As it begins drying down the lush jasmine sambac and sweet and citrusy orange blossom intertwine with the top notes. The dry down is really beautiful with lots of rich and sensual vanillas, a boozy vanilla bourbon, rich and earthy coffee, delicate and powdery vanilla orchid, and just a touch of patchouli adding to the depth. This is really well balanced and blended. The notes that are the most prominent on me are the vanillas, coffee, cinnamon, and pear, followed by the orange blossom and green mandarin. This is such a gorgeous fragrance! It’s my favorite of the entire Black Opium line, as well as my favorite YSL fragrance! I’m not a huge fan of the OG, although I do own it. I also own the Glitter flanker as well as this Le Parfum version, and love both of them. I do think that it’s quite similar to Kayali Vanilla 28 (1 of my top favorites!), but obviously this has the addition of the coffee accord. This reads as a smooth and creamy vanilla latte with lots of cream, and sprinkled with cinnamon. The fruity and floral notes are noticeable, but overall I definitely get a vanilla latte vibe. Le Parfum is quite vanilla forward without being overpowering. The other notes really do enhance the vanillas as well as adding an interesting and delightful twist to them. This feels gourmand, but not over the top, or too overly sweet. It’s something that I imagine to be loved by a wide variety of people. I do think that it’s quite similar to Kayali Vanilla 28 (1 of my top favorites!), but obviously this has the addition of the coffee accord. Le Parfum feels quite feminine to me, and like it’s suitable for women of all ages. I really love this for the colder weather of fall and winter, but it also works during the very early spring, as well as nighttime. It feels fitting for all occasions from casual, to work and/or school, to date nights, and fancier occasions, as well as even a signature scent. This really is such a perfect date night fragrance! I get excellent performance with Black Opium Le Parfum. The longevity is fantastic, it lasts throughout the day on me. The projection is great, it radiates out a few feet from me. I do actually consider this to be a pretty good value since it smells incredible and has such great performance. A little goes a long way, so it really does last for a good amount of time. Beautiful, sweet, warm spicy, creamy, warm, floral, powdery, boozy, fruity, feminine, sensual, sexy, seductive, sultry, mysterious, classy, elegant, sophisticated, intoxicating, delicious, delightful, smooth, rich, cozy, comforting On me this opens sweet and fruity with a sprinkle of warm and spicy cinnamon, syrupy sweet pear, a whisper of bright, citrusy mandarin, with lush jasmine and citrusy floral orange blossom, and warm, creamy, sensual vanilla. As it dries down the fruity and floral notes fade, but the warm, smooth, and creamy vanilla stays intertwined throughout, taking center stage while growing deeper, more rich, and more boozy with the vanilla bourbon. I also get some powdery vanilla orchid, just a soft touch of coffee, and a hint of patchouli which adds to the depth. This is very vanilla forward, with just a subtle touch of coffee, and not much patchouli, so it’s quite different from the OG Black Opium. I was never a big fan of the OG, so it took me a while to try this one since I thought it would be too similar to the OG. You can imagine my delight at finding out how different this flanker was from the OG, as well as how vanilla centered it was. I’m a huge vanilla fan, and own a large variety of different vanillas, so this fit perfectly into my collection (I also own the Glitter flanker which I love, and the OG). I was surprised to discover that this reminded me quite a lot of one of my favorites, Kayali Vanilla 28. This feels very feminine to me, and would suit women of any age. With its warmth and depth this definitely works best during the fall and winter, although it works nicely as a nighttime scent due the spring as well. I also find this to be fitting for all occasions, from casual, to work and/or school, to date nights and fancier occasions. I get exceptional performance with Black Opium Le Parfum. The longevity is fantastic, it lasts throughout the entire day on me, and I can still smell it the next morning. The projection is very nice, it radiates out at least a few feet from me. I do consider this to be a good value because of how incredible it smells, and its excellent performance. Since a little goes a long way, this will last a long time. The original Black Opium was one of my first "big-girl" perfumes when I was 18. I loved it at the time, but for whatever reason, never re-purchased or thought about this line again. Until now. Now I feel like I've been missing out and I'm tempted to take a look at some of the others. Black Opium Le Parfum is pure magic in a bottle. From the very first spritz, it wraps you in a deliciously creamy, intoxicating aroma that feels both effortlessly chic and undeniably sexy. It’s the kind of scent that turns heads, earns compliments, and leaves an unforgettable impression. The rich, deep vanilla and creamy coffee notes create a warm, gourmand depth, while the white florals add a sophisticated elegance. It’s smooth, slightly mysterious, and lingers beautifully on the skin. I wish it was a touch stronger, but I honestly don't mind reapplying. Whether I’m cosying up in a cashmere sweater for a daytime outing to a coffee shop with the girls or slipping into a mini dress and heels for a night on the town, this scent adapts perfectly. It’s versatile yet distinctive, the ultimate confidence booster. My fiancé adores this on me. He can smell it when he's downstairs and I'm adding the finishing touches to my makeup. I always get a "damn, I can smell you from down here" comment, haha. There’s something about Black Opium Le Parfum that just exudes allure - sensual yet polished, playful yet refined. 10/10—an absolute must-have.

