Elle Intense Eau de Parfum

This was absolutely an amazing blind buy for me I have both the YSL Intense and YSL Elle edp and I was hoping the Intense edp would be Intense but I was mistaken both are so much alike I couldn't find any difference in either Elle edp or Elle Intense I was hoping for the Benzoin in the intense to really shine and it didn't work for me I felt both were very fruity and velvety a bit mentholated and then it smooths over into something unreal and sexy the raspberry and the succulent litchi is so inviting and the patchouli is so delicious! The sillage and longevity with the Intense is so much more luxurious than the Elle edp either one suffice so don't go crazy looking for the intense version as the original YSL ELLE is just as good and for me there the same if anyone notice the same thing let me know... And if you can't afford Elle buy Alta Moda midnight dreams it smells just like this and midnight poison just a cheaper version not long lasting but you gonna be surprised!

Elle Intense has the strongest patchouli note among the other Elle versions. I was so confused because people were leaving their comments that it's no different to EDP version. So wrong. To me it goes more towards male ♂️ perfumes on me at least. I do love all my Elle especially EDT summer is probably my the most favourite. I thought that possibly those lovers of Poison comparing Elle Intense to it, wrong again. Still puzzled which Elle is similar to Poison and again which Poison one among those numerous flankers. Help. I am lost. So if you would like a really strong version of Elle it has just a slight similarity to EDP, not EDT whatsoever, it has no similarities to OG Poison. It's only similar in direction, but they smell so different.

Strong and sexy and slightly similar to the original, even though the notes suggest otherwise. Elle Intense is not that fruity despite berries 'content' - it is truly packed with patchouli that can be smelled from the very top to bottom notes. Jasmine is pretty much present here all the time as is litchi. Pleasant winter warmer; makes you feel confident and sexy. I wish it had more vanilla touch at the end as Elle Intense turns into strongly patchoul-ish smell after a few hours, the reason I keep reapplying it during the day. Well constructed, good quality, good lasting power and sillage. Wish patchouli left some space for other notes to tickle my nose, though :-) 10/10

Wow, just got me another sexy friday night perfume !! I just love the combo of rasberry and patch. I was afraid when reading the notes , that it would get to sweet, but I think the bensoin, amber and iris makes it nice a little powdery and soft. The only minus I can think of is the tall bottle that not nearly fits anywhere... The spray is just a quick spritz here and there and your all set ! In some ways it reminds me of Tresor midnight rose, due to the berries, I guess but that one is way sweeter and stronger. I dont think this is loud at all, but soft, - with just the right amount of sweetnes for a nice weekend away with your loved one Love this...

I’ve had Elle for a couple of months now, and I do love it. Elle Intense arrived in the mail this morning. On me, they are very much alike, but with subtle differences. I have a spray of E on one arm, and EI on the other. The initial sprays smell alike, with the EI a bit more potent. As they dry down, the patchouli in EI becomes more intense, almost a bit smoky, incensey. I find the reg E stays somewhat bright and sparkly thru it’s life, where the EI is darker, richer, and the patchouli mellows. I think I’m going to love this too.

As the name says, it is more intense than classic Elle, and a bit sour, but in a good fresh way. That's raspberry I think. For me, this and classic Elle, smell like most fine powder, expensive and elegant. It has some bloody note, which I dont know how to describe, but it is like drop of blood in it and it's a bit wild because of it. Soooo sexy and mysterious. Also, Patchouli is in all its glory in there... fantastic scent.

One of the best woody fragrances of all time. This was a signature scent for several years. Deep, enchanting, inviting & it has a therapeutic quality to it. I wouldn't even call this a fruity floral, it's more aromatic with a whisper of berries and is far more complex than the notes suggest. I simply love it and wish YSL would bring this back. Better than most modern releases and sadly quite difficult to find nowadays.

I am on my third bottle with this! I love it! Patchouli benzoin mixture at it's best. It opens a little sharp I could have sworn there is some pepper in there. Even with the berries and patchouli it isn't sweet or fruity at all- at least on me, The dry down is balsamic with some faint berries. It oozes confidence and fierceness. a beautiful homage to modern women.

the notes are really beautiful in this perfume and suited me really well.shame that the perfume scent only lasted 10 mins on me!. oh well c'est la vie. I will just move on to my next perfume. plenty out there to try out:)

i always loved the classic Elle, patchouli and litchi, so sexy, but i blind buyed this intense version, and is so way better!!! *-* i love this scent, it's perfect for night clubs disco and sexy moments

Well we're do I start , em , the bottle ! I just bought a new 30 ml and it's a weighty little thing , very very classy and well made . It's the kind of bottle that's handbag friendly and would look so good being got out in a crowded club loo ! Watch those jealous looks were it looks sooo expensive :) This is so much like midnight poison it's amazing, so if you can't find midnight at a reasonable price try this. There not clones but the general theme is very very similar . Elle intense has a nose tingling sharp start, then becomes a lovely woody patchouli fragrance with sweetness maybe from the benzoin. It's quite beautifully done and I'm happy to pull that strikingly beautiful bottle out of my bag for a top up every few hours if so needed! Patchouli heavy fragrances don't suit everyone and can be a slightly cold feeling rather than a comforting fragrance, but EI is striking and edgy and its fruity sweetness shines ,and will suit day or evening wear and when u want to make a statement ! 8/10 edit , the hubby hated it ? strange so it went up for sale , he said its like mothballs ! i dont agree but it does tske some getting used to, ive noticed my other half has this reaction on any patchuli heavy numbers :)

As a long year fan of Elle edt, edp and especially Summer edition i bought the Intense version yesterday. Last time i had it was 2009.Well,i am little dissapointed with this one. Others Elle I adore, but this one is just ok. The good news is that has Elle blood in it, but it is very sour on me. I love the raspberry in the summer edition, but here i dont smell it.Here the patchouly is very strong, sour. The good thing is that the dry down is very powdery which i like, i dont smell powdery in the other editions. I will stick to the Edt version which is my favourite. But all in all i like it

For me, the Intense version was much more interesting than the ordinary edt & edp (these are still a little sweet for my taste). The intense version is still sweet but has a little more edge & depth. Imagine you spritzed on some Nu edp, let it settle a while, & then piled Cinema on top - this is what Elle Intense smells like. Nice, but this fragrance doesn't quite have it's own distinct identity - it is lacking the wow-factor of Nu, & the main-stream appeal of Cinema.

I love this version of elle,much more exiting for me then the ordinary one..It has everything i like in a scent,depth,darkness,sensuality,modern,strong,confident and feminine with an edgy touch.Suits my style perfectly and great to use under theese dark and cold winter days.Not for the light scent lovers...

This is based on my first impression on this one upon receiving it a few days ago. This reminds me of midnight lempicka and yes perhaps the midnight poison. Well I happen to have a full bottle of midnight poison in my collection, I will do the comparison once I could find the time and update this review.

Quite nice fruity pathouli, but doesn't last and the projection is not there. It is also quite simple, doesn't change during a time, it's like cranberry juice.

Well, I can't find any significant diffrences between Elle Intense and original Elle. Both are chic!

Lots of pachouli. If that's your thing, you will love this.
