La Nuit de L'Homme Bleu Électrique

Unpopular take like CRAZY! I can appreciate the scent for sure, of course, but to me and some others, it can come off as too baby powderish. It smells different in different environments and to different people and under different circumstances. Same goes for standard La Nuit, too, obviously. I wish both scents were even more cardamom heavy because that's where the magic is, honestly. Sometimes, I get that edible spiciness a lot, and it is flat-out incredible, but most of the time, it's just too powdery for me, personally. If someone is on the fence, I think the reason they call it bleu is not blue in the sense of a typical blue fragrance being citrus or aquatic or fresh in a bleu de chanel way. It is slightly cleaner-smelling in a floral and powdery way, and definitely more pungent than original La Nuit, but very, very similar if you are wondering. If you're going in blind, just know that it is a relatively floral and powdery scent that takes a lot of people by surprise after they hear so much hype and didn't expect it. Not a bad thing at all, just a different sort of modern man's scent. It's not totally my style but I wear it occasionally and totally respect it. I just wish they would crank up the cardamom or at least just bring this stuff back to the States for its devotees. And don't get too upset about its discontinuation, honestly, because ultimately, it is just a more powerful version of La Nuit de L'Homme, and to the casual nose, I promise you, it is virtually indistinguishable. I've watched a few on-the-street vids asking women which they prefer, and they consistently pick normal La Nuit because it is noticeably less powdery and feminine if you smell them side by side. Bleu Electrique is a tradeoff of better performance at the cost of being more floral and powdery. If you like that part, then it's a win-win, but I think most men prefer a more masculine balance that you'll get with normal La Nuit. Regardless, at a certain point, when the price gets too high (I'm about there. I just bought a spare 60mL bottle for about 90US with shipping), you are better off spending the extra cash on more standard La Nuit de L'Homme and just overspraying. The talk of performance issues on La Nuit are pretty over-dramatic in my opinion. It isn't exactly nuclear stuff, but it does well enough. TLDR: Women love this stuff. Trust. If you're inexperienced, don't be surprised when this smells like liquid baby powder to you. It might not appeal to men under the age of 22, but it's so universal that honestly anyone can pull it off. If you're short on cash, fear not, because normal-ass La Nuit is probably better on a man anyway. EDIT: I just got a few bottles of Xerjoff Starlight and that is exactly the cardamom bomb I was looking for. Combined with bleu electrique or straight la nuit de lhomme it is flat out amazing. Starlight is pretty damn pricey, so sorry about that, but if you have the coin and want to round this scent out with some more warmth and a big dose of cardamom, I recommend sampling it and considering it. Honestly, it brought these scents back into wearing for myself, because I do truly love them like others do, I just feel they are imbalanced toward the powdery lavender side of things. I guess I fixed that, and now that combo is my real go-to. I don't always spray right over each other when layering, but in this case, Starlight is so heavy on the cardamom that I'll usually do a couple of sprays of that and 3 or 4 of BE or La Nuit over that. Just gotta experiment. My nose isn't the best after all.

The best intimate scent I have tried, but as always, not perfect I've had the "vintage" original LNDLH with the strong performance, and that was truly special This has that DNA, but with a fresher spin. I think I actually prefer this electrique for the scent, though the performance is not as strong I'll talk about the vibes and feeling, rather than the specific notes It opens with a very rich feeling, warm. Sweet with an edge taken off it. Then it has the "bleu electrique" bit alongside. It adds a bit of levity and fun to it - like a splash of some "bleu" - fresh shower gel type thing, but more as an add-on to the warm feeling and gives it some extra "pop". It is not a freshie. To sum it up, it's an intimate evening intoxicating smell but with an air of cool. Something a gentleman would wear; old money if you like. Performance is not beastly, nor should it be. Projects 0.5m, but sits fairly heavy around you. It will only stay this way for around 1-2 hours, so suggest to apply this literally 5-10 mins before meeting your date! It will give a fantastic first impression After 1-2 hours, the projection softens further. Everything is toned down a bit. The bleu eases off, and more of the LNDLH comes through. Spicy-ish, boozy-ish, warm. This part will last a further 1-2 hours, perfect to see you through the date At the 4 hour mark, this will almost certainly be a skin scent. Just a warm and inviting smell. Will make your companion feel cosy, comfortable and relaxed when they are close to you. There will be little to no projection, but for the purpose of this fragrance, that is ideal. It will stay a skin scent/on clothes for a long time, even another 10 hours. Even a day or 2 on clothes If you're out for longer, I'd reapply at the 3-4 hour mark, but fewer sprays than when you started , else it will become too heavy (Pretty much) every woman will love this. This will work for a gentleman dressed sharply, but probably not so good for teens or casual dressers. Not for daily wear; for occasions Tips: Always carry an atomiser with this one Towards the end of your date, spray your chest twice. If she comes in for a hug/kiss, this will stick to her clothes and stay there until the following day. She will remember you fondly If you're feeling bold, sneak (just one) spray onto her clothes / coat / car upholstery / bedding. It will stay there. She'll notice it the next evening, and if you've done your job on the date, this will be on her mind and therefore so will you Do not spray onto anything white as it is likely to stain it Don't wear in hot weather, and advise to stick to nighttime About me (if it helps) - Male in 30s - Work as a Dr - Easy-going personality - Light skin - Normal skin composition (i.e. not greasy, not dry) - Prefer fresh rather than rich scents

