Of the Immortals

It opens up with coconut and bergamot on my skin. The coconut is a dry kind, I see why alot of people say it reminds them of toasted coconut. I think of those roasted coconut drinks by foco from the asian market I used to drink as a child. It doesnt smell like sunscreen or summery but it can pass off as an evening summer scent with campfires on the beach as each heavy note in this juice is balanced with something uplifting. The bergamot is not loud as I thought it might of been, it was mellowed out by the coconut which shortly transitions to the salt and coffee, it's like a light roast coffee, gently brewed. It's not prominent, also quickly sinks into the sweet drydown. And boy the dry down is sweeeeet. The honey comes off as more of a base scent then mid on me, like its drenching jasmine flowers where u get just a peep of milky fresh floral through the sweetness, a dose of praline balanced with fig to give it a pop of freshness, a glass of rum on the rocks, and strong and a clean musk from than orcanox is the drydown for me. Very prominent of woods throughout but it's like clean, light, dry, slightly sweet kind. Like few pieces of Palo Santo sitting in a bowl with pods of vanilla. Everything is extremely well blended, with alot of complimentary notes. I really wanted to give it a good well rounded opinion, so I didnt post anything until gave it about a week of thorough testing. I was hoping my nose was just asnomic to it but as beautiful of a scent it is, it doesn't last long on me. Although, it could be a plus for some who like to change up fragrances in midday or evening. About 2 hours (arms length projection), then it becomes a skin scent which maybe last about 2-3 hours. Unfortunately, I think because it has orcanox, a form of Ambergris, my skin ate up this fragrance (did the same for Evening Mystique which also has orcanox). If you are curious on how orcanox smells like, it's very close to the molecule used in Juliette's Got a Gun, Not a Perfume except less synthetic. Same vibes fersure tho. I still think this was worth buying for the uniqueness, and for the size and quality the pricing is great! Plus, I'm supporting my favorite youtubers and George seems like a gem, very kind and caring about his customers! A company I don't mind backing. Thank you for this journey, I look forward to other offerings from the World of Zaharoff.

Never have I opened a fragrance and smelled the atomizer and immediately fell in love. Now wait....not that hopeless romantic Hollywood type love. NO! I'm talking about a toxic love. The kind of love you'd go to jail for. The kind of love that makes you immediately buy a backup bottle because you don't want this feeling to end (yeah, I did!). This is the kind of love that reminds me why I love fragrances, and Curly Scents' 'of the immortals' is a beautiful fragrance that introduces itself in a strong way. Full disclosure, I adored Curly Scents (Andrea and Anthony) first offering 'Siren', but I never got to fully enjoy it as I left my bottle in Cuba this past year on my birthday. So, it was a sad reference point, but OFM is a welcoming nostril enticing gem that makes my lost Siren bottle not hurt as much. OFM opens with Honey that screams off the atomizer, and like opening Pandora's box, you get the rush of Bergamot, Brandy, Coffee, and a linear salt note that plays throughout. I can detect the Fig as well. Praline and Tonka are dancing in the dry down and you can also feel the musk, Amber, and Oud, which is blended beautifully. There are hints of PDM Herrod, Kilian Back to Black, and Kerosene Followed, but this doesn't clone either of them. OFM simply walked into the room and said hey bitches, I'm way better. AND IT IS! This is my new love, and we're committed because you're a 120 ml, and I just bought a backup, so we are in this. Thank you, Andrea and Anthony, for this vision of a scent and George Zaharoff for bringing them back as part of the #Zedcreators. This is truly a magnificent addition to your Frangrance world, and knowing that it is a limited edition makes me so happy I got two of these in my life, however toxic our love may be.

