Black Opium Nuit Blanche

I own and like black opium very much but black opium Nuit blanche was a love at first sniff,I've just tried it once on my wrist so I can't write a real review,I can just say they are more than 80% similar so if you're looking for a totally different fragrance,it will dissapoint you.it's original BO with some changes and those changes make it Devine IMO Unlike other reviewers I find nuit blanche sweeter, than original,but it's less heavy.lets say it's sweeter but in a very creamy way.I also find coffee well pronounced here.I couldn't detect caramel and milk in my first and only test,but they're there for sure.making it's sweetness buttery and edgeless.and I can get more orange blossom here...original black opium had a hint of fruitchouli thing and I believe that's what put me off at the first place,but in nuit blanche instead of fruitchouli sharpness,there's milk and creamy and powdery notes I'm definitely going to buy BONB EDIT: Now after owning BO and BONB for months and doing plenty side to side tests I'm ready to compare these two I can easily say BONB is a BO flanker when I first spray it.they have a very similar DNA of vanilla-pear-coffee in first phase.but as time passes they go to different directions.BO stays intensely sweet with a prominent dark,bitterish thing(I guess coffee note)in the background while BONB develops to a bit less sweet(I was wrong about it being sweeter) ,smooth scent of floral-vanilla wrapped by warm,creamy notes..after an hour when I smell BONB I can't see anything similar to BO anymore,it's more similar to Diesel Loverdose Tattoo IMO but better Unlike my first experiences with BONB,now I can detect rice note in it which adds a unique milky rice pudding thing,also adds kind of calmness and soothing quality that is to die for.I can also detect magnolia here not just orange flower BONB is like a love child of original BO and Kenzo Amour or Diesel Loverdose Tattoo so no wonder I loved it at first sniff.I believe you'd better try this one even if you didn't like the original Black Opium because it's not much similar Except in the opening part.BONB has a moderate longevity on my skin,not bad but not great either but it's pretty longlasting on clothes. sillage is softer than BO but I can still smell a soft cloud of my perfume around me right now I own BO, BONB and BO edt and like them all,each in different situations but all in all BONB is my favorite ❤❤❤❤

“Black Opium Nuit Blanche” Yves Saint Laurent – 11.03.2016 I really like this version of Opium and I like it for all the wrong reasons. When we are young, we have very a “childish” palate. The only thing we like is what tastes sweet. It is only over the years that our palate refines and we learn to appreciate salt, sour and savory tastes. We learn (or become educated?) to love coffee, or spices like turmeric, Campari and gin, green tea, grapefruit.... (Brussels sprouts??). It is only when we grow older that we move from milk chocolate to 99 per cent cocoa solids. “Opium Nuit Blanche” is a childhood taste. And it is beautiful because of that. It is almost identical to the “Black Opium” and has absolutely no resemblance to the original, vintage “Opium”. “Opium Nuit Blanche” (just like “Black Opium”) is soft as cotton and has no edges. It has mass appeal for the younger generation who grew up in cities and have no idea what real plants smell like. I can see it suitable for all ages but, I can also understand why it would appeal mostly to the young. The notes are warmly floral, aerial, balmy-cosmetical and sweetly spicy. A note of dark coffee is well connected with sandalwood in order to provide a dark raw undertone although the coffee note plays mostly a rounding role (side by side with vanilla) so, the aroma does not become “properly” dark. The dry down is softly vanillin, still fruity and musky. “Opium Nuit Blanche” embraces all the above with a touch of freshness/fruitiness so as to transform into a perfume more suitable for the spring time and for the summer evenings. Opium, in both these versions, is, in my view, Yves Saint Laurent’s desperate attempt to stay current. Having said that, and without reading too much into it, the perfume is sweet, modern and sexy, it has a good longevity and projection and it is very versatile. There is no complexity of notes to create the definition of a sophisticated pleasure. Instead, like many perfumes which fall under the same trend of the moment, it is the headless chasing of a sugar hit (without the deep delayed satisfaction.) It may not appeal to those who have a fuller spectrum of tastes and have waved a sweet farewell to the sweet perfumes. "Opium Nuit Blanche" is what it is. And for what it is, it is fabulous. Blind buy! I discovered how I didn't give Black Opium much of a chance, and really enjoy its weirdness after testing in store. Something draws me in about the original Black Opium as well. I also realized, as much as I love Coffee Addict by Theodoros Kalotinis, I usually don't want to smell like "just" coffee. I like scents that are a blend these days. Based on the reviews, I had to try Nuit Blanche again. I just got in it the mail today (after my Amouage disaster a few days ago LOL) and I absolutely love it at first spray (about a half hour has passed). Nuit Blanche is a smoother, more well-blended version of Black Opium IMO, and it's hard to pick out the individual notes. I do not find it dirty, dusty, or masculine at all! The original Black Opium DNA is quite prominent I do agree Nuit Blanche is less syrupy than the original, and definitely feels more vanillic and way less "bitey." I don't mind the Black Opium original's coffee-bite so much (the patchouli is well blended enough to let the flowers and coffee shine). But, Nuit Blanche's rice and vanilla lead me to a slight reminder of how Kenzo Amour used to be, without the overt powderiness. I recently learned I looove syrupy sweet orange blossom fragrances (Flowerbomb Nectar, Kilian Love Don't Be Shy Original, and more recently Black Opium flankers). Orange blossoms from real life (e.g. calamondin) are literally intoxicating, and Love by Kilian is the closest I can find. But, I really like the zesty coffee-vanilla-orangey white flower combo of Black Opium. Flowerbomb Nectar has a nice kick of zesty gunpowder spice and a heavy dose of syrupy sweetness. Edit: there is definitely a spice I detect midway. The drydown is a pleasant earthiness with vanilla (sandalwood?) Well done.

