This is Him

***Update 1 Month later*** So, when Id initially received my bottle and sprayed some on my skin, the performance/longevity was pretty poor giving me just about 2 hours on skin. Now after Maturing for about a month its GREATLY improved as far as staying power, Projection and the actual scent has also improved over-all! Im getting a good 7 to 8 hours on skin with slightly above average projection. Its become smoother, just a tad sweeter and a tad more smokey which makes it even more "Masculine" and alluring. An excellent pick up, and I would say NOW is the time to grab a bottle, spray a bit out and let it mature a couple months so it's performing and smelling how its meant to when Fall/Winter arrives.Now, if anyone reading this HATES smokey fragrances, Id probably stay away from this one. The smokiness is NOT over-powering and is integrated very well, but uts definately present.. With a little bit of patience/maturation, Zadig & Voltaire's This is Him is an EEEASY 9 outta 10 Nathalie Lorson cteation in my book. I am (NOW) so so glad I got myself a bottle...A total blind-buy SCORE!😉🫠 ----------------------------------------------------- ***Original Review*** I LOOOVE that I can totally pick up on one of my ALL TIME FAVE perfumer's hand in Zadig & Voltaire's-This Is Him (Nathalie Lorson). A very unique, somewhat "Serious/Austere" fragrance, and honestly not what I was expecting, but even better bc of Lorson's "Signature Black Pepper note" which is done so differently from other perfumers (IMO). This scent rides the line of being ever so slightly Gormand, yet the intensity of the Inscence and Lorson's "dry" black pepper note keep's This is Him from being too playful. Its sexy, aloof, masculine and sorta mature yet most definately NOT dated or "Old Man-ish" (Which I also enjoy btw). This is NOT a "BeastMode" fragrance, and when Id first rec'd my bottle and sprayed some on my arm, I was NOT impressed with the performance bc it didn't seem to last more that a couple hours and sat pretty close to my skin. Im very glad to report that after introducing air into my bottle and letting it "Mature" for a couple weeks this fragrance's performance really has improved.. For an edt it does now have slightly above average performance as far as longevity goes clocking in at around 5 maybe 6 or so hours on skin with Moderate to intimate sillage, and ofcourse much longer on clothes. This may be on of THEE BEST "Date Night" fragrances in my 150+ bottle collection. An 8 outta 10 fragrance, but with more wears, it may just climb the ranks in my collection.. I’m not quite sure I’ve encountered a perfume like This is Him!. Have you seen the note pyramid? It makes zero sense; it shouldn’t work. Just like less-than-truly technical or well-trained rock musicians - sloppy guitar work, drums lazily behind the beat, a bassist chunking away at the strings in standard 1-m3-4-5 progressions, a singer slightly out of key - each part can still manage to come together to create a swaggering and infectious music track that makes you belt along out loud in the car. In the opening of This is Him! every accord is present and accounted for. Bracingly sour, oily zesty, and sulfurous grapefruit is the most quickly noticeable but you find ample amounts of black pepper, incense, and vanilla working in concert. Like a track fading to the ending, each accord departs in stages. The first to fade out is the grapefruit leaving the black pepper, incense, and vanilla to play on and carry the heart. The pepper is piquant with a waxy fruity and woody facet to it that black pepper should naturally have. It keeps the rather generic incense note alive and kicking; the incense is not allowed to meditate or hum a prayer in a temple, as it often smells like, instead the black pepper gives it a slightly grating, rhythmic drone. The vanilla is on the right side of sweet and gourmand, and provides hip-grinding swagger. Eventually they all calm down to a low din, with the pepper and incense ceding very easily to a peppery and aromatic cedar and the vanilla to a slightly-lactonic sandalwood. Assuming a strong structure and compositional handling, perfumes that smell very “natural” - whether they use natural materials or not - smell like jazz or classical music: everything is in the right place and at perfect tempo, with perfect timbre and pitch. This is Him! revels in synthetics that are rough around the edges and certainly aren’t handled like a piece of intricate classical music. Can you really call rock ’n roll “good music”? Like the Stones said, “I know it’s only rock ’n roll, but I like it.” Yeah, I really like this.

