Mon Paris Parfum Floral

I really like it, but not much as the Couture flanker. It's a bowl of sugared fruit (mostly peach) with rose petals. It's not really floral to my nose. I was also surprised that despite the lack of berries this feels sweeter than the others. It's very young and flirty. I appreciate that the patchouli is much lighter as well. If you have an opportunity to try it, I suggest you do! It's been discontinued so I purchased mine from T.J. Maxx at a huge discount. Update: my husband's nose gets the floral, and it's his least favorite between Mon Paris (OG) and the Couture flanker. I didn't get the florals until at least an hour later. By hour 4, she was completely gone. I wasn't expecting longevity to be so poor. It's definitely worst than Couture which is also an EDT.

This is a unique floral fragrance that’s very distinct and different to anything that has ever been on the market—and I’ve been smelling scents for half a century. This is a pretty and flirty fragrance, a peachy floral. It opens with an explosion of white flowers and peach, then settles into a sweet and playful dream with peach and Daytura flower the stars of the show. Finally it dries down to a clean, aquatic, soapy skin scent. This is absolute perfection in spring. This juicy and delicious fragrance is what I imagine a fairy would smell like dancing over dewy flowers. Longevity is about three or four hours. I love everything about this fragrance, including the exquisite bottle.

When I got a sample of this one a couple of weeks ago, I put it off to the side because I had several other fragrances that I was convinced I would like more. by the time I got to this one, I wasn't expecting much, but that was not the case. I was very pleasantly surprised when I tried this one, and as the evening wore on I liked it more and more. Beautiful light scent, not too sweet, not too floral, not a headache in sight. It was even better when I strolled up to my local pharmacy and found it on sale for only $100 for the large bottle. Total score.

That picture is absolutely beautiful, I love it. Seems another floral musk, surely one note or combination of notes will make it stand out somehow. The prominence of notes in perfumes makes it stand out from the rest, let us hope this one does too with the special Datura, Magnolia and Cashmere notes. Gorgeous advert photograph....

I am in love with this. It’s very different to other fragrances on the market. It has a unique and very addictive note in there. I think it’s the datura flower. Overall this fragrance is fruity, fizzy, feminine, flirty, and fun. Perfect for spring/summer. Edit: it’s now over three years later, and I still adore this fragrance.

This smells soooo goood! I love the peony and peach notes. Perfection with my chemistry! Only problem is that it does not last more than 4 hours; I don't mind respraying however. The top notes are my favorite, so I will happily experience them again and again. Fantastic in 80 degree spring weather. Compliment getter as well!

I am finding current YSL just don’t have the staying power. They vanish rapidly and all you are left with is a variant of woods/musk/rose. This is very beautiful and floral but so what - it’s gone too quick.

I love the smell of this on me! It smells like peach French macarons dipped in peonies and orange blossoms!

As every perfume does, the duration before each note kicks in and the overall longevity of the scents may depend on the wearer's skin pH/acidity level. But if there's one thing I agree on, it's that this perfume starts out impressive; fruity notes that mingle with floral notes. The way the notes transition and mingle in the first 2 hours is pretty impressive to me. However, a few hours later, that's when the generic soapy/ fragrant shampoo-ness nearly everyone talks about kicks in. If you're the type to wear fragrances abundantly all over your body (the kind who just loves to bask on perfume like it's some kind of body spray), you will definitely dislike the shampooey dry drown. That soapy smell can trigger a headache if you have a sensitive nose. BUT if used "sparingly" (about 3-5 spritz all over the body in total), it's pretty okay. Longevity: If you don't sweat too much, the scent can last up to 12 hours (perhaps even more on some people). Dry down/final notes: It dries down with a sweet fruity-floral, fresh-out-of-the-shower shampoo smell at the end of the day. It's not my favorite scent, but if used sparingly, it's definitely a "workable, back up" perfume on busy days. If you like perfumes that come with a kick of scent transitions throughout the day, and you appreciate the soapy shower fragrance as dry down, you may like this one.

A radiant, more floral and decidedly more daytime interpretation of the classic Mon Paris. The fresh, fruity opening flows seamlessly into a soft bouquet of flowers, before settling into a musky woody base with a subtle touch of patchouli. The composition is light, luminous and very feminine, perfect for spring and summer. It reminds me of the days just before the summer holidays, a warm evening outside my grandmother’s house, when a gentle breeze carries the sweet scent of peonies from the garden. There’s something nostalgic about it, yet fresh and carefree. Longevity is around six hours, with moderate projection.

@Tomelise: I don't think the flanker madness will ever end, but my issue is flankers all smelling so similar that it makes no sense to buy them. I don't know when the trend started, but it's annoying now. Companies are smart, though and they know what the consumer likes and doesn't like based not only on sales, but commentary on fragrance sites and social media platforms. Too much patchouli in the original? Pull that out, add something else trendy (oud anyone?) and voila, a flanker. Too much oud? Pull it, add ambroxan, voila another flanker. And so forth, until you've got Inception levels of perfume.