پشمک با طعم قهوه ... . بر خلاف نسخه های قبلی سری بلک اپیوم سن لورن که هیچ وقت برام جالب نبود . نسخه بلانش بارقه ای از امید در من ایجاد کرد . بهترین دلیلش هم حضور نت برجسته شیر و خامه جهت اعتدال ساختن و گرد کردن نت زبر قهوه هست . عطری به غایت شیرین و زمستونی که تحملش برای هر کسی راحت نیست . . این عطر بر سه محور وانیل - قهوه - مشک بنا شده که شکر کاراملایز شده مقدارش انگار بیش از حده و نت قهوه کمی تو ذوق میزنه . نت اسپایسی که خیلی مشهود نیست در کنار حالتی فلورال در لایه های قهوه و وانیل چیزی شبیهه به دسرهای خوشمزه ایتالیائی مثل تیرامیسو رو القا میکنه . ولی قهوه همچنان تو ذوق میزنه . . آنچنان که باید و شاید شاهد بازی عطر نیستیم . دلیلشم کاملا مشخصه انبوهی از نتهائی با وزن ملکولی سنگین. . تو قلب عطر حدودا نیم ساعت بعد از اسپری وانیل و قهوه کمی ارامش نسبی میگیرند تا نرولی در کنار حس نت مشک حالت شیکتری به خودش بگیره تا بتونند ظرافت و زنانگی یک عطر رو بیشتر اثبات کنند . تقریبا از اینجا به بعد خیلی دوستداشتنی تر میشه . و منو بیاد صورت دخترها تو زمستون که لپهاشون از سرما گل انداخته و ماتیک پر رنگ زرشگی زدند می اندازه که تو شال و کلاه خودشون فرو رفتند ... :V . این عطر علیرغم سنگین بودنش خیلی جوانگرایانه عمل کرده و بیشتر مناسب بانوان جوانه . . گرچه در لیست فهرست ترکیبات این عطر اثری از میوه دیده نمیشه . ولی در درای داون کاملا و بوضوح قابل درکه و من مطمئنم در این عطر هم مانند نسخه های قبلی از نت گلابی که شبیهه کمپوت هست استفاده شده . . نویت بلانش کامپلکسی قوی و سنگین از ترکیبات شیرینه . اگر فکر میکنید به عطرهائی با دوز شیرینی عطرهائی مثل نینا ریچی . سی آرمانی . لاوی ست بله لانکوم . انجل موگله و ...... علاقه مندید حتما اینو تست کنید .

