L'Homme Parfum Intense

I really like this stuff, but I do wish it was just a longer lasting version of the L'Homme EDT. L'Homme EDT is one of my favorite scents ever, I love the entire L'Homme line. So just saying that up front for those interested in trying/buying this, this is QUITE different than the EDT, especially in the opening! It actually kind of gives me a syrupy sweet grape juice vibe, as strange as that sounds... It's much richer, sweeter, and more warm than the EDT. Where the EDT was soft and floral, I still got some fresh, almost aquatic elements from it, it wasn't very dry (if you want dry and long lasting, go L'Homme Ultime, trust me!) L'Homme Parfum Intense (which is pictured and described on this page) is now branded as L'Homme L'Intense EDP. It's very, very sweet and warm in the opening, very rich and deep. It's not a "dark" warm/oriental scent, but more soft, bright, and floral. It's absolutely a mature scent, not old man, but I'm 30 and I would NOT want to wear this if I were 18-25, it's just too sweet and soft. The leather note is my least favorite part about it, but it does add to the maturity and kind of "rich and luxurious" vibe. The opening you can really smell the orange blossom and it's beautiful, though might be a bit too sweet for some. The dry down is where this shines, and really begins to show it's similarities with the L'Homme EDT. The drydown of this fragrance line is hands down my favorite of all time: it's rich, resinous, woody, deep, with a touch of masculine floral notes. Just absolutely beautiful. I'd definitely say this is a cold weather, fall and winter scent, though it can definitely be pulled off on cooler spring/summer days, depending on the occasion. While I am not the biggest fan of the leather note, as it makes this a much more specific and less versatile scent than the EDT, I really do love this fragrance. Projection is soft, longevity is MUCH better than the EDT but this is not a beast mode fragrance, still very subtle. For romantic nights especially, or for nights out where you want to have confidence, but not overpower everyone in the room with your scent clouds haha. Final warning: this can definitely be perceived as unisex, due to the soft, sweet nature of it. I'd say it's an acquired taste, and definitely wouldn't recommend for men below 30.

Easily one of the best fragrances ever made. And, the best part is A. it's discontinued, so no reformulations and watering down to worry about B. most people will never get their hands on it, so your experience wearing it will be ultra luxury as well as unique C. it smells divine and absolutely nothing being made and sold today even comes close!!! D. you have a Ropion and Filipo mastered fragance (!!!) that pushes nearly every sensory receptor ever so subtly such that this is truly high art in a bottle THAT YOU CAN WEAR!!! If they were to get Ropion and Filipo to do anything close to this again in 2026, YSL would definitely assign that fragance to its Les Exclusifs collection ala Tuxedo and Babycat, and the retail price (if you could find it) would be north of $375.00. If an overpriced pseudo-niche brand like PdM were to put something like this out today, they'd make it a 2 year Harrod's exclusive and charge $£799.99 per bottle. Because, honestly, where else are you getting violet blended champagne like citrus on an opening that then smoothly transitions into a sophisticated ambergris with mandarin infused edges that exquisitely dries down into warm cedar and amber rich leather? You are cocooned in a couch of fragance that's so deep and buttery soft that you feel like it's 1968 and Sophia Loren just gave you the biggest bear hug whilst pushing your head down gently into her bosom. I had a slim and quite forward French gallery owner lock me in her office with her a few years ago. She kept showing me picture after picture of art pieces she thought I should purchase, all while telling me over and over again how "really good" I smelled. I was wearing this fragrance that day. It was a very uncomfortable afternoon, but such is the power of this little silver capped bottle of high art. 👑🍒