Lovely, although a very spring summer fragrance. It definitely need warm weather to develop on the skin and moist skin is a must with this fragrance. I don't hate it, it' has a very fresh citrus opening and initial spray. When one gets wafts through out the day it is musky and green, but still very light. Although it smells quite young, the musky edge gives it some nice maturity that would work well in an office environment or when going out to brunch with the girls, or even going out for a walk with the family.

First I get sweet fruit, next a kind of Granny perfume-type sharp flowers, and lastly some pleasant soft fruit. I loved it at the shop, but now wearing it home the love turned to like. I'll have to mull this over 🤔 *edit: I wore this today, and several times I thought I was wearing Miracle. Other times the scent made me think of J'adore. Beautiful as all of them are, there's a faint mosquito repellent vibe in this. Too much citrus for my liking.

This was a blind buy. I don’t love this fragrance because i struggle with peony in most perfumes (ex. Bright Crystal and Blooming Bouquet) it can be too soapy and screechy for me, but I’m going to keep wearing this and see if my nose gets used to it. Glad there’s minimal patchouli in here. Smells very similar to original mon Paris but not so sweet. This honestly reminds me of that Ed Hardy perfume you can find at Walmart with the skulls on it.

On a cotton pad, this smells similar to the new Miu Miu Twist with that zingy citrus/fruit thing going on, but on my skin, the patchouli is too obvious for my liking (I hate patchouli with a passion, so even a trace of it smells obvious to me) while the opening is actually nice. Without the patchouli, I'd definitely buy a full bottle of this as the peony/citrus/fruity/rose vibe on my skin is quite nice, but that damn patchouli...*sigh*

Tested today in the mall and the shop assistent told me that it has very weak start, so I should be patient, to wait untill it will bloom and she was right! I would throw away the paper if she did not tell me that. After 3 minutes it was blooming with peony and orange blossom softened by peach, pure heaven. Although it is on the sweet side, it does not cross the line to be cloying.

I wore this during a vacation in Valencia and since then I just associate this perfume with a nice, summery, relaxing scent. It's all about flowers with this one. Performance is modest but decent which makes it wearable especially in the summer heat when you don't need a migraine inducing perfume. Got me at least a person asking me what I wear.

If you found the original is too sweet, this one may appeal to you. The juicy berry sweetness is what I really like about Mon Paris. This one is nice. It's floral, light and fresh, a good option for spring and summer daytime wear. Nothing outstanding about it though and I will move on after I finish my bottle.

This is more fruity than floral scent, appropriate for spring wear. Maybe a little bit girly in my opinion. It's nice, but I probably won't purchase another bottle when I'll finish that one, because I'm more into floral (spring, summer) or gourmand (fall, winter) type of fragnances. Bottle is stunning!

probably one of my fave floral scents atm. dries down to a nice jasmine scent but kinda reminds me of like those air fresheners in those luxurious bathrooms (in a good way). still have yet to try the OG mon paris since I prefer a more fruity sweet scent as opposed to floral ones.

It is different from the original by not being heavy on the strawberries, being less cloying, less sugary. It smells a lot like peony scented shampoo. It's girly, sweet and endearing, not for me, but pretty. -

This is nice, but there’s nothing about this that makes me feel crazy in love with this or want to repurchase again. It’s a fresh and cute smell with the rose, patchouli and musk. That’s really all.

It is the best from the line 💕it carries the OG DNA without having its screechy musky note, it has a strong resemblance with Chanel chance eau tendre... But I actually prefer this one.

This smells ok. A bit synthetic, but peachy in the beginning. It's not really full-bottle worthy considering my current collection.

I'd say it is your usual fresh floral fragrance with a hint of fruity sweetness. Nothing less, nothing more. Definitely nothing groundbraking or memorable, just something you probably smelled somewhere before already. There is a note in it I am not a big fan of (which is either peony or magnolia, assuming by the fact, that these 2 are also in Versace Bright Crystal and I can smell the same note in it). I prefer the drydown, it is more soft compared to a little bit sharp opening. In conclusion, I'd say it is an inoffensive spring/summer everyday fragrance. I got 30 ml for a big discount after which I think it was worth the buy, but I won't repurchase, as atm I am leaning more towards more unique type of fragrances. The bottle is lovely though :)

Recently got a sample when I bought the Intensement for myself (which I love), in comparison... this one is... let's just say I don't really like it. It is soap on my skin, which I know some of you may like, but I don't. It's workable, and I would give it to someone who appreciates it more. Again, that might also just be my skin chemistry, but from the get-go I find it a basic sweet floral, a bit too basic for my tastes. It's less sweet than the OG, that's for sure (I cannot tolerate the OG because it really is dizzying), yet to me this one is unfortunately forgettable. As an actual soap I might actually like it, but as a perfume it's missing a certain je ne sais quoi.

I don’t love the fragrance, but it’s not bad. I find that it smells sweet with not much more to it (I can’t smell the citrus on my skin). It’s a light and inoffensive smell, however I personally prefer fragrances that have a bit more depth, with some spice or a “warmer” smell. I’m sure this perfume would be enjoyable for some people—just not for me.