In short: Clutch41 and many others summed it up pretty prefectly. To my nose I would say it's an 85-90% of the original 2009 batch YSL LNdL and 10-15% YSL Frozen Cologne, but with better longevity. Not a ton, but maybe 90+ minutes longer on my skin, giving me about 9 hours total. It may only last 3-4 on you or it might last 8-9 hours. It depends on how the original LNdL performed on you. 10/10 Longer: It gives me about a 4 feet diameter scent bubble for the first 4 hours, then gets closer, as it should, in my opinion, since it's not a club scent and more of an intimate, "closer", sexy, compliment getting scent. But it can still be smelled 2-3 feet away for the next 5 hours or so before turning to a half a foot away scent for the last hour. (It will last for days on clothes, unless you wash them immediately) It is in no way offensive smelling in those scent bubbles though. You and others can smell it, and it will get noticed, but in the best way. Not in a super strong/overpowering/possible headache giving way like being close to someone that bathed in a strong club fragrance. It's just perfect for what it's meant to be (not a big club type scene fragrance with 500 other people around wearing 15 sprays of 1 million) on my skin. It would work in a bar or smaller club though. Pretty much every female I've been around loves and compliments it. However, you can always over-spray and make it last longer and project further and it still won't be offensive to the nose. If you love the original (2009), I would stock up on this if you can, before the price soars or they reformulate it, because it just came out and it's great. The 4.73 out of 5 that it is currently rated at as I write this is accurate to us who have smelled these first batches (although I would rate it even higher). Years from now though, if they don't discontinue it or if they reformulate it and make it twice as expensive, I'm sure people will say it's "over-hyped" and dislike or hate it. But as of now, this is amazing stuff and well worth the buy. 10/10

La Nuit de L’homme was my signature scent for a good 2-3 years and I absolutely adore that scent profile, so of course, when I heard that LNDL Bleu Electrique was quite close to the original, I had to get it. The words that come to mind when I think of this fragrance, and the original LNDL are “sexy” and “seductive.” The scent profile is simply magnetic and alluring. Bleu Electrique is essentially the same as the original LNDL, bar the opening - The opening smells like that of a blue shower gel, and very obviously so. It does not come off as the same quality as say Bleu de Chanel. I’m not sure as to what they were trying to achieve when they thought of making this, or why the fragrance itself has an ‘electrique’ in its name. However, that shower gel smell dissipates very soon, and the original combination of lavender and cardamom is unparalleled. In the late dry-down, the fragrance becomes woody and powdery, which is still incredibly sexy. I still prefer opening of the OG, and there aren’t any other significant differences worth mentioning as compared to the original. I believe this scent profile is suitable for individuals of all ages. However, it is not a loud perfume, so those who prefer intimate projection should consider it. I currently have a bottle bearing the batch number 38WD01L. There is an unexpected plus side of it being a light performer, however. Usually when one would see the notes similar to those in this perfume, one would assume that it maybe unwearable in high heat or could get cloying when over sprayed, but you get none of that with LNDL or LNDL BE. The longevity of this fragrance is approximately 5-6 hours. It is best worn for oneself, as its projection is intimate to moderate. This fragrance was not intended to be attention-seeking; it is for reserved & soft individuals who prefer to keep to themselves and their close circle. While I would appreciate a longer lifespan and potentially a more pronounced projection, I would rate it a 9 out of 10 overall.

