MYSLF Eau de Parfum

I've smelled this cologne on multiple occasions and always thought the same thing at the time: "meh, nothing special" But one day, while at a local discounter sale, I came across it for a good price and since I didn't want to leave empty handed, I decided to buy it. I wasn't sure if I was going to gift it to my father or keep it for myself (no pun intended) since it filled the "white floral" void that was in my current collection. I took it home, wore it, didn't mind it and continued to rinse and repeat for the next few days - not just having it on my wrist like my prior tests, but actually rocking it while living my life and doing activities. And honestly, WOW - what a change wearing this repeatedly in real-life can make. It's become an easy everyday 'dumb reach' for me as it's casual, but can also be dressed up. Highly versatile from that POV. Safe to say, I never gave it to my father (sorry Pops!) It's just a simple, clean, inoffensive, laundry-like scent. I can't say its gotten me any compliments (aside from the odd one from my fiance), but it picks me up when wearing it and I'd say that's what's MOST important. Performance has been great for me as well - not crazy like nuclear, but sufficient for the purpose. I can tell its projecting within a small bubble and lingers longer before becoming a skin scent. I've even taken it on vacation in different climates and never found it to be too cloying or annoying - just a pleasant aroma consistently radiating around me. I think its all-year appropriate, but would especially shine in the warmer months of Spring and Summer. For context: I was a HUGE YSL Y EDP guy but now I find that fragrance to be a bit cloying, annoying and over-used whereas I haven't encountered this one as much. I still use Y occasionally, but much prefer MYSELF (especially as a now 36 year old male). So if you're looking for a good first fragrance, or just a clean every-day fragrance, especially as someone older than 25, I'd put this up there over Y EDP which is probably YSL's most recommended fragrance these days. As an interesting note: Prada Luna Rossa Ocean EDT also smells quite similar to this - so if you're familiar with that scent and like it, I'd say MYSLF EDP is an easy blind-buy (or vice versa). 7.6/10

Last year , a young girl seller proposed me this in Marionnaud France , I didn’t really been attentioned because i have smelled many scenes before , but today i passed by an tried it again only it , the opening is a well aromatic balance but the middle make me stopping on my way back because i felt i remembered something from my childhood, checking the notes and i was fascinated when i saw its Tunisian Jasmin , so yeah in my childhood in Tunisia my grandfather used to have a nice jasmin in the garden that change all the neighborhood scent , if i was told Jasmin is putted in a fragnance i will think no doubt that its synthetic or modified but in this perfume its real Tunisian Jasmin , only YSL can do this magic combination and reading the perfume story on their site shows that the Jasmin has been planted and reserved for YSL. So you can wear it mainly by day in a Spring day or in a summer day afternoon with the soft wind coming by and everybody around gonna feel safe (for me i will use it all the year only when its soft but in summer hot beach days i prefer to use a more fresh scent) . It suits me a 29yo boy but i really see it for any man in his office in all seasons as well. That was one of my best discoveries in shops. YSL is simply YSL when it comes to perfumes , and big thanks to the noses behind this.

This is my second favorite version of MYSLF, but it's neck and neck with L'Absolu. The EDP is citrusy, bright, and sweet floral. The Ambrofix is perfect here as it adds woody and musky depth and helps keep this profile unisex and not feminine. The pachouli isn't very green or camphorus, but it adds slight earthy darkness and density making this appropriate for casual evenings. The EDP smells very, very good. The reason it's second to L'Absolu is it's longevity is not as strong, plus I think the added ginger and cardamom make L'Absolu more interesting, more masculine, and a year-round scent, day or night. L'Absolu also stays much more sweet and dense deep into the dry down, whereas the EDP kind of ends up smelling like clean laundry. I really like both aromas, but ultimately L'Absolu is much more versatile. Literally splitting hairs here, definitely sample every MYSLF to pick the right one for you, but you can't go wrong. 8.8/10

This fragrance is very well rounded. Although it doesn't have niche-level complexity, for a designer fragrance I would say it shows quite good development throughout the wear especially considering the price. The bergamot blends nicely with the orange blossom, providing a prominent but nicely rounded out citrus feel, without the spicyness found in the parfum or in l'absolu. This is a very good fragrance for all year wear, but I think it's best for everyday wear in the spring and autumn. Although the price at retail is on the more overpriced side, I still think that this is a good fragrance, especially for younger people. It's inoffensive and can be worn in school or at an office. It's a decent compliment getter, with moderate sillage. On my skin, it lasts 6-8 hours with 8 sprays applied in the morning. Out of the full Myslf line, I think this one is the most versatile. It's a bright, youthful, energetic and uplifiting scent.

