week and I can still smell it on the box and paper inside when I get close (no, I haven't thrown it away). My Libre Intense was also damaged, but all I could think of was getting my hands on this Atlas Garden to see if it was as good on my skin as it is on cardboard and paper. Today it's in my YSL cart. I'm trying to justify spending $175 on a fragrance that I want, but in no way need (of course, I haven't "needed" any of the others, either). I'll update when I try it because I know I'm going to get it. **UPDATE** Yes, I succumbed to my wants and purchased a full-bottle of this beauty. Here's the kicker - I can't smell it on me!!! I know the scent is there and it projects, because others can smell it. I can smell it in my car if I'm gone for a short period of time and the same in my office. I do love the scent and just have to remind myself not to overspray. No regrets.

BDAY GIFT TO MYSELF🥳🥰🥰🥰 *Long Frag Story Ahead* I first tried Atlas Garden in Holts right after falling in love with Magnificent Gold from the same line. I was so afraid to enjoy more because this line is pricy but to my luck this scent shocked me as well. It smelt like a better version of Love by Killian, so I set it aside (since I have Love and I love that scent enough.) I tried it one more time during a different trip to Holts and sprayed a blotter card. Later that day, the scent was projecting the most LOVELY scent from the card. Verdict: This is one of the best sweet orange blossom scents I've ever tried... tbh THE best. What I get is L'interdit + Love Don't Be Shy + Marc Jacobs Perfect Intense mixed together, making it superior than all 3. Think sweet orange blossom + intresting unique date sweetness + nutty seseme + ambroxan (synthetic molecule used in niche scents). Think LDBS but with dates as sweetness. Think LDBS turns 30 this year. Also, much superior to Alien Goddess Intense, Viktor & Rolf Good Fortune and Prada Paradoxe (three new fragrances with similar vibes) Fragrancebuy & FragranceNet have this at a deal so I got myself a bottle. I am extremely happy especially after testing multiple times... it is currently projecting yummyness into my nose.

I absolutely love this perfume. I discovered it at the Bon Marché in Paris a few months ago on the front display of the YSL corner. When I first sprayed it on my wrist, I was hyptonized: very strong orange flowers with an animal twist. Then something very sweet made me almost nauseous. I guess it was the smell of dates. But the time I got back home the scent had turned into the most sensual orange flower blossom I had ever smelled. I checked on Fragrantica to figure out what the notes might be and couldn't find this perfume, nor on the YSL website. I thought I was mistaken about the name. Anyway I was obsessed about this fragrance. When I was able to go to the Bon Marché last month I headed to the corner and tried it again. I got an "Atlas Garden" postcard on which the assistant sprayed the scent. Believe me or not but the handbag in which I put the card still smells of "Atlas Garden". The longevity and sillage are awesome. I agree with the last review. "Atlas Garden" has similarities with "L'Interdit" but it is way stronger and sweeter. More oriental (not incense and oud etc...) but it reminds me of oriental pastries such as makrouts with a strong orange flower flavour. I've listed "Atlas Garden" as number one on my birthday wishlist...

"Synthetic Orange Blossom Floriental" I generally love big orange blossom florientals and this one is another love. I hate to play the "reminds me of" game but Atlas Garden reminds me A LOT of Armani Code for women. It's definitely about orange blossom but that really synthetic/artificial kind just like Armani Code. It's sweet and almost veering into gourmand territory but it isn't gourmand - it's definitely a sweet floral oriental. Others have compared it to TM Alien and I do get that comparison, but only if you're not already familiar with Armani Code. I absolutely love it but unsure if I love it enough for $175. I do think it's better and lasts longer than Armani Code (which is fleeting), which gives YSL Atlas Garden higher points. If Atlas Garden were under $100 I'd definitely buy a bottle in a heartbeat. It's a big, blousy, sweet, warm and sizzling little OB floriental. I recently got a decant of PdM Safanad and I like it much more than that one. Bottom line: love it, if it were less expensive I'd buy it. As I near the end of my decant let's see what happens... Bought it.

