This Is Really Her!

THIS IS REALLY HER !! Of course it is ! This fragrance smells AMAZING, AMAZINGLY PERFECT ! Instead of only being a creamy gourmand, it is warmer and mouthwatering. Imagine yourself in a warm and cozy kitchen or restaurant, you ordered freshly baked Chestnut and Vanilla cookies and they are still warm from the oven, they are drizzled in honey and they are fluffy, so delicious. The Pink Pepper, Patchouli and Basil are creating even more warmth, the Basil is slightly balsamic, and that really make this scent smell like a convivial kitchen that’s surrounded and blessed by the smell of the cookies in the oven. It really is unique, even more than the OG This is Her. It’s so warm ans sexy, you can wear it during autumn/winter and spring, or a night out with your friends, a date, etc... Reminds me of that time I went bowling with my girls and every time I moved I got a strong wind (not a whiff anymore at this point) of this scent ! The longevity and sillage of this fragrance are MONSTROUSLY ENOURMOUS, it fills up a whole room and lasts until the evening when you go to take a shower. 11/10 I wish I bought the full bottle instead of only the travel spray 🥹

I've been trying to like zadig & voltaire for quite some time now. every time i'm shopping fragrances i try each one on, and even though they do have something modern and different about them, there is always something repulsive about them at the sime time.. a dry and cold note that reminds me of something i would smell at a dental office. that's why this flanker was a surprise to me. this one really got me at first sniff! i was in love! it's the softest, puffiest, creamiest cloud of something.. can't exactly name it. it's not cotton candy, it's not a sweet syrup... it smells like child's innocense! it's not one of those in-your-face sharp, cloying sweet fragrances like la vie est belle. it just lingers somewhere, it catches your attention like a sound in the background. nothing offensive or attention seeking. it's like a smile of a child. simple, honest and lovely. it's perfect for warm june weather. longetivity and sillage are moderate. it's not loud but not a skin scent either. very office friendly.

opens a little bit spicy, dries down into almost exclusively honey on my skin. i absolutely love this fragrance - its elegant, its feminine without any white florals (or perhaps im just a sucker for rose scents). HOWEVER, it disappears from my skin rather quickly, and doesnt project very well during the 2-3h you can actually smell it before it becomes a skin scent. such a shame, because to me, this is the perfect classy, fancy daytime event scent for people who dislike heavy florals in their perfume

This is a wonderful perfume, I really loved it. For a long time I was looking for a perfume that was sexy, sensual but suitable for both daytime and nighttime use... And this is the one! To my regret, the smell disappears from the skin very quickly and the projection is weak. To feel it you have to be very close and not even I can feel it with me. It is a shame. It had everything to be a great signature. The smell is actually really good on my skin. But he has nothing intense about him.

I agree, you need really test it on skin and on clothing because on paper I got sharp rose and patchouli. This phase on skin is just 2 mins and I get balsamic honey-rose spicy vanilla with some nuttiness (on paper this drydown comes through after a few hours). So beautiful! Has deepness and strength. A happy fragrance. However it's not fitting to the This is Her line, but so good! I do not feel oud in it, just a bit earthiness which comes from the patchouli.

Summer Nights Only...or Heated Encounters.... It has to be tried and worn on very warm skin to activate its secret power... otherwise, you won't understand its nature ! This is along the pathway of Juliette Has a Gun - Mad Madam (which isn't very mad at all, but very beautiful). Try it layered with Diptyque Eau Rose or with Hugo Boss FEMME for the extra rose vibes.

Every time I spray on this perfume I imagine a daring woman on a night out dressed in all black. Musky rose and honey scent with a Middle Eastern tone. As others have mentioned, It's perfect for everyday use, night and day. The projection is pretty solid (with 4-5 sprays) and it stays on for about 6-7 hours for me. My favorite these days.