Second full wearing of Zaharoff Of the Immortals, the second Zed creators’ release from Andrea Charls / Curly Scents, following The Siren, part of the initial Zed creators trio in 2021. Like The Siren, Of the Immortals is an intoxicating mostly-gourmand—sweet, alluring, and a little resinous. I could classify it as being boozy, tropical, ambery, musky, or more, so it has a lot going on while being quite accessible. The Siren is a bit darker than Of the Immortals, which I find to be a more a little lighter, less spicy or animalic-adjacent, more syrupy, and, while comparably seductive, a bit easier to wear (for most, I imagine) and a bit more of a gourmand, as most of the listed notes indicate. Of the Immortals smells godly, an easy winner for gourmand lovers while not being too sharp or sweet, despite having more of a syrupy quality than The Siren. It hits the right spot of being a smooth gourmand that’s fun while still having some intrigue and mystery to it, as I would have a tough time picking out some of the notes, with the standouts for me being tonka, praline, rum, amber, and musk. I think everyone could get their own notes out of it, and I suspect that each time I wear it, it might seem a little bit different in terms of which notes are emphasized, a fun feature. It performs quite well, and as with the other two Zed creators’ releases of 2022, is an uncannily-great price, at $160 for 120ml in EDP concentration, somehow a significant reduction in cost per ml from the 2021 initial Zed releases at $119 for 60ml. Overall, this another outstanding release from Andrea, the Zed Creators, and George Zaharoff. 8 out of 10

I absolutely love love love this to death! <3 I've never fallen in love with a frag from first spray like with this one. I am very lucky that I got one of the last bottles available, and am not wasting or parting with a drop of this beautiful juice! <3 I just wish this was still in production so that I could have gotten a full backup bottle later, because this is a scent I would love to have for life. It's sweet but not sugary, very balanced and dries down to cozy woods without any skank or overpowering harshness. Soft vanilla woods. At the start, I definitely get rum, coconut, honey, praline sweetness and coffee, blended to perfection. It's a bit hard to pick out individual notes because it's so well balanced and blended, but that does not take away from how much I love it. 🥰 Don't get a prominent jasmine, salt or fig, but it's surely in there somewhere. 😁 My skin eats fragnances, but this one lasts for roughly 4-5 hours before its a skin scent that others still pick up for 2-3 hours more in close proximity. Sadly, I go noseblind as soon as I spray it. Though I can feel wafts of it from time to time. Compliment getter for me. A colleague thought it was a grown up caramel scent, haha and asked what I was wearing that was so good. First time I wore it, I sprayed 3-4 sprays, mistakenly thought it was very weak, and a colleague/friend could pick it up as soon as I entered the office 50 m away, haha. He loved it. 🙌

I’m getting sweet leather, but complex. I’m not familiar with oud but I’m guessing that’s where the leather comes from. I don’t really pick up on the sandalwood. This is so hard to describe without being more familiar with oud. It’s 50% something other than the sweet notes and 50% sweet notes but that balance keeps it far from feeling sugary. The sweet notes feel very unspecific but not in the way that some of those REALLY unspecific sweet notes do like in Ariana Grande Cloud/Baccarat, or anything with sugar cube or caramel notes. It’s more like all of the sweet elements listed in the composition are in such equal proportions that none of them are particularly distinguishable. Anyway I love it but would never spend $300 on it. Especially with such poor projection. You’d have to use a really heavy hand on this to even smell it on yourself the way you want to. More masc than femme but would make such a cool signature scent for a woman. I would be all over this stuff if it was closer to $100. Kind of wish this sample had never even landed in my hands.

OMG! This is insanely good! Truly unisex! This is so intoxicating alluring and magnetizing. I am in love with scent composition. I don’t even know how to describe notes, it opens with boozy coffee with sweet note of honey and slight zest, barely detectable...Thank it dries down to toasted coconut, a little bit of tonka or vanilla, oud is definitely there but very smooth and not animatic. I can also pick up very well praline, fig, amber wood and sandal...The fragrance itself is very complex and multifaceted...There is something slightly medicinal in thi concoction....Bravo to perfumer and creator! In terms of performance, it last good 8 hours and projects within arm length which is more than enough for me. I see this one worn more during night time, for a date or event, when you want people to turn heads...But I also believe that you can wear whatever you want whenever and wherever you feel like :) And I have to mention the price, it’s a steal for such niche perfume! $160 for 120 ml is very affordable! I will buy more Zaharoff perfumes for sure!