YSL L’Homme Parfum Intense (also distributed as L’Homme L’Intense) is an absolute stunner. The orange blossom is the star of the opening. It is cozily enveloping with a touch of pepper rounding out the masculine citrus accord, but also freshly ozonic thanks to the violet leaf. As it dries down, it turns into a decadently animalic amber scent. It’s neither a wallflower nor a screamer, but indeed the scent of a modern gentleman. It’s not an outstanding performer, but it’s appropriate to its scent profile, which telegraphs cozy elegance but is equally suggestive of sexual competence, with a solid aura that lasts for a couple hours before it starts to sit close to the skin. If I had a signature scent (which I don’t, really, since I’m more promiscuous with my fragrances than that), this would be it. That said, it *is* an absolutely magical articulation of some of my favourite tendencies in masculine fragrances — an unapologetically feminine-leaning, warm, gently sweet and spicy masculine potion. *Sadly discontinued, this legend lives on in more feminine compositions such as YSL Libre and Zara’s Golden Decade that, nevertheless, lack the spicy masculine tint, as well as cheaper and less elegantly blended dupes such as Diesel Fuel for Life Spirit and Zara Pour Homme III. And as if YSL discontinuing this gem wasn’t infuriating enough, they have now released something called L’Homme Eau de Parfum which, while looking almost identical to L’Homme Parfum Intense, features a different set of notes (bitter orange, cognac). An identity crisis, to be sure.

After the original L'Homme - not grounbreaking but overall a decent office scent - , after its useless flankers (L'Eau d'Ete, Cologne Gingembre, Tonic) and the not-so-memorable L'Homme Libre, YSL finally brings back some (limited) interest to its L'Homme line with L'Homme Intense. Over all the L'Homme line (including the original version), I think it is the only really attention-worthy (possibly with Ultime). That said, as others have stated before, performance is lower than average. Now, considering the whole L'Homme and La Nuit de l'Homme lines, I think that YSL should have better merged the 2 lines and limit the issues to just 2 juices (possibly a 3rd frssh for the summer, but not even IMO): 1/ the office scent: a mix of this one and the original as a unique original L'Homme, and 2/ the date scent: the original La Nuit de L'Homme. 3/ period. Would have been simplier, left those two in the history and would have avoided a series of diluting commercial failure that are now now making these 2 lines parodies of themselves. Just my 2 cents. Overall, just a like for me. When it will fall under $40, it will be worth considering, but as of now, in Europe, one can get Dior Homme Parfum for the current US price of L'Homme Intense. Got it? Picked up a sample on a whim and tried it twice so far. A lovely sweet orange candied scent is the main note I get along with a touch of woods and soft suede. There's probably an "amber" like note in here somewhere as well but it's not actual amber, just that typical dry sweet most fragrances use because it's easy to recreate. In the dry down there's a slightly clean pepper that comes forward. The initial phase to me is similar to a fresh bag of gummy candy. I rather enjoy that as I haven't eaten candy in some 20+ years since I was a teen having all night horror movie marathons with friends. So that's a nice nostalgia trip and I love that scents are capable of doing that. Overall I'd say YSL L'Homme Parfum Intense is a good fragrance but there's nothing intense about it, it's mild and as I said very much like candy. So it's not masculine or strong in any manner. It is however enjoyable and if you like sweet scents you'll probably love this one. It's a more refined and mature sweet, it's not teenager or Paco Rabanne bubblegummy/sugary sweet. It has short longevity and barely any projection after 30 minutes or so. After that it's a mild skin scent. I don't think you should have to bathe in a costly fragrance to actually have it last so there's that downside to this. Designers should realize after paying a higher tag one or two sprays should get the job done, especially when cheap $10 ones like Ciara and Emeraude are immortal with one spray.

I prefer this one to the original l'homme. The original has a sharp edge (at least on my skin) that is on the verge to headache inducing for me. This one is smoother and works a lot better on me. It is a sweet perfume for sure. It opens with a fresh, and sweet combination of orange blossoms and fruitiness, with a slight spiciness somewhere in the background. In the transition from top to heartnotes there is a slight dissonance for my nose, and this is the only part of the fragrance that I don't love, the good thing is that it only last for 15-30 minutes, and is only really evident if you smell it close, the whiffs that come at you are still the fresh opening notes. After the weirdness that happens in the transition the fragrance goes a bit warmer, some woods and mild spices emerge, and the sweetness subsides a little and is more of an ambery sweetness. The drydown is a nice warm sweet, ambery, slightly woody, and spicy smell. That for me is not boring in any way, I just love to sniff it again and again throughout the day as it is a complex concoction. Sillage is medium on me, just where I want it :) Longevity, it projects for about 4-5 hours, and lasts for about 10h as a close encounters scent. My go to when I want a sweet fragrance!