This is the true vanilla Queen, or "King." I'd suggest men to try it if you like vanilla. It's truly unisex and great for layering. Black Opium Le Parfum even puts its other YSL fragrance babycat to shame! Althair PDM, Burberry Goddess, Pi Givenchy, Vanilla 28, Mercedes-Benz Club Black's, All pale in comparison! The coffee in this is deceptive because the vanilla is so strong the coffee adds depth but without true coffee notes, it's truly a great fragrance and my heart breaks for men too afraid to try this! Start By layering it, if you're a guy already using a vanilla fragrance add a spray of Le Parfum Black Opium, it makes helps your other fragrances sing! My personal favorite is Givenchy Pi & Black Opium LP or Althair plus YSL Black Opium LP! It also mixed well with both Mercedes-Benz Club blacks... if you want a true vanilla extract use Vanilla 28 plus Black Opium, you will think of me if you do! I've even made women start buying male marketed Vanilla fragrances once they see the results with these combos! Burberry goddess goes with it great too! It also is MAGIC with gourmand and woody fragrances, if you're on the fence, get the travel size and enjoy the combinations, this is also the Queen/King of layering, not just vanilla! The Vanilla Queen is Black Opium Le Parfum! Last long, great projection & truly undefeated!

What can I say... this is a softer yet more intoxicating version of the og black opium, and as I soon as I smelt the tester, it became my signature scent. I always wear this to work: just one spray, dab it on my neck with my wrists and it lasts the entire shift, even the next day I can still smell it on my wrists, and I have to say, I have a tough ph and the vast majority of perfumes don't smell as i expect them to on me. I don't even layer it, it works by itself. It is cozy, very sugary, warm and vanillary. It projects nicely, from moderate to intimate as hours pass by. Someone wrote something about being reminiscent of an aphrodisiac, and I relate to that, it's so nice it puts a smile on your face. A song match for this baby is "Black Beauty" by Lana del Rey or "G.U.Y" by Lady Gaga. The lingering sweetness in the air everytime you pass by feels like a reward. If you didn't like the original Black Opium I suggest you to give a shot to this flanker, since it doesn't have any smokiness from the og and I don't perceive much coffee from it neither. Edit: this is such a bomb, it doesn't even need maceration. It has four types of vanilla: makes sense, seems like they added a whole bag of sugar on purpose. Extremely sweet and gourmand, an eye-rolling type of pleasure lol. Please try it out.

No hyperbole, this is the best vanilla in the game. Period. Take your $300+ niche vanillas and bench them in favour of this one. This one has it all: it’s sexy but not trashy, it lasts on skin and has enough throw for a parfum concentration without being offensive to others, and, it’s reasonably priced. Forget Kelis, this one brings the men to the yard, not the boys. I believe a lot of people—especially the perfume aficionados—underestimate the strength and longevity of their own perfumes. This one is no exception; easily 12+ hours longevity with initimate projection for your beau after the four hour mark. This is too sexy for work but you do you. If I knew a woman who was wearing this to work, I’d want to get closer and perhaps I’d have to quit or get fired, whichever comes first. It’s that good. Don’t pigeonhole yourself and limit wearing this to a certain season or time of year, either. Break hearts and manipulate minds year round, ladies! Bang for your buck is high with this one. It’s special. But don’t take my word for it, get out there and do the legwork for yourself. Sample, sample, sample, and sample some more! Do it for free, too! Never pay for samples! I hope you enjoy this one as much as I do and you’re able to unlock the magic for yourself!