Gorgeous!!!! I'm not sure id call it a gourmand though? The woody notes are a bit too prevalent for me to say it's a true gourmand. I definitely get the honey, salt and woody notes throughout the life of the fragrance. Off the top I get the booze, coffee, and bergamot. As it starts to dry down it quickly sweetens up when the coconut, tonka and praline come though. When it's dry it's a sexy ambery woody vanilla with a hint of that honey and salt still mingling in the background. I have only had it for two days, but I wore it twice. Yesterday I was modest with my spraying, and today I went to town! I could smell it all day (8+ hours) both times. It gave a very nice scent bubble, and I caught whiffs all day long. I think this is a true unisex fragrance, and it would be incredibly sexy on a man. This fragrance is unique, but I do see some similarities to Gris charnel, with the way the wood and tonka come through. Again, they are totally different fragrances!!! But, I think most people who like that, would enjoy this too.

This is a beautiful fragrance. On first spray, I immediately detect the boozy rum note accompanied by toasted coconut. The coconut note quickly fades into the background as coffee, sea salt, and woody notes take over. The impression at this point is something akin to a chocolatey salted caramel with nuances of coffee. It is a sweet fragrance but not cloying and in the later stages, I thought I detected a light, dry tobacco note. Though its not listed in the notes, I am also picking up on a cardamom-like note. I don't detect any jasmine, fig or oud (apart from the general woodiness in the base). Overall, the fragrance is very unisex and more suited to winter nights. It is also VERY long lasting on my skin and I suspect a few sprays will be enough to leave a lasting trail. I've been watching Curly Scents for a while now and have come to respect her fragrance choices. She did a great job with this one.

Of The Immortals is straight up 🔥🔥🔥. First time I smelled the decant I purchased from @fatboyfragrancereviews I was in total lust. Then I saw the presentation and knew I needed as large a bottle as they made. Sweet, smokey leather opening with a hint of vanilla. The middle gets a little coconutty and that always puts me in a beach frame of mind. The base notes just make this soar. Listed as vanilla, sandalwood, oud, musk and amber, I get whiffs of all five and they really work on my skin. It’s about mid level pricing and performs as such. That’s not a complaint from me. I don’t buy fragrances for the performance, I buy them for the smell. For me it’s top shelf. Presentation and smell are both amazing. Pretty sure CoCoLoCo is next on my agenda!

This fragrance is to die for! One of the most gourmand scents in my collection. On initial spray, I get toasted coconut, vanilla, and praline. Very nutty and sweet. After it dries down, the booziness comes through with fig and tonka bean dancing in the background. This is perfectly unisex. I would love this on a man, but this is also the type of fragrance that seduces one. It is cozy and sexy all in one. I went and bought a second bottle because I see myself wearing this all the time. If you want a true gourmand, look no further. For the amount you get and the quality of this fragrance, the price can't be beat. Also, they don't smell identical, but I get a little bit of Penhaligons Changing Constance and Minuit et Demi.

I really like this. It seems truly unisex to me. I’d really enjoy it on a man, and I’m loving it on me! Definitely starts off smoky/woody. As it dries down, the sweeter notes begin to come through, but the musk and sandalwood keep it from going too cloying. I’m not getting a lot of oud from it, which is good because I am pretty skittish when it comes to oud. The lactonic quality is present through all stages; it’s a creamy fragrance. I’m also not getting any jasmine - which again, I think is ok. I’m pulling a lot of tonka, coconut, honey, salt, and sandalwood. Bergamot is definitely there at the start. I just really, really love this.