***Update 9/22/25*** Yo, ive had this bottle for just over two months and now THIS STUFF $$$LAPS! its gotten more potent and lasts WAY longer than it did initially. I did one spritz on my wrist and one on my shirt last night a couple hours before bed just so I could sniff on it for a bit and the fragrance is STILL quite present on my wrist this morning and my shirt smells like Id just sprayed it a couple hours ago or something! I have a few other "Insence Fragrances", but This is Him smells quite unique amongst them. It smells SOOO GOOD! The slight sweetness, and soft smokey-insence/black pepper smells amazing, and this scent can now be overwhelming if over- done after its fully Maturated. A (Rare) 9 outta 10 scent in my collection, and I rarely go over an 8 or 8.5 unless I thing a scent is STELLAR! To me this EASILY smells like something Serge Lutens would put out (which I own a few of) bc although it has a touch of sweetness, its quite "Austere" and "Mysterious." Very "Niche Like" if ya ask me. (IF) this has been reformulated, they've done an AMAZING job at keeping it Potent and BEAUTIFUL! Also imo although I think its more masculine leaning, it would be super sexy on a woman NO DOUBT! ----------------------------------------------------- ***initial review*** I dont get why folks are claiming that this smells like "Burt Plastc?" Or that its "Extremely sharp and heavy?" Im NOT getting that like AT ALL! Its a warm, somewhat "Austere", sweet but not too sweet, not obnoxious, slightly smokey-BOMB A$$ fragrance! All I can say is maybe let your bottle mature a bit and the fragrance should smooth out, although my bottle was never Sharp or "Too heavy" to begin with..

My Experience After Letting This Perfume Mature for 5 Months: When first purchased, the fragrance felt quite sharp and abrasive. After letting it mature for 5 months and revisiting it now, I was genuinely surprised by how much smoother and gentler it has become. Opening Notes: Bold black pepper takes center stage, subtly accented by a hint of bitter grapefruit peel with a faint tartness. If you don’t pay close attention, you might miss this fleeting citrus nuance. Heart Notes: Sweet, soft vanilla blends seamlessly with a warm smoky accord, creating a subtly creamy, gourmand sensation that feels perfectly balanced and alluring. Base Notes: Warm sandalwood anchors the dry-down. It’s clear that black pepper and sandalwood are the defining notes that shape the fragrance’s character throughout its development. Performance: The scent lasted about 6 hours on my skin. Projection was moderate in the first hour (around half an arm’s length), then settled into a soft, intimate skin scent. Overall Impression: Truly a fantastic fragrance! The balance of notes creates a composition that is smooth, incredibly pleasant, and deeply sophisticated. The Imagery: Every time I wear this scent, I envision a polished gentleman. He doesn’t need overtly luxurious clothes – just well-fitted trousers and a crisp shirt, radiating understated elegance. The fragrance evokes an image of a man who is courteous and strong on the outside, yet conceals a warm, gentle soul within. Final Thoughts: This is absolutely a fragrance worth experiencing. I'm probably in the minority as a woman who wears this perfume as a part of their weekly rotation, but for me this scent doesn't come off as overly masculine (many men's perfumes smell either very Axe-esque to me or have an almost suffocating smokiness to them that is just a bit too aggressive. Obviously this is not the case with all of them.) and moreso as a masculine-leaning unisex scent, but I understand it may read differently on other people's skin. I would like to note that the initial spray is very strong, however. I'm on my second full-size bottle of It's Him! mostly due to how well it pairs with other scents I own. Initially when spraying it on, I'm hit with strong incense and another harsh note I can't really place - perhaps the grapefruit (?) that I can't say I enjoy but at least on my skin, as it dries down and sits for a bit, the scent mellows out into a lovely spiced, woody scent with a depth of vanilla and a slight spritziness to it. There is a bit of sweetness to it as well, but it's not too prominent and just plays into the warmth of the scent. I usually choose whether to pair it with a gourmand scent that would lean into the vanilla and spiciness and amps up the sweetness, or to top it off with a more citrucy scent if I'm looking for a more fresh finish. I'd say this is suitable for anyone looking for a good base scent to possibly build on - or if you just want a finishing touch to your daily routine. This scent is not super strong, but it has potential to become a wonderful staple for many.