I am starting to realise I love Honey note in my perfume. This is honey forward perfume for honey lovers. Although honey comes across as the most prominent note to me, It does not feel oversweet or sticky that I can see myself wearing all year round. Great one.

It smells wonderful, I really love it, but it's a perfume that needed more power. Quite weak in duration and projection. I'll let it macerate and see if it makes any difference. It's a shame because the smell is really good!

Blind buy - I mistook this for something else. But it was a happy mistake! This Is Really Her! is sophisticated and elegant. Zadig and Voltaire create very youthful fragrances, and I see this one as a bit of a graduation from the rest - she's still young with that opening punch of pepper and the sweet blend of honey and vanilla in the dry down, but she's grown-up, with the rosy floral note. Could be pulled off by a classy, but not without edge, girl of any age. Certainly not a day-to-day scent, I think it needs to be dressed up a little. The projection could be better and I wish the top notes hung around a tad longer. One spray isn't enough, so give yourself a good dousing for best effect!

Сегодня тестирую второй день, и я совсем не соглашусь, что парфюм не Стойкий! Слышу на себе его много часов, к тому же аромат меняется. Для меня он немного похож на удовую розу от Jo Malone, но немного более тёплый запах и мёд тоже играет. Наверное такие оттенки даёт сочетание пачули, каштаны и мёда, раз уж уд здесь не заявлен. Если разбирать отдельно на ноты, то выделяется роза, но не приторная, а немного горьковатая, пачули, мёд, ваниль в базе. Базилик и перец для меня здесь отсутствуют. Ставлю плюс за смелость исполнения, сочетание интересное и не заезженое, хорошо будет весной звучать 👌

When first sprayed I get the chestnut, rose and vanilla (to my nose I don't really get the pink pepper or basil). As it starts to dry down the chestnut follows but then an earthiness comes through with a little honey which I quite enjoy. I'd say this is something you can wear all year round, day/night time. This is a big step up from 'This is Her' (which is lacklustre to me). This Is Really Her is more interesting and has 'body' to it, between the two versions I'd say go for 'This Is Really Her'.

smells amazing, i'm more of a "this is her" girl but this is so so nice. it reminds me of my mother (i think it's the patchouli note) and if i had to describe it i would say it smells like a nice warm evening in a restaurant. i definitely pick up the pepper and i don't think the rose is overpowering as other comments mention, as i usually don't like rose scents and here it doesn't bother me. not a revolutionary fragrance, so probably a safe blind-buy, but still really nice !

I've had the opportunity to sample 5 Zadig & Voltaire fragrances for the first time and I found myself impressed with everything I smelt. Let me tell you about 'This is really her'. Although I understand the comparisons with Lancôme's Oud Bouquet and Swiss Arabian's Shaghaf Oud, I do not agree with them. This fragrance is all about a squad of four- honey, patchouli, rose and vanilla. This stuff is intense, loud and demanding. A strong like for the books.

On first spray, I get a sweet chestnut note (not roasted, more like chestnut cream). It’s pleasant, but it doesn’t particularly excite me. That said, in the dry-down, the honeyed rose - almost candied - starts to come forward more and more, and that’s when it really wins me over. The fragrance slowly shifts from a wintery gourmand scent to something more oriental, in a completely original and enjoyable way. Good longevity and sillage.

I'm in love. I went into the store thinking I was going to buy "This is her" after hearing much about it, but I ended up not liking it. The shop assistant suggested I try "This is really her" instead after I described to him what I prefer in a fragrance - it was love at first smell. Sweet but not headache inducing, strong but not overpowering, warm and creamy. I absolutely love this! Plus it was on sale :P

Bought this thinking it was This is Her! In White bottle. What a pleasant surprise. It's lovely, soft, inoffensive perfume. I can definitely detect honey and rose in this. Doesn't last long on me though. Sprayed an hour ago and can't smell it anymore. Would wear it as everyday perfume 😊 Don't think I would repurchase this again.