Im making another review of this, because I have to. This is after letting my bottle sit a few months. Ill admit I was not about it at first, then I tried again spraying on my skin, the next time I used it I used the whole sample and here we are. I have tried hundreds of perfumes, hell theres a makeup bag in my bathroom filled with only samples. This is it, this is my perfect sexy vanilla. Reminds me of how dark chocolate tastes, smooth and rich. It makes me want to wear all black again, sweet and mysterious. I literally have to make myself use my other fragrances. After a couple hours the wiffs I start to detect something a little fruity among the vanilla, the pear maybe? I adore it. The coffee keeps it from being too sweet but isnt bitter either, and I don’t even like coffee but this balances it so well. It doesn’t do a-lot because it doesn’t have to, this girl is hot but down to earth, she is sweet but she has secrets, soft but independent. I have tried so many vanillas from body spray to niche but this is it. I don’t know if its just on my skin but it sticks to me and warms into something delicious, sweet but grown, cozy and alluring. My favorite vanilla and among the longest lasting in my personal collection, dark and delicious love love love it.

I have yet to find Black Opium or any of its flankers as anything less than a *LOVE* for me, so take my review with a grain of salt if you're more of a fragrance-skeptic. This line, I swear. I could bathe in this stuff. ❤ It definitely has the DNA of the OG, but the Le Parfum version has more depth, and is more creamy and sexy than the OG. It's not as sweet as "Glitter," nor as figgy as "Illicit Green;" it's more vanilla-forward, which I love, along with coffee and powdery notes, and even a bit of licorice, which I know isn't even in the notes. Yet it doesn't strike me as a full-on "gourmand." I'm thankful the cinnamon has been really throttled back (in fact, I can't even smell it) because I have FAR too many fragrances that are so screechingly cinnamon-heavy (talkin to you, middle eastern fragrances), that I have to psych myself up, or really be in the mood, to wear them. BO_LP is cozy, yummy, and smells like being wrapped in a fluffy sweater warm out of the dryer....or a full-body hug. There's just something in it that (for me) is highly addictive. I absolutely adore it, but at its still very high price point, I'm now on the hunt for a decent dupe (anyone have any tips for me)? Until then, my tiny travel size vial will have to do. 🙁

I got this perfume as my own birthday gift, i’ve smelled it so many times in stores and just knew it was good but i had no idea it was THIS GOOD before i owned it. It has 3 or 4 types of vanillas and rich coffee note which blends so beautifully and sexy. This perfume is my FAVORITE from all the perfumes i own, i’d rate it as 1billion/10!!! I’ve gotten so many compliments like for example, when i first bought it i knew nothing about layering perfumes so i just put it on without any other perfumes and my friend told me he got the smell before even coming close to me, another day i put hypnotic poison first, then this and then 1 spray of burberry goddess on top and my other friend told me he also got the smell before coming near me and he could smell me the entire time he was with me 😭😭😭 and also my cousin said it smelled so mature and attractive. Its a type of perfume that would suit someone who’s REALLY mature, someone who enjoys “deep” scents and not the easy ones. Someone also said it smells like “cough syrup” and why do we like smelling like cough syrup but no!!!!!! It smells so good like this is crazy, i’ve never smelled anything better and the whole ysl black opium line is my favorite but especially THIS.

I'm rewriting my original review of Black Opium "Le Parfum" after initially buying a full bottle back In March 2025. Back then, Le Parfum was a "meh, it's just okay." Re-experiencing the perfume lately, it is practically a love. So, now I understand Le Perfum is NOT a coffee-centric fragrance. And with my heavy gourmand phase in my rear-view mirror, I'm good!! Le Parfum opens with spicy citrus, some cinnamon and a creamy vanilla mix of white floral mid-notes (jasmine and orange blossom). In short time, the perfume develops with a creamy, slightly boozy, spicy-vanilla base and (what I determine to be) musk. On my skin, the base carries an organic, earthy, bitter nuance to it, which I imagine are orange blossom leaves, their petals and stems. Perhaps it's the orange blossom in its whole and a tad bit of coffee that gives this fragrance a roasted, or toasted nuance. I SWEAR I detect some musk in the fragrance. And to my nose, the coffee notes are in the background. This perfume is all about spicy vanilla, lovely non-indolic mixed white florals and a wee-bit of coffee. Wish it projected a bit better and lasted a wee-bit longer, though. But I am really loving Le Parfum!