Maybe around 2018, i went into a douglas with my mom to find out what the hell im gonna wear after Dior Sauvage became so popular over the time, or maybe was even before i purchased it, that if you weren't using it as a 16-20 year old male, you were instantly more individual, and cooler, in my eyes at least. The bottle,Especially the cap of it were designed in an eye catching way with the color of the liquid in it. Plus pronouncing Yves Saint Laurent also felt like something i would really want to say, when the others ask: -what smells so good on you? -on me?, nothing, just ySL. :) This is smoky and sweet at the same time and powder and maybe leather. Really reminds me of Dior Homme l'intense, and dont get me wrong, not because of the notes, but in a way they belong to the same group. They would be the two nicely dressed and successful late 20s/early 30s men, sitting in a bar together, drinking something deeply dark, and definitely not a lager beer, or a white wine, maybe two cigars or a pack of Marlboro next to their hands, when its cold and windy inside, but the temperature is warm and the air is heave inside, these are those scents, never enough of them.

EDIT # 3 on this fragrance, simply crazy! Wouldn't you know this WAS my least liked fragrance in my collection and its the one that gets most compliments when i wear it - go figure! It is now my signature scent! i loved it at first but fell out of love quickly and now love it again, though i had to add the fact that it gets a compliment every time i wore it, crazy! Strong, almost whoa what's going on blast of orange blossom sharp and intense opening, but once the dust settles a very sweet, albeit not cloyingly delicious fragrance emerges. I get a slight apple pie-ish accord, with a tad of play-doh in the background. You definitely get a slight musky vibe in the dry down, but definitely a very grown-up, not candy sweet fragrance. overall I give this a strong 9/10. I have heard people bashing this fragrance from Youtube to even comments on here. People put la nuit above this and I'm glad they do - that way they can smell like every other guy does with all the hype around that, while i enjoy my delicious parfum intense all by myself! I better hoarde this before the reformulations strike, as they usually do.

I think a lot of the reviews for this are people that are mistaken Parfum Intense with Eau de Parfum. Parfum Intense is very different from the EDT and EDP, it's very sweet, floral, and complex, the performance is good and it retains none of the original DNA (to my nose at least). It is more unisex than other entries in the l'Homme/LNDH series and is a much more mature composition. I have perceived minimal difference between the Parfum Intense and L'Intense labeled versions, I own both. The Parfum Intense version has similar longevity, although it may be slightly more animalic in the opening, real ambergris is certainly present, but seems to be in a bit higher concentration in the older bottles. I have left more in-depth review down below. The one additional comment I would like to add is that you can get a VERY similar experience from Zara Night Pour Homme III. It basically takes this DNA but with a bit of Dior Homme Intense Iris opening. The quality is pretty close, it's one of Zara's best and it only costs like $20-25. That frag is MUCH closer to Parfum Intense than l'Homme EDP is.

Beautiful dark citrus and thick violet opening, sweet and dense, opens into a very animalic sweet smokey Leather with suede and ambergris. Very mature smelling, seductive, great longevity, can smell it on clothes the next day. Projection is solid in the first few hours. Definitely best suited to fall and winter nights, I can see this being used on cooler early Spring and very late Summer nights. Fantastic quality, sadly discontinued. I recently scored a bottle on Fragrancenet for around original retail price (very strange as it's been discontinued for some time now, from what I can understand). I have no idea what this guy below me is talking about, I have a bottle with Parfum Intense printed on it and a bottle with l'Intense printed on it and they are both identical. I will also note that this is very different than l'Homme EDP, even though many reviewers are comparing them. l'Homme EDP is like a dark version of the OG EDT, Parfum Intense is a completely different beast and is closer to a LNDL flanker than a l'Homme flanker. 8.5/10

I have used it daily several years ago then moved on, to me it was always clean slightly bright sweet soapy gentlemanly scent, a bit more darker version compared to the original but not a dark fragrance at all, still a bright clean one. Today, I checked this page, and shocked: animalic? leather? balsamic? I don't remember that was the case, I was not a fragrance geek back then but I still had my nose, also used and tried lots of fragrances. I knew what smells like leather, animalic, or balsamic. I had to check it again, there was 5 to 10 ml left on my last bottle. Sprayed it, and it's exactly as I remember, sweet amber, orange blossom, candied orange/bergamot, soapy clean feel. I don't get anything animalic, or balsamic here. Leather, maybe, just very faint sweet suede feel but all that amber, candied orange, and white floral cleanliness is the main character. I realized I missed it, I wish there was a somehow stronger version of this scent available on the market, it's truly amazing.

