Tome 1 La Purete for Her

I think La Purete for her is deserving of a little more credit! I enjoy it thoroughly, and my husband loves it. It is sensual, in a very cozy, plush sweater, tights, & messy hair kind of way. Not a LBD scent, a "let's stay in" scent, or would be lovely for a casual date. To my nose, it gives the same impression as Womanity in that there is a slightly savory note amongst the sweet Tonka, and milky almond. The musk here reminds me of the same used in Montale's Roses Musk. From the cozy beginning to soft, musky, creamy, sandalwood drydown, there it rests on dense guiac wood, and peony petals just faintly. This fragrance lasted all day on me. It is "dense" as another reviewer mentioned, and a pleasure to wear. The creamy, soft, barely sweet notes play well with the woods and patchouli, and the result is a very enjoyable perfume for personal pleasure. I would recommend Womanity lovers give this beautiful fragrance a try! lovely packaging as well.

I thought it would be soft.. and it turned out to be even bold and sexy. I thought it would be cloying and it turned out to be sofisticated and addicting. I thought it smelles like some 'white' juice and it's actually a totaly 'black' scent! Well, Zadig & Voltaire you surprised me indeed! Stunning perfume! I think very lovable and round fragrance. It's so unique, can not compare to any other. I love love love it!!

Don't smell it on the paper, give it a try on skin and you'll be surprised! I'm so in love with that combination of milk and guaiac wood. Unusual luxury soap that reminds me of being innocent, pure and naturally alluring.

Stunning... like makinglove... Don't know any similair perfume - Love it! makes my day.. I'm not sure but supose it "milk" part so crazy me. so i'm looking more milk contains perfume...

This scent is so unusual, at least to my nose! But it is a very nice scent, you just have to get past a first "weird" impression. I have never smelt anything like this before except for a perfume by Agatha that slightly smells similar but without the oomph (can't remember if it was Un Matin A Paris or Un Soir A Paris, but given the notes, I would go with Un Soir A Paris!). To me it smells creamy, slightly unisex, and definitely intriguing! I really didn't like the scent at first but after having smelt it again and again and getting to really appreciate its originality, I may consider getting a bottle :)! PS: I think if you like Givenchy’s Ange ou Démon you might enjoy this scent as well, they both share a gorgeous weirdness!

Soapy scent softened by distant lactonic accords. The dry down on me is much more some sort of top luxury European soap than almond coziness. I guess it depends on people chemistry because I read comments below stating this is a musky-almond scent. On my this is pure soap. In that sense the name fits the fragrance quite well "La pureté" which means "purity". If you want to smell like an expensive imported soap bar, that's a good choice. Longevity is great and it projects a little bit.

there is an important note missing here : Sandalwood in the dry down!! lots of it! This is what gives thak milky note, combined whith almonds and tonka bean. Patchouli gives a smoky note; all in all I enjoy it quite, it's like a warm milk with orange blossom & almonds, and then it gets a bit smoky, woody, tender; it really evocates me something white! but dense & warm, like wool or cachemire, I'll maybe try it for this winter...

On me I can smell most warm soft Musk, almond and Milk. Warm, cosy, come-and-hug-me-scent. Reminds me of Costume National So Nude on my skin. Longlived on my skin and nice sillage. På min kan jag känna mest varm mjuk Musk, Mandel och mjölk. Varm, gosig, kom-å-krama-mig-doft. Påminner om Costume National So Nude på min hud. Mycket hållbar och skön utstrålning.

So unusal, got this at Bicester outlet for £27 for 30ml which is not too bad. I love it, creamy almond but also quite strong white floral. Cant put my finger on what it is but I love it. I have smell the recent version, unisex one and it is similar enough - less white flower and more bergamot but still has the almond milk base.

It is indeed a very pleasant skin scent. The orange flower, the milky almonds, and the sandalwood, the notes I sense the most, caress both skin and spirit.

The concept and name of this fragrance appeals to me very much. The smell itself no and all thanks to the mix of orange blossom with jasmine, which take the lead on my skin and which I do not tolerate and avoid as much as I can.Tonka or even very subtle milky almond accords aren ́t present here or at least I completly can ́t detect them. Where is this darkness, this struggle with injustice of this world's stupidity? I hope as the perfume is inspired by Voltaire ́s Memnon or (The Book or Fate) I could find it here. Unfortunetly not. There are no higher ideas here. For me, this smell is just plain, dull and colorless. I have met hundreds of such orange flowers with jasmine, and this one does not stand out with anything. Maybe if the other ingredients were allowed to speak up, something would come of it? Maybe if the parameters were better, because I have the impression that this fragrance practically does not exist. I will not dwell on it any longer. I don't like it and that's it.