L, O, V, E: LOVE. it is so enchanting, it is SO sensual and hypnotic. i get a tiny bit less coffee from this than the original version, but it's there for sure. i just think vanilla is the star of the show here. ever since i was a kid i used to love how my mom's best friend's hair smelled, i would bury my face in her hair and just sniff it LOL. since i've gotten into perfume i have been searching for whatever that smell could possibly be in a perfume and, so far, this is the closest. to me it's a lovely smell that i find nostalgic, comforting, and ...expensive. it costs a pretty penny. i don't think i will ever actually own this perfume in a full size BUT! i'll be damned if i don't go visit my favorite woman at the perfume counter at the mall and trade chocolate samples from my store for a handful of black opium le parfum sample sprays. she's my GOAT! always giving me the hook up on good perfume samples! anyway, it is full bottle worthy if you want something addictive, and i agree with the comment below that this is somewhat of an aphrodisiac of a scent. you'll turn heads from whoever you want to impress. but again, BIG love, love, loveeee!

Le Parfum is my favourite of the YSL Black Opium line. If you find the other Black Opium scents just a bit too floral, lavendery &/or strong but feel like if they were a bit more gourmand they would be something amazing Le Parfum is the Black Opium for you. It is so beautifully balanced & intoxicating it really draw you in without being overpowering. I smell a syrupy baked pear, orange & an impossibly smooth cinnamon. There is a background of floral orange blossom but the kind that us gourmand loving floral hating girls actually like. Then on the dry down the vanilla, oh the vanilla it is so good, probably the most beautiful smelling vanilla I have ever experienced. I could see even vanilla haters converted. If you're worried about the bourbon vanilla don't be it doesn't smell boozy at all just warm and sexy. On dry down you also get a nutty coffee note elevating the vanilla like the way salt in desserts makes them better but you don't necessarily notice it is there for sure. This is one of those scents that you could wear day or night in any season, it is smooth and classic with a hint of mystery.

I’m a firm believer that if you really love a perfume you should wear it whatever age you are and whenever the hell you like. That said, I generally don’t choose to wear this in the summer as it feels a little too heavy, but any other time of the year is fair game. This is the closest I have to a signature perfume these days, and is my go to if I can’t decide. Olivier Cresp is my favourite perfumer - there’s not much he’a been involved in the creation of that I don’t like. If I’m honest, this is so well blended that none of the individual notes particularly stand out, but in the dry down it’s the most beautifully rounded, soft and deep complex vanilla, with a strong coffee note. It always elicits compliments, and i’ve known people buy it after asking me what I was wearing. It’s an ageless scent - more cozy than the og (which I’m not a huge fan of) and well worth the investment. I’ve tested some very expensive perfumes over the years, but few stand up to this, it really is gorgeous. Having just seen Janellemarie’s review, I’ll have to try it in this current heatwave! 😂

Smooth vanilla and coffee define this fragrance! Its a very "cold" scent at first, something I associate heavily with fall and winter scents It never becomes explicitly floral or spicy; the vanilla and coffee dominate the scent! But it does become a little more complex as it dries down. I get more hints of pear and cinnamon over time, and the longer it sits, it turns lightly boozy and soft white florals peek through~ Its soooo smooth and delicious! Its as sleek and shiny of a scent as its gorgeous bottle ♡ Its a scent for luscious shiny hair and a bold lip, decked out in some leather? Its classic and feminine, but with a playful edge~ A great cozy scent that could be worn day or night! While its much more simplistic than the original, its still elegantly blended and so classy~ I prefer it to the original, but I usually gravitate towards simpler scent pyramids for the sake of avoiding headaches ^^;

My girlfriend bought this parfum for me as a gift and I really liked it. It definitely ears more on the slightly female scent profile, however, as an androgynous scent it works well. The scent has a good mix of vanilla and coffee, but at the same time the floral scents really stood out and mixed well with the vanilla. The coffee scent rounded it out to male the floral not overwhelming and led it to be more androgynous rather than a heavily female leaning scent. I have not tried layering it with other perfumes, however, I feel as if it may overpower other scents. It is a long lasting parfum that sticks well to the skin and moderately well to clothing. After wearing it at work for 9 hours, my girlfriend always told me she could still smell my parfum. Overall, yes a somewhat pricey scent, however, for what you are getting and how long you can stretch the parfum it is definitely worth it.

