Looking only at male perfumes, the original "La Nuit de L'Homme" by Yves Saint Laurent has always been a big exponent when it comes to anonymous praise or appearing in more social settings. Undoubtedly, ladies like this fragrance and notice men who wear it. Because it has been massively commented on and broadcast, at least on YouTube, everyone has a bottle (or two). Currently, it has become an 'easy' fragrance and I am not sure that it will retain its initial effectiveness. "La Nuit de L'Homme Le Parfum" by Yves Saint Lauren" could hardly be a "common" flanker of "La Nuit de L'Homme". It lacks the cardamom note, which is perhaps the most noticeable note in the original. I think it's a slightly different scent. It's a fragrance that is very well made, but unfortunately, a little underperforming and little known to the public. It starts with an oriental mixture of anise, fennel, and pepper, similar to "Opium pour Homme" also by Yves Saint Laurent, but with a small dose of mild lavender. The body is filled with sweet and strong fruity notes. At the base, the resins and discreet vetiver give the dryness a masculine note, which is also sweetened by peaceful vanilla. It is less young and more mature than the original. For me, this is the best "La Nuit ...". It is a fragrance that attracts less attention, but it becomes much more effective in terms of "close encounters". From this point of view, it makes an excellent team with the original: one can be used for flirting and the other for intimate use. Let's rate this intimacy potion: ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ Opening: 9.5 (spicy and aniseed opening accord that gives way to a very fruity body) Drydown: 8.5 (soft vanilla and vetiver dryness) Longevity: 6.5 (5~6 hours in my skin, with 3 sprays; below average) Sillage: 6.5 (4~5 feet sillage with 1.5 hours of projection; better if used on clothes) Exclusivity: 7.5 (not many similar fragrances, but a certain familiarity with the original "La Nuit de L'Homme (Eau de Toilette) | Yves Saint Laurent"; I also think it resembles the younger "Mauboussin Private Club | Mauboussin "). Truly a great and unique variation of a classic fragrance. Different enough, but yet still pays homage to the original. Le Parfum is able to emulate the essence of cardamom from the original without actually using it; and the three notes that do that and truly make up the scent are pepper, lavender, and vanilla. The vanilla doesn't make it too sweet, the pepper doesn't make it too spicy, but the lavender is what cools it and blends the two wonderfully. Le Parfum leaves a cool, smooth, and deep scent while creating a subtle cloud around you and a nuanced trail for others to smell. Le Parfum works phenomenally in intimate settings and where you'll be close with others. This scent is meant to bring in others quietly without being too forward. The design of the bottle also captures the scent's image too, a man of the night whose cool and smooth nature only leave you questioning who that man is. A little dramatic of a review, but honestly, La Nuit de L'homme Le Parfum is arguably one of the most unique and attractive scents out of all the options there are. For those who are curious, I have been given numerous compliments on the scent by family, friends, and strangers, though not as much from strangers because again, it's a scent for a more closed and intimate setting. It could be really used all year round, but really only for the night. For those who love the original but are disappointed over the reformulations can comforbalty come to this for comfort. The lack of cardamom can be concerning for most, but you'll come to realize this scent does wonderfully without it. For those looking for "projection" and "longevity" will be confused over this scent. Those two factors aren't everything for a fragrance, though this scent does actually last for a good while it isn't some huge "projector" as many people seek for in fragrances, but is a decent one. You'll come to realize that you don't want your fragrances "projecting" so much and would much rather have fragrances politely invite others in. And Le Parfum is perfect for that. I would highly recommend this cologne for men who love the the Nuit line. A cool and smooth fragrance for a man of the same traits. A solid option and perhaps the only one you need from this line. I'm crazy about the opening of this stuff, and I like it a lot throughout, but man, the opening is so dang good. It is quite distinctive in its sort of spiciness, so it is something that should be sampled if money is a big factor, but I can see how a lot of people might like it a lot. The performance doesn't seem to be as bad to me as some have said, but it will vary from person to person. Seems average to me, not too bad. The body of its life is dominated by a sweet spiciness that seems very familiar to me, like some food or potpourri or something, but I can't put my finger on it. It is torturing me because it seems so familiar lol. I detect a little l'homme DNA, but only very subtlety, and the fragrance itself, to me, bears no resemblance to La Nuit de L'Homme whatsoever. It is strictly spicy and sweet, but pretty dang good. Definitely sample it if you like things like Sauvage Elixir, because (while they smell nothing alike) it has the same Christmassy vibe to it, although it stays on the spicy side instead of the balsamy, green, spicy mix in there, and it is nowhere near as insane of a beast performance wise. It is unique, satisfying, and undeniably creative. I recommend trying. EDIT: I don't want to delete from my impressions above, but spraying it now, I do detect quite a similarity to La Nuit right up top with a darker, way less lavendery cardamom note that you get in La Nuit which I am insane for, and wish lasted longer and was more present generally in La Nuit. To my nose, that beautiful cardamom departs pretty dang quickly and you head right into the deeper spices and sweetness. It doesn't vanish altogether, but yeah, I wish it was twice as present throughout its life. This is worthy of flanker status, but definitely not blind buy safe if you don't like to live dangerously or aren't an enormous fan of La Nuit de L'Homme, which I am but wasn't always. Another scent I might compare this to is The One Gold, only far far superior and not as sweet in TWG's strange way. I'm not a huge fan of that one, and it's spiciness is completely different, but it has a vibe that vaguely reminds me of that.