Finally, a zadig n voltaire perfume which is different in this is her series. This one reminds of a golden decade woman, it's sophisticated, very intense and it's giving old money vibes. A yes for me, but not my favorite yet.

This smells like a fancy outdoor wedding party. I get a fresh but sweet sparkling rose, softened by a touch of wild honey. Its just a shame that it only lasts 30 minutes.

Sprayed this on paper in the car on my way home from work. It was a pretty weird experience. Something made it very interesting and new, I had no clue what to compare it with, yet something in it was so familiar. I could detect some vanilla which seems to be part of almost all of this brand's perfumes. But had no clue about the rest. Either it's just the combination or maybe it's the chestnut that makes it interesting to me. Apart from the opening, which luckily disappears pretty quickly. I'm actually pretty positively surprised. The best part is when it has settled. All the other Z&V perfumes I've tried ("girls can" series and "this is love") all have some kind of spicy base note that ends up bothering my nose. Even though the perfume was freezing cold I could smell it clearly from first spray. It has now warmed up at home, and I've resprayed a couple of times during the day. Feel like it does not project that much and becomes a skin scent. But nice though. I would like to try the other chestnut scents!

Ok I don’t know how I feel about this, first time I’ve sprayed it was a surprise and I’d kind of like it. So When I saw it on sale I got it bcs I remember likening it. Now maybe it’s just the weather to warm to enjoy it or something but I find myself struggling to enjoy it. Also it kind of remind me of Crazy for oud from Mancera a lot , which is hunting bcs I already have that one and it’s like more of the same... it’s smells very woody like the the oud in CfO. I also find it very similar to Radical Rose from Matiere premiere but softer. Anyways I’ll try it again when the weather gets cooler. Not a bad parfum at all it just reminds me of many others. It starts very rosy and patchouli with this ouds kind of woods. Than the woodds clam down and its rosé patchouli combo. Dry down it’s syrupy sweet with a bit of vanilla. Not bad but redundant.

Starts with a good projection with realistic notes of a peppery fresh rose, a light honey note well balanced with the freshness of the patchouli. Unfortunately, this is a déjà-vu for about 100 times : rose-pepper-patchouli. I’ll pass personally. However If you don’t have anything alike in your collection, and if the rose note isn’t headache inducing, try it. Good price point. I was so disappointed when I tried it at Sephora. I absolutely love This is her! so I expected something similar but more spicy and rosey. It smells like champagne to me and it lasted at best 3h, with almost no sillage. I could only smells it on my skin, not even 20cm away. The scent itself is nice, soft yet a but fizzy and bubbly, and very feminine. But... it doesn't stand out at all, it's not what I expected based on the notes and doesn't last well. It's rather similar to This is her - undressed

I smell no chestnuts, only rose, a little bit of honey and something spicy which I think comes from the pepper. I thought that I would enjoy it more, turns out that I only find it boring, nothing special... though it is not bad.

Less spicy,and more sweet Maahir Lattafa.Orieantal fragrance, very sexy,and very sweet.Works good in cold wether.If you like very sweet fragrances,you will enjoy in this.This is baby of Maahir Lattafa and La vie e Belle..

I really don't like this. If you produce a flanker, it should at least be somewhat related to the original. Not twins, but at least cousins. You know, similar vibes. This is not similar vibes whatsoever, I don't know why this is a flanker. The opening is loud and harsch. The rose, honey and patchouli seem to be fighting for attention. Makes me a bit nausious even. It does calm down after the first hour, and in the drydown I no longer feel the need to scrub it off. But no, this is a hard pass for me.

A more sophisticated perfume than the rest of This is Her line. For this perfume the bottle is a bit wrong. I don't see the similarity to Oud Bouquet at all. This is Really Her smells very floral to my nose, I don't find that much of a gourmand side to it.

This reminds me of My Way EDP by Armani. Very meh. Powdery-vanilla-flowery mix that's very boring to me, personally. I think I dislike the slightly cloying, almost waxy smell that this, My Way, YLS Libre, and several designer fragrances have.

