Signature Leather Tabac

A smokey incense & leather fragrance that's not for the faint of heart. This fragrance is not a mass appealing or versatile fragrance by any stretch of the imagination, but what it does, it does very very well. A fantastic and incredibly loud blend of smokey leather, incense and tobacco. If you were a priest clad in leather, rising from the ashes of a burnt down church, banishing demons with your thurible, this is how I imagine you would smell like. Now, as someone who loves this fragrance dearly, I still struggle to think of an appropriate time to wear it. I wouldn't wear this with a suit, or to the office (unless you want people to pass out in the elevator), or to an intimate dinner date. I think this would be great when worn to an outdoor event, or somewhere you're less likely to smoke out out your companions. Obviously, go easy on the sprays. Also, as I've discovered, it a great scent to layer with other warm sweet fragrances that might lack that smokey punch.

This smells like Macho Man smoking cigars. Ultra manly. If you can't bench at least two plates on each side, you have no business wearing this. This is a warm, spicy leather fragrance. The tobacco and leather notes are prominent. The tobacco is spicier than the regular Zaharoff Signature Tabac. The leather reminds me of black leather in a leather store. Very good leather here. Although the notes here and in Zaharoff's site don't mention whiskey as a note, I smell it. It's subtle, but enough to make me feel like it's almost a boozy scent. I like it. The drydown reminds of of Amouage Interlude Man. It's similar to the oregano scent, but not quite. I want to say it's the birch tar and frankincense. I keep smelling myself in the drydown because I like it so much. Performance and longevity are bordering beast mode. This is definitely a winter/night scent. Go easy on the sprays. Overall, very macho scent like a 90s action hero.

Kraft! Power! This fragrance is a beast in all the best ways. The reviews that say it’s too strong, or there is too much leather, or too much tobacco!?!?! I guarantee if you look through these people’s review history it will be filled with complaints of underpowered and underwhelming performance. People are silly. If you want a strong and masculine tobacco leather you need to no further. People give George Z crap for working with YouTube reviewers but he is a standout guy. He even answers his own emails. I now own three bottles and hope to grow my collection. Do not hesitate. Zaharoff is the real deal.

Absolutely nothing to do with Signature Tabac. This is what Knize Ten Eau Extreme would smell like if they made it. A little darker leather and smoother than Knize Ten, but even bigger, and I didn't know "bigger" than Knize Ten was possible. Maybe you never tried Knize Ten but you've tried 1740. 1740 is like Sauvage compared to this. Wear it to your neighborhood hookah lounge, old school casino, biker bar, or Grateful Dead concert. Even then 1-2 sprays will still be noticed.

Lol. This absolutely nothing like Amouage Royal Tobacco. WTH is wrong with your noses people??? If it's similar to anything, its Layton Exclusif. That being said if you own LEx, this is redundant. The drydown is slightly different Royal Tobacco is a completely different animal. I own them all. Trust me. Oh wow. Ok. This is an identical copy of Layton Exclusif or vice versa. I can't tell the difference between the two.

Opening is fresh spicy with pepper and aromatic herbs like sage and rosemary As the fragrance dries the main star leather emerges, it is however soft leather, like freshly brushed suede but also dense and sticky, as if painted over with birch tar It is accompanied by tobacco and lots of sweet and smokey incense The entire composition is slightly sweetened by honey Very unique take on a leather fragrance

“I live life as I say, or not at all.” -Clint Eastwood-. Tobacco, leather, smoke with a slightly sweet background, but totally hard, incisive, a fragrance I would define as Clint Eastwood. There, yes, that's him, with a cigar in his mouth and his eyes so deep. So powerful that it comes out magnetic, extremely attractive and warm, elaborate. A wonderful olfactory experience.

It's a little off putting 1st time spraying it have had complements from people saying Christmas, I love the dry down! it gets addictive I like it more and more using it.. I can see how this might not be every ones cup of tea, but who it is for they will love it..!!! you can get a 2ml tester for $5 and make sure you try it more then once or twice...! best in cold weather

This is a rugged and smooth at the same time it also makes me think about wolverine from X-Men it is perfect for a cigar lounge it blends very well with the cigar smoke, wearing this makes me imagine doing 100 one hand push-ups with two cigars in your mouth with a battleship sitting on your back it super strong and it's not for everyone but it is for me

Zaharoff has nothing but classy, sophisticated gentlemen fragrances. All are top tier. Leather Tabac is no exception! Sexy dark and a powerhouse performer! Don’t listen to any childlike responses to people who just don’t like the brand. This one is best suited for fall and winter especially at suit and tie events.