Took me a second to figure out that this reminds me of Un Bois Vanille by Serge Lutens. That dry coconutty vanilla. But Of the Immortals is waaaaaaay more wearable and pleasant. Has a softness and powdery-ness that cuts through the sweetness, whereas Bois Vanille is very smokey and waxy. Of the Immortals is what I wanted Un Bois Vanille to be. Sensual and alluring, yet comfortable and intimate. Edit: I’m obsessed. Bought a bottle. Longevity lasts 10+ hours. Projection is solid moderate throughout. And it’s just so subtly sexy and yummy. I love this fragrance! I ordered a second bottle after experiencing the scent. I have many gourmand fragrances (mostly designers and celebrity fragrances) and this is my favorite. It may be just me, but I get a mango vibe—like Haitian or Hawaiian mango peel where you can smell the sweetness still. The closest I’ve ever come to knowing how a fig smells is with fig newton bars, so I don’t know how it really smells😅. It’s a beautiful creation and I’m so happy for CurlyScents and World of Zaharoff🎉

This is a sweet gourmand fragrance with coconut as the main star, it kind of reminds me of Bounty the chocolate bar with additional booziness Opens with a coconut note that comes off a bit salty, but not for long As it dries down it becomes much smoother, still boozy coconut that is soft and delicious with sandalwood and vanilla and still a bit salty The ultimate dry down is softy musky woody notes and it becomes less sweet, it is more like a warm cozy hug

Just received mine today and what can I say, but OH MY! This one is hands down my favorite of the three new releases. I definitely get the booziness and the coconut and maybe the praline. I just applied it like ten minutes ago and I'm already enveloped in a heavenly scent bubble. This stuff is creamy gourmand goodness, and I think I might order a second bottle. Definitely the best I've ever smelled from Zaharoff. Totally unisex, straight down the line.

Smoldering coconut with a woody vanilla dry down. Sexy and sophisticated on my skin with a hint of tropical vibes. If you like the coconut in le beau like I do you might like this. But it’s a warm coconut and more exotic with less of a salty creamy suntan feel as with le beau. It’s closer to Noir Extreme parfum in that it’s smoky and elegant. Starts off beautiful and ends up more beautiful. Date night feel, but I’d rock this any time. Really gorgeous.

TF Tobacco vanille + added Toasted coconut.... Or Black phantom with added toasted coconut 🧐 I’m a female and I adore it on me and on my boyfriend! This toasted coconut note is the bomb! I ale it can swear there’s a bit of tobacco in here somewhere but subtle... if I want ti be extra - if layer it with Angels share one evening (autumn / winter ) as I feel those two together would be the ultimate boozy - sweet - spicy gourmand. Intoxicated...!

Love at first sniff! And I finally got my hands on a bottle, this was a limited edition release and sold out everywhere. This is the best warm, slightly sweet, chocolate, cozy oud- and I'm sensitive to oud, but it's not overpowering this fragrance. It's so well blended it's hard for me to pick up most of these notes, especially bergamot and jasmine.

What a beautiful perfume! I just took it off from the drawer where it was stored for a month and, despite the fact that it is too hot in my city today, I used it and I loved it!! It is a sweet but not overwhelming toasted coconut scent, with a hint of liquor and oud (almost imperceptible). It is creamy, soft and a little bit ambered. Gorgeous!!

smells like s sweeter Gourmandy version of Penhaligons Tragedy of Lord George, or like you are wearing it at a movie theater enjoying your Buttery Salty Popcorn and a Pack of Rollo's has also a Waxy musky Color Crayon vibe at times as well with Roasted Coconuts..! Love it will be trying to get a 3rd bottle!

Opens with coconut rum. Very tropical. I'm also getting a very strong cardamom impression, even though it's supposedly not in here. In style, this is similar to Minuit et Demi but with a coconut suntan lotion overtone. I got 3-4 hours at medium projection. Overall, well executed and really beautiful. 9/10

Wow wow wow, I loved the siren but this is miles better, this is one of the best fragrances I now own. Unique and amazing. I do not get any oud, I do get honey, coffee, praline, and a tad bit of salt. This is sweet and too die for, On a side note the box and bottle look awesome.

Just for the record so that everyone is aware. All the reviews here especially the negative ones are all fake! These fragrances have yet to be released. Just a bunch of impotent little petulant brats hating on another man's success. Get a life!

