MYSLF Eau de Toilette Intense

Walking into Macy's today and somehow leaving with the Ralph's Club New York Parfum, Prada Paradigme LE Parfum and the MYSLF Eau de Toilette Intense still doesn’t feel real to me. Out of all three, though, this was actually the one I expected to leave behind. After reading impressions and early reviews calling it basically a lighter, airier version of the EDP, I had pretty much decided to skip it entirely. After wearing it on skin, I genuinely don’t understand those comparisons. On my skin, this deviates from the MYSLF DNA more than any of the other flankers do, and I own the EDP, the Parfum, and the Absolu. The note breakdown mentions white musk and doesn’t mention neroli at all, but what I get from this fragrance is extremely different from the “clean laundry white musk” descriptions people keep giving it. To my nose, and especially on my skin, the musk here smells much closer to a Tonkin-style musk. If you’re familiar with something like Musc Tonkin, there’s that same darker, almost animalic natural muskiness underneath a very refined, soapy neroli accord. Maybe it’s skin chemistry. Maybe it’s the specific musk molecule they used. I don’t know. But the way this develops on me couldn’t be further from fresh laundry vibes. In the opening, I definitely get the citrus and amber facets, and there’s also noticeably more depth coming from the patchouli. The fragrance is airy, sure, but not lightweight. There’s substance here. The muskiness is actually the dominant characteristic throughout most of the wear, much more than in the other MYSLF releases. What’s interesting is that the faint little traces of the MYSLF orange blossom DNA are still there, but on my skin they never really turn into that clean detergent or fresh linen accord that the rest of the line can sometimes lean into. Instead, it smells more like a luxury soap accord — smooth, clean, refined, but still grounded by something darker underneath. The mid is where this fragrance really becomes fascinating to me. There’s this distinctly neroli-forward phase blended with that darker muskiness that almost hides beneath the surface before slowly becoming more prominent. Eventually, the neroli fades away and what I’m left with is this creamy, earthy patchouli mixed with that Tonkin-style musk and little lingering touches of ambery citrus. Performance has also been significantly better than I expected. At well beyond the seven-hour mark, it’s still very easy to pick up on my skin, and it’s performing exactly how I would want an EDT Intense to perform. I honestly think this release is going to divide people pretty heavily. Some people are probably going to get exactly what reviewers are describing — a clean, airy white musk scent. Others, especially depending on skin chemistry, may get the darker, more animalic muskiness that I’m getting. And if you do get that version of it, this fragrance becomes substantially more unique and interesting than early impressions are making it seem. What’s funny is that I wasn’t initially impressed by any of the MYSLF fragrances off tester strips. It wasn’t until I actually spent time wearing them that I started appreciating the nuance and evolution of the line. This one feels exactly the same way for me already. Ironically, I initially walked away from it. I bought the Prada Paradigme LE Parfum and the Ralph’s Club New York Parfum, went out to the car, let the scent keep developing on skin, sat there thinking about it, and then turned around and walked back inside to buy it too. I’m really glad I did.

Just picked up the new MYSLF EDT Intense and honestly I have a pretty different take than most people on it. A lot of reviews are gonna say it’s redundant or too close to the EDP. I get that because they definitely share the same DNA, but side by side they honestly feel pretty different to me. I actually wore the EDP the same day I tested the EDT Intense so I could compare them directly. Main differences for me: • The EDT Intense feels much lighter and airier • Not weaker — just fresher and more open • Keeps the core MYSLF DNA intact • Way more wearable in warmer weather and daily use • The white musk is honestly the MVP of the fragrance for me. It’s what gives it that super clean, airy, almost effortless feel I naturally lean toward fresher scents, so that probably plays a role, but I genuinely enjoy this version more than the EDP. To me, the EDP feels more suited for cooler weather while the EDT Intense basically feels like the perfect summer version of MYSLF. If I could only keep one from the line, I’d honestly keep the EDT Intense. So is it redundant if you already own the EDP? Personally, I don’t think so. I think people are gonna hate on it because it’s not a completely different scent, but to me they refined an already great DNA and made it even more wearable.

This stuff is lovely. The most inoffensive scent I have in my collection, up there with imagination and Bvlgari The Vert. The bottle is stunning, I got the 2 oz for $130 and some change from Sephora after finding it sold out everywhere. This bottle feels so good in my hand and is the perfect size. The bottle just looks like it smells good. This scent fills the place in my collection as a clean laundry, fresh floral type of scent. It’s very fresh, fairly unisex, but honestly you can tell it is masculine somehow. I adore this scent, it’s so clean and fresh, I think it is a nice take on the already floral heavy mass appealing dna, this just tones it down, softens it, turns it into something you’d like a room to smell like, and I have a thing for those kind of scents. People saying this is feminine have insecurity issues I’m assuming, because a guy can pull this off no problem. in fact, this is a breath of fresh air of a scent with all the cologney dna’s out there, I’m a cologne guy and I’m sick of them too, this goes in a complete different direction that the average person doesn’t expect from a cologne.