I just tested this last night (with husband in tow) and immediately, as soon as it left the nozzle, I said, "Spice...pepper? Coffee, licorice or anise, sweetened condensed milk (caramel/milk), vanilla, white musk. I was really surprised to see that this really does smell exactly as it reads, and to my surprise even unfolded in that order for me. It was a random sample with a purchase, so I had no idea what to expect. It was fun to test this and guess the notes and see that it really is obvious what it's genetics are before reading them and looking for them pre-test. My husband got the coffee/licorice/sweet/musk right off. I do love this fragrance. I think it's better than Black Opium OG in my opinion, at least on me. The coffee stands up and shouts in this but there's plenty at play in supporting characters. However, the performance wasn't there for me. It smelled gorgeous and unique, like a stand-alone fragrance, or what could have been the OG Black Opium, absolutely delicious... but it was gone in 30 minutes. The sillage was non-existent, becoming a skin scent on me as soon as it began to phase into the dry down. That was the most beautiful opening though, and the heart was short lived but lovely. Sadly, the poor performance wasn't FSB worthy for me to excuse the value/performance imbalance. When I first sprayed it, I thought it was love. But this love was fleeting and unstable.

I only recently became a fan of the Black Opium line, and my favorite fragrance from the collection has been discontinued. 😭 The original scent didn't appeal to me because of its strong synthetic orange blossom/jasmine notes, which reminded me of Kool-Aid or Concord grape. However, I've tried the Extreme version and really like it, as well as the Le Parfum. I haven't tried the other flankers because they tend to have more of those white florals that I usually dislike. Nuit Blanche, on the other hand, is delightful! While I don't individually detect the anise or rice notes, it feels like a creamier version of the original without the patchouli, and with significantly less grapey floral. It's not groundbreaking or unique, but it's undeniably pleasant and unpretentious. I believe it would work well for any woman throughout the year and could be an easy “dumb grab,” or a good gift. It's a shame that it's been discontinued, but it's similar enough to the original that you wouldn't mistake it for anything else. I understand why it didn't sell well, but if YSL treated Black Opium like Miss Dior, for example, a reformulation could make it very popular in my opinion. Edited: after wearing this for a while I kept thinking something in the opening reminded me a little bit of the opening of Hypnotic Poison. Anise! What do ya know!

I got this as "almost" a blind buy, why almost? My mom has the original Black Opium EDP. I pretty much have an idea that this flanker will smell similar. Unfortunately, the original BO does not work with me. I find it sharp and harsh. I don't like gourmands in general. They can be too cloying and heady. NOT UNTIL I discovered this baby. I wasn't particularly interested in this given that I don't like the original BO. But I found a really great deal online. And so I look it up on Fragrantica and after reading that it smells smoother, creamier, and look, there's a milk note! I am sold. I've been eyeing perfumes with a milk note for some time now. So I thought, such a perfect timing. When it arrived, while smelling it, I was like, "WOW! OMG!" This smells... wow just wow. It's just perfect. I can really smell the rice upon initial spray and later on the combination of milk and caramel. It's true that the coffee here is less intense as compared to the original BO. I don't find this cloying at all. Sillage is about moderate. I spray a max of 8 sometimes (yup! crazy indeed!) and I still want mooore. Longevity is amazing, I used it in the office and I can still smell it after taking a shower (12+ hrs). I'm soooo loving it and I'm glad I bought it. Might buy a full bottle back up in the near future.

It's absolutely tragic YSL discontinued Nuit Blanche. I'm glad I got my hands on 1 large bottle, after I first tried the oil perfumery version. Hopefully, Oakcha will make a scent out of the oil perfumery. I did end up getting a 60 ML bottle of Nuit Blanche. It's 95% similar. Perfect for layering on a fall or winter day/night. Upon first spraying, right away, I recognize that rice note the way I do in Creed's Love In White. Anyone who owns that one will know that rice note anywhere. To me, to date, Nuit Blanche has been the best latte scent I've tried. I do believe YSL made a mistake making this scent a flanker instead of it's own fragrance. I tried Coffee Addict and while that delivers exactly what it intended, it was far too realistic. CA would work better as a candle I could bathe in Nuit Blanche 'White Night'. BN is the most wearable coffee scent in my opinion, the most wearable with proper longevity. 5-6 hours. The anise, black pepper and coriander support and balance out the coffee. The caramel, milk and coffee are so well blended. BONB = sweet caramel latte brewed with spices. 😍😍 LVMH needs to bring this back!! I tried so many Coffee scents, I hope Bianco Latte Giardini Di Toscana doesn't disappoint but clearly a different scent profile