La Nuit de L'Homme Bleu Électrique Yves Saint Laurent It's Elusive and Expensive now for this Hard to Find Flanker for LNDL. Personally I can't see why YSL went to discontinued this as the scent is so very mass appealing, even more so than the popular LNDL, whose current formulation is a little weak compared to the vintage LNDL. Somehow this BE does remind me of vintage LNDL. Wearing this makes me smells like a young energetic guy aka fuk boi. I'm gonna wear this out and hit the pubs one of these nights. Back to the scent...yea smells great, the heavy use of cardamon along with the lavender and geranium just makes you so juicy, for everyone around you, especially the ladies. That said, if you don't like cardamon or lavender you probably won't like BE. There's quite a few dupes or alternatives in the market trying to copy the DNA and I have a few and most did ok, so there's no need to purposely hunt for a bottle of BE at a exorbitant price. Iconic Nuit Pour Homme Grandeur is probably the closest to BE with a weaker ginger note but everything else is 1 for 1 close, easily 85-90% there except for the opening nothing beats the BE's opening. Al Nashama Caprice Lattafa Perfumes main dna is there but it comes across as more powdery and slightly sweeter but the cardamom is stronger. This Caprice does need some sitting and maceration and you'll probably find it getting better. Jack Of Clubs Fragrance World main dna is there too, also more powdery and sweeter and needs manceration but it doesn't last as long as the Caprice. Enough on the dupes and back to BE, it's mainly the dna you want get and smell so I'll just say get a bottle of 200ml LNDL and happily overspray it all over and decant in out in a 10-20ml and bring along in your bag for a respray later in the day, since the current formulation for LNDL is that lasting for many. No point going for the BE unless you wanna collect it.

I bought it here in New Zealand because I was always hearing good things about the original old LNDL, 90% would say the original is the best date night scent, its sexy, irresistible, and possibly the G.O.A.T of a date night -smell-. I am not talking about performance here, I am just talking about the smell of it. So I was interested in the original, but after some research, I noticed that EVERYONE said the performance was crap in all aspects haha. So I had to figure a way to get the same smelling fragrance but with better performance, and oh boy did they do it right? It is the original 2012 LNDL but better. It still has the OG opener but they added a twist to it which makes it fresher now. It is THE ULTIMATE date night Netflix and chill/ intimate shoulder leaning vibe. Not a BEAST mode performance, but it is not supposed to be. This is something to be used with a calm and chill approach, not a " HEY EVERYONE LOOK AT ME". The projection is about 1.5 feet in the first 3-4 hours then it becomes a bit closer on the 6-7 hour mark and from there on it just goes closer and closer until its just skin. But there is not a moment where it is completely gone, you can always notice it. It's relaxing, chill, inviting, sexy, seductive, masculine, and addictive. Absolutely 10/10 fragrance for the situation I described. It is in fact 2012 LNDL made again but better. This is my forever date night / girlfriend staying at home scent. 10/10

Well, I'm new to 'collecting', but I have loved my YSL La'Nuit De l'Homme for several years. As my eyes have been opened to this world of flankers/niche/dupes/etc. I've been wanting to buy this flanker because of my love of the OG... However, I can't find this cologne here (and I don't purchase from eBay). So instead, I purchased J♣️ by Fragrance World... I've been told it's a pretty good dupe, so I did the 'ol blind buy. Therefore, this is more of my thoughts on Jack of Clubs than it is Bleu Electrique... I would be writing this review on it's page, but it doesn't exist here on Fragrantica (is fragrance world banned from here?). Bottom line, Jack of Clubs shot up to my top five colognes. Period. I love this scent. It's just different enough than the OG LNDL that wearing one the day after the other feels like a different cologne to my nose, but still familiar, almost signature scent. I've gotten more positive responses from this cologne in one month than any cologne I've worn in the past year. The Sillage isn't strong, but as I walk by, others can then smell it. Performance on my skin is pretty good - about 6-8 hours. I find that if I mix it up with one spray of Oud de Glory, I have a near perfect cologne. Eventually I'll pick up the real Bleu Electrique, but until then, I'm going to be buying back of bottles of Jack of Clubs.

