Black Opium Hair Mist

I'm really surprised that I like this hair mist so much. I should mention that I do not like the original Black Opium, I don't detest it, but I would never wear it either. However, this hair mist doesn't have any of the notes that irritate me in the original fragrance and the soft notes do linger quite a bit on my skin and hair. I would recommend this perfume to the ladies who would like a sweeter/ softer/ lighter smelling version of the BO.

If Black Opium was a person, I would feel bad for her because of all of the hate. I actually think B.O (lol @ acronym) is a solid Millennial-GenZ fragrance. I always kind of have. It's not something I feel like I need to own, but I'll be damned if I claim it's overrated. With success comes notoriety...I suppose, and that's what has transpired with this fragrance. Because man, is this an easy fragrance to pull off! Pretty, PRETTY, clean white florals, light coffee (not as heavy as I'd prefer, but please note...I'm nucking futz and probably an outlier), white musk, clean woods and just enough herbal patchouli (clean patchouli). It's so balanced, it's so delicious. I haven't given any credit to this fragrance in ages, in fact...I forget about it. Maybe a lot of us do? It's still solid though, and a hair mist is a great way to wear this without the commitment (or, maybe to use alongside perfume for a boost). I don't think this is a really different from the perfume, but different concentrations/formulas highlight different notes, which is what I suspect is going on with some peoples' perception of this.

Does not smell anything like Black Opium. This is more floral. No coffee note prominent to my nose. Decent lasting power. Short in sillage.

Sigh, blindly bought this and unfortunately it gives me a headache (every time) withen minutes. It smells beautiful, very strong. Way too strong for myself, but if you are ok with any scent this maybe for you. I have learned to stay away from woody deep scents. Not for me, maybe for you tho.

Absolutely love this hair mist. The bottle is beautiful and a great size for my bag. Unfortunately I can’t wear the original Black Opium as I find it too strong and it gives me a headache however I’ve always loved smelling it on others so this hair mist gives me the best of both worlds. I use eight sprays on hair skin and clothes in the morning and reapply in the afternoon. It has the lasting power of a philosophy EDT.