I liked this so much better than the original. This one has a 'bite' - a sharpness that adds interest and airiness to the scent, whereas I found the original suffocating. This one sparkles and has a certain effervescence that is appealing to me. The only drawback is that it is not as long lasting as the original which has tremendous longevity.

I didn't try the original version yet but in comparison with the Intensement version this is a lot weaker and too linear. It lasted on me only for about 4 hours. It's strongly floral from the beginning, I can't smell any citruses in the opening as I do in the Intensement version. It's very average and it's not my style at all.

It’s a nice clean citrus scent. I’m on the fence wether or not that I like it. For me I feel like it’s missing something. I can’t place it. I could take it or leave it.

I hate the smell of this on me - it smells like the cheap soap bubbles kids get - very synthetic smell. I like the soap bubbles, but I have NO wish to wear the smell on me. This started out so great, but 5 minutes later, cheap soapbubble water!

The carded sample I received of this states that this is “The scent of blooming passion, the trail of desire.” You’ll be SHOCKED to know this is a bit of an exaggeration... What Mon Paris Floral is, is a bright burst of flowers and peach. The fragrance opens in a bright burst of rose and peony. Soon afterward, peach makes a big entrance. It’s a syrupy peach, like you’d find in the iced teas of the American South. So much so, this could be called Mon Savannah as much as Mon Paris. A few minutes later, the flowers return to dance with the peach and they each take their turn leading the fragrance. The flowers, however, have some sass in them. Maybe it’s the datura, I’m not familiar with the note, but it causes a bit of tickle to the nose. As if YSL left a few thorns amongst the roses to say “Get too close, boys, and you’ll prick your finger.” It’s an easy, everyday scent with a little sass included free of charge. Not particularly memorable, but I’d only be pleased around someone wearing this.

If first perfume in Mon Paris line was somewhat original adding something a bit different to sweet patchouli market, this Floral flanker just drags it back to the pool of commonness. It is not even that floral. After initial one minute brightness (like the one experienced in OG for the first hour), it gets peachy, but more like peach scented soap-bar – not fuzzy, not juicy, not unripe or overripe, not like the peach candy or pop, just very meh. Then it turns to very bald peony scent with some musk (not as clean and bright as in the original or the EDT) and some patchouli, with a good dose of cashmeran. Any other flowers are non-detectable, just rose maybe. It is not as sweet as previously mentioned ones though - the lack of berries being the reason, I guess. Moderate sillage and relatively weak staying power for this line (three to four hours). I would limit it to spring daytime only. Not worth it.

So I just received a sample of this perfume from Sephora along with my order , personally I think this smell a lot like juicy couture couture couture , when the notes open up , it drys down to a musky patchouli scent on my skin very powdered , and soft but at the same time strong , this perfume is definitely very strong 2 sprays will work and u can smell it all over u , it’s nice but not my time of perfume , like I said It has that dna of couture couture and it also reminds me of the other perfume called chi chi , this perfume would be nice to were on a night out clubbing or out with friends at a resturant or bar it will definitely last u a long time !

This is everything I wanted the original to be. Super feminine, so classy- smells like an incredibly expensive shampoo. My boyfriend LOVES this. I wear the original for special occasions because it has a fizzy note to it that makes it very elegant and special occasion worthy. This one is way more wearable and signature scent worthy. I feel like this is the kind of scent you wear everyday, for any occasion. The versatility factor for this one is huge. It smells like a fruity peony concoction and I’m literally obsessed. Probably one of my favorites this year!

On me this has juicy rounded intense aspects of the original, though the florals make this rounded creamy and eraser like (smiggle shop) or slight doll head plastic like which i totally dig. This has depth, silage, its different enough.. just ... than the original, i was wanting this scnet to keep linear to its opening after 10 mins.

Plastic-y peach, cotton-y musk and patchouli. Later this plastic settles down and peony comes out. This perfume vibe reminds some Viva la Juicy or Juicy Couture perfumes. Feminine, bit soap-y, floral, clean. Not loud and soft enough as skin itself. Rather for romantic evenings, but can be used in everyday. Longevity around hour.

No. It smells like tainted Mon Paris. It starts similar with Mon Paris but after two minutes I realize there is no strawberry only undefiniable fruits and sour chemical smell of new carpet = 4-phenylcyclohexene or very musky rose (Chloe?).

This reminds me of Dior Joy. I feel the peachy-rose/peony-(very) musky combination goes in the same direction as Joy. It is a beautiful fragrance, definitely very pleasant and elegant.

I tried a sample of this. I'm a fan of Paris but not of mon Paris. However, I wanted to try. Unfortunately its very weak and smell very synthetic and generic. Nothing original there

I am wondering when this flanker-craziness will end? There are so many and they all smell very similar...Interesting if this one is gonna be different. judging by notes it won't

I love this. To me it smells like a rose flavored macaron that has been dipped in a peach flavored green tea.

This is a floral and luminous scent. Datura flower enlightened by a bouquet of dewy flowers and juicy peach.

too many flowers in this .for someone who dont like fruits ..great pick :)