Unfortunately labeled as a sexy/date night fragrance! I truly like to think of this as a blue cardamom+ginger easy 3-season signature (with leniency towards cooler summer days/nights). There is nothing completely nocturnal in the fragrance, while there isn't anything that makes it day-time only - very versatile and such a great wearing experience. Still, could be a great scent for date nights - especially due to it not projecting a whole lot. I do get the resemblance to the original LNDLH but, compared to others in the line, stands out with this blue aura. Been wearing this fragrance for the last couples of days and just wanting more - opening to dry-down I enjoy it. The opening is lively and lightly spicy but my favorite part is dry-down somewhat 4-5 hours into the fragrance -> the skin scent this leaves on is lovely! Performance is nothing I could complain about, though I wish more of the bright opening remained on the mid. Projects for around 1.5-2 hours, then becomes, on me, a skin scent/difficult to smell 7h into the fragrance. Price? I think it's okay - paid around $78 for 60ml (this is hard to get in the US) and about $83 in total with taxes. I'd price it with the Le Parfum for this line, maybe ~$90-100 for 100ml would be perfect, but no more than that!

Among the perfumes I have, this one, along with Guerlain's L’Homme Ideal EDP, gives me the greatest sense of happiness and calm (and I don't have any olfactory memories associated with these two fragrances). For a few months, this YSL was hard to find in Europe (mine came from the Czech Republic), but I finally managed to buy it. Even though I paid more than usual compared to a few months ago (I bought a 60 ml bottle for €62 in September 2023), the purchase was fully satisfying. It belongs to the YSL L’Homme “family” but has some special characteristics. The opening is fantastic, and the dry down is as well. It is not a great projector and doesn't last long on my skin (about 6 hours on a good day), but it is one of those scents that are truly worth trying at least once in a lifetime. Suitable for any season of the year, this is the scent profile I would like to find more often among the blue fragrances that proliferate out there. I don't like most of them (neither Sauvage, nor Bleu de Chanel, nor MYSLF or Luna Rossa Ocean, among others), but this perfume is quite different from the ones I mentioned. A must-have! In the beginning this smelled like tamarind to me, more specifically some kind of Mexican tamarindo candy which was very off putting to me. Couple days later I revisited and was blown away by the smell - idk what was going on at first, but now its a beautiful powdery, fresh, exotic smell - I can’t really describe it in words. If you have an opportunity to sample/try, please do. While I can’t justify the insane hype around this, it does actually smell amazing. I find this to be more versatile than the OG la nuit, or any of the other flankers. The ginger and geranium give it this fresh, gentlemanly quality, which blends wonderfully with the lavender and woods. Cardamom is the dominant note of course, however the aromatics prevent it from smelling overly spicy or exclusively for cool weather. This can be worn year round, just not the absolute hottest of days, and probably not during high noon (just use common sense). Ultimately this fragrance smells romantic, exotic, expensive, and elegant. 9/10 with decent performance (average projection, 5-7 hours longevity)

La Nuit de l’Homme Bleu Électrique When I first tried this scent at a local store, being new to the fragrance world, I was initially thrown off by the cardamon note since there aren’t many designer fragrances like it and I wasn’t used to it and hadn’t tried the original LNDL yet. I tried it a few more times and everytime I smelled it I liked it more and more. An absolute Masterpiece fragrance. Very fresh and warm spicy Ginger, Cardamon Opening that dries down to a clean woody Lavender and Geranium base. I never get tired of smelling this. Needless to say it is now one of my favorite Fragrances in my collection. It is a very versatile scent for fall, winter and spring and can even be worn on cooler summer nights. Personally, it lasts about 8-9 hours on my skin with moderate projection. If you like the normal LNDL it is probably blind buy safe and you can still get this occasionally on some EU websites for a good price. I have a batch from 2021 and one from 2023 and there is no difference in performance or smell.

This is such a beautiful cardamom and lavander smell that I wish it performed better than it does. In terms of smell it is an airy, creamy, sweet cardamom and lavander smell that is well blended and quite bright and light based upon simple iso e super woody base. Absolutely clean and sexy. Suitable for a younger innocent man. Ladies absolutely love it. Even my wife always comments positively about it when I wear it (which is quite a compliment, since she rarely comments on my fragrances spontaneously). I don’t really detect any geranium or rose nuance, rather there could be ambroxan or some other ambergris-like raw material inside. Suitable for spring, summer and warmer autumn days. It’s biggest drawback is it’s very poor longevity which only seems to last a couple of hours with strong projection. It is also less suitable for darker skin and favors lighter skin complexion. All and all it is an absolutely beautiful warm weather formulation that is lacking in longevity.