Man.. I thought the bottle and name seemed tacky so for (years?) now I paid this frag no mind. It wasn't until I saw it come up in some random "top 10" type video that I was reintroduced to the notes (primarily grapefruit, incense, and vanilla) and knew I had to try it. Instantly joined the pile of favorites of my collection. It is exactly grapefruit, incense, and vanilla. The blend is so well done, with the perfect amount of resinous smokiness added to the vanilla with the grapefruit in the back being an amazing supportive note to add overall depth. Its a very simple fragrance, and incredibly linear, but I can't get enough of it. It is also subtle; this stuff does not loudly announce itself like something such as Mercedes Club Black. Its similar in the way the resinous smokey vanilla is done in Black, though. Lasts AGES on clothes/bedding, and although its not a beast-mode performer it is a sleeper. You'll get random strong wiffs that remind you what you're wearing and you'll always appreciate them. Not offensive at all really. Quite tame, but just super comforting. Not much else on the market smells like this so Im very happy to have this in the collection and it will definitely be getting lots of use. Also, this seems much more versatile given its more subtle nature than most reviewers seem to be implying. Its just not loud or thick enough to be a "winter only" fragrance.

~This is Him By Zadig & Voltaire Review~ It opens with what I’d describe as an inky-incense note with a subtle pepper nuance. Shortly after an understated vanilla note emerges. Through the life span of this fragrance the vanilla gets more prominent as time goes on, the two main notes incense and vanilla take turns being the star, for the first 6 hours it’s definitely the incense that will grab attention, whilst the vanilla will creep in to form a lovely base. What I like about the vanilla note here is that it is not your typical gourmand sweet overbearing vanilla, rather it’s a pleasant and in no way an overbearing addition to the scent that adds a baseline to the fragrance which gets its depth from the incense. A true modern classic in my eyes, or rather nose. Every guy below 35 can easily pull this off, I’d say it is a bit more on the youthful side for sure. It is very versatile and can be worn in virtually any weather as long as it is not blisteringly hot outside. A modest sillage and amazing longevity, on skin 8 hours easily but on clothes it can last anywhere from 3 days to a week! If you get a good deal, which for this frag are not hard to find I would recommend it highly. Today someone asked me; “damn, what’s got you smelling so good?” This is your low key fragrance, you put it on and instantly you are in the zone.

I deleted my previous review after a bit of time with this fragrance. Opens with grapefruit and incense. Very tart and bitter. The vanilla takes some time to "warm up" on my skin before it comes into play. After it warms up, it adds some sweetness to the fruit. The vanilla doesn't become its own distinct note, rather it supports the grapefruit and gives texture to smoky incense. The grapefruit opening lasts 20-ish minutes and it's usually 10 minutes in when the vanilla comes online for me, so the overlap period is very brief. Once the grapefruit stops becoming a main player, the scent becomes mainly dusty incense complimented by sandalwood. This isn't a gourmand, but I'd describe the scent as "savory" at this point. This is what it stays as for the rest of its lifecycle. Date night, office, and casual all seem fine with this. Inoffensive. I don't like this in the heat, though. I don't think this goes well with sweat and sunlight in the same way that summertime aquatics and fresh florals might. The performance is not loud. I normally do four sprays with this; one on each shoulder and two on the chest. For comparison, I do two to three with Acqua di Gio Profumo.

One of my absolute favorites. This is a super smooth and quietly confident incense scent that's simply lovely. Appealing from start to finish, there's a peppery spice top note that quickly merges with a gentle sandalwood and vanilla. All the while, a beautiful incense weaves it's way through the mix. This isn't a sweet scent, but it is so well balanced and smooth that it's also never harsh. It doesn't project much, but the performance is still very good thanks to the long lasting incense and sandalwood that keep dancing together for hours to give off subtly alternating soft powdery vibes one minute and savory incense the next. This one works great at relatively close range, making it a great date night fragrance though I love it as an everyday signature scent. I'm a sucker for incense colognes and my favorite is Boss Bottled Elixir. This is that one's quieter sibling, just as handsome but content to make its presence known from the back of the room instead of front and center. If you like the incense genre, don't hesitate to pull the trigger on this one.

