This Is Her! Undressed

Beautiful scent! I first had a go on this in Europe when I was given a sample at a perfume shop. I fell in love and at the moment did not buy it which frustrated me...once I got back to US I searched high and low and finally found it on a Canadian website! This is a beautiful musky orange blossom scent which leans towards a feminine side to it. Lasting power is ok about 4 to 5 hours on my skin. It first comes woody orange blossom and then in drydown I get the ginger, salt and Ylang Ylang which I do love!! It definitely turns cozy woody and floral in the drydown! So unlike the OG but quite unique which I love! It’s a great spring scent even thou it is woody, almost comes out citrusy and I remember receiving it and saying I have to wear this more in spring and summer. Sillage is certainly different that anything on the market right now! Recommended 10/10 get your hands on it!

This Is Her! Undressed by Zadig & Voltaire was such a magical find for me ... one of those moments that felt totally meant to be. I’d been thinking about it for a while, and on our anniversary trip in Bodrum, while shopping at the mall, I suddenly spotted it. I was literally jumping with excitement! At that time, it wasn’t even available in India yet, so for me, it felt like discovering a hidden treasure. The scent itself? The epitome of soft girl energy. I'm kind of surprised by these negative reviews because I quite enjoy this fragrance. I always tried to find something like Givenchy L'Interdit because I love the ginger and the overall vibe of ginger lemonade (that's how it smells to me) but I have always found L'Interdit to be too intense, kind of cloying and too sweet - it was too much. So I have searched for similar fragrance and found this - it's exactly what I have been looking for. It's the vibe of L'Interdit without all of the stuff that I don't like about it. This is more fresh, softer, cleaner more airy, probably because of the salt note. And the dry down is really nice and cozy with a hint of freshness from the ginger and salt. It's really good spring and Sumer fragrance for someone, who isn't a fan of florals in general. For me it's full bottle worthy.

This is really beautiful, and I absolutely dislike the original as the sandalwood is too strong and overpowering - however this flanker, adorable. It smells exactly like a sweeter Pure Poison immediately after spraying. I can detect some honey note, maybe it's just me but it has that rich, tangy honey from Kim Kardashian's Honey perfume - a real gem. It opens with the sandalwood but much creamier, musky, almost like a combination with the Narciso Rodriguez' For Her musk. It is THAT good. Then the honey comes in, with the slightly lactonic notes. I bought this after using some samples I could barely bring myself to touch as I was that afraid they'd smell like This Is Her which I utterly dislike. But this one, bam. Great flanker, great mix, a really wonderful fragrance that's very special. Chapeau.

Wow, I was looking for something new and for a perfume, that is not heavy and propriate for spring/summer season. This is so nice, original, yet reminding me something from past. I am so bored from all the vanilla fragrance like Prada Paradoxe, Libre Le parfum, Si... all the same shit same vein. This perfume start with with bittersweet combo of orange blossom and ginger fast forward with the salt and ylang assistance. Everyrhing calms down with the sandalwood/musk give freshness/benzoin a bit sweetness. It has such calming and clean effect. Might be signature scent.

My mother got a sample of this with an order but she did not like it so she gave it to me. And I love it sooo much. It is such a beautiful skin scent. It starts of with a citrus note and then dries down to a warm spicy scent that sits close to your skin. I got a full 50ml bottle and it is almost empty now so then I got a 100ml bottle because I know I'll use it up. It has become my signature scent and I have gotten compliments for it by work friends and a man I know that is as obsessed with perfumes as me. I am honestly confused why this perfume isn't well known.

Perfect if you want an uplifting, soft and feminine fragrance. It didn’t catch my attention at all at first because I had smelled on paper. Months later I gave it a try on my skin and I was amazingly surprised what it did on skin. I think this fragrance particularly, might dry down differently on different skins. To me it’s fresh clean, intimate with a creamy finish. If you love a perfume that stands out, but is welcoming and soft on the senses, This it it! Clean, Spring Summer scent and a pretty good longevity. I think this might become a signature.

You get out of the sea, your hair is still wet, you just changed yourself into your dry clothes but your skin still remembers the salty waters, and you have an ice tea on the way back from the beach. You open the window in the early morning, the sun has just risen, it's December and freezing, Christmas is coming, Winter break is approaching, and you have a cinnamon tea. This is what that perfume is to me, the most peaceful, soft, gentle moments of life, the ones you want to stay in forever.