Well, after having made the same mistake over and over, reading reviews and basing my decision in many occasions on what the masses say, it is time for me to break free from these chains of mediocrity and character weakness.... Gentlemen, this is in no way, shape or form same as the original but weaker, it is very rich,dense and longer lasting, less loud, dark, aromatic and more refined. If you are over 27 or in your 30's already, you will find this fragrance a step forward the original, feels like a more dense and refined version of the original (which is more youthful and loud). This one is great for close encounters, dates, going out to nice fancy dinners, classical concerts, theater etc, High class events, whereas the original is for nightclubs, discos, pubs etc. Don't be mislead by the comments of 15 or 18 year old guys here bashing the fragrance because it does not project to the other side of the block, since this one despite not being loud, is very rich and dense and is more than enough when you want to enjoy your fragrance for longer but discretely, just like a gentleman and not like a pimp in a night club. Please always test your fragrances and decide for yourself whether you like it or not, and do not base your judgement in other people's take, since we are all different in matter of Taste, Age, race (skin factor), and specially Lifestyle! I would not like my fragrance to mix with the smell of a fine wine or my supper in a restaurant for instance. Fragrance should invite people to come closer to you, attracted by the subtle whiff they perceived on a particular moment, and not repel them by hitting hard with a slap on the nose! My point is that your perspective in fragrance depends on your lifestyle and age of course, therefore do not base your decision on mere reviews, Go to your nearest perfumery and try them on your skin, so you can decide if you like it, then when to wear it and finally how to wear it(dress code), fragrances also have to match your Lifestyle and appearance. This is one of those fragrances that didn't exactly wow me at first, but I found myself going back to again and again, and it surprisingly wound up being one of my most worn over the '22-'23 winter season. In the opening, there is no mistaking this as a LNDL flanker. As you can see above, cardamom isn't listed anywhere in the note breakdown. But the way that the fruits, the pepper, and the anise are utilized, it somehow creates a scent profile that smells very similar to the cardamom heavy original, yet still does its own thing. I believe the perfumers behind this fragrance are Anne Flipo, Pierre Wargnye (RIP), and Dominique Ropion -- the same composers of the original EDT, and what they accomplished here with the Parfum is something that I think is very clever and well done perfumery. As it dries down, LNDL le Parfum settles into something that is still slightly sweet from the vanilla, yet also woody, herbal, and a touch earthy from the base notes. Though the two fragrances don't smell anything alike, I would compare the dry-down of this to Prada's Amber Intense, in that they both have a refined and slightly sweet masculine barbershop profile, even though they go about it in totally different ways. This is something that I found to be completely absent in the LNDL EDT when comparing the two side-by-side, and it lends a more mature and masculine character to the parfum, which I really like a lot. For most people, I don't think the parfum is going to replace the EDT, at least when it comes to dates and special occasions. However, I personally find the parfum to be an easier wear for general, everyday use, while still easily capable of being worn for more formal events. The dry-down gives the parfum a degree of versatility that the EDT lacks. If you loved the original years ago and you want something a bit more mature and interesting, or if the idea of a more masculine and slightly edgier take on the original sounds appealing, then I would definitely recommend trying this.