I always liked “L’interdit” from Givenchy but it has some harshness that felt synthetic to me. Recently I smelled “Atlas Garden” from YSL exclusive line and I realized this has some similarities to “L’interdit” but much better and at the same time very different. It’s a very nicely blended fragrance. In the opening Atlas Garden has a almost gritty texture like when biting into a sugared date, very nice. The rest of the fragrance is very smooth. I did smelled it before reading about the notes and thought it had tuberose in it but from the notes listed on the website it hasn’t. Doesn’t matter because I just love it! It also has a nice salty aspect to it. I love salt notes in perfumes it works very well on my skin and adds a extra dimension to the fragrance. It is a lovely fragrance with a beautiful design. I’m just not sure about purchasing it because it’s very expensive and longevity on the skin is just ok. But I must say on clothes it is very long lasting. Edit; Finally bought it! It’s still amazing and longevity is great on the skin and clothes!

Oh. My. Goodness!!!!!! This is fantastic!!!! Why did I wait so long to try this beauty????? This is primarily Orange Blossom on my skin but there’s a tinge of something sweet to alleviate how floral this is. Because this is VERY FLORAL and if you don’t like florals (and white florals in particular), I would definitely stay away from Atlas Garden... There’s something slightly soapy as the perfume develops on my skin but in the best possible way. I absolutely love love love it!!! It is very beautiful, summery and classy. It projects adequately but it isn’t a bomb which I greatly appreciate. I am kind of reminded of Safanad by Parfums de Marly except Safanad is definitely sweeter, much sweeter than Atlas Garden... I would recommend trying it in a sample first as this is a strong white floral scent. All in all, a LOVE from me and I’ll be hunting for a full size bottle because I cannot get enough of it!!!🤍🤍 Edit: 8/3/22 just got a 4.25 oz bottle of this beauty!! I had to, it is such a mesmerizing scent! Big love from me🤍💛🤍💛🤍💛🤍

After sampling this fragrance at Harrods over Christmas time I decided to buy it. It is such a shame that there is very little interest in this very nice fragrance.This fragrance is perfect for cold weather up to springtime. I would use it sparingly comes summertime as that may be too much during a heatwave. In the opening moments you get an intense yet gorgeous orange blossom with some delicate sweetness from the tonka beans giving it a sweet vanillaesque accord to the perfume.The dry down is equally pleasing. Some very subtle lemongrass, rosy lemony and some green floral notes go back and forth thoughout the dry down. This fragrance has good projection and sillage and has great longevity on my skin. I can still smell it on my skin after 8 hours. It lasts longer on clothes. I can't wait for the weather to cool down to wear it more often. My 125ml bottle will last me a long time which is great. Overall another very good fragrance from YSL vestiaire des parfums line collection and a delightful oriental scent.

Masterpiece! Very unique scent, sweet, sensual and sophisticated. It does NOT smell like L’Interdit or Love Don’t be shy thankfully because I just can’t stand these scents! Yes, there are neroli and orange blossom but tonka beans, dates and ambroxan makes it very unique. To my nose it’s a mesmerizing tornado of sweet tasty dates and orange flowers and tonka beans, and some other goodness I can’t explain. But I keep smelling myself all the time, smelling the bottle, smelling my clothes. I wish this perfume stay unpopular so it can be my unique scent! But I also kind of wishing smelling it everywhere 😂 I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed any perfumes as much as I’m enjoying Atlas Garden! ❤️

CALLING ALL ORANGE BLOSSOM LOVERS!!!! Atlas Garden is one of my all time favorites. I can see why it's getting harder to find in the larger bottle (which I own). It opens with floral wafts of neroli, followed by light citrus and then the sweetness of the orange blossom and dates quickly sweep in. The sweet, dense syrupy feel of AG is oddly accompanied by a nutty nuance, perhaps the tonka, that gives it some restraint. @Silverquick also picked up on the nutty accord and I was delighted to see another "nose" experience what I did. Lovely to wear during mild and cooler temperatures. So, if you see this at a discounter, then grab it quick before it's gone!!!!