It opens very harsh. There is a strong, almost syntethic citrus note (I guess grapefruit), that lasts for 10 - 15 minutes. After that, the incense and vanilla notes start kicking in, with like a touch of woodsy note. The citrusy note stops being so prominent and it is there, but like in the back. The whole composition is dark and masculine, but for younger population. It's not really sweet, there is vanilla note, but I wouldn't call it a vanilla fragrance, and I don't really smell the black pepper note (it could be there, I just don't smell it). Sillage is not to big, people smell it from 1 - 1,5 meters for like 3-4h, after that it becomes more of a strong skin scent (it's there and people smell it from shorter distance), and for me thats a good thing because I use it for work as well as for going out. On my skin it stays for around 8-9h, but I can smell it on my clothes the other day. Overall for me this is a 10/10 fragrance that could easly be considered as a border-nische fragrance.

Smells nice, but synthetic. Reminds me of fresh sawdust mixed with a touch of vanilla. Pleasant, but not going to impress a lot of people. I'd say you get sandalwood, incense and vanilla with that kick from the pepper. The grapefruit is gone before it arrives to my nose. I can't pick it up at all. Although it claims it, I don't find anything "Rock & Roll" about it. It's a calming, pleasant scent. Sandalwood will Never smell Rock & Roll. For the price, you get what you'd expect. It's fine and it is a soothing scent. You'll probably be able to pick it up with a good discount too, at which it could be good value if you like it. I personally like the scent, but i've never worn it again after the first use. I spray it on a test strip and use it as a soothing airfreshener once in a while. I give it a 7/10. Can't argue with price or smell, but it's nothing special. It's absolutely a nice scent, but compared to the other fragrances in my rotation, it's just not good enough.

Love this fragrance, takes time to macerate, the first several uses the opening can come off unusual, but give it time, now my bottle has macerated the opening is beautiful, juicy grapefruit on a sweet smokey woody base that smells a little like wet rock with the grapefruit. Then the dry down comes and it is heavenly, smokey incense on a smooth but slightly powdery vanilla. The only draw back with Z&V This is Him! is the projection during the dry down, it stays around 1ft max then eventually becomes a skin scent. Scent 9/10, unique, clean and simple.. Longevity: 8 hours (longer on clothes) Projection: Good for the first 20 to 30 minutes, then 1ft for next 3 to 4 hours which after then becomes a skin scent for the remainder of life on skin. Tip: Projection is far better when sprayed on my shirt/T shirt, I get good silage & moderate projection for 4 hours off of my shirt/T shirt, try this for yourself.

Man, I know this is gonna sound weird, but sometimes the opening of this reminds me of Terre d'Hermes. The pepper and grapefruit is all they have in common note-wise, but somehow it makes me think of a dustier, vanillic TdH. With that out of the way, this is really good. It has vanilla, but somehow, it's not really sweet. It's dry, a bit powdery, dark and mysterious. The incense makes it feel a little smoky and adds to the darkness on top of the creamy sandalwood. Can definitely see the comparison to Benetton Colors Man Black. They're both pleasant, but, overall, I think I'd prefer this out of the two. The Benetton is more amiable, whereas this has a laid-back, nonchalant tone about it that I like. Since it's not sweet and doesn't project too much, you can wear it to the office, no problem. A good value in my book that would make a great mild to cool weather signature.

Sauvage made me fall out of love with black pepper as a note in perfumery. This fragrance, though, gave me hope that not all is lost. Here, the pepper acts more like a texture, adding a sharp metallic edge to the scent. At the same time, it’s blended very skillfully with vanilla and incense, so it feels smooth, subtle, and never too direct. After about an hour, the pepper disappears completely, leaving behind a slightly sweet smokiness. I can understand why some people describe this fragrance as rebellious. Personally though, it reminds me of New Year’s Eve and freshly extinguished sparklers. Performance is quite strong - it can easily last a full day on clothes. Projection is moderate: enough to get compliments, but without suffocating everyone around you.

