Signature Rosé

Signature Rose opens up with a rich honeyed raspberry-tinged rose with a lemony green rose underneath it. It plays on a slight citric vibe with a sweet rich rose to bolster it. Despite the sweetness of the Bulgarian rose, this is not sickening or cloying because it's real rose. Real rose doesn't become overbearing even when it's sweet. It's just a beautiful honeyed rose to me. When it starts to dry down, you start getting some of the resins. The frankincense gives a very slight whiff of smoke. It's so slight that you could miss it if you weren't looking for it. Sweet and effortlessly spicy myrrh mingles with a rich vanilla note. This could be the amber as well. I am not entirely sure on that one. I am not entirely sure what sugar cane smells like. There is some sweetness in here that I don't attribute to the rose or amber/vanilla, so I am guessing that it's coming from the sugar cane. You also give a very faint whiff of the buttery sandalwood that Zaharoff loves to use in his creations. Like most of the other Zaharoff fragrances, I do not pick up the oud. I am not sure if I am just not familiar with Chinese oud or that he uses it in small amounts and I can't detect it. Zaharoff Signature Rose is my favorite Zaharoff thus far. It's rich, complex, yet versatile enough to wear in the heat. I do think it's better for cooler weather though. The sweetness of the rose reminds me a little bit of the Declaration D'un Soir's rose. It's not completely like that, but a minor similarity. It doesn't smell like the Cartier, but if you like the Cartier, then you will probably enjoy this one as well. George has taken a note that can be difficult to make unisex and made it super versatile and wearable by anyone. I love this and I see the care that George put into selecting the ingredients for this one and pairing it with his popular Signature Noire base. This is also a fragrance that lasts 10 hours on me. So, don't overspray this one. It's much stronger than you might think it is. This one is well worth even the $145 price tag to me, but I still suggest sampling it first. If you don't like Rose, then you won't like this. It is very rose dominant.

This is my first try of the most recent release from Zaharoff, Signature Rosé (and pardon me if I leave off the accent subsequently), the fourth incarnation of the Zaharoff Signature DNA, with the original as the base and inspiration, and, as its name suggests, pivoting toward a rose-intense experience that’s also evocative of the rosé beverage. It’s pretty remarkable from the onset, and I rather quickly get several intersecting types of rose fragrances that I’ve experienced before—the jammy/syrupy rose, the incense/resinous rose, the fresh rose—and robust inclusion of aldehydes that creates some effervescence ala a sparkling rosé wine. It’s very well-blended in that the rose aspects do not come off sharp, and no particular characterization (jammy, fresh, resinous) seems to stand out too much. Also, it’s clearly dense but does not feel overpowering, great performance with being too overloaded in any particular aspect. It feels like the result of a long, patiently-approached process of blending several roses. Beyond the roses (Turkish and Bulgarian), there are resins (amber, myrrh, oud, olibanum), mostly, along with sugarcane, vanilla, and sandalwood. In this respect, it feels like a pretty straightforward note breakdown but the execution is simply excellent, not surprising in that in comes from Zaharoff, but still a bit remarkable in that few rose fragrances seem this balanced. The rose notes themselves aren’t overwhelming (even with rose being the dominant aspect of the rose) that it’s so bluntly a rose fragrance; even the typically rose-averse may greatly enjoy this due the resins and effective blending of the roses with the resins. Again, it performs very well, and is priced in a similar range to the rest of the collection, at $145 for 60ml via the Zaharoff website. Overall, it’s really a superb fragrance, period, and is a wonderful rose offering that generously provides a blended rose (and rosé aspect) for those of us that really enjoy rose. I’d certainly recommend that everyone check this out! 8 out of 10

