003: VOID BLOOM

Review #1 I’m fairly new to collecting fragrances and I blind-bought Zara 003: Void Bloom last winter — what a pleasant surprise. At first it greets you with green tea and fresh ginger, bright and clean, but what really won me over is the way it settles. The rose in the heart has a metallic, slightly modern edge, and the whole thing dries down into an earthy, mossy, ambrox-driven trail that feels polished and wearable. It’s simple, confident, and lasts longer than I expected for the price. A decade ago I used to wear CK2 all the time, and that scent will always be one of my favourites. Void Bloom doesn’t copy CK2, but in the drydown it gives me that same nostalgic feeling — the wet-stone, urban-woody memory I loved in CK2 is echoed here by the mix of patchouli, moss and modern ambrox. Where CK2 had vetiver, incense and a mineral, concrete-like vibe, 003 translates that into a softer, more floral-anchored version: less gritty, more refined, but still carrying the same cool, slightly androgynous DNA that made CK2 special to me. If you’re starting a collection and like clean-but-complex scents with a modern woody-mossy finish, 003: Void Bloom is a great, affordable blind-buy. It’s not a clone of CK2, but it scratches the same itch — a comforting, slightly urban drydown that brings back memories while feeling fresh enough to wear today. Highly recommend, of course if Zara will ever resell it in the near future 👍

It's my favorite of the collection. Smells like a very icy and fresh rose stem with a touch of patchouli. Only problem is that it's also the weakest and I can barely smell it. It does last on skin but stays really close and for around 5 hours. The others on the collection last longer.

Firmenich perfumer Ane Ayo is credited with this fragrance. Simple and really easy to wear, with its straightforward composition of ginger-scented green tea, lab grown rose (rose oxide), a scrubbed clean patchouli, all resting on a base of moss + ambroxan. It doesn’t project all that much but it seems very durable and lasts an impressive amount of time on skin. I would imagine that’s due to its reported 25% fragrance oil in the formula - it’s marked as ‘parfum’ strength on the perfume’s packaging. I’m a fan.

More like rose patchouli than rose tee combo. It felt stronger and better on paper than later on skin. It reminds me of that series of fragrances with rose accord that they did in 2023 or 2024

This has been macerating for a while now and it became smoother and more voluptuous . Happy to have it in my collection

Smells like 90's ,just very similar to L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme.