Thick honeyed Amber over strong orange blossom that has a nutty touch to it. Solar and yet interesting and not nose blistering either. I’m coming around to orange blossom / Neroli it’s always been too intense on my skin but here we get lightly soapy touches and woodiness breaking up that unctuous, chewy, date/honey vibe - I don’t get any bubblegum but I do expect bees to be busy buzzing near by and warm winds at my back. I get some notes from Tender light here (the date note) and from Libre Le Parfum (the honeyed smoothness but no lavender). It’s good all year round. But I get more of the fresh notes as it heats up. This is a big fragrance.

I absolutely love this. The orange blossom is prominent. Sweet, creamy but also airy. The dates are definitely there.. sweet, honeyed dates. And they make this more unique than a typical sweet orange blossom scent. I also get the mandarin orange a lot on my skin too. The Tonka really makes it shine in the dry down. And to me, the ambroxan makes it almost breezy, if that makes sense. It's very sweet, but not in a dense way - it’s sweet in an airy & breezy way. This is stunning! It'll work for all seasons too imo. I've been testing my decant and my full bottle will be delivered tomorrow.

This is my new love! I fell in love immediately with the first sniff. I've tried it on my skin few times before buying it. I've smelled most of the other YSL Vestiaire Collection perfumes and this definitely stands out with its uniqueness. With the opening I get gourmand notes and then it settles down a little bit more floral. I do not get anything like Alien, I think it's more generic than Atlas Garden. This is an all year round fragrance and could be definitely pulled out for both ladies and gentlemen. I recommend all the gourmand lovers to try out this fragrance!

OMG amazing! I purchased several samples and this (+ PDM Safanad) was thrown in for free based on my selections (what an angel!). This beat out Memo's Granada and Atelier des Ors Choeur des Anges for full bottle purchase of an orange blossom scent. Just perfection. The OB is most prominent but the dates and tonka bean makes it SO special. Easily a day scent but I would absolutely wear it out for warm evenings. Lasts more than 7 hours for me and projects pretty heavy for most of that time. Just a stunner. Highly recommend for OB lovers!

INSANE! I LOVE THIS! The best interpretation for orange blossom I have tried in a perfume. Doesn't smell dirty - the blend brings out the best part of the orange blossom which is the slight sweet bitterness. Here it is combined with dates and tonka which add sweetness and balance out the bitterness. The ambroxan gives it an almost airy quality. I adore this scent! I WOULD LEAVE PERFUME BUY REHAB FOR IT!

WOW! Beautiful!! You can use this year round, but maybe go easy on the trigger in summertime. Its this flowery and citrusy opening with some dates present (which keeps it from going too fem)... then it goes a little bubblegummy then back to and forth some... then the base notes come through to make it more well rounded. I really think this is awesome and well worth checking out. A hidden gem!

@rullaxoxo Sorry you're having challenges with Atlas Garden. Try layering it with Delina, Atomic Rose, Neroli Blanc Intense, Akro bake or any other bright, astringent citrus or tart rose as AG is very sweet by itself. And remember no more than 4 sprays of Atlas Garden as this is some potent juice and its potency will sneak up on you very quickly. Hope this helps!

Love it! Smelled it first on a lady and thought that it was supreme bouquet...quieter on her that on me. But no it was Atlas Garden. The sweet is just beautiful because it is more of the nutty kind that like a sweet sugar or vanilla. The flowers smell on me like white flowers not too overwhelming but the smell they have under the sun at their peak. Beautiful.

I wish I didn’t have to admit this, but it is identical to L’interdit. Sensed by the first spray, and was hoping to get a different development after that. But nope. For the sake of your bugdet, get L’interdit. They both last l-o-o-o-ng, but this one is 3x the price.

I thought this was like every other Orange Blossom fragrance (which I LOVE btw) but I was wrong. This has an EXTRA creaminess and thick sweetness from the dates. It is truly for gourmand lovers. It is truly special!

love this , its bold and sexy. similar to love dont be shy by Kilian but in my opinion Atlas Garden has more depth and personality.