Received this for Christmas and just applied. Earlier this summer I requested two samples from the website and George sent them for free. I used this to add/layer rose to traditional mens scents and also alone as a rose fragrance. When my decant was finished I couldn't stop thinking about it. This is a stunning, beautiful, slighty sugary, airy, incense rosÉ. My wife smelled it on me and instantly gave the approval and she's hard to impress. She hates most unisex scents and tends to lean more toward traditional mens fragrances. Without prompting she leaned over and smelled my wrist and said its definitely unisex but leans masculine on my skin. I couldn't agree more. This smells nothing like perfumers workshop tea rose, or toy boy, ha. Furthermore, after seeking out and testing countless "manly rose" fragrances this one is unique and doesn't really share a scent profile with anything Ive tested. The performance is goldilocks on this one. I think its worth every penny. The scent trail is heavenly. I am not a Zaharoff fan boy. I sampled the whole line from Zaharoff and I wasn't really too impressed by the rest. They wore too light, lacked performance, and the notes didnt match up with what I smelled on my skin. The other one that stood out was signature pour homme. It does have designer qualities but its just such a well done fragrance that could easily be a signature scent. If you read some reviews on it that's pretty much the consensus. As much as I just talked this up I don't think its blind buy worthy. I 100% recommend sampling this if you seek out a rose forward fragrance, man or women. For a man, I think you need to experience a few rose fragrances before you try this one to appreciate the artistry. As much as its branded a rose fragrance for men you need some background as reference to this area of perfumery to identify what everyone is talking about. This one is wonderful and I will always have a bottle in my collection.

The best 🌹rose fragrance I have ever smelled! I am not a rose lover or wearer by any means in fragrances I rather prefer it on my woman. As a middle eastern I use to be sick of rose smells because growing up it was always in my vicinity but now I appreciate the notes of rose in fragrances and this one heavily takes the cake. This fragrance can easily be worn on wedding days. It’s so elegant and pleasing to smell. This is the most photorealistic Rose smelling fragrances you’ll ever smell 100%. I have smelled a few rose fragrances before and I would rank signature rose first only because there are few varieties of roses in this fragrance. A close second would be Frédéric Malle’s Portrait Of A Lady however there are more notes in that fragrance. This was a blind buy for me and I was a bit hesitant. I was praying this stuff does not smell feminine and sickly sweet and cloying. However, I was very wrong. Signature Rosé is unisex both men and women can equally pull this off and if sure depending on body chemistry it would smell differently on a man vs a lady. I was blown away by this masterpiece of Zaharoff’s Signature Rosè it’s very elegant and luxurious smelling and blended to perfection. There is nothing harsh about this fragrance I presume all the notes are natural and of high quality. Scent profile: On my skin what I get is this well-blended rose fragrance that smells Rosey, syrupy/jammy. It’s not sickly sweet or cloying by any means also there is this sandalwood component in this fragrance along with oud that makes this almost creamy the sweetness aspect comes from the sugar cane and vanilla FYI the oud in this fragrance is not skanky oud hell I don’t know if I can even detect oud in this and I’m not even there’s a subtle oud in the background in the dry down very minuscule. - I hope my review did you well this was a fantastic blind buy for me and I hope for you as well 🥂

⚘Z Rose ⚘ Its a sea of roses undulating from lemony Turkish roses to Bulgarian roses with an underpinning ever so slight of geranium to support the roses in a pleasant sea of bourbon vanilla, amber, and woods. Ancient resins of frankensense and myrrh weave in and out of the roses giving it a unisex vibe. The oud I feel augments the sandalwood to support the lovely rose opening. The sugarcane surfaces in the base to give it a sweet but not too sweet finish. Its really quite clever. There is a lot going on yet its masterfully restrained and understated- a true test of an excellent perfumer. Do not let the note list scare you into thinking its a heavy bombastic rose oud scent. It isnt. It holds the strict definition of luxury. A lot of fragrances claim to be unisex, but they have a masculine or feminine lean. This is straight up center for unisex. A mans musky chemistry adds more richness to it while the feminine chemistry popps the rose (which happened in my wearing). Its modern, lithe and will change your opinion on rose scents of you think rose is strictly grandmas territory. Rose is an easy modern wear for anytime you wish.🌹 Travel Spray reviewed.⚘

After spending a good week with this I can comfortably say that this is the best rose fragrance I ever laid my nose on. For whatever reason it's very difficult to get a fragrance to smell like the typical roses we are accustomed to. Several different rose oils are used in balanced concentrations to achieve a natural rose effect that's not too powdery, not too jammy, not too citrusy, not too green. Perfect. It's a combination of the quality and blending of the rose oils that makes this one special. Some nice nuances in the background, mostly dark and sweet with some woody, smoky, and resinous qualities. Leans unisex to slightly masculine. Exudes confidence and class. Longevity is excellent, and although the projection is moderate it really springs back with body heat. This tells me that the perfume concentration behaves like an extrait. Real talk, it's very expensive for the quantity of juice you get. Understandable once you know how much vabluable rose oil went into this. Superb craftsmanship. I am extremely happy with my purchase despite being much more stingy about adding new fragrances to my collection. A+.