Anyone who speaks negatively about this fragrance is angry they can’t afford it or they are that “parfums vintage” guy smdh. This is by far the greatest fragrance of MY TIME and I’ll dare someone to show me something better. If you’re interested in this BUY IT ASAP!!

Oud is the star here, intensely arriving center stage about an hour after the opening. Slightly animalic but pleasant and addictive. Intensity falls during dry down and plays nice with the other notes. Well balanced and highly wearable in usual Zaharoff fashion.

I'd understand if the frag is not your taste but to rate it as "very weak" and "intimate" is just downright silly and reeks of a hater. Says a lot about the credibility and integrity of Fragrantica as a whole. Really sad.

Tobacco, smokey, incense fragrance not for the faint hearted. Well blended and quite unique cold weather scent. Only had a sample but will definitely buy a bottle. It's a 10 for me.

A in your face masculine scent . I get smoky and spicy tobacco (Oreintal and Latakia tobacco) along with leather, woods and musk. long lasting and a very enjoyable scent.

This is one of the most amazing leather/tobacco fragrance. 10/10 with beast mode performance

Testosteronic, strong leather-tobacco fragrance with a subtle smoky touch. Is super dry and definitely not one for the bubblegum boys. Super performance. Strong sillage and projection for a few hours. Longevity is over 12 hours. At the 12 hours mark I was still getting whiffs just sitting still. EDP concentration per the Zaharoff website. Did not get a sweaty armpit BO scent from the cumin. Try Dodo 2020 or the opening of Overture Man for that. What it does have in the background supporting the leather-tobacco is a musky man scent similar to Tous 1920 or after the dry down of Overture Man. Combined with the dryness, makes it hyper masculine. Nice to see a company label a perfume like this "for men" instead of taking the lazy "unisex" approach on every fragrance. I really liked this one and will be getting a FB. Will be perfect for Fall and Winter. Of course, not a hot weather scent. Very wearable. If you're mainly into sweet perfumes, forget it. If Overture Man or Cuoium give you an anxiety attack or if you have nightmares about Kouros or Guilty Absolute, you can definitely avoid Signature Leather Tabac.

I first tried this amongst a few other Zaharoff fragrances and I really liked it, good performance, and smelled like a beefed and spi ed up version of Signature Tabac. Comparing the 2 I liked Leather Tabac way more for all of the reasons. I finally got around to buying a bottle and since I liked it so much I grabbed the big bottle and it's definitely been reformulated from what was in my sample. It's a lot more animalic, which I tend to like, but it's almost too much, and that's saying a lot as I'm extremely tolerant when it comes to the "stinky" fragrance notes. The old formula was perfectly done, and it's a shame it's changed as much as it has because it's now going to take me years to get through this bottle instead of probably finishing it this winter. Kind of bummed, might have to get a bottle of Signature Tabac now to fill the void, lol. Maybe they'll layer together to make something like the old formulation of Leather Tabac.

This stuff is wild. Starts out as photorealistic damp pipe tobacco, and a touch of leather with a honied undertone. Settles down as the leather note becomes more prominent and refines the scent. I can smell a touch of animalic, fecal oud. The über realistic oud accord melts into a suede note... There's strong, resonant nuance at play. Every listed note is detectable before it melds in with the overall composition, then sways and reappears periodically while being omnipresent in the undertone. This is a mildly challenging wear and a very particular one. You have to like leather and tobacco leaves. This isn't cigarette tobacco. So dress up and find the right time and place. This stuff will make you shine like a sunbeam. Leather Tabac just falls short of a 😍 rating for me. That said, I've never been closer to a 5/5 scent without it being one. 4.8/5. 🙂➕

When you Really want to be the boss of the room when wearing a Zaharoff, this is the one. The sweet tobacco from Tabac is still present, but is now in the supporting role to leather/suede and birch tar. To me this is like a bit of Absolu Aventus mixed with Tuscan Leather, and Tabac underneath. It's powerful, dominant, in control, and not shy about it in any way. The perfect fragrance for the colder half of the year when the situation calls for confidence, or dominance. It can be a bit too much, if you're not that guy. It's Bold and Beautiful. Personal score: 8.5/10. I'm not a "leather" kind of guy. I don't have a leather jackets or pants and i don't really wear leather fragrances. But I do wear Leather Tabac on ocations. But it's not as often as it deserves.