This has the same vibes as Gypsy Water to me. It smells like an unwashed hippie.

No. Loud and overbearing. Earthy heavy rose mixed with honey. It made me nauseous. I expected more since I love the OG "This is her!" but this one I had to scrub off. If you like rose you might like this one. Rating: 1.5/10

This is a rose-patchouli scent with cheap, wet wipes kind of opening. Super boring, unpleasant.

This is REALLY a perfume you must try on your skin to be sure. I can't believe what just happened. I am a fan of the original This is her! EDP because of the 'lactonic' character that to me reminds from time to time the Rafaelo chocolates with coconut. This is really her is a completely different story. I am not sure if I should be happy or disappointed. First of all, great 'golden' bottle that now I understand what role it plays. It starts with a peppery light freshness in a moment that I was ready to throw the paper away but I still had some hopes. I was keep sniffing it, something different seems to come from the middle, not something impressive and after an hour...BOOM! A perfume you have smelled before but at least it's niche. To me, it reminds so so much the Roses & Musk from Montale, to you I see Oud Bouquet, (I agree as hell, but it's more similar to another one from the exclusive perfumes of Lancome) Shaghaf Oud (hmm so and so, it's softer and kind of more complex). Yeah, that's it. Don't expect any honey or Scandal vibes from JPG. I think Z&V took a huge risk by adding such a perfume in the This is her collection. I am wondering why oud isn't listed in the notes and what's the idea behind it? Maybe to make the niche perfumes mentioned above more approachable to the crowds? Maybe they are trying to attract a bit more of the western world customers? All in all, I don't think it was a good release as we all expected something more gourmand but I can admit that no matter what, Z&V perfumes are strong and good. Sillage but mostly lasting power is amazing on skin, the same stands and for the newest This is 'really' her but it's not my cup of tea. An oud-y/rosie/musky perfume you smelled before, just a bit more interesting and definitely easy to have it a signature scent...but will someone say: Aha! This is really her from Z&V..or he/she'll be like: Mmm another 'arabic' musky/rose or even worse a replica of a well known niche? You choose...

Z&V has a real talent for odd, futuristic jumps: fragrances that feel like they were composed on another planet, and you have to be the right kind of weird to wear them. I vibe with some of their work (mostly the masculine releases), but this one, I’m not sure I’m weird enough in the way it requires. My inner world is strange, yes - but more "strange that no one knows about" than "strange, loud and proud". This is sweet, aggressively so. Honey and vanilla run the show, and the result leans into a cloying sweetness with no freshness to balance it. If you enjoy honey-glazed peculiarity, give it a go. For me, it’s a no.

I find it very similar to Givenchy's Hot Couture. Not very long lasting, at least not on me. And absolutely nothing to do with This is Her!, which I also have. By the way, I find this brand very expensive but projection and staying power don't justify those prices. In fact, I was able to buy This is Really Her! because it was on sale due to "Hot Sale" week, otherwise it's completely out of reach.

This is truly a gorgeously composed scent. Smells absolutely rich and niche, the honey is very forward mixed with the rose and patchouli it gets something earthy in a hippie kinda way. Definitely unisex for me and it’s a sexy deep scent. This reminds me of Nefs from Nishane but this is more airy. I absolutely fell in love with this scent on my skin and will be getting a full bottle soon!

This perfume is what I envision gold smelling like. Rich, a little bit suffocating, original and noticeable. A perfume that I imagine Serena van der woodsen wearing. It's also long lasting and people can smell it when you wear it, you get niche quality, in performance and the fragrance itself for designer price. By far the perfume that has gotten me the most compliments

i was hesitating in the shop for 30 minutes...i dont know if i like it or not! sometimes it smelled sweeter, after that it smelled like wet-wipes but more powdery. i ended up leaving it behind because its just not for me.

Was it not her last time? Can everyone who thought they were buying her last time get a refund ?