Listen to me. Do not spend 200+ dollars for this. I have it and it is no way worth that. The projection and longevity are not the best. It essentially smells LNDL + Incense. It has an obnoxiously blue color. So many better things to spend your money on. If someone hooks you up for 130 for 100ml, I could see that. Update: 100ml bottles are for sale 250-350??? Absolutely unjustified! They were right to charge 80 retail. I do have several bottles of it and I am torn between selling it to someone for what it's worth only for them to hoard and try to take advantage of someone else for the 300+ current rate. Absolutely horrible for anyone to charge that. People should be ashamed of themselves. 100-130 is what this is really worth. This is not louder than LNDL and why would someone say it's great then be trying to sell you an almost full bottle unless they're trying to take advantage of you. Also, sex in a bottle? Give me a break man.

I got this for 75€ from a discounter an it is absolutely incredible. It's not particularly long lasting (around 6-8 hours on my skin), but during that time and especially during the first 2 hours it projects a TON at least if you spray like 6+ times. I sprayed it 8 times in my room with the door fully shut and when I came out my friend from the other side of the apartment asked me what I was wearing. It's an amazing scent for a date, but it's also a great scent if you're going to a bar or just a night out in general. I personally love this and will definitely consider getting another bottle of it to have it when this bottle is empty. scent: 100/10 longevity: 8/10 projection: 8/10 (you will have to spray fairly heavy if you want it to really project nicely) overall: 9/10 I would really want to give it a 10/10 overall because I love the scent itself so much but cant justify it because of the somewhat lacking performance

Bleu Électrique smells like the original EDTs sensible young brother. The edges are smoother, the sweetness and spices are toned down, ultimately creating a more versatile La Nuit De L'homme. It is funny how this fragrances reputation has gone full circle, originally influencers hyped this up as it is essentially just original La Nuit De L'homme with added performance. Now I see negative reviewers claiming it is underwhelming and that is it JUST La Nuit De L'homme. I guess that they had much higher expectations due to the immense hype and the discontinued halo. Idk WTF happened in the middle and why people seemed to think that this was some juice from the holy grail, but there was a definite loss in translation. La Nuit De L'homme Bleu Électrique is a masterpiece fragrance, however I cannot justify keeping my bottle as i believe the original is a slightly better scent and I hate clinging onto discontinued fragrances.

One of the best fragrances Ive ever ever smelled . Sprayed it on my neck and the sleeves of my sweater , the next day(15ish hours later) as i was studying , chose to wear the same sweater and after a while i was like “omg , something smells REALLY REALLY good” , but there was no one else in the library at the time , i was a bit confused and looked around for a bit , only to realize it was the Bleu Electrique on my sweater sleeve that smelled SO amazing . On me , its very subtle , doesn’t project too much , I would describe it was clean but cozy and snuggly . When people hear “clean fragrance” , they might think of overpowering strong citrus type smells and/or synthetic smells , but its NOT like that at all . Similarly when people hear “cozy fragance” they might think of excessively thick and cloying smells sweet or gourmand smells , its NOT like that either . Its....honestly perfect for me , for so many occasions:))

Incredible flanker. Essentially the same base as vintage LNDL with more freshness and a hit of ginger. Louder and stronger than LNDL, more modern and energetic but still 90% similar. Those 10% make it a great addition to any fan of the original’s collection and it is not redundant to have both BUT the price some people ask for it online is indeed insane. It can’t be replaced by the original necessarily or any other flanker but it’s also not so crazily different. I do see and understand the hype for it though. It’s a 10/10 scent wise for me, performance is average to above average too. Price is great for retail ... not so great if you’re getting fleeced by scalpers online. Bottle is also resistant since my girlfriend dropped it by accident and it bounced 3 times in the floor. Not a scratch. We should start reviewing this, who cares about sillage and all that

Man this is near perfection. Just imagine the OG La Nuit De L’Homme but more versatile and complete. This fragrance could be worn all year around, almost any occasion. I would dress it up, not dress it down. This fragrance is so sexy, it draws the ladies in. This fragrance will get you memorable moments if you know what i mean, once someone gets a whiff of this beauty they will love it dearly. Don’t waste this fragrance, wear it in the right moment to conquer your conquest, if you know what i mean. The longevity is good as well, much better than the original. Scent: 10/10 Versatility: 9/10 Price: 9/10 Longevity: 8.5/10 Overall: 9.1/10, a very sexy fragrance that will make anyone and even you to feel in love with yourself.

