I kept seeing the hype around the MYSLF line from Yves Saint Laurent and, honestly, I didn’t get it at first. I went out multiple times, saw the displays front and center, gave them chances off the cap, off the neck, even quick sprays on testers—and nothing really clicked. It all felt a bit underwhelming. That changed the day before my oldest’s 24th birthday. I went out again and decided to actually wear all three on skin and give them a proper chance. That’s when everything shifted. The Eau de Parfum was the first to click. It’s not groundbreaking, but there’s something incredibly comforting about it. The way the citrus and orange blossom come through on my skin feels bright, clean, and uplifting. It genuinely gave me this sense of calm and positivity—almost like a subtle aromatherapy effect. I ended up ordering the largest bottle for in-store pickup and grabbed it the next day on her birthday. At that point, I still wasn’t sold on the others. Le Parfum initially came across overly sweet—almost like a cola float or bottle cap candy. The Absolu smelled decent, but it didn’t stand out enough to me at the time. However, with my pickup, I received 7.5ml dabbers of both the Le Parfum and Absolu. After spending more time with them—and actually wearing them instead of just testing—I started to understand the line on a completely different level. Absolu began to reveal more depth and character. It feels richer, more nuanced, and carries a slightly more sultry edge while still staying true to that MYSLF DNA. Then came the biggest surprise: Le Parfum. I revisited it on skin, and everything changed. What once felt overly sweet smoothed out into something warm, slightly vanillic, and incredibly addictive. The performance sealed it for me—I could still faintly smell it on my skin 24 hours later. The one I originally liked the least became the one I couldn’t stop thinking about. I ended up ordering a 100ml shortly after. At this point, I now own all three—and I genuinely don’t find them redundant. They share a common identity, but each one serves its own purpose. The Eau de Parfum is bright, easy, and uplifting. Absolu brings depth, character, and a more refined edge. Le Parfum delivers warmth, richness, and impressive longevity. This is not a line that shines on first impression. It’s one you have to wear, sit with, and let develop. Skin chemistry plays a huge role, and that will ultimately determine whether it resonates with you. If I had to choose just one now, it would be Le Parfum—the one I originally thought I could live without the most. But here lies the secret: it carries the heavy, curated DNA of a private blend—that undeniable Tom Ford quality—but delivered without the ransom-note price tag. I love clean scents that last and MYSLF Le Parfum is exaclty that. The bottle is incredible - modern, clean, sleek and minimalistic. Its a matte black monolith on a shelf. One thing though is that it does gather fingerprints rather quickly, especially if they are greasy or sweaty, so wash your hands or sanitize before you touch this thing if you care about bottle aesthetics. The opening to it is actually quite fresh and a little spicy, i get some bergamot and pepper and this combo sits on the skin for maybe 10-20 mins - very pleasant opening. Then comes the orange blossom and it becomes dominant throughout. It starts to smell like luxury laundry detergent in the best way possible, with a hint of spiciness in the back, not being synthetic at all. The orange blossom becomes even more addictive once the vanilla starts to show up with some woodsy-ambery notes in the back to support it all, and its just so beautiful and elegant. It smells like a handsome man in a suit hanging fresh laundry for you. The projection is solid for the first 2 hours and afterwards its a nice bubble, you will get whiffs of it when you start moving around and people will notice too. I get around 5-7 hours on skin, then it becomes a very light clean second skin type of scent that lingers for around 2 more hours. On clothes it performs well too, up to a day in my experience. This WILL pull compliments and people love it. Its a sexy, almost seductive, smooth, fresh and super clean scent that's hard to hate on or offend someone with. This can easily be a signature pretty much year round - a lot of "dumb reach" potential - the type of scent to use if you just wanna smell nice and hygienic and leave an impression. Makes for a terrific date night scent too. Super clean and smooth - 8.5/10

Extremely smooth fragrance over all else, on paper it was a smooth floral with a base of wood. On my skin on the other hand, it's pretty clearly slightly sweet woody-ambery with a light lift from the florals. Yes, it isn't aggressively masculine as it lacks a lot of the more traditional 'masculine' notes, but it is smooth more than anything else, like it doesn't scream young guy masculine fragrance, more so something you'd imagine a well put together guy wearing with a suit. I'd also initially felt it was a bit feminine off the paper, but try to think of it in the context of who's wearing it, and I'd think you'd understand it can be pulled off well by either a man or a woman, though I do feel it's more masculine leaning. As with the myslf in general, it can work wearing it basically anywhere, though for this one I will say again, that smoothness really makes it stand out well for wearing in any professional environments. Do note however, definitely try to smell it on skin if you're planning on getting it. The smell I get off my skin is quite strongly woody over all else, so do see how it reacts with your skin chemistry as that may change how you feel about it for the better or worse. Longevity and silage are both just okay, projection is fairly strong initially for an hour or two, falls off to an average amount after that and stays stable there for a few hours after that before fading. As for the cost, it's REALLY expensive at full price for what it is, definitely worth buying if you can find it on a good discount though.