What a stunner. Emptied the bottle within 2 months. This will forever be in my top 3 sensual, sexy, rum and coconut magic potion. Delicious! Obsessed. It is discontinued now and I sooo wish I had 10 backup bottles of this beauty.

I blind bought this one, waited for it 4 weeks to arrive...but it is really a sunny, lazy Caribbean day with a fancy cup of rum- coconut cocktail in your hand. Gives you a vibe of happiness.

Ambrosia was the nectar of the gods, meaning 'not mortal', precisely because it was thought to be able to confer beauty and immortality with its taste sweeter than honey. This fragrance is a representation of the flavour of the nectar of the gods: gourmand, sweet, with notes of liquorice combined with honey, praline and a touch of coconut, it succeeds in being balanced and truly sensual. I am not a lover of the genre, but this olfactory symphony for me has something highly magnetic, I find it really beautiful, as well as elegant. To be used during the cooler seasons, very high sillage and lasting. "Mount Olympus" painted by Giulio Romano.

Dense vanilla note sitting on a bed of 🧂, 🥥 and 🥃. Awesome scent profile, but I found most of the listed notes to be indistinguishable. In other words, you’re getting a vanilla bomb with muddled nuance. Can get cloying to the point of nausea. You know how so many frags tone down to a vanilla skin scent? That skin scent is this scent, amped up to 11. Longevity is moderate. Projection is good, while it lasts. You can find a feminine lean if you’re looking for it, but truly unisex. Skanks out a little toward the end of the wearing. Ultimately, objectively good but certainly an acquired taste.

I had a sample of this when it was first released, wasn’t impressed, picked it up again recently, and it’s much improved. I am getting a hint of rum on a base of sweet, soft leathery oud. I would get a bottle of this if it wasn’t always sold out, but am not obsessed to the point that I need to track it down. I thought it was a limited release but it seems available for preorder on the website ZERO relationship to Angel’s Share. I do not understand why spicy Amber fragrances are consistently compared to angel’s share. It smells absolutely nothing like it, sharing only a touch of booze.

The opening is sweet, gourmand, sexy, and seductive. On the dry-down, this reminds me of Jet Black Enigma a little. It smells more masculine at this end of it's life. It becomes mysterious and dark and spicy. It's nice, but not something that I find interesting for myself. Gave this to my fiance to see how she likes it, and how it comes off on her.

The opening to me borders a smoky citrusy leather...def not gourmand at all. It's okay...from all the hype I was expecting something on another level. This literally is just okay. While it dries down the bergamot and coconut stand out more, and the smoky/leathery smell I was getting tones down into woody notes. I sprayed this on both a test strip and my skin....on the test strip it calms down to a light, slightly sweet coconutty/bergamot scent. On my skin it stays very potent, and in the beginning I get more of the bergamot, coconut wood scent. A couple hours later the woody scent becomes the most prominent, leaning a little too masculine on me. I can see how this is considered unisex, but as mentioned I feel this def leans masculine. Possibly good for pairing with something sweet to balance for a more feminine vibe, but I would not wear this on it's own. Overall this to me is also a Fall or evening scent. This is def not a love at 1st sniff, but the more I smell it, the more interested I am in it. Still though because it smells so masculine, I am more annoyed by it on me than I am intrigued. So I have not completely decided how I feel about it. The bottle is nice, and the weight of it along with the cap are higher quality, which makes me happy to add it to my collection of fragrances. I cannot foresee myself reaching for this often, but will revisit it later this year once Fall comes back around.

Opens very gourmand, moves into semisweet smooth woods, then after a couple hours the sweetness fades and the musk/oud emerges more strongly. It's almost as if it transitions from traditionally sunny/sweet fem, into woody unisex (my favorite stage), then into a more traditionally masculine leaning frag. It's an interesting scent story but too challenging for my taste. Review of full bottle blind-buy. Decluttered. The bottle is so beautiful and well-crafted, I'll miss it in my collection.