Super versatile. I fell in love with this scent the second I smelled it, and even after sampling 100+ fragrances since buying it, it’s still one of my all-time favorites. It’s an excellent everyday fragrance: clean, easygoing, pleasant, and extremely wearable. To me, it’s not quite as sophisticated as Gentle Fluidity Silver, so it doesn’t fill that same refined, soft-sophistication role. It feels a bit more casual and downscaled sophistication-wise. Where this fragrance really shines is versatility. It covers almost every situation that Gentle Fluidity Silver, Prada Luna Rossa Black, Oud Minerale etc dont. I'd reach for this anytime I dont know 100% what to wear. This review might come across as if the fragrance is a "meh" fragrance. It definitely is not. Its among my favorites 100%. Its the best daily I can think of, when I dont feel like putting on Luna Rossa black or GFS etc. Love+

Its a masterpiece blend, best selling, award winning scent that women love to smell on a man A haters job is to hate on greatness... so let them do their job If you want your wife to say things like "My coworkers all think you smelled amazing" or "My sister asked what cologne you were wearing last night, she wants to buy it for her boyfriend" just go with MYSLF EDP. It just works everytime Is it floral...? Yes Does it lean unisex...? No, if so, please show me a woman who wears it Do women like it 100x's more than your Aventus? Yeah & Its not even close I own all 3 flankers, all have their time and place but the EDP is the most versatile and smells the cleanest & freshest of them all. The EDP is a night scent in the summer and its a day or night the rest of the year Scent 10/10 Projection 9/10 Sillage 9/10 Performance 9/10

I have the Le Parfum so I bought a decant of EDP. First thing I have to say is they are definitely familiar. The orange blossom note is the main character in their DNA however, the opening brings two different notes that are important for both. In Le Parfum, black pepper gives an elegant feeling while bergamot shines in the EDP. Personally, I prefer the freshness and brightness of bergamot so point for the EDP. Which one I recommend? Yeah, for me living in the tropic, the EDP. For anyone with cooler weather, Le Parfum feels great. Scent: 9.5/10 bright, nice, versatile and attractive Longevity: 8/10 even better than expected. 7-8 hrs Sillage: 8/10 not sure, apparently enough Overall: 9/10 great fragrance, good value in duty free, very easy to wear One word to describe: IMMERSIVE

After owning this for a while, this is genuinely a pretty good scent. It's inoffensive and very clean, fresh, not hyper masculine. I wish it had better performance however. Edit: Honestly, this is a fantastic summer fragrance if you want that ultra clean fresh vibe. Despite what I initially said it does project really well, but the longevity is just okay. Do not overspray, or the sweetness will get overwhelming/cloying. It’s definitely not the most unique or sophisticated scent out there, but it does its job perfectly as a mass appealing summer scent. Pro tip: spray your clothes to make it last longer, instead of overspraying, and keep it off your neck and chest so you don't go noseblind.

Definitely one of the best signature scents within the designer realm. And No 🙂↔️ it isn't a feminine scent at all. I wouldn't even consider it unisex. This is undoubtedly masculine. Yes it has orange blossom, and yes the orange blossom is easily detected, but that doesn't automatically make the scent feminine. Firstly, the orange blossom here is quite animalic. Secondly, this fragrance is dosed with ambrofix. The ambrofix here is musky, leathery, animatic, woody, ambery, kinda nutty, piney and balsamic like. It's masculine. And it is very present in this fragrance. I genuinely couldn't imagine a woman wearing this. I swear, yalls noses have been severely damaged after Covid-19.

I absolutely love this as a daily wear. It opens up citrusy and fresh, and I almost find it soapy in a way. Then it dries down into this magnificent floral fragrance with a prominent orange blossom. Honestly just an elegant fragrance with wonderful versatility. As the fragrance becomes a skin scent, I get a small touch of a smoother woody note which helps balance this fragrance out. Projection wise not the strongest, yet it performs VERY well the first hour, lasts around 5 hours on my skin with about a foot of projection. This fragrance is perfectly blind but safe, but I do find it basic. Amazing if you’re a starter like me.