I got this for my birthday, because of the similar notes to Prada Candy Kiss, which had sadly been discontinued and although the perfume doesn't have much in common with PCK, it has a similar sweet, musky and powdery quality to it. I can't stop smelling myself and even after a full day, the perfume still holds, albeit the scent isn't as strong as when first applied. It's lovely - clean but sexy, sweet but spicy. The price isn't outrageous either, so it's definitely worth it.

Sweet fresh spicy warm comforting but all mixed up in a pit to be subtle and suitable for summer and spring! Not a strong perfume, I smell sweetness musk and the ginger spice. So lovely! The sweetness is not as subtle as the spice which balances this perfume for me. It reminds me of hugging someone and feeling comfort immediately and they’re wearing a perfume that smells like this which just enhances the comfort!

This one reminds me of Jean Paul Gaultiers Classique. Maybe the ginger, ylang-ylang and musk notes. I can definitely feel the DNA of the original This is her and Vibes of Freedom. There is a creaminess here but not a chestnutty-whipcream way. This is a flowery fresh scent not a shower fresh one. Close to the skin with a lovely aura. Actually like this one! It is soft and unique in a good way!

I'm a little confused of the other reviews here and suprised not to find the tuberose among the notes! To me there is a very prominent bubble-gum-tuberose note like the one in L'Interdit rouge. I'm not familiar with how salt or skin notes is supposed to smell like, but this gives me a sweet, possibly gourmand vibe fit for a teen or young woman. It certainly has a uniqueness to it.

I live in a desert where the heat is relentless all year long, and I've been really enjoying this lately. It’s a lovely feminine fragrance perfect for summer and spring. The fresh, zesty notes of ginger and orange blossom are uplifting, refreshing, and clean—definitely not overwhelming in the heat. Plus, it’s very reasonably priced, so I can't be mad at her, Love!

I'm confused by the low rating. I find this gorgeous. I like the original "This Is Her" but I can't wear it because the lactonic note turns sour on my skin. This has the soft, inviting sexiness of the OG minus the milky note. Please do not get discouraged by the low rating on here and try it for yourself.

I tested this from sample and im loving it! It smells expensive, luxurious, fresh and warm at the same time, inviting, lotiony type of scent. I love the og and this seems like its summer version. The name is so on point, it feels kinda raw and nude, sparkly and intimate. I need to have this

Absolutely gorgeous scent.Musky ,with a touch of ginger and freshness from the orange blossom.Perfect for daytime especially during spring/summer.It's elegant ,unique ,fresh and slightly powdery.I finally found something that's not too sweet or fruity like the majority of the new releases.

This smells unique. I like it. Lovely, gingery and later on softer and smoother - I can also see the ylang-ylang. I would love smelling like this while wearing an all white outfit. Edit: THE DRYDOWN IS AMAZING! Wow.

my fave of all the “this is her” scents, and i i've tried them all. intoxicating salty and spicy fragrance, reminds me of a british bbq in a friendly neighbours garden? buying another bottle

Definitely this is one of the most amazing scents. I find this very sensual, and fresh. Nevertheless, after two hours or so the smell disappears. Gives me confidence during summertime.

It smells unique, fresh and clean but without the typical citrus notes. It makes me feel like i have my shit together and everything is going to be alright. It’s light but sensual.

this is like crack to me, smells a bit grandmaish on initial spray but after 5 min it settles down into the most beautiful powdery floral and intoxicating fragrance

This is a lovely warm comforting fragrance. suitable for anytime wear. If you like the original this is her then you would like this. It's a softer lighter version

Wore this yesterday afternoon into the evening, it is so delightful! Very feminine and fresh. Effervescent, slightly salty-and-spicy ginger dominates the first 30-40 minutes. Orange blossom appears during the dry down and settles into more of a creamy floral. The musk presents itself within the floral notes while retaining a fresh, and still somewhat salty, ‘ripe’ bouquet. Could possibly lean sour, would suggest testing this before buying a FB. To me this is VERY seductive. A bit animalic but not in an uncomfortable way, it is only ever-so slightly present and is subdued by the sandalwood. Sensual. Makes you want to slip into beautiful negligee. Quite an intimate scent with considerable longevity.. projection is within arm length at most, it is not particularly bold nor will it make a ‘statement’. It will, however, enchant you (and your lover). Very affordable, a cheat code to feeling ultra-fem and sexy.