I like it, its a situational fragrance. Its not versatile, Its for high heat summer days & afternoons. I live in 2 cities - one being tropical, so this is a must have for me because it can be a daily driver and it smells great - just like the EDP but more "airy" If you love the MYSLF DNA this is your high-heat summer scent flanker. Its for furnace type days/afternoons when the EDP is just too much and can be a bit cloying. Its not versatile at all, but right now (June 2026) in the Northern Hemisphere its a perfect time for this scent I own all the flankers and this is how I wear them - EDT Intense: Summer Days/Afternoons - High Heat situations - EDP: Fall, Winter & Spring Days | Fall, Winter, Spring & Summer Nights - The most versatile version of them all - *Le Parfum: Fall & Winter Days | Fall, Winter, Spring Nights - Absolu: Fall & Winter Days | Fall, Winter, Spring Nights *Thameen's Royal Sapphire is a much higher quality, more refined & sophisticated niche version of MYSLF Le Parfum and has totally replaced it for me I'd give MYSLF EDT Intense a 95/100

I sampled this on skin today, and it’s an airier, muskier, skin-like version of the EDP. They smell nearly identical, except the EDP is denser and projects farther. The EDT-I is longer lasting on skin, though. I actually really, really like this one - it’s probably my new second-favorite of the line (behind L’Absolu), but ultimately, I will not be buying a bottle because it’s way too redundant to the EDP. If I want a lighter feel, I’ll just wear less sprays. I will purchase this when my EDP runs out since what I love most about the EDP is its clean laundry-like dry down, and the EDT does that much better. If you don’t own a MYSLF, strongly consider this one, but just be aware its sillage gets tight like a chalk outline very quickly - by design. If you can’t decide after trying them all and determining when/what you want to use this fragrance profile for, just pony up the bills and get L’Absolu. Ultimately, I still think it’s the most versatile one. 8.8/10

This is my third from the Myslf line (missing the Absolu). EDT Intense definetely brings the same dna in a fresher/airier way. People say it may be unnecessary but for myslf line lovers its a great option specially for the gym, sunny/hoy days, even for bed time. The musk feels amazing, very addictive and clean. Have to admit I have a small issue similar to ADG Profondo EDP, feels a bit too soft. This beautiful scents should have more power, but I guess is just the way it works. Scent: 10/10 Addictive, smooth, beautiful musky feeling. Could be the best in the line Longevity: 7.5/10 For an EDT works well. Weaker of the line Sillage: 7/10 Again, is an EDT. However, cant get the "intense". Its ok, could be way better Overall: 8.8/10 The scent on this one deserved a better performance. Could have been a masterpiece One word to describe: EXQUISITE

Received my 100ml and a sample yesterday direct from YSL. From the sample this smells like a more refined version of Zadig and Voltaire’s This is Him Undressed. Besides the opening the scent profile is almost identical. Opens with a toned down bergamont from MYSLF EdP and transforms into a beachy orange blossom with an occasional appearance of bergamont and dare I say lavender. This is 100% synthetic but feels like a refined synthetic compared to Nathalie Lorson’s This is Him Undressed. The latter costing about 1/4 to 1/2 the price. Great scent but 100% overpriced. MYSLF EdT Intense is a Daniela Andrier scent through and through with impressively longevity (almost 18 hours later I can still pick up the second skin / white musk / salt). An everyday feel good scent.

It's actually pretty good. It's more versatile than the others in the line and does far better in the heat. The OG was too cloying to wear in the middle of the summer Texas heat, but this one should shine in it. If you're inside a climate controlled environment you're probably going to complain about projection and longevity, but as soon as your skin heats up a little the edt comes back to life. It, like LNDL, invites people to get closer. If you already have the OG this will probably seem redundant, but if you don't this is the better option going into summer or if you live in an area that is warm year-round. To be fair I was sent a free bottle to review, so take what I said however you like it.

