Gold Supreme Bouquet

I find this to be a sweetened tuberose scent that is indeed dipped in honey, with the rich banana-like quality of ylang ylang to warm it up and a soft and musky base that is animalic but still feminine. I get some resinous qualities from the amber as well, but it is very subtly done here. There is something about this that reminds me of Amarige, (which makes sense, considering that it was formulated by the white florals and fragrance nose extrordinaire Dominique Ropion) but less heady and intense and updated for the 2020's. It is tuberose with a warm embrace, stripped of its menthol like and green nuances and instead turned into a floral that can be worn from spring to summer. I don't get the more bubblegummy and slightly cosmetics like scent I get from Fracas, though I love that fragrance as well. I get some fruity nuances from the pear, but I can't smell any bergamot and certainly no spiciness from the pink pepper. I do indeed get the comparisons to Vert Malachite by Giorgio Armani as well, considering that they both state most of the same notes as each other, but in different compositions. Supreme Bouquet Gold lasted about 8 and a half hours on me, before dissipating completely. Projection was at arm's length and this perfume's smell wasn't overwhelming at all. Honestly, I could wear it any time of day and during any season and I just find this fragrance by Yves Saint Laurent so beautiful and womanly. It is one of my new favorites, which is why I'd give it a 9.5/10, which is a rare rating by me! It is expensive of course, but worth every penny that YSL Beauty charges for it. If only regular designer perfumes smell like this more often, like they used to back in the day!

YSL’s Gold Bouquet has my name all over it. It’s such a creamy, soft, white+yellow floral with the most decadent honey base. It’s instant love for me but there’s two issues with it. First, it’s super expensive and only comes in a 125 ml bottle, which is something that I try to avoid buying nowadays, with my extensive collection. I really don’t need anything more than a 50 ml bottle Second, I have sprayed it both my skin and on a blotter and it’s very subtle, which really surprised me after owning Capeline, from the same collection. Unlike Capeline, Gold Bouquet has weak longevity and almost intimate sillage. And I have tested it at YSL counter, so it’s no way that the bottle is fake. Therefore, as much as I love the scent itself, I don’t think the performance justifies the hefty price point. Does anyone know something similar to Gold Bouquet but with better price and performance?? Any suggestions much appreciated!

Anna Karenina would wear YSL’s Gold Supreme Bouquet the way she wears her gaze — knowingly, almost defiantly, as if beauty itself were a form of speech. Supreme Bouquet is not a fragrance that drifts; it advances. The tuberose rises like pale silk against candlelight, lush and unapologetic, its sweetness edged with the faint peril that accompanies all irresistible things. Beneath it, amber glows with the warmth of hidden gold, suggesting histories untold and decisions already made. It is the scent of a woman who understands that once she enters a room, the air will remember her long after she has gone.

A truly amazing and captivating white floral fragrance. It screams Sexy Confidence! I own the old version too (in the gold bottle), but I don't find a big difference between the two as I believe YSL didn't re-formulate it, only updated the packaging. It opens up with a perfect explosion of tuberose, ylang-ylang and a hint of patchouli and then dries down to a creamy woody floral with a kick of spiciness. Simply a masterpiece!😍 1000/10 @fragrantica, please update the notes as they don’t appear to be inline with the YSL’s website.

This may be the closest thing I have experienced to a perfect everyday floral that can be worn anywhere by anyone at any time. Special occasion or work, formal or informal. Projects, but light enough that it is unlikely to choke anyone out. Will update as I wear more, but this was an instant love and a safe (and successful, thankfully) blind buy for a floral lover. Reminds me of Siberian Rose from FDB, though without the slight oud notes. Maybe a bit like Marfa without the earthy qualities. Heavenly.

what a pleasant and wearable tuberose perfume! Very similar to Robert Piguet's Fracas but way more elegant and without the harshness of Fracas. This is like the name, pure, golden, sweet, glistening delicious tuberose, sensual, feminine, elegant, smell rich, sophisticated kind of perfume. It isn't overbearing. goes day to night.

Uplifting scent. Quite sweet. Leaning feminine. Feels like candyish-flower bouquet thats makes u feeling happy. But for the price, the performance could be better. Need more tests. Edit: Finally I bought it, I need a uplifting scent for my worklife. Lovely. Fragrances always need more tests to fall in love with.

Honey? NO! Fragrantica insists on listing wrong notes. It's annoying and misleading. Just check their official website. It’s THE perfume I was looking for! It’s an elevated version of both Rouge and Vert Malachite with a great performance. For such a long time I was looking for something in between Vert Malachite and Joyphoria, something elegant and powerful. Finally came Gold Supreme Bouquet and it ticks all the boxes.

A soft beautiful floral bright scent, has a Jasmine-like accord on initial spray and the honey shines through adds a elegent fluffy powdery touch. All-seasons appropriate, but nothing too magical to justify the price. Heavily feminine leaning Dry down is absolutely gorgeous 😍

Great tubereuse scent reminds me of sadly discontinued L'artisan Tebereuse Night. Great balance, warm, a bit stronger than Coty Or De Moi. I just tried it at Sephore. It stayed 5 hours nicely thinking of it while writing this review.

Glorious. It smells as if flowers were a dessert. Flowers coated in edible warm honey. Simple but in a very complex (ish) way.

