Libre Santal Couture

Initial spray there was no mistaking this is the Libre DNA all the way but almost immediately it begins to settle into a smooth sandalwood that almost feels like a subtle woody shimmer. As if light was reflecting off pale wood. It does remind me a little of the Panache Angel Dust but stripped of all the rich sweet vanilla booziness. Its simpler and softer. To me it just feels serene and refined.

I’m not a Libre fangirl but I absolutely LOVEEE Santal Couture! I always found the whole line to be “good” but not great, somewhat sharp & a little soapy in an unpleasant way. Santal Couture balances the signature Libre DNA and makes it soft, creamy, delicious, and incredibly elegant. I will be wearing this daily until further notice!

It's better than original Libre. More unisex, more "woody". And I like it. If this was the original (and for the same price), it would be amazing! Ofc Vanille Couture is still the OG. But this one....I'm obssesed.

Shes gorgeous boss girl, who doesnt answer to anyone. She has that Libre DNA but dries down creamy and soft with the sandalwood. She enters the room before you do, people will notice. 😍❤️

I love the Libre DNA. The first spray goes almost rubber. It’s strong, the rubber goes away quickly and dries down into Libre with some subtle sandalwood softness. It’s beautiful but not ground breaking. My husband who loves sandalwood said upon initial spray “why would someone want to smell like that?!” Then changed his tune on dry down. It’s interesting, I think I’ll skip this flanker however.

The most masculine out of all Libres so far. Similar to platine in that it has this cold woody feel to it. Platine is a better scent though. This one is a bit sharp. Sandalwood is not creamy. Just smelled it and said this would be great on a guy! This is good because I love unisex scents. I have something similar already. But I got it anyway. Might part w it though 😂

I was lucky enough to grab a bottle of this to try. Unfortunately it was a blind buy fail for me, a little too masculine leaning. Had old school aftershave vibes on initial spray. Will give it another go but im too inpatient to wait for the dry down, i want to love it from the get go. 😮💨

why do they keep releasing new Libres twice a year?

Does this contain the amberwoods/ambroxan that bother so many?