Love this one, and of course it smells like a designer... its a freaking designer. That said it does what designers do the best. Super safe, mass appealing and a compliment getter. That said, its discontinued so it will fetch whatever someone is willing to pay. Im not selling mine, but if someone gets 250 for it... that's what it was worth to whoever buys it. If it came out today, it would be 170 or so for a 100 ml. Let us not forget, that you arent getting fragrances, other than middle eastern dupes on the cheap anymore, or just old "who cares" fragrances. Discontinued will almosy always bring up the price, especially on a well liked frag. People out here acting like pricing hasn't gone sky high the last 4-5 years.

Intoxicating scent. Spicy cardamon and ginger, with a powdery woods. It has a freshness to it that could easily make it a daily signature for the fall/spring. Longevity isnt the best 2-3 hrs soft medium projection with 6-8 hrs longevity. This is the perfect seductive scent for date nights/evenings out, while also being fresh enough to wear on a cool day. I see reviews saying this is too feminine and floral for a man, and while I can understand the sentiment this is one of the sexiest scents a man can wear. To me, the feminine qualities of the scent are what make it so incredible. I wore this on a first date months back, and she has since became my girlfiend. One of my fragrances for life.

I have not yet smelt the OG of this just saw hyped YouTube reviews and decided to take the plunge and go for this. This bad boy is such a love. Think I get it now. Just some minutes of spending time with this scent from a perfume oil and I am loving every discovery whiff. It's like eating a cardamom cake with bergamot flavour on an evening for the first time and taking it in bits and savoring the sweetness better than the first bite. And trust me it gets better with the perfume oil because the top notes don't really go away until after hours. Plus it's going to last much longer than the alcohol version. Get you some perfume oil. This is a 14/10. That cardamom being the star of the show.

La Nuit De L'Homme Bleu Électrique is a beautiful, masculine, clean, luxurious bar of lavender soap with a bunch of cardamom and ginger in the opening and a woody dry down. LNDL's cardamom DNA is still noticable with a heavy dose of gingery freshness make it much better for my taste. Much smoother and fresher then the OG LNDL. It's very versatile, not just a date fragrance, far from it, it's an amazing daily. My only problem with the whole L'Homme & La Nuit De L'Homme lines is the performance. Somewhat weak projection and bang average longevity. It wouldn't be a huge problem but they also somewhat pricy for how they perform. Must try in my opinion.

The smell is great, smells a little bit like Baby powder to me. But great for intimate settings. Performance for me is pretty weak though max 3-4 hours and can be a hint skin scent. Projection is only for the first hour and very close to skin. But I guess that what it was designed for. Honestly kind of over hyped. I overpaid for a discon scent and although I like it, I wouldn’t be sad if I sold it. Great night time scent, date time or even day time in the warmer months where you’d get more performance. The smell alone for me is the best part being subtle, sweet and soothing especially the cardamom, but knocking it down for performance. 8/10

There's something so intoxicating about this fragrance. Quite often I find myself reaching for an aromatic, 'fresh out the shower' blue scent, and am torn between many that only just miss the mark. L'eau D'Issey Pour Homme? Nah... Too much citrus. Dior Sauvage? Not really, a bit of an ambroxan overload. YSL Y? Even that is missing a little 'something' that I can't put my finger on. Bleu Electrique delivers everything you'd expect from a traditional 'men's' fragrance and adds its own uniqueness and warmth. It is so unique and versatile that it snatches compliments from anyone you walk past, no matter the season or occasion.

The phrase "sex in a bottle" gets thrown around a lot these days and I think it's incredibly cringe. However LNDL Bleu Électrique might be the only fragrance I have ever smelled where I think using this comparison is appropriate. This is a capital M Masterpiece. When it comes to designer scents you won't find much better. It smells very similar to the original but due to the added blue aspect it can be worn more often. I would argue it can even be worn during summer nights if you go easy on the trigger. Especially the opening of this fragrance sparkles like none other. YSL really shit the bed by discontinuing this one.

First off I'm not familiar with the original formulations of La nuit de l'homme. But as far as I can tell this is like current day La nuit de l'homme but with a bit better performance all around and with a *slightly* fresher aspect to it. I got it for my brother and he loves it, you can't really go wrong. Is it super original? No. Is it like the hype says "the discontinued savior of YSL"? Not really. Does it smell incredibly alluring and sexy, with actually passable performance? Absolutely. If you can get your hands on this for a good price it's 100 percent worth it. But if you already have LNDLH it's redundant.

