Paris Premieres Roses 2016

it's lovely!it is a sweet and delicate rose that lingers for at least 6 hours and porjects within arm's length. generally i am not really into florals but i do love rose. and this one manages to be be sweet and fresh, noticeable but not overpowering so i believe i have found my summer rose perfume

Lovely fresh sweet feminine scent! makes me feel joyful, optimistic and visionary. This is younger sister of Paris. I think this is office-safe but use a light hand, one spritz goes a long way. This is especially a spring scent, but I wear it everyday...

This is a beautiful rose perfume. Lovely, lovely, deep red velvety roses, the kind you just want to stick your face into and sniff and just keep sniffing forever! It's superb. And so is the bottle!! Fabulous!!! Absolutely fabulous.

Lovely lovely fragance! Sophisticated,soft and elegant! I was lucky enough to find it at a bargain price!

22. April 2016 Have it on my wrist for several hours and here is what i have to say:it's the "premiere roses" we all know, but somehow to my nose it smells more dilluted than, for example a last year edition. I can't get rid of impression that there is watermelon note in there, though it is not listed. Not smelling any sandalwood or neroli or powder but this is just lovely. Delicate rose/violet mix of notes with LOTV and hint of musky peony. But very much dilluted. I like it as all the rest of "premier roses", but the bottle is actually not looking good in real life and not suitable for this fragrance at all. Will probably skip this edition and buy a previous one instead. UPDATE: After many times of testing i came to conclusion that this is not as good as previous ones and i still can ́t get over the bit chemical smelling opening and weak composition in general. So yes, will not be getting it.

2021 and still no word on a new Premieres Roses edition? Since people seemed to take issue with this 2016 bottle design I've been curious to see what kind of a beauty they'll release next. But five years on and no new editions... I'm in the minority that I don't actually mind this design, but my favourite would've been the one from 2015 which I regrettably missed out on. As for the scent itself, it's a treat! A tad sharp at first, but not as a negative, more in an energizing way. First signs of spring and I spritz this on immediately. I cannot wear the original Paris myself, but the Premieres Roses line works well with my picky chemistry. I also find this scent to be quite unique, so it's a shame they've not been releasing new editions.

I bought this from a local flea market today, 125 ml for 20 €, the bottle was almost full, but no package. First of all, the bottle looks nice on pictures, but it`s dirt cheap looking in nature. In fact, I had to check it out from Fragrantica whether it`s a fake or not. I wasn`t sure that YSL would ever make such an ugly bottle. Well, when it comes to scent itself, it`s charming and beautiful. Big, loud red roses, but I can smell lily of the valley, peony and lime too. Very fresh and natural. Lasting power is around 5-6 hours with a medium sillage. Very likable and nice for spring and summer. I think still that I will start using it right away in Finland winter temperatures, for a nice kind of spring spirit. :) Compared to the original this is fresher, rosier and more modern, but you can still get the Paris vibe on it.

I like this one and out of all the flankers this one reminds me of the 1980's version of Paris. It has some of that high zing at the top that was so wonderful about the very first toilette. I get that rose/violet/musk trio upfront and that lasts forever on me. Then a nice softer version later on. All and All I think they did good on this one and I will probably get a bottle.

This smells nice enough, but nothing groundbreaking really, soft sweet musky rose, classy, it gets powdery real fast on me..I dont know, happy to try it, nothing I need to get ! I love the bottle, but the scent is a like for me, but barely..it is light, disappears real fast.. I guess too many flankers in the end!?

I tried this fragrance today when I visited the YSL counter. It has a very pretty smell, almost to pretty and quickly change to a very powdery smell on me which I did not like. I love the original Paris which I have and fortunately that seems to love me, so I will stay with my favourite.

Oh, these are real roses! Not pink roses, but those dark red roses with velvet petals, that you rarely see anymore only in some gardens in the countryside. In the drydown, it becomes more powdery and reminds me of the original Paris. Definetely a must have for spring-summer!

It's at Macy's in Herald Square. It's a straightforward sweet rose - nothing offensive but nothing exciting either. Seems timid compared to the original. Maybe a touch more sophisticated than the average fruity floral. The bottle is a bit unfortunate.

This scent is an abundance of sweet roses. Softer than the original Paris, but very pretty and discreet. The bergamot note is totally "there", and gives it an underlying citrusy appeal. Roses and citrus. Nice intriguing combo.

It is a lovely rose scent, but only last 2-3 hours on me. I wish it would of last longer.

How i wish to try it. I'm a huge rose fragrances fan especially Paris...

I absolutely love and adore this bottle and I want it now!

Seriously YSL, what a cheap looking bottle !!