When I bought Black Opium 2 years ago, I was trying all the available versions and found it very confusing because they‘re really close to each other. I ultimately decided to get the original EDP which I love, I think it has a special spark to it. I know, not many perfumistas share my opinion, but that‘s how it is. Nuit Blanche is not bad either, and if I ever empty my EDP and this is still available, I might get it as a replacement. This is the creamier, softer, more gourmand version of Black Opium. The coffee note is the same as in the original, it‘s intense and intoxicating especially in the opening. This is still very sweet and vanillic, but not as aggressively so as the original. It‘s warmer and uses different florals. Nuit Blanche has a detectable orange blossom in it and not much else, while Black Opium EDP has more of a general white floral sweetness. If the original is pink, this is nude/beige colored. A bit more natural and daytime-appropriate. Still very close though. Sadly I absolutely don‘t get any rice steam from this, and I usually love rice notes. For those who have never smelled any Black Opium fragrance, I would describe this one as a cream-based vanilla and coffee dessert garnished with candied orange blossoms.

I was at Macy's perfume counter last night with my Sister in law. As she was blabbing to the sales associate about Chanel, I wandered I to slightly different territory. I'm more of a Niche chick so I was a little surprised to find something that I really really liked. I sprayed this little gem and I was in heaven. As a matter of fact my SIL who is one for mainstream and is a diehard Chanel one and only, absolutely flipped for this. Why am I not getting into the notes? Because everyone who posts before me and after me surely will. I thought would go from a different angle this time. It's a smooth, well blended perfume. As far as longevity goes. It's moderate. Remember that people will compare this to the original Black Opium which had Intense silage and longevity that stuck like around like glue. But don't dismiss this one, it's silage is not bad, and longevity is moderate. However on clothes and hair it sticks around for days. It smells fantastic. It reminds so much of Lancome Tresor la Nuit, but less toothache, much smoother. I know that LTLN has a cult following and I will probably get lynch mob for that comment. But my point is, if you like that you'll probably like this. But if you have Tresor you won't need this one.

I feel obligated to write a second review because since I purchased my full size bottle, I've felt like my first review doesn't do it justice. When I was using my sample I thought the longetivity kind of sucked... However, this fragrance actually IS long-lasting in the contrary to what I used to believe, especially on clothes. Furthermore it seems as it lasts longer than what I can feel on myself because I have received several compliments and questions about what I'm wearing long after I thought it already had disappeared. I tried the original Black Opium once again I really can't STAND it, I completely detest it to be completely honest. Nuit Blanche however, smells nothing like the original in my opinion and I never would've guessed that there's any connection between the two. This is a delicate, flirtatious and sexy fragrance that I've been wearing for every evening event or party night since I bought it, and it really seems to be a crowd pleaser. In fact, this is one of the few perfumes that I can see myself re-purchasing again and again; I'm already planning on buying a second bottle JUST IN CASE of it being discontinued lol.

Now this is how black opium should have been in the first place, would have saved its self the brutal criticism it received.I have an on off thing with the original, hated it when it first appeared in the stores proclaimed I would never buy it, never ever, then winter hit and a tired morning led me to buy a bottle suddenly it's super sweet coffee seemed right..... For a few weeks then I realised that yet again it was all just too much. At a recent event I sprayed my little purse size and boom instant regret, exactly like having way too many cups of espresso, so when I saw the new version in debenhams I dismissed it. I had already tried the edt more of the same only fleeting I did not have high hopes but sprayed anyway ..... Absolute love from me the exclusion of darn patchouli and extra hit of of orange blossom and beautiful musk base makes this one a whole different coffee creature that I adore. fresher, more floral the vanilla is creamy yet airy, a little more closer in range but still very long lasting, yes this is a winner just hope it does not disappear from shelves to be replaced by twenty more versions of black opium.