I actually have a different opinion on this than most. I find this pretty unisex, very easy to wear, clean and simple. To me the bergamot, ambrofix and orange blossom are equally balanced and provides a really good push for several hours. It evolves into a simple white floral musk with hints of the orange blossom still lingering. While push is good, longevity is average. Maybe 6-8 hours max. I have this and reach for it for those not much going on days and just wanna smell nice and clean. I would also say the added ginger in the L’absolu makes me thinkId probably prefer that over this. But still a solid fragrance. 8/10

2026 BOTTLE I am a straight woman and this perfume is the most beautiful, refined, well blended CLEAN AS CLEAN CAN BE FRESH perfume ! The perfume sales assistant in SuperDrug told me she wears this all the time and being no stranger to 90s men's perfumes and wearing them myself, I thought I'd try it. WOW, it is just refreshing, cotton like clean - I spray this on house lounging clothes before bed, it's bright, cheerful and yet very long lasting on clothes, at least 12 hours. So soft, it has nothing that jars my senses at all, YSL really created one of the best super clean yet long lasting perfumes.

I love this stuff, and honestly it's been YEARS since I owned a designer fragrance, I had a Versace Eros from like 2018 so it's been awhile and I decided to cop this, Honestly, I think ITS AMAZING, this deserves to be up there man, I love how fresh and citrusy with that floral notes kick in, tho I know I won't get compliments but damn is it nice to smell. Also I got around 7 hours of longevity on skin Smell: 9.5/10 Bottle: 100/10 I think if ur looking for a fresh, like laundry type scent, then buy this, trust me, I got it for 99 dollars which ain't bad for a 100ML bottle It gets my approval ✅️✅️

Had this on and went to visit a lady friend, She owns YSL libre and when she smelt "MYSLF" on me she loved it and asked me what cologne I was wearing. She isn't into fragrances like me, but when i told her it was YSL, she said it smelt like her YSL libre but "more manly". Women love this stuff because 99% of women just love a clean/sweet smelling man and this does the job extremely well. The fragrance community will always hate on something like this because it's not complex, but it gets the job done. If I've learned anything from my fragrance journey it's "simplicity is best".

After reading the reviews here I was expecting to be disappointed, however after trying it out a few times I'm actually surprised, it's a really nice scent, it is not groundbreaking or anything indeed, but that doesn't make it a bad perfume, it's actually pretty good, it's very white floral oriented with a touch of musky almost powdery citruses, nothing too complex, but definitely a good scent, if you can find this for a good price I'd say it's definitely worth picking up, hard to dislike it honestly unless you've got a fucked up nose. I'd give it an 8/10

This fragrance simply makes me feel great whenever I wear it. So bright and yet so relaxing. Feels so clean to wear, it smells like freshly washed linen sheets especially in the mid and drydown. Opening has that bright bergamot push. Can be worn in any season and any occasion, but this on a spring day just feels "right". Also in terms of performance, this fragrances defines the "average" for me. It actually sticks around longer than most freshies if you push your nose into it, but projection isn't crazy ,which actually makes this great for office aswell.

Since buying this, I've tried chasing down another fresh daily fragrance to replace it as my signature... ADG parfum, Y Iced Cologne, Y EDP, Allure homme edition blanche, Ingenious Ginger, missoni wave, Eros Energy, Dylan blue, YSL L'homme, Cedrat Boise, Green Irish Tweed, Aventus, etc. Nothing beats this scent for a daily driver or even a date night scent in the warmer months. It's appropriately sweet, smooth, and modern with good projection and staying power. Everybody around me loves it. Gives off the vibe of a charismatic well groomed man.

I don't understand people who say it's generic. It gives fabric softener vibes like no other cologne and I love it. It has a male leaning unisex scent. I bought it as an everyday/office fragrance where I don't want to seduce (or offend) anybody anyway, I just want to smell nice. But of course it doesn't mean that it's unattractive to women - in fact, a lot of women prefer just a clean smell on a man, as opposed to a strong male scent. My gripe however, is the longevity. On my skin it only projects for up to 2 hours. That's a huge L.

I would start by describing this fragrance as creamy, floral and masculine. The opening is bright and fresh; and then the orange blossom unfolds giving it a citrusy-floral character before drying down into a warm-woody note. It does not really smell unique but somehow thats the charm of it. A very mass-appealing and versatile scent. Performance on skin is good lasting 6-8 hours with 2 hours of moderate projection. Overall it is a good purchase, however it required some maturation as at first it was a bit harsh and screechy.