(8 Nov 2023) First Impression : Atlas Garden from YSL Oriental is beautiful sexy Neroli / Orange Blossom scent. I think this the style of Neroli / Orange Blossom here leans Neroli Outrenoir by Guerlain Than bubble-Gummy sweetness from L'Interdit by Givenchy. The scent is semi-full body, it have dense side but still Transparent. Sexy in the way as Fresh, Sweet White Floral scent for everyday use. When the fragrance starts the Top & Base are kinda merge together. Leans Neroli than Orange Blossom and Sweetness is leans Fresh than Dry Fruit. Only Sweetness is shown, You don't get strong Fruity aspect from it. The scent remains Sweet White Sexy Floral very long time before it is transiting into Fresh Jasmine (?) kind of scent - Maybe Tonka, Orange Blossom kinda merge together. I don't get strong Tonka creamy aspect in this at all. Very easy to use, can be easily Sexy without demanding a lot of thing. I like it overall and I see I can repeatedly using this. Score 9/10 Longevity : Being sweet for 4-5 hours before crushing into fresh white floral scent after 6 hours, remains as skin scent Projection : Moderate Classification : Leans Femme Summary : The Sexy Neroli & Orange Blossom. ====== Atlas Garden from Le Vestiaire des Parfums Oriental by Yves Saint Laurent (USD 200) Pre-blind buy record I decided to blind-buy this as I find it is interesting concept of Sensual white citrus gourmand. It is only citrus type that I like unlike, pure citrus amber like Tygar or other. It might be sort of "Supreme Bouquet" the creamy Tuberose, very sweet and alluring. But it is also be airy like Tygar, but white floral and sweeten / goovy with date note. Let's see, as the scent from this house work quite well with my skin. I am bidding myself on this.

Atlas Garden is an orange blossom-dominant scent with an unusual, slightly jarring dates note adding caramelised sweetness to the base. Thanks to the orange blossom/neroli and synthetic amber drydown, it is reminiscent of several sweet, modern feminine scents like Givenchy L'Interdit or Prada Paradoxe. The dates note sets AG apart for me however, an unusual sort of sweetness than the generic vanilla drydown of the aforementioned designer scents. AG is orange-forward from initial spray, with bergamot adding a slight juicy tartness to the slightly syrupy orange blossom that dominates. The dates note emerges early, adding a dried fruit-like sticky sweetness, complementing the orange blossom. I get some Alien-like clean, synthetic jasmine in there too (I hate Alien, but here it isn't bad). The neroli is totally interchangeable with the orange blossom here - I struggle to differentiate between them here. It becomes slightly woody as it dries down, with some hazy, Play-Doh-like tonka bean adding soft spice. The ambroxan acts as a performing agent here - I don't get much of the heavy cloud effect, just a whisper in the background, while the hazy drydowh lasts for a good while. It fades to a musky, powdery haze of white floral remnants and tonka bean. Sillage is strong and longevity is long-lasting. A pleasant, slightly unusual riff on the fairly tired sweet orange blossom-forward scent, AG is a feminine-leaning white floral, transeasonal and pretty decent. It doesn't fully work for me, however - it is slightly too cloying. Still, I understand the appeal. 3/5.

Atlas Garden actually belongs in the Arabic tradition of perfumery. Its orange neroli halwa is more ittar than modern EDP, which is not entirely a bad look for YSL with its north African influences. The nutty tonka base to the date halwa is appreciated, but some acidity would have elevated the fragrance. The orange and neroli are trapped in a thick coating of oily sweetness, unable to live their best citrus life. But honestly, I don't mind this scent. I can appreciate it for its style and performance. (I do mind the bottle though, how tacky) Sillage is a nice, slightly excessive scent bubble. Lasts 5-6 hours, avoid overspraying.