I like the fragrance. I loved it at first, but now that I've sat with it I keep wishing the coconut wasn't such a front runner. I keep wanting the fig and booze more. This would have been absolutely exceptional in a slightly adjusted direction as coffee being the main player. I appreciate it for what it is, though. Edit: This layers incredibly well with the Electimuss Patchouli collection.

I've worn this a few times now, all during summer down under. I really want to like this, but something about it smells like rotten fruit, and it makes my stomach turn. Longevity and projection are both pretty good. It's powerful stuff. Maybe it will smell better in autumn and winter?

Coconut, booze, and leather. Not sweet.

For me this misses the mark due to the coconut. A gourmand that seeks to be luxurious and evoke images of Mt Olympus should not use the same stuff that's found in bargain barrel fake tan (coconut). Yes I apply this principle to other niche scents (Santal Complet., Virgin Island Water etc etc.). However even if you can get over this issue, then at best it's still only a fairly average gourmand. Very disappointing compared to The Siren.

Honey. Coconut flakes. Musk. That’s all I get on my skin. It’s unisex but I could see this smelling really nice on a man, but it’s too linear and musky for my personal taste. Could just be my skin though as it seems others do get the gourmands in the notes.

I will have to revisit this after letting it sit for a while, hopefully it changes. As of now it smells like charred wood and nothing else. No sweetness, no notes besides oud. It just smells like an extinguished bon fire.

I've had this for about 8 months and have worn it about 6-8 times (I have over 100 fragrances) It really is masculine leaning to something sweet. It's potent and long lasting. If you can find a bottle, I would try to get it. The bottle presentation of the 4.0oz is really something remarkable. I recently ordered a few others from this house, even though this was a curly scents x zaharoff and they have something different going on there from other companies. If you're looking for something honey that is sweet and clean, then go with Xerjoff Naxos, or 1 Million Elixir - both are a solid 10. This has the Oud and Musk that makes it a bit darker. A famous compliment in Japan would be "it's not too sweet."

On me, the fig note relies pulls forward. It smelled also so familiar to me. It took me a minute to figure it out but it reminds me of Ashoka by Neela Vermeire. It must be the fig and sandalwood combination that makes these two so similar to my nose. I don't get any boozy notes from this perfume, nor any coconut. It's beautiful but I already own Ashoka so this would be redundant for my particular nose. This one is priced much friendlier than Ashoka so if you happen to have the latter one on your wish list, it might be worth checking out this one instead.

An impressive looking pyramid - so my expectations were quite high. Alas, all i get is a leathery odour for the dry down (i guess its the cashmere?...dunno) and nothing else. Pretty poor overall. Not sure what the other reviewers are on about quite frankly. ThornyComplexRose is closer to the mark...sadly. Overall IMO this is purely a marketing excercise - the Andrea Charls promo, the pyramid (really...can anyone hand-on-heart pick out any of those notes?..fig, praline???), the packaging...etc. Avoid.

Amazing scent with the booze and smokiness touch to it. Of the Immortals carries off my skin like a calm, smoother version of Nishane Fan Your Flames . My only downside for me is the performance which last about 5 hours off my skin. I typically expect beastmode 10+ hours performance for fragrances in this price range. ✌🏽

This is beautiful. To me this smells like a cross between Lattafa khamarah and eight and bob annecke 5. Which are both the most delicious smelling fragrances. And of the immortals is delicious and sexy .. curly scents and Zaharoff knocked it out of the park !

I am wondering how there is any opinion on this fragrance as it has not shipped, I don’t care about the fake news, all I’m saying to readers is, don’t believe the hype.

Only a true first impression.... off skin, with dabber, reminds me of Noir Illuminé by Amouroud with a lot of booze.... will keep testing and observing

More than anything, this smells like a coconut macaroon. It's very gourmand with just enough wood to keep you from sinking your teeth into it.

I am looking for a bottle or some remaining quantity in a bottle of this beautiful fragrance. If someone sells theirs please pm me.