Slow and steady hype on this one. Perhaps due to lack of availability? I first came by this 3 years ago at Dublin Airport. And not being very familiar with brand, I passed on the fragrance but was intrigued given I don't usually like Vanilla. Didn't stop thinking about it. Well I have it now and it is better than I remember. It nods to other classy scents like Azzaro pour Homme and Prada Amber Intense Homme though more inviting. This is magic and potentially a top 10 in my 100 bottle collection. The opening brightness mellows quickly and most of the performance is on clothing. I get sharp grapefruit balanced well against incense and kept soft through sandalwood and vanilla. A sincere Thank You to our perfumers for saying "No" to Tonka.

Goodness, am I drawn to this fragrance. Mostly for nostalgic purposes, too. If you’ve ever stepped into a house that has been freshly-thatched, leaving a woody hay-like aroma in the air . . . this is what I get from This is Him. And I love it! This fragrance opens fresh and aromatic, a grapefruit tang dissolving into peppery mint and the aforementioned thatchiness. This lingers during and long after an impressive dry-down that brings out a warm base of spicy resin and a beautiful smoky vanilla. The last note to linger is a delectable powdery earthiness. To me this is a masterful balance of aromatic and sweet, fresh and warm. There are no clashing notes to be found here, only a beautiful harmony of subtle accords.

Smoke. Pepper. Wood. Vanilla. Slight dash of grapefruit that doesn’t last long. Tbh, for $25 I thought I’d picked up a damaged bottle, a tester, or this was a pile of discontinued shite. Pleased to announce none of the aforementioned boxes were ticked. This is a belter of a frag. OK, it’s not a world class frag, but it’s bloody good. I keep smelling my wrist hoping to recall where I’ve smelled this before. There’s an element in here that’s taking me back somewhere. Way back. I can’t put my finger on it just now, but I will. Grab a bottle. It’s a fall/winter/spring pleaser. Thank me later. Still scratching my head at why someone would throw this away for $25. Thanks, OzSale.

I agree with @tobi-pez, This is Him smells NOTHING like PDM's Layton. I actually feel that Layton is way over-hyped tbh. I swear that perfumer was inspired by an old Avon fragrance called Mesmerize for men.. Aaanyways, (my bottle) of This is Him has gotten so much better over time! Smells more Nuanced and the performance is SOOO MUCH BETTER now lasting 8 to 9 hours on skin and forever on clothes. I very much highly recommend Zadig & Voltaire's-This Is Him! An easy 8 outta 10 withen the "Dark Gormand" genre! I love the Smokey Vanilla and Lorson's signature use of the Black Pepper note. She just gives her fragrance such an "Austere touch" with how she uses that note. Superb!

Really nice incense fragrance for more cold weather. Its really warm and spicy but at the same time sweet and cozy thanks to that wonderful vanilla. The pepper its prominent in the bigging warming your nose up for whats coming which is a really smooth vanilla sandalwood base covered in an incense smoke. To my nose and skin, the longevity is not good enough maybe 3-4hrs and projection its also poor(batch 2021 by Shiseido) .I would expect more and i find it as the only downside. Also it reminds me somehow the DNA of it, similarities with Armani Prive Bleu Turquoise (also form Aurelien Guichard) but without the salt in it. Its a safe blind buy for sure

This smells well balanced and classy. Largely a vanilla fragrance balanced with woody, sandalwood, and incense notes tying it together. The opening grapefruit is very short lived on my skin, the pepper does linger, but the main vanilla, woody and incense notes last a moderate amount of time (about 4 hours). A great winter fragrance. The vanilla note never gets cloying or too sweet, but gives a smooth creamy smell. I highly recommend this one for winter and autumn. It would make a good date fragrance and will get you noticed. There is a smokiness in the background, but it never dominates. Overall a beautiful fragrance.

For some reason a lot of reviewers seem to describe this one as being something that only certain men can pull off. Like rockstars or gothic types or something. I blind bought it and that is anything but the case. It's a gorgeous sandalwood and incense fragrance with incredible performance. Nothing off putting or strange smelling about it at all. In fact I'll go out on a limb and say its actually a crowd pleaser because I've gotten nothing but positive reactions from it every time I use it. Longevity easily 12 hours or more with very good projection.