This is fantastic. I now have five different L'Homme/La Nuit fragrances: the OGs L'Homme and La Nuit, L'Homme Ultime, L'Homme Libre, and now finally this and I actually had really high expectations for this since a few of my favorite YT reviewers said that this one was the hidden gem of the line, and also I just love the note listing and what everyone has said about it and why they like it is very appealing to me. Upon unboxing and smelling this for the first time, my expectations were not only met, but maybe even exceeded to some degree. That opening with the anise, the powdery lavender, spicy black pepper and the underlying support of the classic La Nuit DNA is just so intoxicating. Once it gets into the short dry down (i.e. a few minutes after it's been on your arm) it retains that, but the anise is less dominant and it becomes more of a supporting note to the lavender and the result is that it smells like almost a dirt cake, aka one of those cakes with Oreo cookies layered at the bottom, or at least it smells the way that that tastes which is even better. It's chocolatey, powdery, and there's this underlying fruitiness which is from the anise that I think is what some are referring to when they say this has a raspberry note. As it's sitting on my arm I'm starting to get more of the patchouli from the base and along with the anise and the black pepper and the general sweetness it almost has this Dr. Pepper sort of vibe to it. I really, really like this as it's drying down. I'm hoping that it's going to last like this, I still have to get a full wearing as this is just my initial impressions after unboxing it this morning, but I'm very impressed with it and I feel like this could be my signature night out fragrance.

What a lovely, and oddball, flanker. The signature cardamom from the original La Nuit de L'Homme is absent, and Le Parfum shares very little in common with its supposed inspiration. YSL should have released this as its own scent. Le Parfum stands on its own as a solid release, and the association with the original La Nuit de L'Homme is more thematic, but is otherwise misdirection. This scent is quite complex, but overall has an of incense vibe about it. It is spicy, and when mixed with the earthy base note of vetiver, it has a rich ash feel. Lavender will come and go, and something like honey pokes up now and then too - likely a composite of the notes playing off each other. It's a relaxing scent, as opposed to being spicy with an energetic edge to it. I would consider it versatile for intimate wear, relaxing in a casual setting, or being a sleeper hit at a formal occasion. It lasts on me for over 6 hours, usually somewhere around 8-9. The projection is understated, as parfum concentrations tend to be. Those within a meter or so will get intriguing whiffs, but you will not "announce" yourself with this scent. Despite my appreciation for this scent, I would not blind-buy it. These dense and dynamic spicy scents can be polarizing, and people can be looking for one of the notes to be doing more or less than they end up delivering.

Now THIS stuff kicks! Bought a bottle not too long ago to match my L'homme Le Parfum buy, and I have not been disappointed. This fragrance takes a small departure from the original EDT while still absolutely being LNDL. The longevity and projection are much improved over the EDT's current formulation, and while its not going to clear out a room, its strong enough to punch through the heavy hot air in a club enough to be noticed. The fragrance itself takes a much darker turn from that signature YSL base by adding these deep and inviting fruit notes, with JUUUUUST a hit of vanillic warmth to round out this gorgeous release. The spicy is still there, its still absolutely LNDL, and that signature YSL dna comes through like anything else, but what is coming out of the bottle here is silk sheets, stone fruits, and candle mood lighting. Its deeply sexy. Something you could bury your face into and stay there for hours. Fantastic for dates, clubs, and even a nice bar. A perfect "going out" scent. It wont really turn heads, but i think thats a good thing. This is the closer. That little cherry on top of a good outfit. And forgive me for saying, but this is one hell of a fuckin cherry. Gorgeous really is the word. Sweet, spicy, dark, and unbelievably inviting. Ill take this over the OG any day of the week.