I love Bleu Electrique, the citrus ginger opening is so beautiful and gives it an almost sparkling quality. It's a bit sweeter and fresher than original LNDH, and likewise, has better longevity. Into the dry down it's very similar to the original but stronger. The original is a 9/10 in my opinion this is a 9.5/10. I don't think BE is worth twice as much as the original and there is a great dupe called Iconic Nuit Cerulean which is 90% similar for $30 for a 100ml. I can't justify current asking prices for BE. Just buy the original or INC and over spray, but if you find this for under $100 for a 100ml, go for it!

Never understood the immense hype and cult following of this fragrance. Who starts these echo chambers? There’s a reason fragrances like this go out of production. When it’s mass-produced, not a limited edition, and still fails to sell, that says everything. It smells like a powdery, synthetic version of the EDT, making it even more feminine than the original, which was already unisex. This one leans heavily feminine. Don’t get fooled by the hype train on forums. As a man, you’re not missing out on anything with this short-lived, female-leaning perfume. I sold my bottle quickly after wearing it once.

Some say this is just a powdery scent but I really think that the facets that it produces dependent on the season and weather, give out a very pleasant and sophisticated aroma that overcomes the simplicity of just picking up a bland powder scent. In my case I’ve been complimented using this fragrance and I’ve felt the scent bubble effect and different phases of notes. It’s a very elegant, semi sweet, warm, fresh and alluring scent. Thank god I grabbed a bottle before it got discontinued. Dupes are good but nothing beats the original formula, that’s what makes every olfative creation a particular one.

This is a Masterpiece for designer fragances. I only have two complaints: It's discontinued so the remaining available bottles makes this extremly expensive (almost on Niche pricing) and the I would really like to have more longevity on this. I know this line in general is more for 'date' and they all lack performace, but that makes it even more difficult to justify the pricing on this beauty. Now, the smell itself it excellent. It's sweet but not cloying, it's slighty spicy, clean and fresh, pretty seductive too. I would reccomend it only if you really love this DNA because of the pricing. 10/10.

Wearing this today, it's been a while. Absolutely love it. I can see why some may not get excited about it, but to me, it's amazing. It's better than the clones, but they are close enough to get the idea. I have the Caprice one and it's very nice. I gave away Jack of clubs, very similar as well. Bleu just has a crispiness with the cardamom and woods that hits a perfect note for me. It's easy and non offensive light and classy. Highly recommend the DNA regardless of brand. The only fragrance I've ever bought on Ebay, so there's that. Twice.

Great fragrance, I'm happy to have it, but no need to long for something missed. Not sure how anyone could hate this, its very classy and classic. Somebody below seemed to be raging about how terrible this is. Makes me think he got scammed. I have dupes and this is still superior, but not by miles. The Caprice one is good, it's slightly more powdery but you'll get the idea. I think it lives up to everything positive said about it, but go get the original or a dupe and enjoy those. Then, if the price tag on Ebay doesn't bother you, get it.

The “loudest” fragrance I have in my collection and my sexiest one to date. It’s very clean, sophisticated, and sexy. More for special events with dressed up outfits. This ignited my love for cardamom and YSL. I currently own three bottles from the house because it’s my favorite designer alongside Chanel. The three YSL bottles are: YSL L’Homme EDT, YSL L’Homme Ultime, and YSL La Nuit de L’Homme Bleu Electrique. YSL’s take on warm spicy is phenomenal and worth owning. Just enough to make a subtle statement without being obnoxious 🤵🏻♂️

This is the fragrance I enjoy the most wearing for the past 4 years. It's basically LNDL plus some freshness from ginger and geranium making it more versatile. It's a great all around sexy fragrance without being offensive as it's not very loud, may not be the best for office, but for me it's a great pick for most occasions. All day cold weather fragrance and good for chilly summer nights. I have 2 bottles of this trying to use it sparingly and looking to try some good clones of this so I can use them daily. 10/10

After only smelling the opening I nearly wanted to refund it, but now after having it for half a year it has become easily my favourite fragrance of all time. The dry down is incredible, and it has amazing longevity when sprayed on clothes. The scent pyramid on fragrantica gives a pretty accurate representation of what you get, but I would say test it out first - just don't knock it down because of the opening like me and properly give it a chance to shine.