This is my favourite version of all the scents in the YSL Black Opium range, what with the strong sweet vanilla base, but definitely not worth all the hype/price. My first Le Parfum i've bought, so I thought it would last and linger, but sadly after about 5 hours it's vanished off me entirely. It applies beautifully, and smells amazing when it first settles. My partner walked into the house and could smell me from the front door yesterday when he got home. I can usually smell this perfume on me for the first 2 hours, but then it vanishes. My partner can still smell it, but it sits very intimately. He needs to have his nose right up against my skin to smell it. By hour 6 it's completely gone. I love this, and i'll wear it until the bottle is done, but I won't repurchase it. There are better, longer lasting vanilla fragrances on the market that I'm eager to try.

YES. YES. love at first sniff. somehow i love this even more than the original black opium. you have this sweet, bright opening with pear, jasmine, and orange blossom. theres also just a touch of cinnamon that adds some warmth and spiciness before everything is whisked away and melted into a rich gourmand base. with the emphasis on decadence, the vanilla is creamy, syrupy, almost dessert-like, but rounded out with a deep, blended coffee note. everything about this is feminine and romantic and luxurious and BEAUTIFUL and SEXY. black opium le parfum is the darker, sultrier, more mysterious older sister of black opium the og - less flirty, more seductive. the only perfume i will be buying a full bottle of before finishing the tester. edit: two spritzes behind my ears yesterday for a date night and i can still smell it 24 hours later. take that as you will.

BUY THIS PERFUME. I was really excited to smell the Eau De Parfum version (The one with the see-through circle) but I was really disappointed at the initial smell after hearing so much commotion about it. However, I picked this one up I could NOT get it out of my mind. I had smelled around 15-18 perfumes that day, but that was the only one that really left a huge impact on me and my boyfriend, and I proceeded to buy it as I left Sephora. If you are looking for a sexy, bold fall/winter perfume. This is the one. I feel like if I walked into a room with this on it would just announce my presence. That being said it was not overwhelming either! It was actually so addictive. It's the kind of perfume you pick up just to smell as you go throughout your day. And of course, men love it. My boyfriend actually picked it up and was like "This is the best one".

This is my favorite of the black opium line. The original, to me, was somehow cloying. This one opens up with a note that reminds me of carmex, but I don’t mind it because my dad used to slather on the carmex when I was little in the winter and we would go sledding or ice skating or some other fun thing-I guess it’s nostalgic. This does fade rather quickly however and it becomes a warm and comforting vanilla, somehow without being too sweet which is a miracle given that there are four vanillas in here. I had a clerk in a store tell me I smelled delicious, like candy. I don’t find this to be a candy smell, but it is a fruity vanilla, think pear not berry. Back to the carmex note, Mugler Angel does this on me only much more pungent and I never get past it.

We went on a little scent spree again (We being my girlfriend and I). I took notes on some of the highest rated scents that were readily available like: Burberry Goddess, Kilian, Tom Ford, etc. We both concluded that we liked this scent the most of the all those with higher ratings. The Le Parfum was the best of the black opium line in our opinion. She said it sort of reminded her of flowerbomb which is one of my favorites as well, she said it feels more sophisticated though. I mean I like both Flowerbomb and Black Opium and they're distinct from one another, but I can see the similarity. She has Dior Poison which is also listed as a Vanilla heavy scent, but I don't think Poison and Black Opium are that alike either.

An attack of vanilla on all fronts. For me, that's a good thing. I sprayed this on over 24 hours ago, and I can still smell this on the hoodie I was wearing yesterday. It doesn't change much throughout it's wear, but I do smell it differently sometimes. Sometimes it feels like a straight up thick bakery vanilla, sometimes it's boozy, sometimes I'm reminded of Vanilla 28, and sometimes I smell Easter bunny chocolate (?). I hardly get any of the original BO, and if I didn't know it, I would never guess this was a flanker. It's really a dark and thick boozy vanilla with that slight *designer* perfumyness to it. I would say it's somewhat similar to Vanilla 28, but that one's got an incensy tone to it.