I won’t talk about the notes since they’ve been discussed enough already. What I can say is that it’s an elegant, sophisticated, and distinctive scent. It projects softly for the first 30 to 60 minutes, then settles beautifully onto the skin. It might be a bit too heavy for the summer season. Other than that, I think it can be worn in any season and in any setting.(except gym) This fragrance isn’t aggressive at all; it gives off a gentle, refined, and well-mannered vibe. I’ve always found YSL perfumes to be consistently well-made, and Myself Le Parfum is definitely one of those successes!

Woow what can i say. It is because of this product i fell in love with fragrances. Absolute great work, phenomenal scent, 100% worth blind buying. I got compliments from everyone who sensed it. Girl had a crush on me because of this scent. Definitely for Men. Not projection beast, not gonna fill the room or leave long scent after you walked. More of a close occasion, standing next to a person, more intimate. Will be a great Date night choice. Impossible to wear in a hot summer days, cause there is warmth and heaviness in it, but any other cold or breezy weather, jacket weather will be a target fragrance. For lovers of the look, i say the bottle looks stunning, very elegant luxurious, minimalist, simple. Matte colour looks and feel gorgeous, shining YSL logo middle shiny black is a killer. Definitely the best of the 3 for me. I spent all my bottle it is empty but i can not throw it away, it looks great and every time i go and smell it to remember the scent. Try it you will not regret it 😉

This is a beast. 9.5/10 Be warned, I am not a fragrance snob, I am simply a consumer. I first got the EDP 40 ml's blind, and then after I was thoroughly impressed by the scent, but disappointed by the longevity. So, I pulled the trigger on 150 ml refill of Le Parfum, complete blindbuy. I do not regret it. You put this on, and no matter the occasion, you smell like a sexbomb. As if you just put on a fresh set of clothes straight out of the washing machine, with the highest quality laundry detergent type scent. I love the orange blossom so much, it's so unisex-leaning-masculine. You smell like a guy whose got his s**t together. No other way to describe it. It's very performant for the first 2-3 hours, and then it's more of an intimate sillage. But, this lasts, this lasts so, so so well. My girlfriend can't stop smelling me, and I even get compliments from co-workers asking me what I'm wearing. It's THE safest fragrance possible. 100% blindbuy safe.

An absolute masterpiece, my favorite fragrance in my collection. Insanely sexy scent, pure essence of masculinity. I can see pretty much anyone wearing this, maybe except poorer people since it comes off quite rich and sensual. The profile is 100% floral-earthy. It opens with white florals, even though they’re not listed, that’s the best way to describe it. Those white florals stick around for most of the wear, but in the opening they transition into a softer version, still slightly sharp, but less aggressive. After around 4 hours, it shifts into a slightly earthy vibe, and in the very end you’re left with vanilla, mostly noticeable close to the skin. Works for literally any occasion, no exceptions. Projection is also very good, perfectly balanced, since it’s noticeable but not overwhelming. Longevity is insane, it lasts all day even in summer and is still detectable after that. In my opinion, there’s no better designer fragrance on the market.

The more and more i read fragrantica reviews the less i actually take them on board and listen to them. The amount of people who just purposely hate and write nonsense essentially because something isnt filled with leather and tobacco and 'masculine' notes. Like how sad have you gotta be to go on a rant about testosterone in men when reviewing a fragrance? This and the whole myself line are top tier, they wont be the most absoulute unique masterpieces you've ever smelt but EDP & parfum smell like a designer frag. It's clean, floral, one of the easiest grabs you'll find and it ticks boxes. You'll smell like laundry but with a sexier element, which is perfect for so many occasions. Its feminine yet masculine at the same time. A sold 8.5/10 fragrance. Worth £70-100? probably not but if you can get the EDP for 40 and this for 50 then you've got your moneys worth.

This is my absolute favourite designer fragrance of all time. It is good to wear year round, projects very well, and lasts for a good amount of time. the sillage is decent on it, definitely doesn't fill a room but it is enough to make the people walk by you wonder what you're wearing. The dry down is in my opinion one of the best things I've ever smelt, as the vanilla really shines which the other Myslf fragrances lack. If you have a girlfriend, this will almost definitely be one of her favourites for you to wear, because it is super mass appealing and is one of those "lean closer" scents. If I had to have one complaint it would be the price, as 200 bucks for a 100mL designer is pretty steep. If you're willing to spend the money you will more than likely be happy with your purchase. Definitely blind buy safe so long as you like sweet fragrances.