This smells very lovely. Overall, but it still doesn't last. So carry a travel atomizer to fix the issue. Short but sweet... I used six sprays...both wrist, back & front of my neck, chest, and front of my shirt. Will I buy this again?...Yes(If I can find it). What's the strength of this? EDP. I haven't been posting here in Fragrantica for the past 3 years but this bottle made me share my thoughts. I just got an unboxed bottle of this one and oh boy it smells SO GOOD! With the plethora of boring blue fragrances in fragcomm this one stands out the most in my opinion! It smells luxurious it can make you sniff yourself the whole day. Its sweet, boozy, warm and intoxicating in a good way (YSL EDP gave me a headache this one doesn't) Great for ages 20 and up, casual and formal situations, It can be worn the whole year but control your spray during summer. Too bad according to your comments this has been discontinued. Glad I got a bottle and I will enjoy this until the last spray. If you see this floating around in a decent price well don't think twice and snag that bottle baby. Highly recommended with flying colors. 10/10! Better than my YSL EDP, BDC's and Sauvages! Well they're not in the same ballpark but this one is such a STUNNER.

I was about to order a bottle of YSL Libre edp despite the fact that I'm a man, cause it's that good! Now I've received a sample of L'Homme Intense with a recent purchase and its resemblance with Libre really striked me. I need to do a more in depth comparison, but if this is a half as long lasting as Libre (which is a beast) I might wanna buy l'Homme instead. Edit: Ok, I did my homework and, while these two have a lot in common, L'Homme Intense is decidedly more masculine, specier and trades some of the orange blossom (which is much more prominent in Libre) with amber gris. Poor me, I kinda want them boh now... Epiloge: 02/03/2022 I finally got it and I'm so glad to have it in my collection. I really hope this fragrance gets all the admiration and support it deserves so that it doesn't get discontinued. About Libre: I got a mini of the edp (the best version for me) to sniff every now and then.

Surprisingly nice. Opens with a candied orange and some underlying spicyness that sometimes comes across as peppery and other times like cinnamon. It is quite sweet and juicy in the opening but this fades after 60-90 mins. A soft leather emerges and blends nicely with the amber and orange blossom creating a warm inviting/cozy scent. Garners a lot of compliments from all genders. This is definitely a cooler weather fragrance though. I've tried it in 80 degree weather and it becomes oppressive. Too syrupy sweet and the violet leaf has fahrenhiet vibes with a gasoline/diesel like note. Projection is ok for the first hour or so then it dies down to a small 1ft scent bubble for 4 hours. I typically use 3-4 sprays to the chest/undershirt and 1-2 to the neck. Can still catch whiffs of it 8 hours later.

Fantastic!!! One of my favorites in my collection. A three season delicious DNA. Opens with a warm jammy orange blossom. It’s almost boozy in a way. Sweet without being too sweet. I love the opening and it retains this vibe as it dries down. Woods come into play as does this heavenly smooth combo of benzoin and suede add depth/complexity. Overall, the notes are extremely well blended. On me, I get a full work day. Two sprays in four locations and I’m good for 8 hours. Easily fall and winter...spring with a few less sprays. Masculine...but a sultry seductress of a woman could pull this off. Overall, an easy recommend for me. As close as it comes for a blind buy for me. Saying that, sample before you buy😉.