Beautiful and comforting. The florals are waaaaay dialed back, vanilla amplified . In the opening there is a tinge of mandarins that mixes beautifully with a very subtle cinnamon. Creamy , delicious vanilla that gets deeper and more intense as it dries. To me, the coffee here comes off more like chocolate- so yummy- probably the patchouli coming off chocolate. Forgot to add that the jasmine does peak out a bit- and it comes off a tinge indolic on my skin . Which is find so sexy. That bit alone makes this my fave Black Opium. This is delicious, cozy and a bit sexy. While it lasts quite a long time on me, projection is pretty soft , which makes it a great cuddle or intimate date night scent

Everything I said about the original Black Opium, but creamier. The EDP is perfect all year round, for cold weather, day to night. Le Parfum is perfect for FALL through New Years, any NIGHT OUT actually. If you're a gourmand lover, you will LOVE this one. This smells like a very luxurious cup of Chocolate Abuelita, made with milk, cinnamon, and a shot of espresso. BOLD, sexy, sweet and classy. Still, Dark Academia & Rich Daddy's GIRL. Hermione Granger's signature scent. “It's leviOsa, not levioSaaa!” I really love it. Coffee is more prominent in this one. Not an in your face kinda coffee. It's there, but in a sensual way. BISOUS

Han, honey. Designer fragrances are not luxurious - at least not anymore. They are meant to be an easy reach and relatable nowadays, so I don’t get your point. Calling it “dusty-as* vanilla” was rude indeed, no matter what you think, just say it nicely. There are a lot of people who truly enjoy BO LP (like me) and listen: I have NOTHING against Lush. They are an amazing brand and I own Sticky Dates and wear it wholeheartedly, but please, comparing anything Lush to this version of BO is outlandish! Anyway, mind your words when talking about personal things such as perfumes next time. That’s my point. To each their own, I guess!

I recently bought samples of the various BO options (intense, over red, illicit green, EDP and ofc le parfum). This one is the best by far. The opening doesn't give me a headache like the others. The dry down of the multiple vanillas is so pleasing to me. I can smell it on myself, which is rare for me as I don't think many perfumes project well off my skin. I will try the others types if I can get samples, but I will deffo get a big bottle of the le perfum. I am hoping to pair it with my other vanilla based perfumes. I feel sophisticated in this. Probably an evening scent, but I like to wear scents I like for all occasions.

The opening is similar to the original in the fruity opening but with less orange blossom. It smells more like you’ve opened a bottle of real vanilla extract and added a splash of juice. It warms to have a rich, spiced vanilla fragrance which sits closer to the skin than the original. It feels like the Black Opium I’d wear when I want to cozy up in a booth at a bar or even by the fireplace in a cabin. Where the original is an attention seeking fragrance which projects from you, this is more of a draw others in closer because they want some more scent. It smells more expensive than the original. I’m really enjoying this!

This is such a beautiful scent, but I did have to allow it to macerate for a bit to get more of the vanilla smell. To me, this is more of a skin scent than a powerhouse. Very moderate projection unless you spray from head to toe. Yet it also has enough of a projection to be captivating.. Mysterious even.This is one of those scents that capture someone’s attention as you walk passed. I do get the orange blossom, as well as the Jasmine and the patchouli. So well blended though. I love it for days when I am NOT in the mood for a beast mode fragrance, but still want to smell delicious. This is one of my favorite flankers

I LOVE THIS. I smelled this and i FELL INLOVE. I love vanilla and this is one of thr best things ive ever smelled, bc my bottle is newer i can smell the vanilla and the orchid the most but i do also smell the coffee. It smells like divine vanilla and im all here for it. I let my best friend smell it and she loved it on me, said that was the best perfume she ever smelled on me, and i agree w her. I genuinely cant begin to explain how much i love this, its smth thats grown on me so much and i use it every single day, it‘s become my signature perfume and i get so many comliments wearing it. 💋💋💋💋

This is my second Black Opium, after Over Red, which I was wearing last winter and loved. I was surprised by the bright, citrusy, and zingy opening. As the perfume started to dry down, I could smell the vanilla coming through and a very, very light hint of coffee. Within one hour of spraying, the coffee note becomes stronger. The drydown is opulent sweet vanilla, white flowers, mainly orange blossom, and a touch of coffee. Longevity is average on me, around 4 hours. This perfume has an extremely comforting smell to me; I love it. Another wonderful creation by Mr. Cresp. Gorgeous ✨️ 🧁🍊☕️🖤

This is the deepest richest version of this line. I love it the most. I guess I do have expensive taste. It’s thick without being cloying. Vanilla warm and deep. It’s pricy, but does feel worth it even if it’s steep. The quality is reflected in that price. It’s just such a well constructed and delightful scent. Would almost feel straightforward- to an untrained nose. I think it’s a beautiful scent any day and at any time- if you want to smell expensive and refined. It lasts well on fabric, and on the skin. Lasts all day without ever being overpowering- even if you spray it several times.

