Libre L'Absolu Platine

YSL Libre L'Absolu Platine: 🗣Out of ALL the Libre series of Perfumes, this one deffo stands firmly on it's own two feet!! Personally, YSL could have launched this perfume as a stand alone/completely brand new fragrance/fragrance name etc, as it DOES'NT have any of the Original DNA of any of the other's in the Libre line up of fragrances!! Also outta all the other's, this one deffo comes across as being perfectly "UNISEX"!! and would smell equally good on any guy/man, as it does on any girl/woman!! This one has a certain inbuilt freshness/soapyness, with slight overtones of being aromatic!! I actually find it to be a very cool, uplifting fragrance, and I hate using the term, calling it "laundry Detergent Freshness"!! (Like Crisp Freshly Dried Linen) but that is really exactly how this fragrance does smell on my skin when I have it on me!! and on my husband's skin, it really does smell absolutely fantastic!! So much so, that I told him to use it more often, when he's dressed up, and we're heading out together!! It kinda has a gentle hint of "Chanel Allure Sport" coolness over tones, to it, which deffo isn't a bad thing at all, hence why I said it could/should be marketed as "Libre L'Absolu Platine Unisex"!! This one would also be perfect to take away on holiday with you, as I think it would smell amazing equally in the heat of the day, as it would the warmth of the night!! again because it has that inbuilt coolness like ice and freshness to it!! So if like myself, you already have/love Libre Etd, Edp Intense, Le Perfum etc, and fancy something that's far more fresher and aromatic/could be worn, enjoyed by your other half a guy!! Then this one could deffo hit the spot!! Again the bottle is absolutely stunning, with it's pure silver coating inside the famous YSL Libre glass bottle!! And being an edp, your talking at least a good 12+ hours performance on your skin!! Yet again this fragrance ooooozes pure genuine class!! YSL deffo have done it yet again with this one!! love"Love"LOVE IT!! 😍🥰💕💗💗💗

This is absolutely my favorite scent ever! It's lavender heavy and fresh, floral, medicinal almost and sooooo clean smelling. Lavender can be rather polarizing with a lot of people. You either hate it or you love it and I absolutely love it! It's beautifully done and the star of this flanker! It so lavender heavy, it's like being in a field of lavender itself. I don't really smell much of any of the other notes as the lavender really overpowers everything else, but if you don't mind that and only care about the lavender, absolutely get this. It's so clean and sexy and definitely a scent only a confident person can pull off. Its NOT shy and commands attention, and I love that. Heads will turn! I can also imagine a man wearing this as lavender can be very masculine sometimes. This perfume has a bit of a unisex feel to it. This lavender isn't like the dusty powdery smelling fancy lavender soap your grandma leaves out in her bathroom. It's a lot more refined but sharp, a tinge metallic. There is a soapy quality to it, but it only adds to the fresh and herbal tone the lavender already has and not sweet at all. The silver bottle really encapsulates how this perfume feels in the first sniff and also just simply beautiful on display. YSL really outdid themselves when they made this flanker and it's signature scent worthy like all the libres. Super easy to get noseblind to, but you will smell it when you leave and re-enter the room. Just a little spray goes a long way. I sprayed this on my shirt and took a trip to the store. When I got back in my car, all I could smell was this perfume. I really can't stop smelling it!

after testing this on skin on 2 occasions in store, i was unexpectedly encapsulated by it. i just got a 50ml bottle for my birthday. im fairly sure this is my first ever scent from ysl... i rarely buy any mainstream fragrance, unless it’s vintage. i think what initially drew me to this one was the bottle- although it was released a couple of years ago, i only recently noticed it sitting amongst the other Libre scents. i thought maybe it was new, so i tried it out. well it is safe to say that i am currently addicted to this fragrance. i am not a fan of lavender as a note, so seeing two forms of lavender in this left me a bit perplexed. i didn’t check out the note pyramid until after i bought the bottle. i do not smell even a hint of lavender, or citrus, or aldehydes. to my nose, this fragrance is primarily a deeply rich, almost silky vanilla & amber. but not just vanilla and amber.. that would be a huge understatement.. it’s like i can’t really pinpoint any specific notes. it just smells absolutely DIVINE. so moreish and on the verge of being seductive. i think it could work both as a daily scent and a scent that is kept for special occasions. it’s notably very elegant and smells straight up expensive. the longevity is incredible, as is the projection— a few sprays of it on skin & clothes will last from one morning to the following morning. the performance is on par with tom ford’s private blend line. sooo.. i think the performance of this perfume alone justifies the price point and makes it worth every penny. i know for sure that it will last me a longgg while because a little goes a long way with it.

I know this one gets alot of hate in comparison to tge other flankers, but to me this was the best one! On my skin the others smelled soooo dated didn't smell good at all on me or they were so cloying that even in winter one spray was death! I didn't understand it because my friend wears them and they on her smell beautiful... Then I tried this in the store...all the sales ladies said this smelled masculine..on tester I could understand the bergamot pulling cologne smell vibes but when I sprayed this on my wrist that all went away! Even after a few moments the workers started changing their minds on the scent because on me this is a airy sunny happy clean girl not too much sweet creamy vanilla lavender scent. People will disagree but that's fine because I have both and I'm smelling them side by side Libre L'Absolu Platine by YSL on my skin comes the most close to lavandes Trianon lancome than any other of the Libre scents and doesn't pull dated or cloying on me... if you were not a fan of any Libre scents give this one a try because who knows maybe like me this will be the one that works on you😊 This is why I love fragrance the way smells work with our skin ,environment, and even can trick our noses into smelling things we aren't really..so fascinating! And we'll if your like me and love this flanker I'm glad this one gets some love it certainly deserves ❤️

Clean fresh airy aldehydes! It is beautiful. Man I appreciate a well done aldehyde perfume. This one is cold and airy. Reminds me of a brisk breeze in early spring when flowers are just blooming but then frost sweeps in and covers everything overnight. It feels more conceptual, evoking a mood or specific scene. I think this one would work wonders in warm weather. The dry down is powdery vanilla perfection—a dry vanilla, only slightly warmed up by a creamy amber. I think this flanker feels like an intense version but in the opposite direction. Instead of going deeper & warmer (like the actual Intense version), it leans brisker & brighter. If I had to just choose 2 flankers, it might be Platine and the Intense. These two cover both sides of the Libre spectrum beautifully, taking the OG up a notch in either direction. One warmer, one brighter. I do appreciate the OG EDP, that one is the middle ground between the two flankers previously mentioned. I believe the Le Parfum version deviates the most and drifts in a different direction with its honey syrup grape bubble gum accord. While Intense and Platine remain more true to the original DNA.