Very similar but a more versatile version of the original La Nuit. It’s La Nuit with somewhat of a blue edge. So you can basically wear this anytime. Longevity and silage is average. You’re guaranteed to smell good. For me it’s a good dumb reach. I don’t know why YSL doesn’t bring La Nuit Frozen back. It would sell like crazy and such an easy money grab. So simple. My biggest regret is not buying back up bottles, but this Bleu version will do for now.

Smells gorgeous,much better than the original LNDL and it actually performs better,seductive elegance in a bottle and incredible for a date,maybe one of the most attractive scents of all time,such a bad thing ysl discontinued it,and i would of loved it to perform better,i get 6 hours max while mostly being a skin scent,but with this i can spray up to 20 times and no one will complain. Longevity:5/10 Smell:11/10

LNDL profile for sure.... Because of the Cardamom it's very similar to Wanted by Night but toned way down for almost office wear and maybe a little more mature than WBN. If you liked that scent profile you gonna also love this one. Overall really lovely Cardamom profile. Really liked it on first wear. Really nice but since it cant be found readily its a little overpriced on the "black" market in my opinion.

For fragrance to be good or awesome need to be good and awesome.Not to be groundbreaking or something new or beast performance(wtf is people today asking for beast performance why in the sametime they performing less,and less?) it has to be pleasent ,that you enjoy and others if you like,and Eleqtrique is all that.Plus is the elegant and slightly fresher than OG which i also have and love.

Just bought 2x 100ml bottles - This is an absolute masterpiece thank god you can still buy this in my country (Denmark) This is the perfect fall/winter fragrance, that is very easy to enjoy. Never tried the OG La Nuit De L’Homme, so I can't compare them. I paid 78 dollars per bottle, absolute steal in my opinion. Edit: They discontinued it around Oktober/November last year in Denmark

If you take the original and make it about 30–40% fresher and louder, that’s Bleu Électrique. It keeps everything great about the original but adds more punch and projection. I actually prefer this version most of the time — it gets more compliments too. Still, the original has this unique, edible charm and a more minimalist feel that makes it special in its own way.

Cardamom and Ginger beauty in the opening and pleasant florals in the dry down. Can’t put words to how much I like this scent. Smells like the color blue. Nearly identical to the original, but less of the “spice cabinet” feel, with more of a smooth woody smell, like a carpenters living room. Embodies the “fresh spicy” smell. Excellent date night or daily. 9/10

The opening and mid smell so close to vintage La Nuit de L'Homme its unbelievable. Its like they took more of original L'Homme and shoved it into LNdL. This is what you want if you're looking for a longer lasting better smelling version vs current batches of LNdL. Get this you will not regret it. It smells like modern La Nuit de L'Homme in the best way 10/10

LDNL Le Parfum is/was my favourite scent of all time then i managed to track down a bottle of this. It is a masterpiece and the stand out flanker that destroys it's originator. If you really want this fragrance but can't find it then Al Nashima Caprice AND Jack of Clubs are both perfect clones, I own all three and they're the same. Enjoy!

I have the 2010 La Nuit de l'Homme and Bleu Electrique side by side. If I have to be dead honest they smell 95% identical. Bleu Electrique is just slightly less sweet and a tad bit more powdery than 2010 La Nuit de l'Homme. I honestly think this made vintage La Nuit bottles obsolete unless you're holding onto it for sentimental value.

Absolutely beautiful scent. I had this last winter as my scent and it pains me how fast I ran out. This is one of the ideal scents that just satisfy me perfectly. The rich aromaticity this holds is just so pleasing to smell. Doesn't really last which is sad, but when it smells this good I don't even care.

I love this. Everything from start to finish is perfect. The cardamom is just the right amount of spicy, the heart is just the right amount of deep, and the woods add the perfect amount of smoothness at the base... Actually guys, it sucks let me keep all the bottles so you don't have to deal with it ;)

Just blind bought it for a great value (60 euros) and I have to say it has a designer-likeability but it's pretty unique. It's not loud or anything in a beast-mode conversation but it'll do the job for nighttime occasions. This is not a unisex fragrance, I can see only men wearing it

Lovely smell, a lighter, fresher version of YSL Nuit, but it’s so incredibly weak on performance & projection. Barely a skin scent after 1-2 hours on me. Also ridiculously priced now that it’s discontinued. A shame as the smell is great, but I wouldn’t buy.