Alien... That what comes to mind.. Not Baccarat 540 ore Love Killian at all.. I thought there was a lot of Jasmin in it, but its not listed and neither is Minte which I get in the opening. This is interesting and need some more time. First i DISliked it. It has a weird smell of minte/ jasmin bubllegum but it setlles and the notes gets more wellblended. Alien Edp in the drydown with some extra bubllegum sweetness I cant describe😁

This is SO SWEET, bubblegum-y and delicious. If you like a white floral + vanilla combo (e.g. Love dont be shy, L'interdit, my way etc.), you'll like this one. This is very heavy on the dates note (dates are sweeter than vanilla imo), easily a crowd pleaser. This is probably the best smelling one from this gold bottle collection, but it's not unique or exotic in any way.

It's a sweet orange blossom floral perfume. Def does give LDBS vibes in the sense that its sweet and orange blossom. they arent the same, but when i smelled this, i wasnt wowed. This isnt a life altering unique scent. It's nice and if you dont have LDBS yet, then i do like this one way more. But with such a similar vibe you dont need both. Its nice but not a must have.

Opens in a 'Love Don't Be Shy' kinda a way, but the sweetness is different-- not marshmallow, but a yummy deep date that's warm and airy, not sticky, and then ends like L'Interdit.

This is very orange blossom and sesame heavy. The dates aren’t honeyed, caramelized and to be quite honest, I forgot about the note existing in the fragrance

Atlas Garden was the fragrance that made me realize orange blossom is not my thing (most fragrances that I decluttered mainly contain this note). It is an orange blossom-heavy perfume. I do get the similarity to L'interdit, especially in the opening, which was quite enjoyable, a little bit bubblegummy with the right amount of sweetness. However, as it develops, I'm slowly getting the Alien vibe, which is headache inducing. The orange blossom becomes headier and soapier. I don't find this fragrance extremely sweet like some other people mentioned, but I do get the stickiness and gooeyness from the dates throughout the wear. Together with the ambroxan note, it just didn't give me a pleasant experience...In saying that, it's still worth trying if you love white floral and gourmand notes. It's an elegant perfume but with a gourmand touch. I do appreciate each creation from the Le Vastiaire line. Each single of them has their own uniqueness, but surprisingly underrated!

I love this line from Ysl. I purchased Atlas Garden from Neiman Marcus and initially loved it. The opening is gorgeous. White flowers, orange blossoms and some hints of a gourmand. As it starts to dry down the florals fade and bits of salty fig notes come through more and more. Ultimately, started to really smell like popcorn to me. I wanted to love it, but I didn’t want to smell like popcorn.

This is kinda mediocre. Smells generic but a bit different. White floral and sweetness is what I get.

I chose to wear Atlas Garden as it was labelled as being a tonka and a quick sniff to the nozzle was suggesting a biscuit/cookie scent. It first it was a toasted, sweet browned cookie with a little white floral just beginning to creep in. But it takes such a loud and screeching turn as the orange blossom/neroli and ambroxan begin to amplify so loudly that Atlas Garden smells almost like a tuberose soliflore in the first hour. It’s so screechy in that first hour that I wanted to wash this off. It reminds me of the white floral aspect of Poison. The dry-down is much calmer as it becomes an oriental amber-vanilla with more gentle white florals and now reminds me of Thameen’s Royal Sapphire. I think if you love/loved Poison and want a modernised version, then try Atlas Garden. Longevity is excellent as it’s still on the sleeve of my woollen jacket days later.

Omg blind bought ,this after reading all the reviews, that say it's sweet and magical and I absolutely can't stand it. Has this bubble gum scent to it. It reminds me of an airplane cabin. I really don't like it , no offense to the people who do like it. It is a unisex perfume. Gave it to a friend who liked it.