Oh. My. Goodness !!️👏❤️😍 I was not ready for it !!️ I have never understood the "Se* in the bottle" term, until I smelled this perfume. Actually it happened yesterday 😁 and I am obsessed! I like the OG Black Opium a lot. A lot! But this is so stunningly blended, that I just 👀👀👀 It can easily compete with the niches. That being said, I am rather niche perfumista persona 🙄, but sometimes I find some hidden gems even in the mainstreams. Honestly, sometimes the mainstream surpasses the niches 😒. So, how does it smell? If you know BO already, just add some spices, cappuccino, Café latte, caramel. And yes, I do smell the rice note 👍. It is so rare! I own also Chloe, Love, which is quite rice-y, but I do not like the overall outcome. This is such a perfect, cold weather, hugging gourmand, which happens to avoid the mistake of reminding a concrete food. Who wants to smell like a meal??? If you like BO, give this flanker a chance! If I didn't know it was YSL, I would think of Tom Ford category!

I could not stomach the patchouli and Liquorice note pairing in original, together with coffee it smelled almost of something burnt on my skin. However, this comforting version of Black Opium feels like the perfect one for me. With my nemesis notes out of picture, feels like fairy godmother would tweaked it to perfection. What a beautiful surprise Nuit Blanche was to my senses. I learned that a small change in composition, can play a huge role in skin chemistry and perception of a scent. Simply love the silky powdery smoothness it has paired with floral notes adding freshness, it sits on my skin so well. Velvety coffee sprinkled with orange blossom caramel brittle comes to mind. Deeply comforting scent on cold days paired with fluffy sweaters and messy hair, perfect for sleepy mornings, when you have a luxury to sip a coffee while wrapped upon your sofa. Dry down is dreamy, I seem to reach for it more often than I care to admit. And to think I almost overlooked this scent.

Thank goodness I won this 3oz bottle for 48$ on an ebay auction because I have to re-spray every hour. I love the scent though. It smells creamy, sweet yet not too sweet. I can pick out the caramel note and the pepper upon first spray. It doesnt develop much on me. It literally isnt even a skin scent after an hour. Unbelievable. I didnt think I would like the black opium line at all as I thought it would smell like mens perfume but I was wrong. This is very much a female scent IMO and is my go to currently. I just cannot get over the longevity failure. I spray it to bed and wake up to nothing, I cant believe my versace crystal noir EDT lasts until I shower it off and this YSL EDP is like a body spray. I am so let down because I love it so much but would never pay the price for it even on ebay. ( unless I win another auction) It is worth the 48$ but not much more. YSL I expected more.

At the time, I didn't pay much attention to this flanker, being taken by the original Black Opium that was making quite a splash. Everyone loved it, everyone wanted it, and I was thrilled with the crowd too. I remember testing Nuit Blanche in passing, and I really liked its calm, sweet, cocooning, caramelized and milky smell, but I never realized that it actually smelled much better than the original... Until one day I started to hate the heady vanilla-coffee side of Black Opium. And when I wanted to get Nuit Blanche, it was already too late... Discontinued - (No wonder here anymore, the best creations are always discontinued). Sometimes, I spray Yves Rocher's Nuit Vanille EDT before going to bed (also discontinued!) that have some similar vibes to Nuit Blanche. Caramelized, spicy and sweet, but without the milky side. 8.5/10 for this beautiful fragrance.

Omg Where is my review I dont have this parfum yet...but i tested some fragances that smell the same as nuit blanche What can i say....oww so soft and so scratchy the same time Like a purple smell and very very sweet Smell like caramel with rice and almonds that wake up ur nose And later combines this with white flowers and jazmin what do the fragance more darkness, and feel a litle like incense how glowing And maybe like milk with toffe or coffe ...obviously Is a combination like sweet from dark This smell i cant use in a party cuz is so soft but maybe during the sunrise because how i said it...the smell wake up ur nose This feels different than black opium But now...independently of ur skin..can be more dark or more sweet Ok Thats all i have to say And about the campaign , my fav commercial into the opium universe...oww amazing¡

What a delicious scent that starts out with a broozey scent which has to be from the Bourbon Pepper but it seems like I pick up a nutty almond to go along with it. It a moderate scent that radiants it yummy scent. I can smell the orange blossom and peony giving it a lovley floral heart. The vanilla smells sweet with hints of musk and the signature coffee note for a lovely dry down. It has a good projection and lasted over 8 hours on my skin for they just mesh with each other. Good for day or night use, cold weather or hot for I have worn it through all. A great buy form Yves Saint clearance sale last summer and yes I would repurchase it from them again. A lovely feminine scent that makes me feel so pretty and smell so yummy good.