To be honest, it's really not what i expected. I was waiting for a much more lactonic a bit more sweeter and creamy scent ( maybe i want more similatiries with this is her) So i needed time to start to appericate this. But i gave time to this frarance, and now i have to tell it's art, its poetry. The choosen theme and name are perfect. This fragrance is about purification-catharsis, soul and damnation. The scent it self has the same feeling, and dinamism. This has contrast in it, between lightness and darkness. the middle notes - zone- contains milk-warm sligtly sweeten (by tonka) lactonic notes ( milk & almond) - which symbolise softness, lighness & human skin + angelic soul. twisted with narcotic jazmine which is symbolising innocence ( because of this is white flower) but at the same time it symbolise temptation as well. While the top notes -zone- contains the "clearness"(= pureté ) which is symbolising the purification, and higher self by fresh & clean notes. Mostly soapy orange flower ( which is also an innocent whiteflower) and fresh bergamott. And in the base - at the bottom zone- there are musk - which is animalic so it's symbolising the instictive, supressed desires in the subconscious, so the ' lower self'- (but at the same time it gives much more smoothness to the milk in the composition.) + there is guaic wood what is one of the main notes. And this is the one which gives deepness and darkness to the fragrance with its own special black, pitch-y tar scent. So yes this compostion has a fallen angel vibe.

Strange and unique smell, different from anything I smelled before, and never smelled anything remotely similar on anyone. I can't tell any of the notes, I can recognize only the guaiac wood, and some mixture of lactonic and musky. Sillage is good, more than average, longevity is even better, 16h on skin and more than 24h on clothes. It doesn't smell natural, it is not a synthetic mess and smells expensive. I bought this perfume at a huge discount many years ago, in the beautiful book shaped box. After the purchase, I quickly became bothered by the fragrance and I couldn't stand it anymore; I could smell it on my hands even by only touching the box. Since I was a broken student, I sold it to buy something else, but I poured myself a small vial of it, labeled it and put in my collection. Going through my vial a couple of days ago, I strangely felt like I wanted to experience again that weird smell, now it feels so interesting and intriguing, I really regret selling it.

I agree with hermyonee: I smell a lot of sandalwood! I get a sample of this fragrance from Sephora, and I tried it yesterday evening...at the moment I can't say if I like it or not. It's a strange, strong and not easy to wear fragrance, but in a seductive way. I personally hate the sandal note, but love the milky impression... I'll give it another chance! Ok, I used it again, for a dinner on saturday. Nice fragrance...absolutely unexpected (maybe too much), but disappointing staing power, I can feel it only for two h. I start thinking I need more that one sample to decide if I like it or not.

To this very day I am still trying to find a replacement for this scent. I wore it for years, daily. I loved it so much, but the reformulation really is not the same. What they have in common is that they have great projection and longevity, but the original (this one) had the addition of the tonka beans and almond that made it sweet and soft. It was very unique and recognisable, but still very pleasant and friendly. If anybody has an idea as to a similar scent with the same staying power and projection I would LOVE to try it. I have yet to find something I love as much.

It's almost a non-existent fragrance, a true skinscent. In the beginning I was hardly able to smell it. Then it started to warm up and reveal its cozy notes: milk, almonds, orange flower, some tonka bean and some musk. I could also smell a strange note: something like warm, evaporating asphalt in hot summer after a short, heavy rain. The notes blend well together. Very soft, velvety, barely there - but still, somehow firm and lasting. Very modern and different concept, and still - it can remind of a body's warmth. Nice work! Definitely to be tested on SKIN offhand.

I tried today and now it's mine. At first, we must consider the fact that it's a Natalie Lorson's creation. There is her hand in this work (Perles by Lalique and Trussardi 2011 for woman). Very unusual fragrance, milky but non for girls, woody but soft, warm but not sweet. It's pure cachemere on my skin. Almonds are not heavy and sandalwood (that I sometimes can't stand) is well blended. Really beautiful! Probably it will be my signature fragrance for next winter.

Really weird at the first sniff. After a few seconds it smells milky-spicy-irritating, like Feu d'Issey, but if you survive this stage (which luckily doesn't last long), you get the guaiac wood and some wonderfully soapy notes. At that stage you must come really close to be able to smell it. I would describe it as modern-decadent kind of thing, definitely worth testing.

(This is not the actual version that you find in stores, it has been reformulated) This must be my first lactonic love. Milky woody as i like to call it. It gets even more beautiful when your skin is hot. Color beige, suits everything. Comfort and simple elegance.

I wouldn't describe it as a pure white floral. For me this fragrance is reminiscent of Earl Grey tea at the opening, then Bergamot ( a little bit of freshness) and sandal wood. Never found anything similar to it.