This is the love-child of LV Les Sables Roses and PDM Delina Exclusif. No, seriously - and it's the best of both of them. Not as airy and dewey as LSR - whilst keeping the effervescence and clean, oil-slicky texture -- but also having the faint vanilla, vaguely incenseyness of DE, and keeping the mysterious supporting oudyness of both. All of the sharp edges and high-notes have been rounded off and smoothed out. What's left is a sensuous weighted blanket of pale pink-purple "Stainless Steel" roses at the blackening edges of dusk. Anyone can wear this in any season, day or night, but it requires of you the added effort of dressing up at least a little. There's definitely no schlepping it with this one. I'm extremely picky when it comes to rose scents, but this is wondrous. And honestly, I will look no further for the perfect rose fragrances. In my book, it's this one, Portrait of a Lady, Mirach, and Oud Satin Mood (extrait). I need no others.

Recently purchased a FB of this juice direct from Zaharoff US and it’s now right up there with Creed’s Green Irish Tweed as my top two favourite fragrances of all time. It’s only my 3rd Rose fragrance after Toy Boy and Sweet Rose by Mateu but this stuff blows them out of the water. I feel the Zaharoff leans more masculine despite being a sweet rose, I’ve tried it on my partner and my sister and neither were a fan but I think it’s one of the nicest things I’ve ever smelt. I notice that Sweet Rose by Rosendo Mateu is in the list of “this reminds me of” but trust me, I own both and they are nothing alike. The Mateu, whilst amazing, is more of a fruit scent and leans much for feminine than the Zaharoff. 10/10 for me, thank you GeeZee & Claude Dir for your work 👍

I have some good rose based fragrances like Montale’s Black Aoud and Mosquino Toy Boy but this one garnered the top spot. I adore this new Zaharoff Signature Rose. A gorgeous sweet rose that is now a staple among my men's floral fragrances. This is unisex and yet an alluring masculine rose scent. You can easily get the confidence to wear this one especially this season. On the right occasion, this can be worn by both young and mature folks in my opinion. I just love to catch that gorgeous whiff once in awhile. To my nose, it's simply wow! A 10/10 for me. “Let us spread the scents of peace and kindness. Im not really a rose person, but man does this smell good. Way, way way better than Lyric Man. This smells like an actual live, fresh rose. No grandmotherly powderiness that you get from Lyric Man when it dries down. Whereas Lyric Man turns powdery in the drydown, Signature Rose turns woody and a little sweet. This is just a smooth, calming dense rose. This smells as if someone just walked up and handed you a freshly picked rose moreso than it smells like a "rose fragrance". I was concerned that this might be a bit overhyped after reading a couple of less than stellar reviews, but nope..of youre looking for a high quality rose, this really is it. This along with Armani Rose D' Arabie are the 2 best rose scents Ive smelled.

I have had a travel spray of this awesome product for a few months now and very excited that my full bottle is up for delivery tomorrow. It is a beautiful fragrance and very different from the other 3 in the Zaharoff Signature collection. I didn't think more sweet and rose based fragrances like this one would appeal to me as I am generally more into classic masculine leaning products, but I find Rose to be strangely addictive and comforting to wear. The awesome drydown is probably my favourate part of the experience. It is the best performer out of all the Zaharoff fragrances (I own all of them) on my skin and now my second favourate after the original Signature Pour Homme.

Simply stunning, I wear this on occasions before bed as it is so relaxing to me. I have tried a couple of highly rated niche quality Rose frags (Atomic Rose / Portrait of a Lady) but there is something so calming about this one that stands out. I swear blind that my barber was cutting my hair and I applied this in advance, he started sneezing and I was panicking thinking "sh*t he thinks I stink" and he said "WOW what have you got on mate, its incredible but damn im clearly sensitive to Roses" which was unreal considering I didnt tell him what it was. Photorealistic is probably the best term, but its always nice to share an anecdote.

