Dis-Lui Extreme

#853 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Can a $12 EDP really be worth owning? Turns out the answer is an emphatic yes! The lemon grass note takes this very close to the discontinued Louis Vuitton "Cactus Garden" I had five years ago. Used it all up and then it was gone (dammit). Seems to happen a lot to fragrances I love. I recently discovered History Parfums "Mexican Cactus" which was sort of close, and a great scent, but not as good as the Louis Vuitton. Anyway this is a nice grassy. Reminds me of the desert around Ft. Irwin and that desert vegetation smell you only get just before sunrise before the heat bakes it out of the atmosphere. For me it's an intoxicating scent, but I hate the heat, or I'd be that old guy in an undershirt, living in the middle of the desert in a single-wide trailer, always on alert for kidnappers from outer space. This fragrance is grassy, citrusy and sweet. Makes it to lunch, projects for a couple of hours. Great performance for a scent that cost the little I paid for this. Car pool, elevator and small office safe. Casual wear. Even date wear. Vuitton "Cactus Garden" was so expensive I didn't get backup bottles. Given the price of this, I'm ordering a half dozen. I'm also giving the Sport version a go though it isn't in the database here, and I'm going to check out more of the other YZY scents just to see if there are any more gems like this out there. I've loved more than a few of the Reyane Tradition scents YZY also owns. It's not that this a mind blowing scent, but it definitely punches well above its weight class. If you have limited money to spend on scents, this one's an option you should exercise.

On the Amazon website they say that this is the Yeezy Brand cologne from Kanye West. This fragrance smells more expensive than what it is.When I first sprayed it, it punches me right in the nose, you get a Freshly citrus Blue + Green type of smell at first. Then after 10 or 15 minutes the base smells like the creaminess of Chanel Bleu mix with Versace Pour Homme. It’s beastly I get 10 to 12 hrs on skin and lasts days on clothes. So to cut it short a creamier Versace pour homme. 80% VPH & 20% Chanel Bleu edt.So on dry down you get 90% Blue and 10% Sweet woody base. This fragrance has a very good quality to it.8/10 for what it does with longevity and price.

Dis Luis Extreme is a reliable blue fragrance with a great dollar cost for your pocket. A fresh 8/10 out of the box and delivers soft and creamy middle notes. Definitely a great and inoffensive choice for school, the office, or anywhere you'd like to smell nice and subtle. Projection is moderate with about 4-5 hours. I bought 3 bottles, set one in my gym bag, and get moving. In my opinion, this cologne is blind buy worthy, cost effective, and a pleasantly surprising blue fragrance. Not bad for the summer. Not a bad choice, at all.

I just got this in a few days ago. I find it inoffensive, like a mash up of the popular blue fragrances. Pleasant, office safe, and super cheap. Cost me $8 for 100 ml. Anytime, anywhere, any season, any reason. It is a good not great fragrance but given the price, a fantastic value. I’d consider this a steal at this price. So glad I stumbled on to this house. In the same haul, I got Desire, Prive, and Dis Lui. Desire smells like Eros, Prive supposed to smell like a CH frag (I don’t have a point of reference) and Dis Lui is a citrus scent. All were less than $10, very wearable, and great values. All were about 4 hours performance, about 45 min to an hour of just under an arms length projection. People will walk by and think you smell pleasant. EDIT: I think that this is trying to clone Carolina Herrera's Bad Boy or one of its flankers. I am wearing Bad Boy today and immediately thought about Dis Lui!

It’s not a bad nor mind blowing scent. I get some freshness, mint, herbal, fruits & citruses. Projection is moderate, but the longevity is great for the price. I wore this at the office. 7 sprays and it was decent. For the 1st to about the 2nd and a half hour it was really pushing of my skin and clothing . Around the 3rd hour mark, it sat closer to the skin and clothing. However, it was not yet a skin scent that wasn’t noticeable. At the 4 hour mark it was a skin scent without doubt. You can reapply this after 3 to 4 hours. For the price, reapplying is just ok...its pretty cheap and reapplying won’t be an issue. The silage is decent. If you’re working in a air conditioning room, you’ll be ok. It’s not something that’s punching people in the nose or offensive. - [ ] Scent -> 5/10 - [ ] Silage -> 6/10 - [ ] Price value -> 9/10 - [ ] Projection -> 6/10