Incredible fragrance : 10/10, super long lasting

There's no reason for so many people to rate this perfume as 'hate', unless it's been weakened and changed significantly, which I don't believe is the case. It looks like a new marketing approach - YSL have moved Supreme Bouquet to the fancy revamped Le Vestiare collection. This is not my kind of fragrance, but I'm going to share a few thoughts, as it isn't being fairly reviewed. Gold Supreme Bouquet is a blast of rich and creamy florals, and I don't particularly pick out anything else. Sometimes the fresh floral scent profile is too light to pierce through the air, but this one has the density and performance to stand out. It's definitely a crowd-pleaser, as are most of the Le Vestiare des Parfums, but when the perfume relies so heavily on relatively common floral notes, I think there's a limit to how unique it gets. At the very least, the blend is fantastic and the ingredients smell natural and high quality, so this does deserve its flowers (lol). This suits women who can imagine themselves wearing sunhats and dresses and frolicking through sunny fields of flowers. Smell: 6.5/10 Performance: 7.5/10 Presentation: 8/10 Value: 4/10 Overall: 7/10

I had a ysl private line sample set laying around. Decided to give Gold a little test and I’m honestly surprised. Performance on me was good. 7 hours with 1ft-2ft of projection for about 2-3hrs. Smell wise, ysl is amazing when it comes to white florals. Leans fem, but as a guy I enjoy wearing this. It’s a nice, soft smell you’ll get from an expensive hair product or conditioner. Very good fragrance solid 8/10.

A nice but very simple tuberose/ylang combo. Overpriced for what it is (just like vert malachite is), i am glad i bought a 35ml. smells like the dry down of armani my way ylang (when the mango draws back). Performance isn’t great. I wouldn’t recommand while this is exactly the scent profile i like but there are much better options for cheaper.

Reminds me of High Frequency Initio. Def heliotrope here. Beautiful.

After not reviewing perfumes for quite some time, I feel compelled to make an exception for this one. It clearly confirms that the quality of today’s perfumes from many major brands has noticeably declined. I could still accept that the ingredients are no longer the same, but this one has absolutely no longevity and the scent is so faint it barely feels like a perfume at all. Anyone considering buying this fragrance should think carefully, as it is vastly different from what it used to be in terms of ingredients, lasting power, and scent projection.

I am a guy and I really enjoy this scent. It is so light and sweet and enjoyable - it is undeniably a lovely scent. Sure it is more feminine-leaning, but I think everyone can appreciate this sort of scent, it just simply smells divine. The light white floral facets perfectly compliments what I can best describe as a fresh light sweet honey accord which is all rounded off with the ylang-ylang. The honey facet is the star of the show , that sweetness is really what shines through and the floral notes are there to support it, as the tuberose or ylang-ylang aren't fighting to be the winner, it's not too creamy nor is it too earthy but it really rounds and grounds the honey accord. I understand that the official site and other reviews say honey isn't an official recorded note - it is 100% best interpreted as a light honey accord . Albeit not a deep sticky powerful honey accord that you would find in other fragrances such as 'Tobacco Honey'. I'm quite happy with the performance, it's at the level where it is powerful enough to last and be noticed but not to scream and shout all day long. If you're looking for an all-day powerbomb I don't think this is it, but it 100% isn't too weak. The YSL private line really does floral excellently, this is just so high-quality and I personally think is the hidden gem /winner of the private line. Also a tip for identifying authentic bottles is that I find the fakes have the 'Q' on the 'Supreme Bouquet' text wrong, the line that strikes through the Q starts on circle whereas on the authentic bottles, the line strikes through the Q and starts inside the Q (in the circle).

I was given a tester of this by YSL after I purchased Babycat. I just tested it today, and OMG! It's absolutely gorgeous. Upon first spray it smells SO much like Hues and Cues by Moseha (which isn't a well known perfume, but I stumbled upon it by chance and it's amazing, gets me a ton of compliments and is one of my best kept secrets). The difference is that Hues and cues is a bit more crisp while Gold is a bit more mellow. The ylang-ylang and patchouli is adding a beautiful touch. Very fresh and spring forward, but I could actually see this being a fresh perfume that would work all year round, just like Hues and Cues. This scent is also a bit reminiscent of another one of my favorite perfumes, Tenue De Soiree by Goutal (it must be the tangy patchouli). They are similar in that they could certainly be cousins. It's that soft tanginess that I find so addicting, it gives luxury and high class. I'm going to play around with this and see how it develops on my skin. This is exactly the kind of scent profile that I adore and is quite dangerous for my wallet! *edit* Okay I spoke too soon. It was cool in the morning when I first tried it and it was really nice, but as the day got warmer this fragrance became sickening and gave me a headache. This definitely does NOT work well with warm humid climates. I've never seen such a beautiful perfume turn so rancid in warm weather, it's a shame.

While searching for a decant and comparing this to the gold bottle version I noticed that Fragrantica still has the notes listed incorrectly. The note structure according to YSL: Top Notes: Bergamot Essence, Pink Pepper Essence, Pear Accord Heart Notes: Sambac Jasmine Absolute, Tuberose Absolute, Ylang Ylang Essence Base Notes: Patchouli Heart Essence, Ambery Woody Accord, Musks Update: After wearing this a few times, it’s clear the patchouli does not agree with my skin chemistry. I get a beautiful floral opening that slowly devolves into sour, masculine woods. Be sure to test thoroughly if you’re sensitive to patchouli.

Anyone disappointed in the performance or smell, might not think it’s close but another great option, not necessarily cheap but good is Robert Piguet Petit Fracas. It’s like a smoother modern version of Fracas.

I think it’s very nice with great performance. Has a bit of a 80’s or 90’s women’s powerhouse vibe to it. More punchy to me than supreme bouquet.

Looking forward to the add-on to Le Vestiaire des Parfums, Dominique Ropion is a wonderful perfumer.
