Coeur Fetish Amber

Just got my order through of Coeur today and these are my first thoughts! The opening is (and this is the only way I can think of to describe it) like fresh air on a cold morning. The opening is very cold, I do not get much of the cardamom note on my skin in the opening but it still smells quite fresh. As it dries down it shifts into more of the floral notes before turning into a creamy warm scent with a subtle sweetness to it. The dry down for me personally is my favourite part of the fragrance :) I would however say that Coeur is definitely not blind buy safe as the opening may be a bit polarizing to some peoples taste. But in my honest opinion in the first day of having this fragrance I think that it is absolutely beautiful. A very intricate scent profile that creates a perfect balance of warm and cold notes! 8/10 :)

I discovered Coeur two weeks ago on the shelf of a department store. There was no info about it, so it was another mysterious and exciting experience similar to Muse. I tested it twice and loved this well crafted perfume. Coeur opens with a sharp, vintage accord that triggered my childhood memories. This must be the aldehydes, but not the detergent like kind. Once the sharp notes faded, a luxurious creamy layer emerged. This longer lasting phase was softly sweet, calm, yet attractive. The drydown is more powdery. It shares a similar vibe with Muse because of the iris and amber accord, which I find to be the most dominant notes. It has good longevity and moderate sillage. Coeur is a beautiful addition to the Le Vestiaire collection and a must try for cosmetic scent lovers.

It blows my mind, this perfume. I already own YSL Babycat from the same line and wasn't planning to buy another one because of the hefty price tag. But this one is simply the perfect signature scent for me. It's just a whisper of clean laundry and sparkling aldehydes wrapped in warm, oriental incense—a combination of two seemingly disconnected ideas brought together in such an elegant way. There's really nothing more to say. It's a guilty pleasure, an excessive purchase, but one that somehow feels completely inevitable.

It's a clean soapy buttery amber without the sweets with a slight hint of floral and a clean textured suade for me. They would not sell it to me till 1.7.2026. I don't feel any aldehydes but it feels soapy clean. I have over 20 aldehydes and it's not even similar to gold or supreme bouquet from ylang ylang in the same house. Gravitate more towards the muse musky feel than an actual aldehydes or ylang ylang vibe for me.

An ambery, warmer version of Chanel No 5. Like if you mixed it with Dior Bois d’Argent and a smidge of amberwoods. Specifically, it starts as Chanel No 5 and ends like Bois d’Argent. That warm, dry and woody end, slightly reminiscent of Muse as well, is much more interesting to me, as for the No 5 dna I own Royal Crown Poudre de fleurs, which is gorgeous. Also, these days I think I like my perfumes less stuffy and Muse had the same atmosphere. I think it is the amberwoods for me that close everything in a box and are taking the air out of the composition. Not sure anyone else will feel this, but I had to express.

Judging by its color, I had expected something that would evoke red, an amber (labdanum, vanilla, resins) kind of scent. But it's something completely different... First of all, it's not sweet at all (which is goooood!) A "sour incense" dominated, managing to stay on for nearly 20+ hours, I was literally like a walking church... I usually get this sour incense in olibanum and myrrh centered scents, but here it was overkill in my opinion! Even though the aldehydes are the nose-opening kind, it never felt simple or detergent-like, there's a quite high quality and balanced use of aldehydes here. The powder felt throughout the scent is also very pleasant, fresh, chic and airy... It has both a cold and a warm feel. I couldn't find any common ground with Muse (from the same house), actually this brand's 37 Bellechasse has more in common with Muse, but this one felt like something else entirely. It brought to mind a nun who wants to break her taboos... (nunsploitation) Overall I didn't like it because of the over-the-top incense, but it could appeal to those who love atmospheric incense like Sancti, LAVS, Cardinal, and expect some warm undertones along with it. Wondered why I liked this so much...then I remembered my bottle of Cardinal from James Heeley at home and I put the bottle back on the shelf since the DNA of this scent is very similar and I dont need both(want both but does NOT need😅😅😅)PS!Will probably end up with both...who am I kidding🤷♀️😜🤣☺️

Smelled it today and it reminds me a bit of Japanese incense sticks.