I've owned both LNDL EDT and Le Parfum purchased around 2013-2014 and they've been my signature scents for a long time. I've also just bought decants from 2018 bottles because I missed them so much, so I can say that Le Parfum hasn't been watered down over the years (though the EDT certainly has), it's always just been a close-to-the-skin scent with low-to-moderate sillage. HOWEVER, it smells so much better than the EDT, in my opinion. Even if it's closer to the skin, it's denser, spicier and darker, unlike the EDT which ends in a light, powdery lavender drydown. This has an added clove and and pepper accord that makes this scent sweeter, while the EDT is fresher and brighter. Le Parfum sits close to the skin after 2-3 hours whereas the EDT projects like hell (at least the vintage one). In the drydown, though, this smells more potent than the EDT, which leaves a very faint skin scent at the end (especially the newer reformulations). I would recommend this over the EDT in more intimate one-on-one settings, while EDT would be great for going out and getting noticed in a crowd. If you have both EDT and Le Parfum, I might even recommend layering them so you have the brightness and the projection of the EDT and the close-to-skin potency and darkness of Le Parfum.

First off I’d like to clarify that I’m not as head over hills with the “original” La Nuit de l’Homme as most of the people in here, in fact I don’t own it but I do own 3 of the flankers. Despite how much I appreciate it and feel I should get it sooner or later I don’t believe it lives up to the insane hype. I’ve tested it (a reformulation) and while I feel it’s worth having and a great date scent it’s not the frag “to rule them all”. That being said, I love what they did with Le Parfum and how they improved on a formula that already proved to be a winner. I do miss the cardamom but I love how the fruity notes interact with and take La Nuit to whole new level. I also love the idea of including vanilla but I was hardly able to notice it so that’s perhaps my only issue, the absence of said vanilla. If La Nuit de l’Homme was a 30 year old guy I’d say Le Parfum is a 40 year old. A more seasoned version, just as sexy but a different kind of sexy so please, don’t dress Le Parfum down, embrace the full experience since this is a gentleman’s fragrance. Longevity is ok, average perhaps and sillage is moderate but a gentleman is never loud, he is subtile, does not draw attention for the wrong reason.

Of all of the L'homme flankers I've tried, this is the most challenging, and not in a bad way. It's a darker, more mysterious, herbaceous, and mature take on the core LNDH DNA. The herbaceousness will be down to the anise and vetiver I suppose. To my nose the anise in the opening has a celery-like note, which isn't surprising given they come from the same family. It's not similar, but Le Parfum does evoke similar feelings to Encre Noir, but in a much more accessible and less polarising package. It's quite distinct from LNDH, but especially in the dry down, there are clear hints of the original. Solid like, but not a signature scent. I wear this day or night, mostly in cooler weather. Sadly the performance is not as good as the original EDT. I know it's not the point, but I'd hope for more from an EDP. Edit: the more I wear this, the more I like it. Changed from like to love! Edit 2: Mind officially blown. Can't get enough. Le Parfum is now my signature scent. Such a shame it's been discontinued... backup bottle purchased.

I came to this scent by trying it from a scented patch inside a beauty zine. Usually I don’t even care to try anything because mostly that come inside are feminine and boring scents which are extremely sweet and nauseating.. Since this was a masculine one voila I went for it. Good for me. It’s the same DNA as Blue de Chanel BUT better. Lightyears better. Excellent performance of longevity and sillage. While BDC is sharp and dry at the opening LN is softer and fruitier without being sweet which is absolutely amazing. I love both but LN I can use during winter aka the colder seasons while my mood doesn’t match BDC during winter at all and, as I said, they’re quite similar. I’d say LN is fruitier and lighter while BDC is fresher and greener. They develop differently and the dry down isn’t quite similar but they share the same DNA of a kinda fresh green and fruity slightly masculine scent. I say slightly because I am a woman and I gladly wear masculine fragrances which aren’t 100 percent “after shave” DNA.

a freshly bought 60 ml flask, 38X02ML. if you already have the EDT, an OG, you don't need buying this one. the top range lasts shortly, the rest smells close to the EDT variant. as for me, there's one huge difference between both - the LP version has a milder, a bit darker smell, it's not so upfront as in the case of EDT. just imagine some melody, e.g. the highly-played violin passage. if we take it without any sound processing - that will be the EDT. however, if we take an equalizer and filter out some higher frequencies from a melody, it will sound milder, darker and a bit further. so is Le Parfum as per my nose. there is also a smooth cherry type of a smell on a drydown as for me, even if this note is absent in this cologne. I think, the frag will perfectly fit to a colder weather and some good leather coat or jacket scent.