Fresh, clean, radiant, bright, floral, woody, classy, versitle. Anytime, anywhere, any season. Buttoned up or down. Longevity is average of 5 hours which is the only negative for me. I just carry a decant around when I want another blast. The opening is amazing and is a welcome aroma every time. I enjoy it enough to purchase the refill for it. I highly recommend it to most anyone of any age as long as you understand it's not a 'classic manly man resin filled smokey dookie wood scent' .

This was the first fragrance that I ever considered my 'signature scent' after starting my collection. Got a sample after seeing an ad for it on social media, and before it even went to discounters I KNEW I had to have it. Went right to Macy's and bought the biggest size they had. It's a gorgeous orange blossom bergamot opening, staying on my skin and developing for about 8 hours before it's entirely gone. If you haven't yet, go give this one a try, I promise it'll amaze you! 11/10

i adore this fragrance. super refreshing delicious citrus with a minty/piney fresh floral summer breeze on a sunny day. boasts a confident elegance for a perfect night out. the air is divine by far one of my favorite scents. the opening is fantastic. would recommend for a daily driver or date night fragrance. downsides are that it doesn't radiate as much as you'd like. the performance is complete bosh, turns into a skin scent quite fast. i give this a 9.5/10.

This is so good for layering. It was my signature scent before I really got into fragrances but It’s still one of my favorites and has gotten me quite a few compliments. I have an older bottle and a newer one to compare, there’s a depth that the fragrance develops with a year to two sitting. I perceive the change as a deepening of the orange blossom and ambroxin. I almost get facets of ginger and vanilla, making the fragrance smell less like a dryer sheet.

Such a good fragrance. It might be a little too linear for some people, but it’s clean, masculine, and fresh. The white floral note smells very high-quality. The Ambrofix makes me go nose-blind pretty quickly, but other people will still be able to smell it. Longevity is decent, around four hours or so. The citrus notes are nice, although I think they could have been done a little better. A true dumb reach. Non-offensive and very easy to wear. 8/10

I've been using YSL MYSLF EDP as a signature scent for some time now, really versatile fresh perfume for man, even though it features a sweet orange blossom heart, that rather than making it femenine i think it gives the scent a unique profile. Fresh, musky, sweet, woody. Its everything, its mass appealing but not generic. Good for every-day use just be careful on the colder days. I think its great. Beats anything in the Y Line IMO.

Barbershop fragrance X 10. Super clean, fresh, and slightly sweet fragrance, easy wear to the gym, office, and daily use. Could also work for date night if layered with a woody fragrance. Easy to reach, longevity is decent, you get an hour or two of projection and 4-5 more hours of a skin scent. If it lasted a little longer or projected more, I would endorse the bell out of this fragrance. Solid purchase, would recommend

This is by far one of the best fragrances I've ever owned. It's a masculine and floral type of scent. Everytime I get a whiff of this fragrance I get excited and can't wait to wear it. I personally rate it 9/10. Only flaw for my personal preference is the longevity. Lasts around 5 hours but I carry a travel atomizer with me to quickly apply a fragrance if I need to. Great fragrance. Can't wait to try the Parfum version.

This is very safe and pleasant. Nobody in the office or in the general public has told me I stunk while using it, and I've received compliments. On me, it lasts from 7 A.M to 3 P.M. Projection becomes intimate around 12 P.M. For about 70 USD, it was a great pickup. For the average joe (like me) who's looking for an easy and non-offensive scent throughout every season and occasion, I think it is a perfect fragrance.

The king of an everyday mass appealing scent. I get a touch of citrus, but the white floral is really dominant. The best way to describe how this smells is like a nice clean and floral dryer sheet. Lasts 6-8 hours with average projection. Im a normal guy trying to smell good. No eau de donkey piss or anything fancy needed. With that in mind, I could honestly end my collection here. Subjective Score: 9.7/10

This was my first real fragrance, and i still love it to this day! Only bottle that i actually finished. Its just a clean, confident, easy to wear anywhere-anytime fragrance for any age. After trying the other flankers, this is still the best alongside l’absolu. If you dont want to spend a crazy amount, get this. If you can afford to spend more, get l’absolu. Performance is average, not bad at all. 9/10

If you are in any way into white floral fragrances, you cannot go wrong with this. Beautiful citrus opening, that quickly evolves into the classic orange blossom nuance. It may seem boring, but it is my second most complimented fragrance. This is also the best of the myself line. Don’t waste your time with absolu. If you are in a colder climate, le parfum is worth a look, but you only really need one

