Tome 1 La Purete

Once upon a time, I thought that I really liked this. I love the creaminess that milk adds to fragrances and I also enjoy vanilla, but somehow this goes all wrong on me. It starts out with a nice creamy vanilla scent, but ends in a musky, spicy mess. I think if the musk were turned down just a tad..this could work. It lasts a long time (6+hrs) and is pretty inexpensive, but not one of my favorites. I've been trying to get along wit this scent for over 2 years but nothing seems to work. This could be a good one for someone who really enjoys musk.

This smells like an intense fuming vanilla and verbena. like the embers of a fire made of these two notes. Must be the patch oil causing the fuming sensation, but it doesnt really smell like patch. This stage lasts a long time and in the end it softens into a vanilla. musc almond scent. Probably would not buy this.

i do have two testers of Tome 1 - FOR HER - la pureté, and i have to admit that i donnot really like it, but i'm not really able to figure out why. There is a undertone which on my skin comes out in a too artificial way which doesn't get along with the other notes. I would like but i can't appreciate.

I was very surprised that I did not like this. I like all the fragrance notes, but when I smell this, I smell nothing that I like. It is too sweet and heavy and all the notes just trample on each other, fighting for supremecy. It's like the humid bathroom of your great-aunt, who lives in FL, and her air conditioning is out, and she sprayed her old lady perfume and used some tucks medicated pads, and now you have to brush your teeth and try not to vomit. No thanks! (Retch!)

I was very curious of this one. My sister wore it very well, it gave smoky but fresh atmosphere like a empowering scent. I wanted to try it but it really was terrible with my skin ! I think its the type of perfume you absolutely need to test first, it was so strong and sour on me, disturbing scent all day, I really felt like something was off coz of this one. Not a perfume you could offer like that

I tried it last summer in Paris. I was expecting this perfume, because i just love Z&V. but the smell of their perfume is very contraversial. i didn't expect purity to be this way. i took the blotter and threw it away immediately. not mine in short.

This perfume is very feminine, yet masculine. suits me perfectly. but the scent morphs into a subtle nutty aroma. very unappealing at the end of the day!

Milky notes get sour on me. Bleh, I had to get rid of this and scrub it immediately. Try before you buy. Not my cup of tea