I've had the opportunity to sample 5 Zadig & Voltaire fragrances for the first time and I found myself impressed with everything I smelt. Let me tell you about 'This is Her Undressed'. Of the 5 I tested, this ranked as my least favourite due to the powder detergent vibe from the orange blossom note that doesn't quite drizzle out even as it dries down, still I enjoy it. The fragrance opens up with orange blossom, ginger and salt and when you smell this I promise you that it will get better. Ylang ylang and musk soften those sharp notes and the fragrance becomes comforting in a sense and bright, with a sandalwood base. It reminds me in a sense of Capucci de capucci extreme. A like for the books.

You can feel the This is Her DNA in it, but faintly. It's a musky, woody scent, creamy, with salt and ginger when you spray it. The base is musky sandalwood, the animalic notes and leather are very mild in it, it's really more of a leathery accord, preserving a kind of saltiness. No chestnut and whipped cream. Overall, a pleasant, sweet, creamy comfort fragrance, a little more than that, so to speak. I think it's name suits to it. Thee price has been pushed a bit too high. The longevity is very poor, but the sillage is moderate-strong. To be honest I like it very much.

I’m not really sure how to describe this fragrance - it smells like "skin", but in the best possible way: a soft, warm, comforting scent. It’s like stepping out of a bubble bath, your skin clean and fragrant, yet slowly returning to its natural scent. There’s something sensual and intimate about it, while still feeling cozy. It’s not usually my style of fragrance, but I still found it very pleasant.

The blend of ginger ylang-ylang and salt makes this smell like some cheap soap... I actually like soapy fragrances, but this one is way to weird. Like the most basic white bar of soap.... It does kinda smells normal in the air, very musky, but I seriously struggle to smell it close. There’s probably the problem with me, cause I do struggle sometimes with salt note.

There is very little to say here: this smells like clean skin, after a shower. Not sweet, not powdery but also not too fresh, just clean skin which has been washed and scrubbed with soap and warm water. Undressed is a perfect name for it. It is very different from This is Her! which smells clean, but also lactonic and woody. This is absolutely perfect 🩷🛁🚿🫧🧼🧴🧺

This is the only Z&V perfume I like. It still has that kind of trademark smell they have (which for me is way too strong and annoying) but in this one it is softer, more powdery and likeable. It has a youthful and romantic vibe to it, definitely one of a kind. I like it but I wouldn't wear it everyday.

Has the same creaminess of the original, but without the woody notes. It is clean musky white floral and has indeed a warm female skin vibe, like the whiffs you would get sitting next to your girlfriend who's perfumed and her body is projecting the fragrance beautifully around her.

A nice scent, although it’s not in the notes it smells like soapy, neroli spicy scent. It reminds me of Guerlain Neroli Vetiver but a slightly muted version. A good everyday scent that’s a bit more unique than the other designer fragrances. IG/Tiktok: @wilddew_vibes

Fluffy ginger on light musky cloud. Very soft and beautiful fragrance. The projection is not so good but it might be due to soft notes. Definitely suitable for warmer weather and everyday wear where you don't want your perfume project or interact too much.

A different fragrance, spicy and salty, very fresh and clean. Lasts around 6 hours, it's noticeable but not too strong, definitely more of a spring or summer scent, makes me think of the salty air at the beach

I really love this. I love the original This is Her, but this is indeed like a softer version of it, perfect for daily wear. It's a pleasant and light cashmere-like scent, your skin but better.

I got strong Good Girl Gone Bad vibes from it Something curious, I'd give it a try once! UPD not long lasting, not to my taste (synthetic smell)

It’s lovely and quite complex. Longevity is okay (not the best). But i like the original “This is Her” a bit more, it’s more cozy and woody.

It smells floral and fresh but it is just too weak. No longevity or sillage even after 10 sprays. More like an eau de toilette tbh :/