It's actually quite feminine smelling, but it kinda reminds me of nicotine and other addictive substances. The first time you try it its kinda meh... but then as you smell it some more it start to grow on you and you no longer dislike it. After a while you'll get hooked and frikin love it, its so addictive ! Then after a while you'll find yourself missing it after a few days wearing other stuff! Its so good, and its all down to the Orange Blossom! Brilliant and narcotic little flower! I've worn the heck out of the Myslf edp before I started out with this gem. Now they're equally cherished in my collection and they fill different needs. The Edp is a fresh white flower scent, and this is a warm and vanillic winter edition enveloped in a smooth and creamy orange blossom. This scent is 10/10 just like its older sister the edp. Mesmerizing stuff!

@benmullan20 You are 100% right about Fragrantica and what it's become. I mostly use it to keep track of my inventory. I don't use it for verification of reviews anymore. So many people spray a new fragrance a couple of times and come here and write a review. You can tell by their remarks that they have not let it develop for the day or more, have not tried it in different temperatures and/or have not let it macerate. So many of the reviews have absolutely NOTHING to do with the fragrance itself. I know it's hard to police all the reviews but some long time members should become moderators in order to do so... so we can have more accurate reviews of the fragrance. This fragrance is absolutely gorgeous. It's definitely unisex. Fragrances smell different on everyone. Wear what you love.

This is actually my favourite perfume, and my signature scent for quite a while. It performs well (good longevity up to 8-9Hrs, fairly good silage throughout), and it's actually really versatile for all seasons, all weather, all occasions. If you can only get one perfume in your life, get this. Easy compliment getter and very easy for wear. It gives me big confidence when I have to mingle with new friends or meet new clients at work, and give them an impression that I'm a bit more mature and reliable then I appear to be. Prominent orange blossoms, executed along with the black pepper that really gives a bit of spicy notes to the sweet and round vanilla. Doesn't cloy people in intense heat, suits the cold weather fairly well. It's just perfect. YSL nailed it.

This one has stuck with me for about a year and some change and this was the one that put YSL at my #1 designer house. This is best year round dumb reach that will have you smelling better than everyone in a given room, it's the best clean designer dryer sheet type of smell I've come across personally. I get a lot of the orange blossom and woods and it makes such a good soft masculine floral smell that is super easy to wear either dressed up or down and I don't think you'll offend anybody by wearing this, its not so loud that its intruding on others but its there and people will pick it up. Can't go wrong with this type of smell profile its for sure one of my favorite designers oat 8.5/10 ol reliable no matter what

Nice presentation, got it for a fair price (duty free $141 usd 100 ml), and I really enjoy the feeling. Smells elegant and romantic for sure, with quality sensation. From my small collecton (9 fragrances), I can find some similarities with PDM Layton. Different ingredients, similar notes. Now I understand why people say its addictive, such as Layton, I enjoy smelling it on my wrist. Solid one from YSL. Scent: 9/10 Interesting, versatile and addictive Longevity: 8.5/10 Good one, not crazy but enough Sillage: 8.5/10 Good for my needs (office primarily). i cant stop wearing this shit f***... and my girl absolutely loves it too. i don’t know whats happening, in high school and middle school i passionately hated YSL fragrances, yet now it is one of the best designer houses in my humble opinion, and this whole MYSLF line is full of MUST PURCHASES, and I have a shared collection of 200+ fragrances (50 for myself). this one is an easy dumb grab that you can put on any day and it is literally the perfect fragrance. wore this during summer nights, and anytime during the winter and fall. you’d be an idiot not to purchase this scent.

Le parfum is amazing, and it's actually more of a sweet vanilla/orange blossom base fragrance which i love, this stuff screams confidence in a bottle, amazing, all year rounder and all and all a signature scent worthy only big con is that it's wayyyy to overpriced for a designers. For me it's a good deal if you buy it for 80-90 euros/pounds but if 100+ nope when you can find so many fragrances with almost 90% the same quality as this. One of the best men's YSL fragrances you can get on the market right now and one of the best confident scents out there. Overall: 9/10.