I love this scent quite a bit. I do not mind the Cumin at all. ( Bois Mysterieux might have cumin) It's a great blend. I do wish they could have amped up the Black Pepper, Myrrh and Frankincense. Not bad at all. I'm normally not big on rose ( TF Noir de Noir) but this does it well. I would buy a 4 oz bottle. This is not similar to Lalique Ombre Noire. Not even close. It is more similar to Amouage Opus XIV Royal Tobacco to some degree. And it's almost similar to Montale Infinity due to the Oud Rose combination.

After loving the original and reading the reviews of this I went on to blind buy this one. Its good, but I like the original better. The original is in my opinion just more...well original. To me this smells like a slighlty less strong Amouage Opus XIV Royal Tobacco, which I intended to buy sometime anyways, so this will do just fine. I think I expected the original to get more of a leather note, which sounds very interesting.This is not the case, hence the dissapointment. Otherwise, this is a great fragrance.

Leather suede honey... Leather tobacco that turns to sweet suede. Cumin is not that much visible in here, the star anise is big, rosemary, & clary sage is quite obvious as well, while the drydown brings out the crispy apples note clearly with honeydew and sweet caramel plummy tobacco, and honestly the drydown is like sweet honey Arabian hookah specially with the visibility of the green apples. The blend smells quite new, and it is beautiful indeed, sweet tobaccos suede spices. Beautiful.

Got a sample of this a while back and I was blown away. It is dark, spicy, slightly sweet and very animalic. Definitely a head turner but not something I would wear every day. I'm glad to have this in my collection even though it is a just a mere sample. Anyone who is thinking about purchasing this, get a sample first.

It's ok. It's good Not super crazy good but good. Surprise that I received few compliments from ladies...Can be great on someone with big beard and leather jacket. Need to wait 30 minutes to appreciate. Not enjoyable first half an hour. After that kinda heaven. But again, not super. But ok.

At first all I could smell was the carpet of a working men's club. But, like a friend or relative who smokes, it soon becomes warmth and comfort. Lasts a good long time. Depending on how closely you're working with people, I wouldn't say a daily spray is overpowering.

In simple terms, if you’ve smelled Royal Tobacco by Amouage, this is just the less-interesting & weaker cousin. Not a bad fragrance by any means, but I’d definitely choose RT over this 9/10 times

A heavy dose of Cypriol, a pinch of Spice & a pinch of Tobacco meets John Varvatos Dark Rebel. Thats what it is.

They put a leather belt inside a bottle and infused vodka with it. But that's boring so they threw in some spices and made up a bunch of notes that aren't real. And still it just smells like leather. It's alright, not a big fan of leather. Cool bottle. But the best thing to come out of this are the reviews below. "He, who has the balls. A. Man." is probably the best thing I've ever read on this site. Masculine fragrances bring out some of the goofiest reviews, and this website is already enough of a circus.

Due to the heavy praise by literally every online perfume enthusiast that I follow I thought this would be a safe blind buy. Turns out its absolutely not! Too heavy on the tobacco/leather combination and not in a good way. Not wearable enough IMHO. Beast mode performance to be honest that's why i'm keeping it in my collection I'm not going to give it away.

Not original at all. Once you have discovered the house of Zaharoff you have smelled this kind of fragrance a hundred times. Big disappointment. My first Zaharoff I tried. Nice birch tar note but other than that it’s wack af. Synthetic with nice birch tar. 3.5/5

Sample ordered directly from Zaharoff... As mentioned previously, I was smacked in the face and bowled over thinking I was hit by an 80s square body rusted truck held together by duct tape... the seats were leather with cigarette burn holes and torn to shreds. Something electrical is burning in the damn truck causing it to smoke away while a fat dude who hasn't showered in a month was driving in 115 degree heat sweating away with a body odor. I thought Ombre Nomade hit me... That was dior eau sauvage edt in comparison to this. I mean... I secretly want to like it but I think the little sample will last me a lifetime. This is a frag if you want to go get into bar fights in a seedy bar in a small town that has one stop sign. Good luck to those who wear this frequently. You got some big brass set on you. You get em buddy!