Today I found out that choosing specific scents for specific seasons is one of the dumbest things people tend to do and I found out after trying it When I first tested this fragrance I was in a cold climate I wasn’t very fond of it and wasn’t impressed but after a while I tried it on a warmer weather and I was pleasantly shocked The beautiful incense mixed with vanilla and the calming sandalwood it was divine A scent worth the hype in my opinion Performance was good It’s a scent you shouldn’t ignore

The perfect manly scent for autumn and winter season. Blast of pepper, vanilla and incense, with an hint of grapefruit in the opening that you can also detect in the mid. A dry sandalwood then take its place and will stay with you till the end of the dry down. Average longevity (4 to 6 hours) and sillage (1 to 2 hours). Great for a night out to give you that mysterious guy's vibe. Final vote: 8,5/10 (just for the average performances, if it had better longevity i would give it a solid 9+)

This is really well done in my humble opinion. For me this has just above average sillage and longevity and can be worn at any age. It is not overly complex but I find it complete at the same time and love it as it is. I do not get any bad boy vibes here, but instead I find the scent rather noble and sophisticated. For some reason it also gives me some kind of a Persian vibe that I find very pleasant and inviting. I'm a fan and hope they put out this in EDP-concentration.

As I always remind, please disregard performance ratings on internet. Brand employees are actively manipulating internet reviews. This fragrance is a solid performer on my skin! It is not overpowering, but has a strong, balanced and consistent projection for long hours. Deserves much more than "moderate projection" rating. It is somewhat similiar to vintage DHI, but a less sweet, more versatile, more refined & spicy fragrance. Perfect signature scent... Absolute quality!

I think this would be a very good beginner incense fragrance. Very potent for an EDT, performs more like an EDP. Smoldering, radiant, slightly sweet, very Lorson signature here if comparing to her Givenchy work (also excellent performance), same kind of balsamic undertone. The vanilla and the sweetness never becomes the main star but it intermingles with the incense and creates this cloud of aromas. Steal for this price. Could be released as a niche.

I love this scent especially for the price. It is in the dark, romantic person-of-mystery category but at the same time I would describe it as a crowd pleaser. In other words it has sophistication and it is definitely pepper and incense forward, but it’s pretty tame. Delicious, affordable date night scent for any sex. I do not get much grapefruit at all but the rest is very well blended and notes can be discerned in their own right. Highly recommend!

If Just Rock is a like to me, then this one is a love 😍 to me👍 👍👍 But if you’re looking for a beast mode projection monster type of juice, this one will disappoint you. However the scent profile may fascinate you. Good to try before you buy 😉 9/10 “Let's spread the scents of peace and kindness. This parfume is beautiful. Smoky, leathery, dark. On the skin it becomes warmer and sexier. It doesn't happen often that I'm won over by a male fragrance, but this one feels so different I can't help but think about it. I don't know how to say it without sounding silly and juvenile, but it's very sexy. He's unacpologetic, straightforward, bold, cultured and knows of arts. I'd probably follow around a man wearing this.

Such a nice and unique fragrance!! The negative reviews here maybe comes from young boys or newbies in that hobby that can't appreciate that kind of scent... If you want to smell like everyone else out there wearing that typical sweet, juvenile fragrances stay away from this. This is a well crafted man's scent. Sweet creamy sexy vanilla!! Smells like vanilla ice cream scooped into a pencil crayon case. That said, I still like the scent. If there is any smokiness, it's subtle. The top notes of black pepper and grapefruit are not loud at all and quickly this scent settles down to the smokey vanilla with incense touches. I would love to see this scent in a EDP concentration. A great date night scent. You can go heavier on the sprays too!