This is a toned down version of the original Black Opium. It is a twist that could attract people who want a lower sugary/vanilla version of the original. From a marketing perspective this works well.. especially with the great success the original achieved. I would say that, in Arabia, the original still is the winner due to the tastes that prefer heavier perfumes (better longevity, sillage, and projection). هذا العطر يعتبر نسخة مخففة من العطر الأصلي هو تطور يمكن أن يجتذب الناس الذين يريدون نكهة سكرية / فانيليا أقل من منظور التسويق هذا يعمل بشكل جيد .. خاصة بعد النجاح الكبير الذي حققه إسم بلاك أوبيوم في المنطقة العربية, أعتقد أن الأصلي هو الرابح بين الإثنين حيث الإذواق تفضل العطورات التي تتمتع بالثبات و الفوحان

I am a big fan of the original ! Blanche is nice right from the start , vanilla coffee sandalwood , pretty much my favourite notes , very smooth and sexy ! In my opinion the rice note is fantastic , the musk and the burbon pepper is a great addition . I have been wearing it since this morning and already got two compliments on this. Looks like a crowd pleaser. Edit , today I am wearing the original and I have to say I still by far my favourite , nothing compares ! The original is sweeter , rounder smoother and yummier to me. Blanche is more diffused. ,,but I like the variation , I love flankers period ! It's always so exciting when a new edition comes out to a perfume you love :)

Similar, though much gentler than Black Opium. This never goes sharp like BO does, though it too can be oversprayed and make you think otherwise. Floral and gourmand both, I like this much better than the original, the white floral notes stand down enough that I didn’t get the matronly impression I often do with white florals. The coffee and caramel turn this into a great night out scent for when you want to stand out but only to someone in pretty close proximity, the milk makes it feel a lot more subdued than the original and it seems to be exactly what this scent needed. Solid 8/10 for me, a very lovely, cozy but magnetic fragrance.

I understand why this is a much-loved flanker of Black Opium. I'm finding that I enjoy the flankers so much more than the OG. They all just feel more complete than the original fragrance. This one feels more perfumey, more elegant, more floral and less doughy? Less dough, more milky. If that makes sense. I like it a lot, it's luscious. It has the comfort of smelling like the original, which at this point is like a familiar blanket, but more elevated. In the drydown, the rice note comes out more, and with the milk, turns into this delicious milky mochi scent - so intoxicating. The drydown turns this fragrance from like to love.

I could say this is like the OG Black Opium + caramel...and it is ...but there is a bit more to it. Right off you get the rice and anise. It's interesting because you wouldn't think these notes would stand out but they do. They give a very warm sweet lactonic vibe(the milk in the base helps with that also I'm sure). After that the middle notes starts creeping in carrying a load of caramel on it's back. That's when it starts settling down into the OG + milky caramel with those top notes still lingering. Fall and winter scent for sure. Great performance all around. I love it and would get again(if available). 8/10 rating

I got a sample of this perfume and have been in love ever since, it's top priority on my to buy-list and I can barely wait to have a full size bottle of it. The smell is so LOVELY, it's sweet yet sophisticated and still intriguing. I sampled the original Black Opium by mistake believing it was Nuit Blanche, however I didn't like it. NB is much more pleasant and soft whilst BO came off as too harsh in my opinion. The only thing that's a shame is that it doesn't last very long at all on my skin, but by judging from others votings I'm guessing it has something to do with my skin chemistry rather than the perfume itself.