I adore it. this is THE vanilla for me. stunning blend, it's so hot. literally it's very warm, inviting and just flows perfectly. When I was sleeping the first night I wore it (after a date) I kept waking up from the scent and being reminded of how good it smells. this is one of those perfumes where you smell them on your skin and think ,,oh god" cause it's that delicious. It's grown but also the perfect amount of sweet. I've been going to a rough time lately and been smelling/spraying it just to comfort me. It's like a hug but also very sexy. just a hot vanilla girl masterpiece overall

the undisputed best of the black opium line. the vanilla here is LUXURIOUS. its so sweet and rich and the hint of coffee really blends it together. its just so deep and sexy. I've tried this in the warmer weather and will say this has to be reserved for cold seasons. its very heavy and lasts for a great amount of time. every other black opium i've tried, i've compared it to this one and none of them quite hold up apart from over red which is the le parfum with an added cherry note. phenomenal performance and amazing quality. i pray they never discontinue this one.

Love herrrr - such a deep, delicious sultry vanilla. This is the OG black opium DNA with the coffee, patchouli and spice dialled down a little and the vanilla amped way up. Not an ultra sweet cakey vanilla, more like a creamy, deep vanilla. It’s a bit softer and much smoother than the original too. I feel like this version is more simple and therefore less polarising. I find it much more beautiful and definitely more wearable day to day than the original. If you enjoy Kayali Vanilla 28 then you will likely enjoy this too, it has some similarities.

I absolutely love it, it’s a shame that it doesn’t last, moderate in terms of 2-3 hours and maybe with some luck longer on clothes then pray for some whiffs .. the initial spray it’s pure vanilla heaven and I’m addicted to it, this is too good I promise but not worth the price giving what it has to offer. And no, it doesn’t smell like Vanille Absolu from Montale, i have both. This is just so beautiful but fades quickly and you need to keep reapplying. If anyone knows a real good copy of this please tell me also, I really love it🥺..

Super soft, creamy, fluffy vanilla smell that projects very far and lasts a long time. My favourite out of the black opium line and one of my fav fragrances in general. This is perfect for vanilla lovers or those who want to get into vanilla scents without being overwhelmed. It’s not a heavy scent, it’s vanilla dominated with light sprinkles of cinnamon and coffee in the background. This preforms best in cold weather- it’s addictive and sexy. My boyfriend who’s sensitive to smells really likes this one on me.

One thing I can say for this perfume is that it is a delightful vanilla perfume from start to finish. It is consistent. Not too strong in the beginning or too faded in the end or too harsh, or too dull at any given point. It is a consistently beautiful perfume. Smells good from the first spray all the way to sniffing your clothes the following days. You don't have to wait for an hour, not even 5 minutes, to enjoy it. And this is a quality not easily found in perfumes. One of my two top vanilla picks.

IMO, this is THE perfect deep, dark, and sexy vanilla. This smells so intoxicatingly vanilla without trying too hard to smell niche, balanced perfectly with deep but subtle coffee notes and white florals. The white florals aren't too prominent which I like. I can picture Catwoman wearing this, specifically Zoe Kravitz, or someone's whose whole aesthetic is dark academica or opiumcore (iykyk). This performs so well, this truly is my Kayali Vanilla | 28, and I will never not have her in my collection.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING... A killer winter and late fall fragrance here.🍁❄️ It smells exactly like a late date in a warm restaurant when it's cold outside, and you're eating a tiramisù along with a cup of delicious irish coffee. And both you and your partner are sexy as hell, Black Opium literally gives you both a power couple vibes to everyone in vicinity 😍 (even if it's only one of you wearing it lol) Sweet but not cloying, long-lasting but not nauseating. Be careful to not overspray tho!

this is the best thing i have smelled in my life. i smelled the other black opiums and was let down by the odd floral coffee scent? this one, however, was different. at first, i sprayed it on a tester and was like “what the hell this sucks”, but then i waited maybe 20 seconds for it to dry and fell in love. it smells a bit like hypnotic poison, but sweeter, boozier, and creamier. the vanilla just DOES IT. very gourmand, warm, and it also kind of has white florals.