La nuit in a niche costume.. this is a la nuit that finally transforms in 3 stages and gives you a whoow what just happened feeling! Opens very sweet, spicey and woody.. continues to a fruity spicey woody mix.. becomes bir fresher and huh what .. there it is: a fougere!!! A clean beautiful fougere which reminds me of Nishane B612 and Russian leather van memo Paris. It’s a very refined scent and versatile. Could be a date night fragrance but also a office scent. This is a true masterpiece from YSL and the best one imo in this line. You can wear this any season except high heat.. just keep it under the 15 and you will enjoy it. Although I hate the performance.. If that was fixed this would be my signature out of my 150+ scents.

Okay to give this some context, I sprayed this again after paying very little attention to it for years and in direct comparison with YSL newer fragrances Y & Myself and LNDLM parfum shined with a new kind of clarity and brilliance, like a Diamond, no actually... an uncut piece of semi precious stone among some dog turds. I like how this formulation veers more into the soft warm territory than the edt, making them quite different but clearly related fragrances. Sometimes I don’t think perfumers get credit for when they remake or reimagine fragrances, cleverly mimicking accords and playing around with structure. It’s tempting to say... “ I prefer the original” or not to fully appreciate why certain decisions have been made.

Dark Barbershop (Anne Flipo, Dominique Ropion & Pierre Wargnye, 2010) Scentrack: Serge Gainsbourg - Black Trombone In my opinion a very successful YSL flanker, unfortunately not so popular. It opens up with oriental mix of anise and pepper reminding me of Opium pour Homme, with small dose of soft barbershop lavender. The fullness of fragrant body is fulfilled by sweet fruity ester notes, like candied fruits coated in chocolate. Resins and pale vetiver give another masculine touch, ending with gentle and peaceful vanilla. Not so loud as EdT, more rounded, more mystical and less synthetic. Sexy, but somehow cool. Wear EdT if you're single, and Le Parfum if you have a special lady in your heart. Rating: 7/10

Tried this today in public for the first time, and there are a few takeaways with my experience. 1. I got a compliment immediately upon entering the conference room. 2. The girl who complimented was looking around and asked who was wearing the really nice perfume. Oddly enough, I don’t think she could tell if it was a guy or a girl wearing it, but it’s still such a nice scent. I think both sexes can get away with it but still leans more masculine to my nose. Fruity, aromatic, soapy. Licorice is up front and center, but balanced by patchouli, pepper, and fruity notes. Great projection. Not offensive if you spray too much. Such a well crafted fragrance. Versatile, mass pleasing, unique. Highly recommend.

Got this in the mail and instantly wanted to smell it, obviously and especially since it was a blind buy and I truly never tried this before. Sprayed it a few times on my arm and HATED it. Gave me it a day and went back to it: LOVED it, and that has been my verdict since then. Wore it that same night to a friends party and couldn't stop smelling myself. This is not for the faint of heart though, nothing mass pleasing, just really art work. Anise is a note that generally kills fragrances for me, but this was too good a deal to pass on, especially since I was getting L'Homme Le Parfum with it. It is a more grown fragrance, and on me, about 7h longevity with average projection (on the softer side tbh).

I've not smelled the older versions of this so I can only rate what I know now. Blind buy at £60ish, can't remember exactly. It's a sexy, date night fragrance I've got a 60ml bottle and it's the only fragrance I wear when I know I will be around women most of the day. The projection isn't huge and you will need to spray at least 4 sprays in key projection areas for people to pick it up. It's not something I'd stop another man for and tell them they smell great but it's appealing for females to smell on a man. Definitely more a cool night time or winter fragrance with the pepper and the spice. You could get away with it if it was hot outside buy air conditioned inside too.