It smells like a lighter version of the original Black Opium, plus the scent of chai (tea). The original Black Opium is more syrupy, well-rounded and sweeter. I'm trying not to wear the original because it makes me feel like a wealthy, older female (I'm just a person in her 30s who hasnt figure out many things in her life yet) But somehow I think I love the original more than this flanker. Not that I think anyone would notice the difference, they very closely share the same DNA. Still, this is a very nice perfume. P/S: I want to smell this flanker on men. But not the original.

posting a second review of this nearly four years after my original one (5/15/22) to say i still absolutely love this and still think it's better than the original. more wearable, milky, sweet, soft, less generic. i really think this would've done better if they had just released it later (especially seeing the lactonic/milk craze of the past couple years lol) i've picked up a full bottle since my review and i'm so happy i did! good for winter, going out, date nights, rainy days, so on and so forth... still mad this is discontinued

This is a toasty, smooth, milky, vanilla caramel latte on me, with a side of a delicious yummy rice pudding as my dessert. I love the addition of the rice note. Definitely an added plus, makes it more intriguing. I think it just adds that certain uniqueness about it. I am so happy that my nose picks up on the caramel note, which on here it seems most people don't even detect it. Very smooth, sexy, feminine and sophisticated. Strength and sillage are very good on me. I get about 7 to 8 hours out of it. 10/10... DELISH!!!

I dont even know where to begin...this is my absolute favourite! Used up two bottles so far and its the first one I check the price on when I enter a perfume shop. So complicated and yet it has a distinct personality. This and the original version both reminds me of some expensive male perfume, the heavy deep ones...but somehow they made it very feminine. Super quality perfume, I spray 2 on my hair and last DAYS or until I wash my hair. Last very long, but I dont get tired of it becouse it feels natural and quality.

I wrote a review after trying the original Black Opium where I was on the fence because on the one hand, it smelled absolutely delectable, but there was a nauseous note that I could not get past - it made me realize that me and pink pepper truly do not get along. This, on the other hand, is outstanding. Gone is the pink pepper, it is all cappuccino icecream with a hint of white flowers. The rice note works really well, I will probably get lynched for this but I smell the tiniest drop of Hypnotic Poison. Love it.

Ah, I like it! I can smell caramel and coffee and some kind of dessert with nuts. It smells like a lazy morning. Very comforting. However, I really only want to smell like this for an hour in the morning and then pick up something that I want to smell like for a whole day. Another thing is that I already smell like this for an hour in the morning with my cup of coffee, and it „projects” through the whole house, unlike this perfume. So, for as much as I like the fragrance, I see no point in having one.

Can't wait to try this , looks great ! Glad the pear is gone but not happy that there is no patchouli ! Rice sounds great ! The sandalwood will make this creamier for sure ! I am still loving the original but I like when different versions come out. Makes you fall in love with the fragrance all over again. Often the flankers are improvements of the originals in my opinion. Or I guess at lest an interesting change ! Can't wait ! Some of you have found this already ? I have to hunt this down !

I have Black Opium and i like but...somethings missing for me to love it. I received a sample of this one and i expected that i won't like it but i have to say i do, a lot, or maybe even love the scent. We shall see in time how our relationship will continue but for now i can say that i will wear this one much more it is definitely a softer and creamier, tone down version of the original Black Opium EDP. I will stick to Nuit Blanche for now! 10/10

One of the best fragrances. It's like the original but more milky, less patchouli, and more balanced. It'd be a forever perfume if not discontinued. I love Commodity Milk and it's like it had a baby with Black Opium, where Nuit Blanche inherits that smooth lactonic quality from Milk, and inherited all the sweet beauty from Black Opium, combining the vanilla from both fragrances allowing the vanilla to shine at the forefront along with the milk

This is quite beautiful, soft feminine fragrance. It's sweet and gourmandy but in a delicate muted down kind of way. Not overly sweet and overpowering or offensive. Drydown is very powdery (Guerlain meteorites kind of powder) and stays close to the skin so longevity is not the greatest but I'd say moderate. Nice sugary vanilla coffee with uplifting orange blossom layered underneath. Very very nice!