After buying the EDP i wanted to check this. So in the opening the spicy side of pepper is present and alarming but in a soft way , then Jasmin go on , since that moment the base is shown. As the EDP stays with Patchouli Le Parfum has a very gourmande side by Vanilla and Amber , its so sensual and intimate and stays on skin. So Le Parfum is the a perfect version of the OG , reserved for those who like a mature and classy opening , its better for Fall/Winter. For now i wanna enjoy the fresh citrus EDP for Spring/Summer i just ordered it then sure i will buy this one.

This is amazing! I'm very new to the fragrance world so I'm far from an expert but this smells so nice to me. It's very versatile, I can see myself (ironic) wearing this in fall, winter, spring and maybe on a cooler summer night. Definitely staple worthy for me and could be my go to for a long time. It isn't the loudest fragrance if you spray a normal amount but it lasts for a good while, around 5-6 hours. The first fragrance that I've bought and I don't regret it at all, can easily see myself grabbing more bottles of this and the others in this line in the future.

The definition of perfection. This perfume embodies confidence, strength and elegance. It smells like orange blossom with a hint of sweetness and spice, the best way to describe this scent is newly washed linens, it’s clean and beautifully strong. It’s not showergelly clean though, compared to the EDT, this one is strong and definitely takes precedence in a room. The performance is good but longevity wise it’s like 5 h but with strong silage and projection. I would absolutely recommend this perfume specifically to people who are confident yet gentle.

The gate keeping on this scent is crazy. The prettiest smartest women I know love this scent. This is the only scent my hot cute petite asian partner ever wants me wearing. I feel like the chad i am (6'4 22 inch arms, and can deadlift 600+) whenever i spray this on. Here's some free game. 8 inches away, one on each wrist, one on chest under your shirt where your pecs meet, and one on the back on your neck. if it's under 80 and you dont do anything that makes you sweat you'll smell good for a solid 6 hours with this bad boy.

This my second review of this. It hits me every time I spray it on. This fragrance remind me of my travels in Europe last Winter Ireland, England and Germany, and get this: I didn't even wear it when I was there, but I did smell it at a Sephora in Galway, and really regretted not bringing it with me. Its as if my entire time in Europe I was longing for this. Like it was just meant to be with me. Elegant. Romantic. Sexy. Long lasting. Compliment getting. When a fragrance can transport you somewhere, its special.

I bought a bunch of bottles off facebook marketplace and this came in the bundle, so I had zero expectations but this has ended up being my favorite scent out of my 40+ bottles. It's so good, it may be the only time I'll buy a backup bottle just in case they change the formulation. It's a perfect dumb reach scent, good for any situation, the opening is much different than anything else I've smelled in a men's scent with the orange blossom (it's very floral) but I have come to love it.

The best from the line in my opinion. EDP - boring, yet works, smells good, you can't deny that. L'Absolu - better, a little spicier and more floral, but still smells too much like my clothes' fabric softener. Le Parfum - darker due to patchouli vanilla and woods. Goes a little deeper than the others, sweeter, long lasting and has a little bit of character. Still, 8/10 overall because it projects nicely, lasts a long time and, as every MYSLF, it's a no brainer that you can't dislike.

Definitely a strong scent no denying that, smells fantastic. Does wonders in the scent trail/sillage department. The pepper, white florals, vanilla, and orange in the background are blended beautifully. Works in any season or occasion honestly Reminded me heavily of Versace the Dreamer, and Gucci Guilty Elixir due to the prominent white floral notes, although being different in their own way. Another 10/10 mass appealing release by YSL. Highly recommend this one. Bravo.

Love the YSL Myself. It has a very strong opening, but the dry-down is pure magic. I’ve gotten so many compliments from this cologne that I’ve lost count. It leaves a subtle trail and never comes off too strong. I do wish the longevity were better - after about 5–6 hours, I can barely smell it on my skin. It’s perfect for casual wear, but it also fits professional settings like work, meetings, and even weddings. For me, this is the clear winner in the Myself collection.

YSL Myslf Le Parfum is a rich orange blossom fragrance that is enriched with vanilla. There's an opening of black pepper that I don't quite get to my nose but maybe it's just there to make the floral notes pop a bit more. This is an easy to wear dumb reach fragrance that can be dressed up or down and will make you feel appropriately scented for any and all occasions. Perfumed by a star studded Givaudan cast of Daniela Andrier, Christophe Raynaud, and Antoine Maisondieu.

really light creamy opening with a spicy nuance.. I get the fresh floral orange blossom along with the vanilla and amber. Very nice fragrance, could be seen as feminine. It’s sweet but not thick, it’s a sweet fresh as it’s very light in the air and on the skin. Very clean smelling, extremely versatile as this could be worn at any occasion in any season. Fresh enough for warm weather, sweet enough for cool weather.

this is just a masterpiece. ive never owned msylf eau de parfum, and I probably never will, this is just such a gorgeous scent, and this is someone who was initially sceptical about purchasing it. the second i smelt it instore I knew it would be a complete hit. I can comfortably say this is a swiss army knife frag. id say it smells slightly better than imagination

The opening is definitely floral and soapy, with the vanilla and woody notes almost non existent. but after about 30mins-1hr the florals dial back a good amount and the soapiness becomes unnoticed with the vanilla and woody notes finally starting to show. this fragrance evolves beautifully and I definitely enjoy the dry down a lot more than the opening.