Love this stuff. I’ve not enjoyed a first spray as more than this for a long while. Spicy citrus hit with a hint of cola at first ... then once it settles it matures into a lovely warm sweet vanilla esque spice with a slight soapy hint. Massive compliment getter , easy to wear day/night , sexy enough for date night as it has that darker sweet spice especially for Autumn/winter and I’d push to spring too. Lasts around 3/5 hrs on my skin with a decent spraying, not overpowering like everything else seems to be nowadays but that’s good for me as it makes it more intriguing and versatile. It’s a top 5 for my Autumn list so I’d recommend it highly.

I always avoided scents that have anise or fennel because i heard it smells like licorice and i dont like the smell nor taste of it. But i blind bought this not knowing it has anise and its actually pleasant and blends nice with all the other notes. If you ever made this same mistake like i have, dont! This cologne is amazing! Its very seductive. Very man like scent. Warm and mysterious. Perfect for nights and cold weather. Would not recommend for hot summer days. Its pretty pricey but overall its pretty worth it. My signature fragrance for more then 3 years but they have discountinued this and I struggle more and more to find a new bottle, so I am giving up, and will move to sth different. Amazing scent, very deep, mature, dark, I got a whole lot of compliments on this there is just one big problem with this scent - its too weak. Forget about mornign spray and lasitng till end of the day, this parfume last maybe 3 hours and the fades away, maybe not even that. The sillage is also quite intimate. I solve this over the years by having atomizer on me and spray few times a day. So bye La Nuit de L'Homme Le Parfum

At first, I thought it's going to be too synthetic and unpleasant. But it's actually pretty good. It's a sharper, fruitier, peppery, and more mature version of the original. The original is sweeter, smoother, and more well-rounded. It's a bit different to the original, I wouldn't even recognise it as a flanker of LNDLH if I don't know what it is. But it's a pass for me, glad I only bought a decant but I'm also glad to finally tried this. Suitable for winter & fall at night, just like the original. Scent - 8.5/10 Longevity - 9/10 Projection - 8.5/10 Value - 8/10 Overall - 8.5/10

I have a September 2016 batch number, which is quite good in terms of longevity and silage, I get solid 5 hours of longevity and arms length silage. Because of all that drama lately about the reformulation of it, I tried it at my local Sephora and I have to agree that it is so much weaker, it was gone after just 1 hour and the perfume seems quite different. It is really close to the original now, not a completely different scent as it used to be, no Gucci Envy vibes, no rich perfume, it was like I reached for the wrong tester bottle. What a shame.

Maybe i'm overhyping it because i have a special relationship with it, but regardless it's my best and most unique fragrance i have in my collection at the moment. It's a very intimiate, spicy and seducing smell, best suited for date nights and special occasions. Longievity is slightly above average, and it sits close to the skin but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Overall, a great pick for the colder seasons, and it's a bit different from the usual winter fragrances. 8.6/10

For me its the best LNDH flanker , its even better than the original LNDH , its my daily perfume in winter for the last two years and its the most compliment getter in all my perfumes list, some people knew i was nearby just because they smelled it . For people who are not perfume experts buy this one and it will not let you down. Edit: new batches smell different and the performance is significantly lower. idk what yall talking about the lasting. I did maybe like 4 or 5 sprays in the morning and smelled that bitch for a whole day. had a lot compliments so there’s nothing to complain about at the moment. Still waiting for the performance in a hot weather but i think it will last without any problem. Therefore it’s maybe more of a spring or night fragrance. It’s more seductive then a daily fragrance but you’ll do non wrong wearing it daily. 10/10

I dont have La Nuit De l'Homme and got this scent arround the time it got released in 2010. At first, i was not impressed and had issues with the performance. So I went to other scents and forgot about it. It basicly sat in my collection for years until i got back into fragrances heavily in 2019. So i tried it again. Don't get me wrong, the scent is really nice, but for me it stays a bit too close to the skin and doesn't project too much.