I find this kind of disgusting lol. the date smell just doesn’t sit right with me. it’s too heavy, thick and cloying and also extremely sweet/food-like. this would weigh you down in the summer heat. much rather eat it than wear it

Top 10 if not top 5 fragrances of all time imo It’s sweet and citrus in an excellent way, the dates in there is just remarkably genius, def the best dates frag I’ve put my nose on, the tonka bean and vanilla is very light in there. I could be wrong but I think I smell saffron in there which makes the frag floral. On the dry down the vanilla emerges for me along with mandarin, I smell no amber at all. Performance is very good, no complaints. Please note: Somebody in the comments mentioned that the frag smells like bubblegum. The person’s not wrong, the bubblegum scent appears only in the opening, but then it gets sweeter because of the dates so I don’t worry about it. It’s a unisex frag, perfectly suitable for both genders. Do not blind buy this. 11/10

I wanted this fragrance solely based on the notes for years, even though I had never smelled it. My husband ended up gifting it to me for Valentines several years ago. I’ve tried to make this work so many times, but I still dislike it. It doesn’t mix well with my body chemistry. It doesn’t even work on clothes. The only time I get away with wearing this is in extremely cold, breezy weather so it doesn’t feel as heavy. It’s too sickly sweet, cloying, thick, and dense. It smells a little bit like baklava or Arabic sweets, which sounds lovely, but it doesn’t translate well upon wearing. If you guys have any layering combos that makes this more wearable, please share.

Aaaaaam why no one talks about this one? And how similar it is to kilian love don’t be shy at dry down. That orange blossom and vanilla sweetness and tonka. This absolutely gorgeous, what a awesome blind buy. I’m so happy I did blind buy it. It’s gorgeous, slightly reminds me of Safanad PDM and benevolence by sillage too. If you enjoy those two, you will absolutely love this one. The orange blossom with vanilla sweetness, tonka adds that addicting accord. So it’s nothing new but very beautiful and crowd pleasing. Pretty sure will be a great compliment getter too. I just love the dry down.

Beautiful, well blended oriental floral. Signature scent worthy for sure. Good longevity on skin (6 hours), however only soft sillage. To me that’s a bit of a deal braker, considering how expensive Atlas Garden is. To be fair, I’m only testing it from a small dabber sample, so perhaps a smooth mist from a bottle would go a longer way. Overall, Atlas Garden is a stunning, seductive blend of tonka and orange, and I would love to have it as part of my collection some day. Indeed a bit similar to L’intredit, but way nicer.

The memory of a macaron in a floral garden on a sunny day. At first it's ropes of black licorice in a crystal goblet, a sophisticated bright bitter sugar. Then it opens up to a tea party with sweet pastries, particularly heavy on almond. There is a nice sillage in the first hour, but at the end of day it's reduced to just a pleasing sweet ambroxan musk that clings to your skin. A great pick for floral gourmand fans who don't mind a slice of citrus in their drink.

This perfume is not discontinued. It's not sold in Nordic countries anymore tho, for whatever reason, but I guess it's still on sale everywhere else. :) Just ordered some samples from DecantX. Really nice, feminine, sweet and flowery scent. But in my experience, sadly, it's doesn't last very long... It stays on hair and clothes nicely, but bit poorly on skin. Also stays more as a close scent, does not reach far, unfortunately.

This is an extremely sweet fragrance. But the sweetness is not so generic like most other orange blossom gourmands these days and I believe it’s thanks to the date note in here. Longevity and projection is decent. While I do like it, I have been finding this type extremely sweet – orange blossom fragrances quite nauseating recently.

Not discontinued, just talked to a YSL representative and some YSL sale associates and they all confirmed that its still very much being made/sold. Amazing scent, people of North African descent will adore this as it strongly smells like wedding almond cakes, almond paste and sweet baklava syrup

Sultry, mature sexy l'Interdit. Very "night time" fragrance. It has almost animalistic quality, like there is an Iris undertones deep down. Very cozy snuggly sweet scent, not overly sweet though. Not something I would reach for often but I can definitely appreciate it for what it is.

It’s absolout not worth the money! Not longlasting and NO one can smell me. Buy givenchy l interdit it’s cheaper and have a monster sillage! Because this smells exakt like l interdit .

Amazing yummy fragrance with good performance. I love smelling this on myself it’s so good 💕 I think it can work in any season 😊