When I'm wearing this scent, I had always compliment like all the time. The vanilla combos are perfect not that sweet way only but also the creamy notes are noticeable. It is not a "wow" perfume, it's more like a comfort scent. Especially after the first puff the comments are always like "it's like a cotton candy". I think it's a balanced combination of sweetness and creamy. I never realized any coffee note, so it differs from all black opium family by this way.

To my nose, this is by far the best from the Black Opium line. It is one of the rare perfumes that has a kind of a magic to it, smelling quite like nothing else, and you want to keep returning to the scent. It is a perfect balance of the best imaginable vanilla, and rich coffee and floral notes. There is a drop of darkness to it, but mainly the scent is just velvety soft, deep and somehow warm, like night air by very warm ocean. Absolutely lovely, rich and sexy.

Personally, I think this is one of the best vanilla perfumes to buy. If you spray it on your clothes, you get whiffs of it all day long. It’s a warm scent with vanilla in the foreground and coffee in the background. A gourmand perfume that’s not juvenile (nothing wrong with those). It’s a rich vanilla, not a frosted cupcake vanilla. It’s quite sweet, but not in an overbearing way. It’s very balanced, this would definitely be lovely in the fall/winter.

The vanillas in the bottles are so dreamy which make me sniff my wrist all the time. Gems in the bottle. I wished it lasted more.. Even though I'm kinda in love with this, it's causing me skin rashes (have weird small itchy spots) :( I have no idea what is causing the irritation but I will try again without body lotion after my skin recovered. 9/27 edit: I tried to put it on my wrists again but I'm still getting same itchy spots...

My neighbour chased me for several days, asking what I was wearing and he said it was "perfect" :) I can't smell much on my skin after 2 hours or so, but if I additionally spray it on clothes, it lasts longer and leaves a trail behind me. That's why I decided to buy a full bottle—I have to overspray. Plus it is such an easy vanilla perfume to layer with other fragrances. More than happy I found my perfect vanilla scent.

I haven't smelled the other Black Opium, but NOTHING could top this for winter and going out! It's a perfect combination of sweet and spicy, the depth is very seductive. I've gotten a lot of compliments, "really good" og "like vanilla and something else". As I am only 20 I felt it was a little risky because it may be considered too deep a scent for young women like me. BUT I LOVE IT FOR THOSE COLD AND DARK DAYS!!

This is so long lasting, I can’t believe I can still smell this so strong on myself 12 hours after application. The scent is lovely, VERY vanilla, I don’t really detect much of the other notes and also I don’t find that it smells vastly different several hours later to what it did when I first applied it but that’s not necessarily a bad thing as the vanilla is so nice. I feel it’s quite a cosy fragrance.

This is my favorite Black Opium, I think. This and the OG. This one is more in line with its namesake, having a darker, more intoxicating scent than the OG, with all of the different types of vanilla and coffee blended together so well. It's like a vanilla and coffee syrup! Divine! Believe me, if you are a vanilla fan, you must have this in your collection, its so good. Very safe blind buy. Promise.

This perfume is absolutely beautiful. It’s everything I’d want in a vanilla scent.... ASIDE from the fact that you cannot smell it after 2ish hours, without someone putting their nose to your neck. Weirdly, it’ll last weeks on clothes, and still not project. It’s truly a let down in that sense. This is just the yummiest, sexiest, and smoothest vanilla, that u have ever sniffed.

I would echo everything the person below me said. This is perfect!!! I wouldn't change a single thing! It is absolutely gorgeous. And subtle. Unimaginable that this would ever be offensive to anybody. My only complaint is that longevity is weak. But I don't really mind because then I get to spray it again and experience all the notes again starting from the top! Absolute LOVE!

It has an intense and delicious scent. If you like vanilla fragrances with a sexy, sweet, elegant, and feminine touch, this is an excellent perfume. The smell reminds me of candied nuts, just like that. It's addictive! I see it very versatile all year round, except for summer, when it can be a bit heavy for the sweetness. I love it; I'll buy a full bottle when I can.