This is my forth from the house and by far the best Rose cologne I ever smelled. Even though I own over 300 colognes, I am very stingy in using my most favorite and expensive one and I use them very carefully for my personal enjoyment and this is definitely one of them. I haven't had full wearing yet (just one spray for testing (this was blind buy - All my Zaharoff colognes are blind buy and all are great)) so can't put my review about performance, dry down and sillage. George(the owner), thank you for bringing something extra ordinary. Always impressed and never disappointed from Zaharoff Products!

Just received my bottle today. Gorgeous is the first word that springs to mind. This fragrance is lush but very modern at the same time, and completely unisex. With lots of the Bulgarian "liquid gold" in the top and middle notes, this has instantly become one of my favorite rose fragrances. For the oud-averse, this is not heavy on oud. The clearly high quality ingredients are blended so well that the rose, oud, amber, resins, and vanilla become one deep and luxurious olfactory experience. Kudos to Monsieur Dir, who created this scent, and to George for bringing this into the world!

This fragrance is beautiful but it's not for me. The peony makes this a no go. The peony doesn't hang around for the whole life of the fragrance but it overstays its welcome on my skin. However, this smells amazing on my wife. Sweet (not jammy) bouquet of roses with a nice dose of peony. Incense is in the far background with amber smoothing it all out. A highly versatile perfume that's a must try. I purchased a bottle for my wife and I love smelling this on her. I'm going to give this another go when the weather warms up a bit. I'll update if needed. For me 7/10 On my wife 10/10

Incredibly realistic rose fragrance and it's creamy and smooth. There is a slight dark amber aspect to it that makes it more masculine leaning but can be worn by women. It's a super realistic rose scent. Truly. I'm no shill for zaharoff either as unfortunately their other fragrances have disappointed me with projection and sillage. I don't get that same disappointment here. Projection is just right if not strong. Very creamy, slightly dark and smooth. Well worth the money. I just wish signature pour Homme was like this in terms of quality but unfortunately it's not....sad day.

I was looking for a masculine rose fragrance that I could use for church, I serve the alter in an Eastern Orthodox Church and make sure the censers are ready for the clergy. This scent is truely a gift and smells like rose incense in the beat of ways, it does not give headaches infact now I wear it everywhere because of how calming it is to me. It’s so sophisticated and special but it dosent feel luxury it feels more comforting and mature, I really hope they do not discontinue this smell because I’d like to have it for the rest of my life

Warm rose water, sweetened, accompanied by close friend Vanilla. Slight fresh spicy gives it an edge and almost wet rose effect. All of this wrapped in smoke. My new signature scent. Funny, I tried this and portrait of a Lady at the start of my journey to find a signature rose scent. It has been difficult to find a rose fragrance truly unisex or masculine leaning, that is also GOOD. The funny part, where I started is where I am ending. This is my favorite fragrance of all time (as of right now). Absolutely beautiful. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea as it is a rose fragrance, but I can’t get enough of this. There is almost this gourmand edge to it that really gives it its character. This to me, is the definition of “perfumery as art”. This fragrance tells a story, invokes feelings, and puts me in a good mood. This will forever be a staple in my collection.

I really like this one, it’s quite unique; it has nothing in common with POAL which is a dark rose. This one to my nose it has more similarities to Dior Blooming bouquet which is a female perfume. Maybe due to the peony note. But this one is masculine; It’s like a fougerery rose; but not like Viking . It lasts for a while too; it comes and goes . When you think it’s gone; you get whiffs again

The first time I tested on wrist I thought this was a decent Rose fragrance, but with a full wearing venturing into the drydown the magic really appeared. The scent trail this leaves is wonderful at least on my skin. Has garnered compliments in close/mid range, best from Zaharoff next to Brass and Soul. Maybe too much rose for those looking for a more masculine scent.