A sweet and spicy fragrance. Opening is fairly peppery with a sweet touch before transitioning to fruity notes. Lasts a fair few hours, tested in cold conditions. Performance-wise, is above mediocre, and does seem more suited for evenings/nights and more intimate interactions. Skin scent latches on like shower gel and can be fairly unpleasant after a while so apply carefully. Scent 7/10 Sillage 5/10 Longevity 7/10 Value 7.5/10

Personally, if you were to buy YSL La nuit de l'homme Le Parfum, it would most likely be for date nights or special occasions. The longevity of the cologne is low, and mostly becomes a skin scent. It is a good scent, smells nice fruity and spicy with the opening of bergamot and the fruity middle note. Overall, a great scent however the price is great and the smell is great for winter and cold weather primarily.

Much much better than the original overrated toilet version. This one has a very unique beautiful scent. Three ladies chose it above Herod,eros,lanuit edt, Dior homme intense, D&G the one, ck reveal. The scent tries to take u somewhere special on a holiday for vacation. It is a perfume that can't offend anyone and has a cool guy vibe that everyone wants to be friend with. Longevity and sillage is OK.

My favorite fragrance of all time that needs no introduction, the sexiest fragrance of all time, i maybe biased but who cares, such a signature scent worthy fragrance i love it, everything about it is perfect, all rounder fragrance, gets all sorts of compliments, the super masculine fragrance of all time, i adore this fragrance. 10/10 i would buy it everytime.

It’s a richer, darker, deeper sweeter version of the original. If you like the original then I don’t see why you shouldn’t like this too. Wife smelled me after wearing it after 6hours and her reaction was that i smelled sweet. Personally I think it’s pepery, masculine and for anyone over the age of 40. Like it but it’s not on par with the trends.

I’m so happy I discovered this hidden gem after so many years! I Overlooked this beautiful piece because I thought it would smell like the original EDT. I can’t stand the cardamom from the EDT. This one is addictive. I can’t stop smelling my wrists and clothes. Tip: spray it on your clothes and neck and you’ll be complimented non stop.

Has a similar "cardamon" scent profile to the original despite not having it listed in the notes. Unlike the original, Le Parfum trades some sweetness for fresh spice; furthermore, this fresh spice makes it an easier wear. Le Parfum is undoubtedly better in terms of projection and silage. It's essentially a good twist on LNDLH.

A relative new guy to fragrance world who is mainly experimenting with various decants. Of 20 odd perfumes that I used in last half year I can’t recollect anything other than this YSL that made me go Wow. This is very expensive here in India but I wouldn’t mind saving up to buy a full bottle in future. This is amazing .

This is a heavenly scent. However, the performance is terrible. The perfume is gone after 30 minutes making it pointless to use. I'm keeping the last ~20ml left in my bottle just to be able to smell it out of it. Great stuff but not worth buying if you expect it to last.

This deserves more glaze than Y or Myself. Subtle spicy and sweet perfection. Great for clubbing. It only lacks protection and longevity. I hope an Arabian company dupes this and pumps those numbers through the roof. Would probably be one of the best clubbing scents ever

This is the only perfume that made me stop someone in the middle of the streets (in Lisbon) and ask "you smell great, what are you wearing?" At the time I had already sold my La nuit de l'homme EDT and l'homme EDT as they were not for me, but this one I had to have.

I sampled this for the first time yesterday and I fell in love with it! I had smelled the EDT version before and I liked it, but the EDP, oh my god.. It's delicious! And it stays on for sooo long! And the best part is, I don't know anyone who wears this perfume.

Fantastic for a night out, or even during cold winter days for a more formal style. Both sillage and longetivity are on the higher end, although the base notes react weirdly with my skin (the vetyver might be overpowering) it is still nice.

Love this stuff. It’s been out of stock in ysl site for some time (and prior showed only the 60ml size when so). Called ysl and the rep said it appears to be discontinued. They didn’t seem 100% but I still bought some backups in case.

How to describe this fragance? Ok... Take the original La nuit de L’homme and mixed with Opium! You get the LNDL vibe whit that sweet/sour Opium / Allure Homme taste that characterizes the late 90’s scents! I really love this one!!

Pretty unique scent, very different from the other flankers in the same "La Nuit de L'homme" series. Has a recognizable anise and pepper. Sadly I don't think it projects a lot. Best for autumn or winter nights.