I'm not huge on cheapies, early in my collecting I wasted a good amount of money on cheapies that are now just collecting dust. But This is Him is fantastic! I hate the phrase "good for the price", to me that means it's not good but at least you only wasted $30-$50. I would pay full retail for this, it's that good. Heavy smoke and incense with a dark, sweet, and spicy vanilla. 9/10

I blind bought this on a complete whim before meeting someone who's turned out to be important to me. I freaking nailed it. The smokey and peppery incense lingers on for a while but when it dries down it's the most beautiful vanilla, sadly by that point it's become a skin scent on me. I wouldn't say it's a safe blind buy but it's an incredible winter/fall fragrance

Vanilla, Incense, with the creamy sandalwood and pepper up top, it's fresh in the opening, not overly sweet, not entire unique either but has its charm. It reminds me ever so slightly of the drink "coke float" for some reason. Performs pretty well, could be the go-to night-out scent, ticks all the boxes. Overall impressive, very well done for the price. 8/10

A wonderful cheapie that performs very well on my skin and serves as a brilliant dumb reach during colder months when i do not want to wear some of my really expensive frags. Do not be fooled by the rating on here it is better than it suggests and like everything it something you must try otherwise you will really never know. Peace :)

Ok, I am new to this all perfume collecting shenanigans, but this... was love at first sight, pepper, incense, and vanilla, very simple, yet ingenious. This is him and this is really him are just that good. Got it a week after I tried it, and really cheap too €20 for 30mL, what a steal! It even survived a quick shower, tenacious!

This whole line is stunning. But of the few, this is my favorite. It has a luxurious spicy, salty, peppery vibe on me. Very underrated and difficult to attain if you’re in the us. But it’s everywhere overseas, like a lot of cool things that are seemingly unavail to us in the states lol. I love this and would recommend to anyone.

It's hard for me to choose just one perfume and stick to it when I have so many. But with this one, I managed. I've been wearing it all winter, morning and evening. Super easy to wear and with a non-intrusive incense note. It's not cliché, not childish, not old-fashioned. Not for show-offs, not for the shy. Right on target.

After wearing it for a while, while I reallt do love the scent I can't understand how this is long lasting on people. I doesn't last on skin and maybe my skin is broken, it doesn't last on clothes. edit: it doesn't even last on paper... If your body gets hotter then it radiates, but it on it's own, no chance

Imagine visiting a 1000 year old church in Europe in November, it's dark, cold and foggy outside, and then during the mass incense is being burnt. Add a little bit of vanilla to that smell and voila we have Zadig & Voltaire For Him. Tom Ford could sell a bottle for 300 bucks and everybody would buy it.

My winter daily driver. The most short-lived grapefruit top-note in the history of citrus openings is followed by a smoky sweetness you'll simply fall in love with. If this gets discontinued or reformulated, you can bet the clone houses are going to jump on it and you'll find it everywhere.

Mystic enigmatic delight This is just the perfect interpretation of an incense vibe for me! I love this stuff so much. Beautiful zingy grapefruit that mixes nicely with the black pepper and vanilla with that smooth sandalwood. This is niche level stuff and it's affordable asf :-)

Opens with grapefruit and pepper. but quickly turn in this Amazing dry down with oriental spices, incense, vanilla and creamy sandalwood. Later in dry down i pick up some licorice and praline. Has a dryness to it as well. Very masculine scent and perfomance is way above average.

This is sooo sexy the only reason I want a man is that I could buy this scent for him. Not too sweet, almost dry but warm and soft at the same time. Spicy but almost in a skin-like way. Makes me go crazy, so addictive. This is for a man with quiet confidence FOR SUREEE

Off the beaten path designer release. Extremely good. Not niche quality, don't get me wrong. It's obvious that this is well-crafted aroma chemical magic. To my nose, I get a lot of frankincense and vanilla, with some javanol (sandalwood), cashmeran and black pepper.

I have an unyielding predilection for vanilla scents and this one did not disappoint. The opening is...okay, but shortly after, this develops into something really nice. The vanilla note comes out early on before the fragrance shifts more toward sandalwood.

Love this scent, its equally creamy, spicy, and woody. The wood notes can smell a bit like saw dust if you interrogate it but the vanilla covers that up pretty well, one of my favorites. Wish it was a bit stronger overall longevity isn't the best. 9.1/10

This is a lovely perfume for fall weather. Not so much for winter. A masterpiece by Natalie Lorson. The perfume is going into its decade, but it's still modern and original and gets compliments! in my top 10 men's autumn perfumes - (for a warmer autumn)