All I wanna do is browse through Fragrantica and every 15 seconds a pop-up ad comes up! It's ruining my experience on my favorite website!! Shocker it popped up twice while I was writing this!! I think my days are done with using this website!!!! And this isn't an isolated incident...it's been like this for two weeks now. I don't mind to pop up at every once in a while, but this is excessive.

In my 50's, I have a hard time finding any perfume that doesn't turn sour or acidic on me....but this one just gets better and better the longer it sits on my skin and mixes with my chemistry! It's warm and inviting and doesn't project horribly when you enter a room. Longevity on me is good...I can still smell it the next day after spraying it on. All in all, a really nice perfume!

Black Opium Nuit Blanche was definitely not a love at first spray - in fact I still can't stand how it smells like wet. After a minute or so, that wonderful addictive coffee develops and softly melts into a caramel-vanilla latte type smell. It's a bit of a "bomb" of spice and sweet coffee and I don't think it's appropriate for work, but I'd wear it to a bar or a night out.

Now those of you that have read my reviews will know I'm not always complimentary of L'Oreal's constant flankers, but this Blanche edition is quite good. If you find the original EDP a bit sickly or a bit cloying, then you may just like this, the coffee note is more prominent, it's less sugary. One thing I will say, is there is quality in this fragrance. Very good.

I love this! Even if I'm not a coffee drinker I love the warmth that this fragrance give it to me. I just hope one day YSL will actually work more on the longevity of them perfumes...I realized that I like many perfumes from them and they are even wearable but I think is a lack of respect for them clients to offer such a shameful low persistence on this money!

i like this flanker a lot more than the original Black Opium. Nuit Blanche is actually what i wish the Original had been.. as much as I love the coffee Note in the original, it lacks the amount of sweetness I prefer in a perfume. This flanker brings just that! A dash of creamy, sweet, milky-ness. I will definitely buy another once my small bottle runs empty!

I LOVE the way it smells! I would say Black Opium Nuit Blache is definitely a softer and creamier version of the Black Opium edt. Its not sickeningly sweet or fruity or charred. It has a softer sweetness and some creaminess to it due to the rice and musk notes. The orange blossom and vanilla werent overpowering. I find it light and wonderful. Thumbs up

Milky and silky! Honestly devastated that this has been discontinued. It was and always will be my favourite from the black opium family. This perfume is like the soft sweet innocent spoilt baby girl of the family who can do no wrong in her parents eyes... But she’s out there having just as much naughty fun as her other opium sisters (shhhh).

I dug up my last 10 ml and realised I can not get over this. BO is so nasty and awful, it's like trying to snort molten vanilla icecream with pear winegums melted into it. Hideous! But this...completely different, so smooth, shimmering, soft, not cloying, just beautiful. I need it. But prices are - of course - insane now :(

Such a beautiful scent of coffee and milk. It reminds me of latte or cappuccino. I can smell the sweety caramel as well at the background. Very tender and wonderful fragrance! Longevity and sillage are so good, I can smell it for twenty four hours and more. From all others I prefer this BO for its sweet tenderness.

Softer and smoother than the original, yet still really cloying for me (although I tend to like sweet scents, but IMO this is just heavy, not conforting or sparkling sweet) Have to say I don't like the original at all, but I can bear with this one. Am I the only one smelling some kind of white chocolate in this?

This smells like a warm and cozy coffee shop. I can't stop smelling this but I will have to wait for the colder days to arrive because its a bit too much for summer. Its smells like a caramel latte with lots of milk and sugar absolutely a dream! My husband loves it a lot so that a bonus!!

The best Black Opium, hands down. Where the og is a Macchiato, this is a Vanilla Latte with a tiny bit of caramel drizzle. Just hits the exact perfect spot where it feels like a sweet gourmand without being cloying or overpowering. I mourn the discontinuation every day.

I think this scent is very vulgar, and not in an interesting or sexy way. It is way too strong, and way too sweet. I thought Black Opium EDP was strong, this is sickly sweet (emphasis on SWEET). I couldn't scrub this off my skin soon enough after trying it.

The most beautiful cappuccino/cafe latte scent I've tried, so it's tragic that this has been discontinued. However, I recently tried Vanilla Sky by Skylar and it smells 90% similar to me - so if you're looking for a replacement, give Vanilla Sky a go.
