Signature Extrême Parfum Extrait

The fragrance that embodies "Don't judge a book by its cover." Don't let the polarizing, yet weirdly addicting opening scare you off. Its like a dragon protecting a vast treasure. This one, I didn't like it at first, at all. The opening pushed me to draw conclusions fast. You get a blast of dirty, oudy, smokey birch. Its very dirty. But then, against all odds, the opening grew on me. And then, I was revealed a mid and drydown that are absolutely heavenly. This scent is vastly different from opening to drydown, its a ride. Very long lasting, not overpowering (after it settles), but very present. Believe it or not, I wear this in hot weather in Mexico. The first 30 minutes give or take are going to be more polarizing (and you may just fall in love after a few wearings like I did), but after that it starts to morph into a deep myrrh heavy, incense delight that I can't get enough of. In summary, polarizing opening that has potential to be that weird, dirty smell addiction that grows on you out of nowhere. Mid and drydown - frankincense and myrrh heaven that doesn't quit. A true fragrance roller coaster. Sample, sample, sample first. But, you need a MINIMUM of three separate and FULL wearings to allow your nose to flower to the magic of this one. At the end, you may find yourself with one of those hidden gems that not everyone gets, but you adore. And surprisingly, is cold weather and warm weather versatile.

Was not immediately a love for me in all honesty. It starts off a bit here and a bit there with a smokiness that initially almost seems out of place. After a couple minutes it starts to calm down and I can detect less smokiness and spice and oud start to make themselves felt. Around the same time a creaminess comes into play like chocloate but not chocolate in smell. It is at this point that I really find it near impossible to stop smelling it. Give it a few wears and I think most will really begin to fall in love with this one as I did

This juice is a BEEEEEEEEEEAST. And in a good way. Zaharoff really turned up the concentration from the original. Still smells like the original but much more potent. And it wasn't weak to begin with. Using this in moderation is the key. More is not better, regardless of how much you may brag about how many sprays you're wearing.

Come on man! This smells clean. This smells like that heavy duty industrial grade abrasive green soap mechanics use. The kind that comes in big metal cans. Edit: And there might be some beef jerky in there.

This is a dark and dirty (in a great way) version of Signature Pour Homme. I really love this version!

I'd say this projects really strong for half an hour, then settles closer but lasts a good 6-8 hours as a more intimate masculine scent. Opening kind of reminds me of sauvage elixir if you replaced the nutmeg and liqourice for oud and rosemary. Just a similar spicy aromatic vibe in the opening, not that the notes smell the same but it gives a similar feeling. Wish that opening carried through as I don't love the smell closer to skin, smells soapy and smokey and missing that oud and spice from the first half hour.

It took me a while to come around to this fragrance. The opening is a bit harsh and dirty, but the dry down is amazingly masculine and clean. This is a deeper, darker and more EXTREME version of Signature Pour Homme. The name is justified!

The somewhat fougere-like opening was confusing but didn’t last long. Within 5–10 minutes, it smelled of smoky cardamom and resinous, green wood with a touch of apple sweetness. Uplifting!

After my disappointing experience with Seraphim Blue, I'm now about halfway through my 5ml of this one. It is certainly better than seraphim...but that's a low bar. Masculine and pleasant to the nose. But yet again, (not to sound pretentious as fuck) the blending here feels really messy and poorly done. Perhaps that is why everyone mentions the confusing and abrasive opening / mid of the fragrance. For a good while the notes conflict with each other and it just feels amateur, almost as if the pleasant dry down happens by coincidence. Nothing here feels intentional. It also kind of smells like a ripe banana in the early stages, not really in an unpleasant way but fascinating! I'm really hoping at-least Tabac or Black Rose can redeem this brand, but Zaharoff really isn't working for me right now.

First I read the reviews as I stared at the sample that I got from scent split. As always you get a few good and a few bad reviews. When I put this on a scent strip, at first like everybody mentioned on here, the opening for the first 10 minutes is perplexing. In my opinion it's not bad. I just think to get to that dry down dark beautiful scent all these notes felt jumbled together in the opening only. Only then after the first 10 minutes as they settle and spread out it becomes way better, if that makes sense. I then put it on skin. Patience. Patience is key. In today's world everything is done in an instant. Be GrubHub or doordash or whatever you want, everything is done quickly. When it comes to fragrances we can all learn a lot from the word patience. Wait for the Mid & drydown. After the opening, this fragrance in my opinion got awesome and continued to last. This Zaharoff , as far as a dark mysterious scent is the best in their house. Guys you got to try this. Sample this!!! And I'm very picky when it comes to masculine scents and things that are not unisex leaning feminine. This is pure male and good too! They took the Signature DNA and made it the way it should have been in the first place. These notes worked perfectly.

This is definitely strong in a good way. I let mine sit for a month or so. I love it. Very therapeutic. I could wear this one to the gym, or before I go to bed. Breath in the aromas and sweet dreams.

Not sure what others are smelling in this scent but I smell beef jerky and for that reason it’s a no from me dawg. This scent needs to be discontinued in a hurry. No, double no.

Another beautiful creation by the team at Zaharoff and its master perfumer Claude Dir!! What an amazing fragrance! Sweet dark and mysterious perfect for any occasion!

After about 30-60 minutes this is straight up Greek Orthodox Church. Beautiful scent, but up close, on the skin - it’s a little too much.