First of all, this smells nothing like Interlude Man. Folks, not everything with more than two spices smells like Interlude Man and not everything with tobacco and vanilla smells like Tabacco Vanille. Opening: Leather and birch tar. A lot of both. Dry Down: This is smoky, tarry, leather with a hint of tobacco. It smells like something Zoologist would make. Kind of like a mechanic's garage where he has been smoking and spilling oil. I love Claude Dir's fragrances and the Zaharoff house but this simply isn't for me. It is 100% NOT a safe blind buy. DISCLAIMER: This is using my nose and my skin, both of which can be prone to silliness. You might smell something completely different than me and that's the great thing about fragrance. I don't mean any hate with my reviews.

This smacked me in the face so hard my eyes watered, for about 10 minutes. Smoke, tar, and body odor? I think that's the cumin coming in strong at the start. It settles into a nice smokey leather scent, although intensely traditionally masculine. Not my style and that opening is a bit too rough and loud for me. Growing up poor meant that every year my mother would buy me 1 pair of sneakers under $70 for school and 1 pair of dress shoes from Payless for church. Leather Tabac smells just like those $30 church shoes. I honestly wanted to enjoy this fragrance as many of my favorite YT reviewers love the brand and their offerings. Sadly, I do not. I know it’s popular to condemn reviewers and their products as shills, but personally I don’t care as I like to form my own opinions (especially with something as subjective as perfumery) when a sample from the brands site is only $7. Life story and convictions aside, I found nothing special or appealing about this one.

For me persoanlly, The leather is wayyyy too strong in this one :(. It s wayyyy too overpowering and I don't like this note. Shoe on fire.

I gave Zaharoff Leather Tabac multiple chances, but not only can I not bring myself to wear this, I can barely understand its raison d’être. What I consider the three main notes, leather, tobacco and incense are dialed up to dominating, uncomfortable levels. If this was music, it would be like having the snare drum, lead guitar and lead vocals cranked up to ear-splitting levels and leaving the rest of the composition in distant shambles. A great perfume must first capture a sense of humanity, then the fragrance story can be written over that. A human, who recently came from church, or a day at the beach, or a fresh cut and shave from the barbershop... Without the element of humanity the artist/perfumer is just making “smells” and the wearer is simply a medium. Zaharoff is at its best when using restraint. Powerful, evocative notes harnessed by the man wearing them - allowing the man to take center stage and allowing the man to be remembered, not his unnaturally loud cologne.

Wow absolute beast of a scent,was a bit taken back at 1st whiff.Definitley not for the faint of heart. Go easy spraying this one id say 2 sprays max. Smells like freshly laid tarmac at 1st but dry down is addictive. I find the quality in Zaharoff is fantastic,I've had royale and signature noir previously and they are both classy scents.This one however is animalic and if I'm honest too strong. Definitely sample 1st as it won't be for everyone.

Upon spraying this I am met with yet another tired concept meant to capture the attention of the Tom Ford Private Blend normie-niche set: a nice enough leather and tobacco with malty, sweet elements. Certainly nothing that blows my shorts off, and certainly nothing that can't be had, with more refinement—and a similar or even lower price point. This has been on my hand long enough. Time to wash it off and put on some Peau d'Espagne.

I thought nothing could top Mancera Red Tobacco EDP and extrait, and then I found this unbelievable concoction. It is absolutely stunning if you are a lover of tobacco and oud mixtures. Now the two are 1A and 1B and the hierarchy changes depending on the day and my mood. If you’re a lover of these notes and you prefer beast mode fragrances, you cannot go wrong with these two masterpieces. Treat yourself!

Zaharoff have some of the best designs when it comes to bottles or branding. Regarding the juice it’s a different story. Even though I was never satisfied with any of their releases, I keep on trying hoping that one day I’ll get satisfaction. Till then it’s ok, but nothing great.

The opening is good, but in the drydown honestly reminds me of a fuller, rounder montale full incense with more depth, an incense bomb in the drydown to my nose. I don't have any other reference yet

This is what Amouage Overture Man would smell like if if it were actually wearable. Manly, sweet, boozy, cinnamon like leather. This is the first leather fragrance I'm going to purchase.

This was a scrubber for me, great if you like smelling like an ashtray in a biker bar. Nuclear strength and 10 to 12 hours longevity.. proceed with caution.

Incense, tobacco and star anise. Great composition. Well blended as you can see how each note is represented but the 3 that I stated are front and center.

This IS very similar to Royal Tobacco. Less ashy but just as potent and jaut as tobaccoish. Very good for strong, masculine fragrance lovers.

Sweet , tobacco, incency leather fragrance . Good fragrance , but I prefer Tom ford ombre leather Parfum. Little similar to Luten's Cherugi