So far, Parfum Intense is my favorite L'homme flanker with the exception of La Nuit de L'Homme. I don't pick up any woods with this like I do with LNDL. I get a cotton candy / liqueur type sweetness and a lot of amber. Performance is typical of modern YSL frags... Moderate. Not incredibly feminine but it isn't Fahrenheit masculine either. Other than the amber, it isn't intense and a "parfum" it is not. However, it is a gorgeous scent. Would make a more mature alternative for Eros, 1 Million and Invictus. Could also make a more youthful date night alternative to D&G The One. But Parfum Intense would work for any age really. Winter/ Cool weather/ date night. Spring maybe/ Summer no. Would buy again.

To my nose this smells sweet but tangy as well. Not candy or honey sweet. I thought it was orange/clementine type of sweet but apparently there is no such notes. And I thought it had ginger, and again there is no ginger. I like ginger. Not sure if I can actually identify any smell. All I know if this smells good, stimulating my saliva like I'm eating a fresh sweet-semi-sour orange. Usually apply 2-3 sprays before bed, lasts the whole night. On clothing it last even longer but I have to sniff it closely. I'm just worried this might smell too much in warmer weather. But 100 ml for $54 bucks was a deal I couldn't pass from Macy's Cyber Monday.

Was extremely happy with this purchase. As others have mentioned, it opens up as a semi-sweet floral/citrusy scent that becomes more sweet and amber-y as time goes on. My only complaint is that it seems to fade away too quickly. The incredible initial opening only sticks around for maybe 30min. After that, the amber sweetness sits very close to the skin for another probably 4hrs until it fades to nothing. Wish the opening stayed for much longer a sit's my favorite piece of it. Longevity and sillage just aren't there with this one but man the scent is so good. I give it an 8/10 (would be a solid 9 if the longevity & sillage were better).

Just got a 60 ml bottle of this and I am lost for words. This has to be THE BEST scent I have ever smelt. It is such a warm and comforting scent that has brilliant longevity and projection. I sprayed the original on to a test strip and although it smelt nice, it started to fade pretty rapidly, I then sprayed this and I must say it smells completely different to the original, it is a much better smelling scent and it has the staying power and the projection to go with it. I am tempted to go and buy another bigger bottle before ysl reformulate it and ruin it like they do with all their other fragrances. Class in a glass 10/10 A+++++

A wonderful addition to the l'homme line. To me, this has a sweet top note backed up with wood, amber, and a little leather which really creates a nice balance. When smelling this I can see some relation to fragrances like 1 minion and ultra male, but would definitely say this is the refined and mature version of those two (and much better in my opinion). Almost like the sexy older brother. My girlfriend (and other women) love this scent on me, especially at night/evening. The only issue is longevity. I get about 2-3 hours max and then it becomes a skin scent. To solve this I simply carry a travel atomizer. Worth picking up!

To me I smell lots of Amber to start with. Kinda similar to Rasasi Hawas as far as the Amber goes. After the drydown it goes away and the Iris kicks in and it gets softer. Similar to my Prada l'homme intense. On my skin it lasts longer than La Nuit does. Totally different profile as well. I like it a lot and think it is mass appealing. Nothing ground breaking but will garner many compliments. Just remember it doesn't have the greatest performance so keeps some close by for a respray after a few hours. If you own anything by John Varvatos then you already know this drill.

Yves Saint Laurent L'Homme Parfum Intense is done for a man who has natural Charisma, Sensuality and Magnetism. A natural sensuality which reflects a mysterious and bright inner richness. The fragrance represents the power of attraction of a man with a unique style. He is both charismatic, seductive, audacious and full of contrasts. Rating: 10/10

Very pleasant scent. Sweet woody and warm scent. Projection is moderate and last for 6-7h on skin. Therefore this can be used in office also. My coworkers didn't mind it even it's a bit sweet. Somehow this reminds me of Armani Stronger With You Intensely in a dry down, but YSL is a bit less sweet, more wood and and there's no toffee in this. Maybe because of benzoin 🤔 All in all, I love this scent! Suits me and my character very well. I'll give it a solid 8.5/10! Mine is labeled as "l'Homme l'Intense", 2018 batch.