Its a very nice fragrance that will get compliments I noticed that when i first opened it the performance wasnt really that good It faded to a skin scent quickly and the projection and sillage was off But after letting it sit for a while i started getting decent longevity with solid projection So if you have the same problem performance wise let it macerate for a bit and then try it on

Finally bought a bottle and yeah, It's understandable why this is such a hit. It's so clean! Orange blossom/neroli can have this heavy, indolic almost funky vibe if overdosed but this just avoids all that with packaging it in modern Ambroxan style men's package. It just works, it's ethereal, airy, but that ambroxan brings it down and anchors it. Must have in every man's collection.

This is the first fragrance I bought for myself and my first blind buy. its what made me get into fragrances in the first place and it really did NOT dissapoint. Its still in my top 2. Its very simple but you cant really go wrong with that It also gets plenty of compliments and it can be worn for literally anything and any occasion.

I love this. did not expect to, but I do. it’s incredibly clean and fresh, and the bergamot feels very light. smells like fresh laundry and mixes very well with my skin chemistry. the added muskiness from wear does not “dirty” the scent, as I find other similar scents are prone to. would recommend, even if it is a bit basic.

Opens with a sweet bergamot scent balanced by a soft orange blossom note; followed by a salty, sea note and musk. Simple—barely evolves in drydown, but very balanced; and I believe that is the point here. Inoffensive and professional, yet masculine. This is one of my favorites, and is flexible for any occasion. ✅Excellent

This is hands down the best summer fragrance and the best one in the line. The parfum and absolu versions are good but the scent profile is a little reserved. With this one, everything is spot on. Honestly I think the price is very good for what it offers, I would be even willing to pay more. Easily 10/10

I bought this today I'm very happy with my purchase, the clean, fresh, citrusy scent works very well and it just smells clean, fresh and good I would give the scent a 9/10 it smells awesome if someone is looking for a signature scent or a new trusty pick up this is one of the best options.

My most used and for a good reason. It's a nice clean scent with a fresh opening is not too loud, but just enough in my opinion. This scent profile is the most safe and comfy that you could get yourself, meaning that you won't offend anyone. You can overspray and underspray if you want to.

MYSLF is violently overhated. Sure, it's not the most unique designer fragrance on the market, but it does its job in being a solid, mass-appealing fragrance. Not sure why, but it's the only designer fragrance beside anything from MM that I see myself getting a bottle of. 9/10

I don't understand the hate! This smells good! Mass appealing? Yes! Is it a bad thing? Absolutely not! Mass appealing=getting compliments, it goes hand in hand. It smells really good. It's to much haters here, niche collectors who pay 300 dollars to smell like a coffee bean.

Easy to wear scent that's good for anytime of the year for any occasion. I like the floral orange blossom note, could make the fragrance lean unisex to some but I like it. I voted love just because of how easy it is to wear and was my dumb reach for almost 2 years.

I’m really confused why people are saying this is a weak fragrance, especially when it’s an ambroxan based fragrance. 3-4 sprays honestly fills up a room and it last 3-5 hours with crazy projection, then after that it’s a skin scent with a nice 2 ft bubble,

This fragrance is a 10/10 for me. Perfect all year round and easily the most complimented fragrance in my collection. Super easy to reach for and personally lasts me around 8+ hours on skin with good projection. Still my favorite out of the MYSLF line.

beautiful floral fragrance that leans masculine. opening is heavy on the bergamot, but the majority of the scent is a soft orange blossom. it smells like you are someone who showers every day and does their laundry regularly. fantastic fresh fragrance

In my opinion this is the ideal everyday scent for people who really like orange blossom. The projection is pretty good but it isn’t so loud where you would get dirty looks at a funeral but it’s loud enough where people would notice it. 9.2/10

If you are one of those debating between YSL Y and MYSLF – it depends what occasion you are going for, I'd say if you want more of a daily wear go for Y but I feel MYSLF is just that tad bit special where you can wear it for certain occasions.

This and L'Absolu are so close to me, love them both to death. Not a big fan of the Parfum oddly enough. Still, this is such a beautiful scent and currently my everyday wear. It's almost embarrassing how fast I've gone through my bottle.

first perfume to make me fall in love with bergamot. if it wasn’t for this i would’ve never thought of buying bleu de chanel. such a beautiful scent and the only complaint is the longevity is only around 6 hours on a good day