Sweet watery Turkish roses with warm amber, gets smokier as it warms up on the skin but maintains its sweetness. This is a great rose-oud fragrance that doesn't lean too heavy or favor the oud more than the rose. Well-balanced. Can get away with this all year save too-warm spring days and all of summer. Slightly above arms' length on my skin, but definitely persists.

I got the sample and ordered the whole bottle the next second after the first sniff. This perfume is incredible. All I can add to the accurate descriptions of the previous commenters is I am addicted to it. What would describe this perfume best is it's a spiritual journey. This perfume is sacred rose.

Great rose scent. Slightly sweet, a little ambery, and very rosey. The rose is nice and fresh. It smells very rosey, but not too much to where it is feminine. This has a lovely scent trail and it performs great. This reminds me of rose vanille, but with a lot less sweetness, and much more fresh.

One of the best rose fragrances I have ever smelled. Mr. Zaharoff sent me a small decant and I couldn’t believe it. I don’t like rose fragrances and because of this, I can’t say that anymore. This is an incredible rose incense fragrance that I can wear and my wife.

A wonderful, unisex rose fragrance with long lasting power. This gives me "wedding at a Catholic Church" vibes. You have this beautiful aromatic rose with a hint of sweetness that morphs into rose with incense. Catholic Church incense. Recommend this one for sure.

Joyous! A lovely juicy rose with a warm, amber base. No hint of powder or soap. Just add some warm spice and perhaps an hint of leather and tobacco, and this is what I wish the weak and fougere/chypre-adjacent Halfeti Black Rose smelled like.

Love this! Rose, sugar, incense, and oud. Sparkling and sweet, like the alcoholic beverage of the same name. Effervescent, fresh, sweet, and warm at the same time. Perfect for all seasons. Not at all a "grandma" scent!

Similar to Oud Satin Mood EDP but this is a better rose/oud combination. A little more rose note where it needs to be in the top and mid makes it more pronounced and balanced without being overly aggressive.

I love this scent!! This is the best rose scent I’ve smelled thus far. It’s not too sweet or bitter, but it’s a clean photorealistic rose that’s inoffensive and lasts for a good while. Perfectly blended.

Byzantine Rose (Claude Dir, 2021) Scentrack: Minus 8 – Elysian Fields Rose is a very tricky note to work on. It is virtually impossible to recreate the natural smell of a queen of florals with its more than 300 compounds. Rose fragrances often recreate just one aspect of this multifaced flower. The note of rose in Signature Rose is very deep and multifaceted. Rich, opulent, and full-bodied. It possesses the deep red floral darkness, a jam-like damascone angle, green thorn aspects, and a strange red wine mirage. Still, the rose is not overwhelming. The beautiful and realistic Orthodox Church incense gives a darker undertone and restrains this beautiful rose “monster”. As time passes by, a subtle peony note is introduced, as well as Hedione-like note, while darker incense and amber notes become more pronounced. The whole composition morphs into a rose Turkish delight dessert with a sugary aspect and a touch of sweet wood. Still, on my skin strongly resembles Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 450 with a floral sweetness vibe. Verdict As far as roses go, look no further 😊 Scentimentalwords

Dressed this up today (tie, sweater vest, jacket) after not having worn it for a minute... and was like: "Smelling Good - Feeling Good!" Gives me a smoke on rose water feeling. The rose is multifaceted, nuanced, and persistent. The frankincense and myrrh give me a similar feel to Jo Malone's Myrrh & Tonka. The rose is persistent. There's a nice smoky, resinous, sweetness that blossoms in slow motion. The rose is persistent. Wouldn't say I'm a fan of rose; but I am a fan of this. The agar wood and sandalwood are smooth operators here, holding everything up, beautifully blended and smooth. I'm definitely at the 13+ hour mark and hugs still smell good.

A jammy but also tart rose. It’s pretty, a decent take on rose. At the same time, it’s nothing notable and there is something underneath it all that doesn’t sit too well with me and makes it slightly savory on the end of each inhale. Maybe it’s the touch of oud? It actually reminds me a lot of the rose in Sorce’s A Witch’s Valentine, like a rich suede rose. After drying down for a few hours, I can identify that weird little note as a synthetic lychee, a similar artificial quality I tend to struggle with in many perfumes.