Love love love for this cutie. Kind of a shy performer - wears close and doesn't wear long - but it gets the job done. Besides I don't want too much fruitiness floating around me, I just want enough for me and maybe one other (See what I did there... *ahem* sorry classroom humor...) The reason I say fruitiness is because on my skin this one smells closest to cherry flavored chewing gum or even a cherry flavored soft drink like Dr. Pepper. Wore this in college... It was a lot of fun... 'Nuff said... 8.5/10

My husband wears this now. Tried a lot of the YSL fragrances but we both love love love this one. It smells sooo good to me. Hunky, smooth, and there is something in it that makes me want to stay close to him all day or night. Husband material. A big time keeper. Not sure what notes I can pick out - sorry, I just can't identify what is so good about it - but the dry down is amaaaazing. Actually, from start to finish I like it. But I know how it gets on his skin after a while so I look forward to that!

This is a really good fragrance. Some reviewers think it’s for teeny boppers. Wrong. It has an alluring scent that is not only appealing but is uplifting. Women enjoy it as well. I am a lover of the original L’homme, this is a more modern take on that fragrance less the ginger note. Just purchased a 3.3 oz bottle from Macy’s for 54 bucks. Surely worth it. If this is too sweet in the opening you can always pass on it but by today’s standards the opening is rather inoffensive and delicious.

One could ask oneself if this really is a flanker of the original "L'Homme"? Regardless them being so different I just LOVE this fragrance. It's so alluring and sexy. This is one heavenly fragrance. Perfect for the autumn season. It’s a well balanced contrast between fruity sweet and fresh and clean w some smooth woods mixed in. The good thing is that as sweet and ambery it is up top the scent seems to smooth down very well in the dry down coming across as more woody and masculine while maintaining a playful and bright aura. It’s absolutely perfect for a signature scent and is one that I’m very happy to have in my collection.

This is an amazing scent. It’s la nuit del homme just sweeter. The notes are really good with slight woods and sweetness. Definitely a night out type of fragrance. This line of ysl is my favorite. This smells like a male fragrance but I can see the sweetness throwing it off and smelling a bit feminine. Sadly not much silage it’s lost like in the first 30 mins. But it really stays with you on the skin and clothes mainly on clothes you can smell it the next day.

This smells like a much more refined 1 million. The combination of orange blossom and citruses creates a grapefruit note up top. You've also got an ambery sweetness (not at all cloying) and a soft suede note underneath. This smells warm and fresh at the same time and I could see this working year round. I would also say this is unisex, maybe leaning a tad masculine with the suede towards the top but softens in the drydown. Anyone could wear this. 8/10 -

The first "signature" fragrance I have ever had in my rotation. I wore this 24/7 and 365 and this amber sweet fragrance was my first venture into the more expensive fragrances. I think over time I have found things that were so much similar and cheaper that I may not get a full bottle anytime soon. the price has gone up and It didn't smell as good the last bottle I got last year so I don't know if they changed something and that's a shame.

This fragrance is being in my wardrobe for over a year. At the beginning it didn't make me feel nothing, I sprayed on a summer day and it was difficult to get any smell from it at all, I thought I was nose blind but, Today we got some morning snow and I had to walk my puppy to my daughter's house, I rich for this and decided to give it a chance... 4 sprays on my nek and 2 on my arms... It started to shine immediately ✨️ 😍

Honestly this is my favorite cologne, but females at work don't agree. They don't know what it is until I tell them, and even then the Designer name isn't enough to get them to like it as much as I do. Performance is butt, however, its cheap enough to reapply and restock for the same price as one bottle of dior or chanel. This my fav, haters gonna hate. Hey guys if you have read some reviews you know by now it doesn’t last. Yes it’s a shame. I really like this juice, some girls go crazy for it. Either you have to keep the bottle on you and reapply every 2-3 hours (probably what YSL wants you to do) or choose something that will last longer. I’m eager to try the diesel which has a similar smell and see how it goes. But all in all it’s a 6 because of longevity.

I love this fragrance. It is sweet and not very strong, almost feminine, in fact a lot of people consider it unisex (and when I had it my sister used it too). It has, however, some defects: it's not very long-lasting (at least on my skin), and the sillage is below average. Definitely a winter fragrance, I would recommend it to who likes soft but great-smelling, even if not very long lasting, fragrances.

