Girls Can Say Anything

I am really loving this even more so than Girls Can Do Anything. Btw they don’t really remind me of each other, well maybe slightly, but I would have to do a side by side. I am going to take some words from the pros list, this is happy, velvety, playful, sweet and uplifting. I really like the iris in GCSA. At first I swore I smelled rose, but maybe I was mistaken. I am not big on florals, but I think this is really nice. This is unique. I have over a 100 perfumes, but none remind me of this. GCDA reminds me of at least 3 perfumes I have or have smelled. This is signature worthy and would make a great office scent. Especially for spring and summer. I can really see someone who is a nurse or teacher wearing this as well. I find it comforting and safe. Another discontinued gem. Edit: I’m confused by the smells like and comparisons too. Blonde, Alien and Black Opium? I don’t think so. Those are heavy, this is light, airy floral. Maybe people are mixing it up with Girls Can Be Crazy? I haven’t smelled that. This is kind of similar to Girls Can Do Anything, but that’s the only one I can think of. Edit again: I was debating on getting another bottle because I only have a small bottle. But then I realized this is familiar and it is because it smells almost exactly like Missoni edt and go figure, another Bosch creation. I have a pretty good size bottle of that, that I got on clearance at Ross a couple years ago. This is maybe a little more powdery and a tad deeper, but it seems like Missoni is easier to find and cheaper so if I need to reup, that’s what I will purchase.

I just purchased this for a very low price. Having never tried anything from the brand I really had no idea what to expect. I am also not a huge fan of peony...but I like this. It’s such an easy perfume to wear. It hits a lot of the things that I enjoy (soft, musky, powdery) and has a soft sweetness that isn’t in your face. It’s very fluffy and I am not having trouble wearing it in the heat. I look forward to wearing it in the colder months...I think it will feel like a cloud of a comforting hug around you. It’s pretty linear as it doesn’t change much from the first spray until it fades away. Decent longevity with fairly personal wear ...it stays pretty close. I will say this is blended incredibly well...I can’t pick out many of the notes. It’s really a perfume about the combination of them all. Soft, warm, sweet, fluffy semi-sweet floral with a tiny vein of green. So am I wowed ...no. Am I happy to own it ...yes * but for the price I paid and not much more. (I see a lot of comparison to Black Opium which I do not care for and smells of an overly sweet synthetic mess to my nose. This is so not that imho. Also whoever said this remind them of Mugler Alien...you are WILD! ) ETA: the iris and tonka do their thing here. It’s not powdered in a baby / cosmetic powder way. If you are opposed to that.) **UPDATE: after a couple months this is now an absolute LOVE for me. It’s the perfect easy reach. I actually bought a back up bottle which I am not usually one to do.

Z&V just launched this one this month and I am loving it! I loved the edginess of Z&V Girls can do anything and I got a little sample at the store yesterday of "Girls can SAY anything". This perfume is sweetness with a rocky edge. First you get a lot of the peony, but the tonka and vanilla predominate the notes. The musk is quite present mostly at the dry down. I am a total sweet tooth when it comes to perfumes, this fragrance to me qualifies as a gourmand-fougere... although we have floral notes it is as sweet as candy. Yes it does reminds me a bit of Ariana's Sweet like Candy... my daughter's favorite. It has some edginess like Olympea does, but it is not salty and I don't smell any strong amber notes. When you walk around with this people will turn their heads, this fragrance can be quite overwhelming and so sweet it may offend some. So be kind with it. I think is a great perfume for a younger woman in her 20's, but I feel it is so femenine that I believe a 40 year old can get away with :) I personally absolutely love it! If you like sweet like YSL Black Opium you are on the right track here! No coffee notes but quite similar smell categories.

I do a lot of blind buys where i only read the description on here and decide if I'm going to like it or not. I purchased this one randomly at some clearance sale after being able to test it. Wow. This was a love at first spray. I would have NEVER bought this one after reading the description and components. It doesn't sound like i would like this one at all. But i do. I love it. It's playful, uplifting, sweet but doesn't make you nauseous. It has this gorgeous peony smell and a fresh kick to it. At the begging it smells slightly too musky, woodsy to me but the dry down is honestly just too good. The subtle tonka bean and vanilla that come out about an hour later are heavenly. This is the kind of scent that makes me feel comfortable, happy, confident, lifts me up and helps me get through the bad days. It's interestingly also the only scent that i always get compliments for, despite many reviews stating that it's extremely bland and unremarkable. It truly seems to be working for me. Maybe it's my skin chemistry that embraces this one so nicely. Of course the longevity could be better but for the price (it's often on sale) it's totally okay.

I got a mini sample of this and I love it!! its sweet but not overly sweet like candy, its feminine without being too girly. it just smells so nice and has a happy vibe to me. the longevity and strength is great too, strong but not overwhelming. I find the scent to be confident without being loud and sharp or heavy. its nice and smooth smelling , like everything is blended well. the name of the perfume suits it quite well I think, its feminine with a hint of sweet girliness and a little bit of edginess. But I also think this perfume is for grown women too the smell lasts all day and I just feel good when I smell it. I really like it right now during winter. its feels a little comforting for me for some reason. in the way a warm apple pie in winter comforts you this perfume has the same affect for me personally