Friend bought this fragrance, bought it over and I got to wear it for a few days. (yes I broke the one of the unspoken fragrance rules) And it's worth it. For what me and him have seen, it generally lasts a long time (+6hrs) AND projection even on clothes is already pretty good plus it smells really great. Very clean & versatile fragrance.

Second most complimented fragrance after ysl y edp, safe laundry orange blossom scent, masculine but unisex, when there is a room full of people you are the star, got multiple compliments a bunch of times from people at the same time, literally someone walked in the room, and said very loudly, hey someone smells really good who is it?

The beauty of white floral on this thing is INSANE. It feels like going to a garden with newly sprouting flowers in the spring season with your lover (oh, and unisex fragrance imho). There's a slight similarity to Le Male but then it has a more soapy smell compared to this one. Absolutely goated fragrance sent from the heaven.

Creamy light vanilla spice with the same Orange Blossom note as the Heart. Could be a little femenine for some. I think this is unisex really, because of the sweetness. Altho i prefer the orange blossom paired with bergamot, this release is fantastic. Great for colder days. Love it. Really mass appealing, smells incredible.

A beautiful spin off to MYSLF EDP. This is part of a couple of samples I got at Dillard's. MYSLF was already good, but Yves Saint-Laurent made it even better by putting a tobacco note at the end to MYSLF, it almost smells like Y, but better. Grapefruit with musk at the end. Almost like Creed's Silver Mountain Water.

YSL really knows how to make amazing fragrances. This is a simple cologne done perfectly, no matter the time or occasion, it’s one of the easiest fragrances to wear. Super mass appealing, but still masculine. If you want a masculine scent that doesn’t smell like every 40 year old guy, this is perfect.

As someone who came to the myslf line after both this and the absolute are already available I think it's the ideal middle ground. Not as fresh as the EDP but not as sweet and woody as the absolute. This lasts a good 4 hours on my skin and projects very well. My be my my new signature/go to

Very classy, clean, and sexy scent. This fragrance is very well put together like the person I imagine wearing this would be. I think it could go either way for men or women, but is a little more masculine leaning (at least on my skin). If a guy smelled like this I would go crazy.

Hands down the best one out of the Myslf line. Orange blossom, and vanilla just hits different. And don’t let the vanilla deceive you, it’s still a versatile, daily, dumb reach banger! And it’s not heavy and thickly sweet at all. Versatile 8.5/10 fragrance

Interesting fragrance, not good to my nose, weird smell, but all I have gotten was good comments about it, very unexpected as they were veeery positive. Very versatile too, but use with long sleeves at least because it may come as a warmer smell to some.

It just smells good. I especially like that it's a freshie that is neither blue nor citrus heavy. This can be worn in all climates, seasons, day or night. Great daily driver for all occasions. It's very subtle and light so you can go heavy on the sprays.

After smelling both this and the l'absolu in the shop my wife loved the le parfum even though I preferred the other one. I gave it chance and it wears lovely on my skin. The Black Pepper opening into the Blossom is really nice. Im glad I got this one.

Just when I thought YSL Y EDP smelled great, then this showed up. For me, this one of three 10/10 fragrances. Incredibly clean, fresh without citrus, you can smell every note and the dry down is just wow. Super expensive, definitely a bit overpriced.

I currently have 50+ fragrances, had maybe 300+ before, but out of all fragrances, I always reach for this one, although I realise the others are more complex, more distinguished, niche etc. How did they pull this on me? It’s a mystery for me...

Ignore the nerds and niche dweebs, this is a beautiful fragrance and a consistent compliment puller. I've never had anyone say this smells bad. It is a little expensive, but from a discounter I would say its a much easier buy.

I wore this fragrance the day I proposed to the woman I loved. It is forever engraved in my memory as the scent of rejection, so I will never wear it again. I’ll keep it as a reminder of what could have been.

This is by far my favorite designer fragrance. It’s extremely versatile because it’s strong enough to wear in the winter and not overly cloying so you can rock it in the summer.