Just got mine in the mail today. Yeah it's good. The orange blossom is definitely lighter and more airy. I can detect the citrus even in the dry down. It's hard to describe when comparing to the EDP. If you like the line, I think it is not redundant to own both. I'll update in a couple days. I don't want to spray the EDP right now while I am testing the new one. I will note, it is interesting when I catch whiffs of it in the air. In the air, it smells very different from the EDP. Close to the skin, I pick up on more the the orange blossom and it reminds me of the EDP a bit more. Anyone calling it feminime - it's called M - YSL - F.. it's supposed to be unisex.

There’s something so marine/clean/citrus-salty about this release that really speaks to me. Yes, 90% similar to the EDP, but definitely a touch different and better. Kinda strikes a cord in the D&G light blue line but still in the family of YSL myslf. Imagine if light blue and myslf had a baby, that’s what I get. On my skin, it last easily 6-7hrs, longer than what the EDP performed. If you have the OG, I don’t think you need to run out and get this but if you run out, this is your next purchase. It works well when layering with the other myslf flankers if you’re wanting to make a stronger scent bubble, but you could easily wear this alone. A true workhorse.

Absolutely amazing fragrance, somewhere between a the original MYSLF EdP and a masculine leaning skin scent type fragrance. My favorite of the line so far and a wonderful fragrance for those who don’t like the super strong and overbearing scents that is rampant nowadays. Fresh and uplifting blast of Bergamot and the slightly sweet but white floral Orange Blossom in the opening and slow on dries down into a super clean musk and slight patchouli base with the orange blossom still present but in the background. The base lasts a good while on my skin, 8-10 hours or so, but after the first few (maybe 3-4) hours it doesn’t project much.

This is one of those fragrances that doesn’t wow you on the first spray. You’re just like, “Yeah, that’s nice.” But the more you wear it, the more it becomes part of you. You start reaching for it without even thinking. It reminds me of Byredo and classic Prada-style fragrances. What’s funny is that I rarely get unsolicited compliments from my wife on fragrances, but with this one she randomly told me, “Wow, you smell really, really clean.” As of 6/7/2026, I’m pretty sure it’s still sitting below 4 stars. Mark my words: give people time to actually wear it, and it’ll end up well above 4. This one’s a grower.

This is my favorite version of them all. I love this and love the Le Parfum. This is the everyday, and the Le Parfum is the special occasion/night time/ cold weather pick. This one wins for versatility. I like it more than the OG because I love the cleanliness it imparts. I do understand the high quality grape laundry detergent vibes 100%. I agree. I dislike L'absolu. I dont really get the hype with that one, at least not on MY skin. If I had to pick ONLY one, this would be it. This one's overall rating will go up in time.

This is the original Myslf EDP mixed with something like Jimmy Choo Man Ice...and I absolutely love it. This is a great warm weather and office fragrance and my second favorite in the line behind the Le Parfum version. Crisp & bright citrus hits immediately on the opening followed by the signature orange blossom which has been softened perfectly then landing in a smooth musk that smells like fresh laundry/clean skin. The scent is balanced very well, but I do wish that the opening hung around for a little longer.

If you have the EDP do not bother this does the same exact thing nearly, theres a little more brightness in this DNA compared to the EDP but not much, that being said is do enjoy this more than the OG, it smells like clean laundry is the simplest way to put it, but for an EDT man this sticks around, it last longer than most of my EDPs and some of my parfums if this is your first myslf it is a great choice! But id say its not worth it if you have the other flankers or the og

I really like this. I'm on the fence about getting it because it does tend to lean a bit feminine for my taste. It smells so good and familiar I just kept smelling it trying to figure out what it reminds me of. First I was thinking maybe one of the Armani Codes, but then I realized in the drydown it has similarities to one of my absolute favorites: gentle fluidity silver. No I'm not crazy.

I honestly don’t get the hate. It’s a really good release and I like it better than the original. A stronger but more fresher and less woody is very impressive. It is a little redundant but I prefer it over the original and it definitely projects a bit better than the edp. IMO my favorite in the line.

Love it. Have every one in the line. Absolu is my favorite, and this takes the number two spot now. I like it better than the EDT, very fresh and keeps just the right amount of sweetness. 9/10, will be in heavy rotation the rest of this summer and fall, maybe even some winter daytimes!

Smells like MYSLF but different. Starts with bergamot, then has more sweeter finish than the grapefruit darkness that MYSLF EDP had. I agree with the commenter below me, it smells like a luxury shower gel then turns into a skin scent. MYSLF EDP and MYSLF Le Parfum lasted all day.

Imo, this is the best version of MYSLF. I used to think the original EDP was the best, but this surpasses it for me. It's the same DNA but more masculine and a bit more complex. Also suitable all year-round, whereas the original EDP is just too sweet and floral. 7/10