This is very lovely. A well balanced, feminine, clean, slightly laundry, but still skin-like musk. I can sense the ylang-ylang, orange blossom, sandalwood, but in such minuscule amounts, they only add some warmth and soft sweetness, which are reminiscent of true skin. Also quite unique, has even niche quality and is different from what is usually on the mass market. Not similar to other This is Her versions. Some other clean musks for your attention and comparison, as I currently am testing few: Musc K by Ella K - synthetic, somewhat similar to Dove soap, truly reminiscent of unscented or cream-scented beauty products. Smells relaxed and effortless, even though obviously chemical. White by Puredistance - very creamy, rosy, powdery and extremely feminine. Most feminine out of all my mentions. Smells pearly and iridescent, like luxury beauty products. Noa by Cacharel - Angelic, ethereal, feminine, nostalgic, coffee is very noticeable at the beginning. Not creamy, but somewhat round and soft. Not like laundry, not like beauty products and not skin-like either. Wisteria Hysteria by CdG - deep, ambery, floral, unique, interesting, very laundry like. Musc Infini by Ex Nihilo - like a very toned down Musc Ravageur, a bit old school, slightly faceless, there is skin-like warmth, but too vanillic. Very baby powder when it dries down. Silver Musk by Nasomatto - clean, sterile, very sterile, almost like vodka sterile. Cold and least attractive. Most unisex. Musc Pallas - powdery, very unisex, slightly distant. Clair de Musc by Serge Lutens - most old school and vintage, very warm and very softly animalic. Similar to Iris Poudre by Frederic Malle. In comparison with all these, Undressed smells cosy, young, softly, not annoyingly sweet and care-free, doesn't smell shampoo-ish or like harsh detergents. It's very beautiful and has a good longevity too. It seems that maybe Nude by Costume National could be comparable, but this is less obviously floral, less creamy, more interesting.

My first introduction to Z&V. Upon first spray it seems a bit masculin, I smell spices, smells fresh. I definately smell synthetic ginger. Not long after I mostly smell a very soapy, synthetic flower. Almost iris, but not quite. Not tuberose to my nose. After a little while it becomes a skin scent, barely noticable. It has a synthetic screechy note in it. I wouldn't wear this. It gives me older lady vibes. Maybe I should try it on skin instead of clothing. Not my smell. Since projection isn't big, I think it's a safe work scent. U won't annoy others with it.

This fragrance gives me nostalgia but I do not know why. Perhaps it is the hint of 90s style fragrance I get similar to Amarige or Red Door. It also smells bit medicinal and will be headache inducing if applied heavily. However it is really something unique but not something I would call cute or sexy. It smells niche and a little bit artsy and somewhat weird. Not for me.

Musky and powdery scents tend to get "dusty" on me and this is no exception. Other than musk, orange blossom and maybe benzoin no notes are separately noticeable to me. It is a warm, cozy skin scent, very fitting name :) but for me way too powdery, it makes me uncomfortable, like my skin was too dry and itchy. But I can imagine it being nice on someone else.

The smell is very strange on my skin, sometimes I smell only musk, sometimes it’s mostly ginger and I love the ginger note so much but the drydown reminds me of Guidance Amouge which I absolutely hate as it smells like rotten fruit to me.

But then, the mood shifted. The orange blossom, once charming, took a sharp turn deeper into detergent-like territory, blooming into something that felt less skin, more inadequately rinsed laundered sheets. And as if summoned by this transformation, a bold, rubbery ylang ylang barged in. This was full-bodied, dizzying, and unrelenting—even worse—oh so synthetic. The contrast was jarring; what began as a whisper of human intimacy became an overpowering salt-immersed floral that clung like a fragrance gone rogue. A promising start undone by an unwelcome twist.

Rating: 😳🤕 Do I like it: Nah Who it is: an overly kind skincare consultant that haunts you around the store to make their sale Smells I get: white floral, salt, sweet, too sweet Meyer's Briggs type: ISFP, ESFP This is a strongly lactonically sweet perfume, and while projection is weak, it keeps going for 12h+ on me. The perfume opens with a lovely clean feel, emanating from bright ylang ylang and white florals, as well as something flowery sweet on top of the (allready sweet) original DNA. If the drydown - which is a salty, milky sweet stench - wasn't even more loudly sweet, I would probably like this. Updated: Caused me a migraine, so the sample is binned.

I thought I will love it as it has powdery notes and the description fits what I theoretically would enjoy. However, unfortunately it is way too "aunty" vibes for me. It is quite heavy and reminds me of older women that would hug you a bit too tightly when you were a child. A bit suffocating. Not for me. I think what I was looking for/hoping for it to be similar to Versace Bright Crystal Absolu but it really isn't..

I enjoyed this fragrance a lot after smelling it right from the tester strip. I was seriously considering purchasing it, but luckily I came back to a store to test it on my skin. Then the magic was gone... no more creamy, sensual scent with a fresh opening and cosy woody base - just a sharp & headache-inducing fragrance reminding me of a bathroom detergent. I do recommend testing it on a skin before purchasing.