If you make a GODLY smelling, divine, warm delicious scent, make it a REAL PARFUM OR, make it CLEAR so we can douse ourselves in your watered down PISS BATCH. I have the OG batch. Parfum intense, not this l'intense BS, it's STILL a weak performance. Imagine that, even from the nuclear 2015 era, the INTENSE parfum (while scent profile is a 10/10) is nothing more then protein-less fart from an angel.

I have L’Intense and just got it. It is not at all syrup sweet. And the dry down is leaning towards Suvauge, it is called L’homme I’ntense edp so I’m confused but in a good way because I love this fragrance. Starts off Spicy and the dry down is ambroxan, well for me this is a real winner. As for what I have I’m glad I have it. This is a real winner and a mystery at the same time....love it!

As many others have said, this is a great scent that takes a sweet, syrupy core and lightens it up with aromatic and spicy touches. In the early stages I get a lot of lemon and violet, but this goes away pretty quickly to leave you with sweet leather, ambroxan, and woods. Performance is average; it sits close to the skin for 5-6 hours. Day or night in cooler weather

I adore this scent! Picked this up as well as bleu electrique and this is by far in my opinion better. Of course they are two different fragrances but this just takes the la nuit line in a completely different direction, I actually got this as a gift from my uncle's old fragrance collection, sad to see its been discontinued but glad I have a 95% full 100ml :D ⁝

For me, this is all about the sweet, ambery, woodsy dry down. It opens very fresh, a little spicy, with sweet undertones and later develops into a comforting, sexy, and delicious smelling woody fragrance. In addition, it's long lasting, has good projection - a little truly goes a long way. I think this is soo likable and a compliment getter for sure!

This is one of my favorite fragrances to wear and one I reach for out of my 100’s of bottles. It’s a soapy ambery orange blossom is the best way so can describe it. My wife who is a tough critic adores this one and I can’t blame her. It smells of quality and very enjoyable to anyone around you especially yourself. Might have to get a backup bottle

A little too sweet in the beginning. But over time it calms down, it's pleasant and unique. Would say it's definitely for a man over 40. Very cozy scent, vintage feel, want to wrap myself in it an fall asleep. Gorgeous. It's strong and lasts already for 9 hours. Maybe I tested an old edition. Don't understand these reviews...

I gotta say, having a mint, 6.7 bottle of YSL lhomme parfum intense (OG BATCH) is making me feel shakey. I bought it for 130$ now selling for 700$ 🤑 NOT A CHANCE, stuffs liquid gold, and all mines! It's a must have, it takes powder and leather to a sexy floral, spicy level so perfectly.. the mid layer is DELECTABLE!

Smelling this off the actual atomizer or directly off the skin you get the amber and orange blossom but let me tell you, in the air, this smells f**king amazing. In the air I really get the leather/suede and pepperish vibe with the light dose of sweetness. This is by far my favorite in the l'homme line.

@assim.hayderi Zara's Gold for him was released in 2015. L'homme Parfum Intense was released in 2013. Don't accuse this scent of being a Zara knockoff. At least know what you're talking about before making such accusations. Just lol at everyone jumping on the Zara hype as of late.

@Jmiles- Parfum Intense and L’Intense are the same. I believe it was named Parfum Intense first, then changed to L’Intense later on. And now discontinued. To make it even more confusing, Eau de Parfum has sort of replaced it. It’s not identical but very similar in looks and smell.

This is a smooth, creamy type of vibe. For me it's a good one to reach for in the fall, some winter nights. Warm and rich. Not for the hot days. It's not like the original L'Homme, it's much stronger and lasts longer, and comes with a whole different drive on the senses.

One of my absolute favorites in my collection. I wear it daily and my bottle is getting low...which is sad as it has been discontinued. Zara makes a decent clone of this called Zara Classic 6.0 but its, still nothing like the real thing. This fragrance is legendary.

Ted Lapidus Altamir is in this territory, I really wanted to like Altamir but at the same time I was kinda put off by it (too much Tonka). This is more refined and the ambergris certainly makes it more versatile and wearable for me! If you can still find it grab it!
